flashbacks: T.O.D.A.S

As I sulking at that dreadful night, I stared that cursed shirt at my laundry bin.. Gustong gusto ko siya pero bakit ako minamalas? Di ako mapahiin pero eto lang sa shirt na to, lagi ako tinotodas. hahahahaha

Well, sabi ko nga kay Rheg, kunin niya tong letcheng shirt. Kahit di magkasya sa kanya, ok lang.. hehe Basta ilayo na sa kin ito..

I got this shirt from a shop called happy days, wayback what 4 years ago. Nasa glorietta pa nga siya na ngayon wala na yun pwesto kasi sa explosion nangyari. I tried to find it today, pero baka defunct na.

Anyway, I was a fan of that show. Joey de Leon, Val Sotto, Spanky tapos yun iba pa.. Panahon din yun ng John en marsha saka, Champoy.. Pero siyempre mas ok sa kin yun todas, lalo pag narinig ko yun opening song saka yun logo.. Sayang yun ibc dati. hehe

Nun nakita ko sa Happy Days yun shirt, aba bili agad ako, kahit medium yun size, nagkasya sa kin. Hay.. Ayun, nasuot ko na siya lagi..

Pero napansin ko lang na may sumpa ata tong tshirt na to after some years. Like nun nag marathon ako with CRAP, alam ko di ako nageexcercise ha pero naman after that marathon, isang linggo ako nilagnat. Pero ok lang nandun si princesa. hehe

After that, parang pagsinuot ko yun may nangyayaring masama.. Tinigil ko din suotin.. Lalo na nun di nagkasya sa kin.. hehe

Pero since pumayat naman ako, nasuot ko siya almost 2 weeks ago.. Shorts day in the office, ayun mukhang pambahay naman ako. hehe

Everything that day is well, work is not tight tapos nakakain naman, masaya kung baga. Then after the shift, I went to glorietta to meet Joanne and Ivan.. Nagkita pa kami ni Joanne then ayun libot ng libot, tapos as we walke along, ayun na.. Parang nilalagnat ako. hehe

Then habang naghihintay ako, ayun may nagtext, wala na daw si Tito Dan.. Ayun.. Naisip ko naman si mommy agad..

Umuwi na ko agad, and as I went home, sobrang nanghihina na ko tapos kala ko di na ko aabot ng bahay.

Mabuti naman mabilis yun fx kahit friday at sweldo. hehe

I went home, ayun sobrang hina, nilalagnat at crying in my room, quite dark I can say..

I thought, na T.O.D.A.S nga ko ng araw na yun..

Naisip ko na din, pamigay ko na to, kahit mahal ko yun shirt. The simple navy blue color saka yun logo ng T.O.D.A.S, sobrang love ko yun shirt. hehe

Kaso time to let go.. I hope kung talagang susuotin ni Rheg to, wag naman siya malasin. hehe Very direct kasi. Naman oh.. But anyway, I'm going to miss wearing that shirt. Marami na nga nagsabi sa kin bagay eh.. What a statement shirt!

Simply clever.

San. Lynn Minmay (DYRL, Macross movie)

As I watch her sing in DYRL, I was so mesmerized. Dazed and addicted.. Blue hair (which is I know impossible in reality, hehe) Dazzling eyes, perky and sweet personality.. Most of all, damn sweet hypnotizing voice.. Oh well, there's no like her in reality.. hehe

Why she is up high? Hmmmm of all the five anime ladies, she has not only has a sweet voice, a typical japanese girl quality but she was able to sing it in a great way.. Priss has a good voice but hers was more fit to rock songs. Lynn's voice is for love, ballad and even pop, quite versatile I can say..

Well, she has shorcomings, one quite selfish because at first she doesn't want to sing to save the dearly human race from Zentradi... And yes, quite childish.. Just like her.. hehe

But doesn't stop from being to like her. I mean wow, I can't just take my eyes off from her.. Especially when she sings. The singer behind her, I mean the voice actress.. Quite has some resemblance from somebody.. Hmmmmm. hehe But come on, she doesn't have the looks of Lynn Minmay. hehe

The songs that I can truly say which I always stuck to her are the song she sang at the final battle sequence and of course, the last song.. Damn, I thought she can have an animated concert all by herself..

I don't know how the creators thought of her, I mean I know she is like the typical jpop idol, but for me, she isn't..

And she's damn great. Lovely as well.. Hikaru made the wrong choice..

I'll choose her over Misa. hehe

Dati sa election, dalawa lang ang klase ng kandidato, ang nanalo at ang nadaya daw.

Tapos na yun, at eto na ngayon...

Nung narinig at nakita na walang nagkakagulo sa canvassing parang tulala lahat. Di kagaya dati na nagkakagulo, ni ayaw pabukas yun balot box kahit binilang na matino..

Ngayon walang lusot. hehe

Well, masasabi pa din may daya, pero di sa botohan, eh nandiyan pa din yun vote buying, flying voter, at iba pa. Nung ako nga bumoto, di na ko hiningan ng ID, wala pang picture sa voters list, so pwede pa din makalusot.

Pero yun matinding dayaan, like hello garci o kahit dagdag bawas, wala na.

Credible? Hmmm almost naman, kasi mabilis at deretcho. Wala na humaharang, except siyempre sa Mindanao na, well, no need to explain. Scary in times of election..

Pero all in all naman mukhang ganito na dapat ang eleksyon.. Di magulo saka mabilis saka siyempre credible.

Pero marami pang kakainin bigas yun comelec. Number one ayusin yun voter's list. Dos, yun clustering of precincts parang di fair, eh yun presinto ko walang tao samantalang yun kabilang presinto ko, hanggang hapon, parang may sine pa din. O kahit na lang sa ibang lugar dapat maayos na nila yun..

O kahit lakihan na lang yun venue para maayos. Di yun classroom lang tapos nagsisiksikan yun mga tao.

Ah siyempre, yun balota, dapat talaga investigate yun party list, grabe, mas mahaba pa sila combined yun president, VP, senators saka local officials. Grabe. hehe Smartmatic? Di dapat sila next election.

Yun lang pero ok na to.. Ah naging peaceful pala.. Kahit papano wala naman balita na nagpapatayan dahil lang sa ballot box.

O kaya nagkagulo sa bilangan at ang kinakatakot ng lahat, brownout sa election. Well, naisip siguro ng meralco na di rin epektib. hehe

Ok naman lahat, improvement lang saka changes sa process. Like PDI headlines says, "Fast counting stuns Nation"

Candidates conceding just days after ng bilangan.. Even without the official results

Siyempre kung mabilis ang bilangan, alam na ng kandidato na talo na sila. hehe

Pero nakakapanibago, parang nung pinapanood ko si Villar na nagcoconcede, setting aside his pride and ego, parang enlighting. Wow.. Then sumunod na yun iba parang wala lang. That's what you call professional. They accept defeat and truth. Unlike me. hehe

Except yun isa na hanggang ngayon, nadaya daw siya. Naman, ayaw pa tumanggap ng pagkatalo.

Maganda din simula yun sa mga politiko natin, kung talo talaga, tanggappin na lang. Kasi dati, magwawala pa, parang di pa tapos ang laban kahit may resulta na, naku di na pwede yan ngayon. hehe Sana din, wag naman sila magkasakit pag natalo. Wag damdamin ha.

Marami na kasi namatay dahil natalo sa eleksyon.

Civil groups na din at iba pa na nakitulong na din tumulong sa eleksyon. Akalain mo marami na pala may kopya ng ER so natratrack na nila. At may napansin ako, nung walang NAMFREL, parang mas ok yun election. Wala lang. Parang iba this time. hehe When PPCRV stepped in, parang mas ayos. I don't know why..

Well, formality na lang ang ginagawa ngayon ng comelec at iniintay na lang yun congress gumawa ng canvassing for the 2 main positions, president at VP..

At oo naman, nakabili na ko ng B.O.T.O sa Subway, kala ko di ako aabot kanina. 1st break. hehe Ang sarap, sulit ang tatlong beses ako bumalik sa kanila. hehe

It's too big though, that partlist list should really be decreased to just small number. Yun talagang party, hindi yun parte partehan. hehe

Well, as expected, sa ibang lugar, sobrang gulo. Grabe, ilan oras ang pila at nagkakagulo pa. Mabuti sa presinto ko, grabe, parang mas matagal pa yun paghanap ng pangalan ko sa voter's list ng teacher kaysa yun sa pagboto ko. hahaha

Ganun talaga pagboto, mabilis at maayos. Sana sa lahat ng lugar dapat ganun na.

Ewan ko lang sa mga kandidato natin. hehe

Saka, mukhang mahirap na makadaya. Pero may posible pa din.

Natatawa nga ko kay Mike Enriquez, tuwing magrereport siya, lagi niya emphasize yun tahimik, maayos, walang gulo. Kasi tama siya. Naku, dati na mano mano, ang ingay sa presinto lalo na sa bilangan, paano madami kasing epal. Namely watchers.

Si Rheg, mainit sa kanila, siguro nakulitan. Ako naman hindi kasi late na ko bumoto saka wala nang talo. hehe

Totoo naman yun, dati kasi yun mga watchers sigaw ng sigaw tapos pakialamero pa. Eh ngayon, nakatingin na lang sila. hehehe. Walang reklamo at tunay na watcher lang.

Mabuti nahanap ko yun pangalan ko. Dad at Kuya Allan, wala na sa voter's list. Si Mommy kahit sa Proj 7 pa nakarehistro, ayun nakaboto pa din.

Sa presinto naman, maayos dito. Kaya masarap bumoto at yun PCOS machine, ewan ko, kung bakit sa dami ng design, bakit naman mukhang recycle bin. In fairness, black. hehe

Umalis na ko at pumunta sa suki, to get some paninda. Went to welcome, drop the paninda, attempted to take advantage Buy One Take One by Subway, but unfortunately, no more bread by 6pm. Great. hehe

As night came in, I was surprised, it is very surreal, votes are counting in fast! Wow, I thought I'll be 50 then we get the results in months. Now, its just days.. That is surreal. Unimaginable.

Wow, sabi ko parang may progress papano ang bansa, kahit papano, wala ng lusot ang mga politiko na masasabing nadaya sila. Kasi naman, pagnagkamali ng boto, wala na yun balota. Di kagaya dati, siyempre, babasahin yun balota tapos pag medyo mali spelling, o mali pronounce, dun na papasok ang mga watchers. Pang gulo. hehe

Eh ngayon, talagang watchers lang sila, sa labas. Ewan ko kay Rheg, bad experience sa mga watchers. hehe

I thought it will be trouble for this day but I admit I was wrong. I miscalculated, lost faith in this elections. When I saw the process, there is still hope for us. Nah, I'm not giving all the credit to comelec, even smartmatic, but for the Filipino people, who just want to excercise the right to choose.. Choose a better future by choosing good leaders.

Unfortunately, di ko sure kung good leaders nga. hehehe Pero masaya ako, nagpuyat nga ko eh, akalain mo may panalo na sa lokal ng hating gabi. Ayos! hehe Yeah, I can't believe it..

I hope this will be a start for progress going forward, not backward.

San. Mugen (Samurai Champloo

An ideal samurai, as we all know, brave, has an x mark, or has a weird ponytail, quiet, calm, cunning, logical or clever, willing to die for his comrade or leader and most of all, has a reliable sword.

None of them represents this dude. Geesh. hehe Well for Jin of course, but for this funky samurai, nah. He is into a different brand of samurai.

I love Cowboy Bebop which I don't know if the movie adaptation with the same director plan will work, has another series, under the name of Samurai Champloo. If Cowboy has a jazz thing, this series is into hip hop. Damn weird, but it's cool. Especially for one character that stands out. Mugen!

That's why the hip hop music element is in the series, because of him. Lazy, with quite a afro hair, arrogrant prick, dumb but dependable, especially never say die attitude.

I like him than Jin. No offense to Jin, but Mugen is just damn good unpredictable samurai. Hehe I can say he is clever in the sense he cheats. hehe Or how about his style? Oh that where the funky part starts to kick in. Wow, a breakdancing, samurai. He has also a weird sword fighting technique and even he is thin, he is strong as well. Deceptive appearance.

Quite maniac as well to chicks. hehe But chicks like him, like one episode which he helped, and that chick ninja wants to be with him. Damn and Mugen well, forgot about her. Another damn. hehe

I don't like him for some, like lazy, dumb, and risky. Especially in the last episodes, he is quite lucky. hehe However, the best quality he has is being brave. How many strong enemies he defeated in the series? Almost all of them. The last enemy was quite hard, harder than Jin's.

That's the best part I saw, on how he defeated that one eye scythe guy. Or even how he defeated the blind assasin mom. Or even how he helped the ninja chick. hehe

This dude, is just not scared of anything, quite energetic as well. If he and Jin will fight (which it did not happen again up to the last part), definitely, Jin will lose badly.

Mugen is quite different from all the samurai that I saw, his style, aura lazy but deadly and of course, fighting skills, like Jin says, unpredictable. He quite mixed samurai, and caopeira style with a little of gulang. hehe

Oh yes, his sword, like a big sai, the only difference is his big sai cuts people.
