(computer science ang take ko instead of BA)
That's a big if! hahaha Siguro kung ganun... 10 years na ko nagwowork sa isa o dalawang IT company. hehe Paano kung pumasa ako sa second choice ko na com sci! Malamang sa old building ako mapupunta at malamang din... Sorry to sound offensive, malamang puro geeks kasama ko dun. hahaha At yes, malamang tag tuyot dun. Although ang college of science masasabi ko na medyo quality ang mga lady students dun. Yun nga lang ang quantity, ehem. hehe For short, mas ok pa sa building namin. haha
Kaso, yun lang naisip ko, puro aral ito. Malamang ang mga kaklase ko, kaunti lang yun pakwela unlike sa BA. Pero mas gusto ko kasi yun computer science or programming, transforming into a computer geek of sorts and mostly memorize na ang computer and basic programming ng mga languages. Bonus hacking skills pa. hahaha Sarap nun, siguro naman may kalaro naman ako sa computer games noon. Unlike sa BA, counterstrike lang at NBA live lang mga pwede kalaro ko.
Siyempre, ang problema ko mga subjects siguro puro science! I admit at nasabi ko naman kaya di ako pumasa dito eh 73 ang score sa science entrance exam eh. hehehe So physics saka malamang yun lang. Bad trip baka puro physics ang mga subject dito!
Eh kung ang lab puro pang computer, kaya na! ahahaha pasado na to kahit hanggang thesis.. That's how I love computers. Geez.. Baka nga today apps na binubuo ko which is not possible. What else, hmmmm malamang college pa lang may computer na ko or laptop. 2006 ata ako nagkaroon ng sariling computer! hehe So pag computer science eh magastos sa una, sa huli parang hindi. Unlike sa BA, puro gastos!!!! Lalo na pagraduating na!
About the uniform, sa ladies ok lang, sa guys like me, mas respetado.. I mean, kaysa naman sa uniform namin na parang PSG di ba? hahaha Hmmmm malamang dahil puro aral ito, kaunti lang un mga good time. Mukhang yun ang mamiss ko! Umaga pa lang, inuman na o bilyar na. hahaha At gimikan din sa gabi. Mukhang di ko kaya mawala yun ha. Pero malay mo, nasa loob din ang kulo ang mga might have been com sci classmates.
Ah oo nga pala, malamang kaunti lang kami, unlike sa BA na kilala ko lahat ng pang umaga, kaunti sa hapon at mayroon pa sa gabi. Pero malamang close ko lahat ng kabatch kasi kaunti lang naman.
Ang tanong eh, magiging close friends ko lahat gaya sa BA? That's a big if.. I don't know or don't have a clue kung sino yun mga kaklase mo. CRAP malamang nandun pa din lalo na si Doc kabuilding ko. hehe Pero marami kaya ako friends niyan?
Well, di ko masabi kung magiging masaya ako kung talagang natuloy ako dun pero ang sure eh...
Masaya naman ako nang galing ako BA. =)
Noong mga panahon eh ok na ko at yun kwarto ko eh kaunti na lang ang tulo pero inaayos pa din.. Nabalik na lahat ang gamit ko and starting again from blogging, at surfing and some things sa computer ko. DOTA nga muntikan ko na makalimutan. hehe At thanks to my external HDD eh mukhang maayos naman.
Well, a problem came.. A simple yet a big problem..

A lesson learned in a very hard way! hahahaha Mom well, nakikigamit siya ng computer and Gerro of course, pero nung una ok naman. Kaso noong isang araw, hala.. Pag bukas ko ng computer, nag error na, press this to start windows normally or this para magstart for confirguration! I tried ilagay yun CD napanginstall.. Ayun, paikot ikot na. =(
Hanggang sa may milagro nangyari, nakarating ako ng home page and stuff.. Kaso nung pinatay ko ulit at nag-on.. Naloko na.. Di na makatsamba. hehe Bad trip! Oh well, after some advise galing sa iba, mukhang no choice na ko..
I need to reinstall and reformat again. Hay naku! Well... Bad news is, siyempre yun settings mo ok na, mawawala, files at programs na nakalagay eh malamang wipe out at higit sa lahat yun mga download ko na bago, wala na din. good job. hehe
Great news is.. Dito natest ang back up plan ko! hahaha Well, kuha muna ako ng matinong win7 tapos yun office ko pala eh palpak na din.. At mabuti na lang natago ko yun mga drivers para sa mobo at videocard and usb3 din. At higit sa lahat, yun mga programs na importante like DOTA eh buhay pa. hehe
So, no choice na ko at tanggap ko na kailangan ulitin lahat, kahit yun mga blog ko eh nabura na din kaya ulit na naman ako sa count. Erghh.. Some days later, ok na. Eto na balik na computer ko! At mukhang mas mabilis pa..
Parang natetempt ako gawin ulit pag tagal since una sa ibang driver ko naman ilalagay ang mga files ko kaya pag nasira ang C, no problem at may back up pa ko. Drive D is the way! Pangalawa eh yeah may backup. hehe At huli, educational, natuto na ko kahit mag saving point ng system settings and paano mag install ulit. Whew, mabuti talaga may backup. Kaya kayo, mag backup!
At least mga 70% na nawala eh nabalik ko ulit agad. Kailangan mataasan ko pa yun in the future.

Nawala pala yun DOTA 2, well download na lang ulit. hehe
No more electric fan focusing in my CPU. No more wishes that my CPU will run. At higit sa lahat, wala ng freezing windows. hehe Well, after a tedious installation, pero may problema pa... I feel relieved that after 7 long years, I have now a new computer! It doesn't look Iron pa, pero Maiden naman na sa specs. hehe
It is built around i5 3330, 4gb of RAM with heat spreader, 500GB black WD HDD, Gigabyte motherboard which is very suprisingly performer ha despite mura. hehe 1GB of video card which makes gaming or watching movies a breeze and addictive. No more floppy drive.. At isang dvd writer from HP which does at least basic task. hehe
A case na medyo maasahan at ang power supply which maasahan pa for now. hahaha In the next months, I'll buy a more stable power supply. 20 inch LED monitor na ngayon ko narealize pwede na pala, or the max is 21, kasi pag 23 na.. Sayang lang. hehe
I'm very happy with this pero siyempre may letdown, my problem with the HDD, which sana maayos ng aking reliable friends. hehe What I really love in this computer? USB 3.0, na eto ang rason kung bakit natagalan ako magdecide.
Imagine, almost 200 dvd's of well, movies and stuff transferred to my external 1TB in a matter of 1 week lang. I mean 1 to 2 hours a day of transferring tapos bago mag 1 week, tapos na!!! hahaha 4GB of data transfer is only 5 mins, unlike sa 2.0 na around 20 mins yun. 700MB or 1GB matter only for 1-2 mins.. hehe Grabe, talagang panalo ito. Kahit di 3.0 yun transfer ko, napakabilis, siguro add 1 min from 1-2 mins, ok na.. Next build, lahat ng port 3.0! hehe
As much I want to go for i7, tight budget and yeah kailangan ko na maglipat ng file. hehe But that's fine, i5 3330 eh sulit, lalo na sa kuryente.. Maganda talaga sa intel kung bibili ka ng mas updated na processor kaysa yun dating i5 na malakas sa kuryente, according sa mga tests ha. I can say, better talaga yun mga bago labas. Parang smartphone lang.
Nakakatawa, pag kuha ko ng computer, sobrang natagalan ako sa pag install kasi iba na pala ang start up ng system ngayon. Install lahat ng drivers muna tapos OS, tapos etong warcraft 3 na sakit sa ulo na sa huli, tapos na! hehe
Ah I want to thank first of all, PCNET Miles, na di lang accommodating, kung di very helpful at marami ako natutunan with such a low price. Value talaga all through out despite no repair. hehe Ok lang, software repair naman kailangan pero quality service and binebenta at maganda free delivery pa! Malapit pa samin. Ayos! hehe Next built and upgrades definitely sa kanila na..
Ah all the websites that involves reviews ng mobo and processors, bit-tech.com and cpuboss.com, ah cnet.com or even simply product websites! As much I want Asus kaso mahal.. Gigabyte way to go, next build kayo ulit! hehe Muntikan na ko mag AMD but due to it's hungry for power, eh intel talaga. For speed and efficiency, Intel talaga, i5 for sure multitask and sorts.. i7 kung may pera ka for high end computing and stuff, i3 eh budget ka talaga. Sa wakas, feeling ko yun SAP na trial program na mayroon ako dati, mukhang running smooth na dito. hehe At yun migration ko of my blog to a better site is easier and now realizing na kaya na unlike sa dating computer na naghang na pag nacopy paste pa lang. hehe
Pero AMD is for really budget conscious people, kung AMD ako, malamang yun budget ko pang 8 core na nila. hehe Ang tanong lang handa ka na ba sa bill mo sa meralco? hehe At more fans, madaling uminit pero I still refer AMD kung graphics wise lalo na pag walang video card, AMD can fill that gap, in a much cheaper price. Yun nga lang, medyo antay antay na lang sa pagload! hehe Pag may patience, go with AMD.
Saka yeah, next one and a half year or 2 years, another build will come. Maybe I will not call it Iron Maiden, a different one. hehe May gagamit naman nito pag tagal lalo na lumabas na yun haswell processors, drooling with more efficient processors and powerful din!

Well, say goodbye to my punishing fire.. Despite a lot of help na ginawa ng punishing fire, these past days, ayun, pang film viewing na lang. hehe Sad but true.. Time to let go of that one.

Kulang na lang Ref ang gawin nila o siguro, sariling computer set. hehe I mean the processor, RAM, HDD or even motherboard. Lahat ng peripherals meron na sila eh.
I can't believe na around college days eh ang binebenta lang nila ay mga blank CD lang. Then DVD format arrived, nag blank DVD din sila, tapos nagbebenta na sila ng peripherals noong but branded. Still they don't have POS machines. Old school, hardware type payment system. Lista, bayad tapos resibo, yun lang. Kaya talagang matagal ka pag dumaan dito.
Pero nung tumagal and almost a decade, dumami na branch nila at yes, cannot believe they made their own set of devices, even TV's, LED tv's pa! DVD players, cellphones, modems, other appliances and even generators! Yes, small generators. Geez, nahiya pa sila. hehe Siyempre nandiyan pa din ang mga blank DVD, CDs and other household things. I don't know how they were able to expand their business but siguro talaga its the matter of saving for the future operations. Although may mga nagsara na CDR king like sa Quiapo at UST, even sa DLSU wala na.. They have a lot of branches naman, at dumadami pa!
I can say that this shop or venture eh one of the successful ventures I saw in the recent time. Not super big time pero despite of decreasing price of electronic parts or gadgets at sama mo pa na laging nagbabago ang computer parts and the dawn of mobile computing eh lalo pa ata sila kumikita. At lumalaki pa.. Nakita ko nga yun operations nila just by monitoring them. Prompt service and knowledgeable staff, kahit si ate eh kala mo sa sari sari store lang ang dating o iba kamukha ng mga tindera namin.. hehe Pero yun alam nila ang ano parts ang kailangan, o ano pwede, yun mga technical info alam nila. Hirap siguro ng training nila. hehe Their tech support ok din, test muna bago kunin yun order. Sa dami ko binili sa kanila, bihira lang ako nagkaproblema, I forgot na nga kung ano yun. I want to thank them kasi sa kanila lang ako bumibili ng blank DVDs for my well vast collection. hehe Mura kasi blank DVD at may quality pa.
Pero definitely, it's an one stop shop for all your IT/computer needs! hehe Si Kuya nga, sa sobrang lakas ng CDR king eh binabase niya na yun presyo ng Memory card or flash drive sa kanila kasi may mga customer talaga dun pa pumupunta para bumili. Kaya kahit maliit tubo niya, no choice eh, kailangan isabay mo yun presyo mo sa kanila.
Panget lang sa kanila, well kasama sa pagtitipid yun old school system nila, kahit matagal pwede na pagtiyagaan pero sana pagisipin nila in the future na maging electronic na di ba. Siguro umiiwas sila sa additional tax! hehe
Naisip ko nga na magfranchise o kahit kami ng family kasi talagang kumikita siya at ang mahirap na part sa operations eh inventory siguro. Lalo na ngayon, ang dami ng gamit na ginagawa nila! Kaya kakaawa siguro na nagiinventory nun. hehe
Isa pa pala na medyo alanganin.. Eh sa monitor, TVs at LED/LCD tvs.. I'm not sure kung reliable, pero one time may nagpapalit at mukhang galing pa sa malayong lugar yun customer.. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, mukhang magdadalawang isip ako bago bumili ng monitor or LED sa kanila. hehe Eh paano ba naman, sira na TV after 6 years of wear and tear.. Kaso pag sa SM ka tumingin or ibang appliance store, mahal talaga.. Out of budget. Crap..
Well, I'll see kung ok sa kanila, hoping it's worth the buy.
I hope they will grow further, and yeah marami pa sila maserve na customer at oo, marami pa silang maemploy na tao...
Sana tuloy lang nila na affordable yun prices for the masses..

Hell with that cybercrap law whatever!!!!! hehehe Naisip ko lang, what if.. Ang course ko eh Com Sci, tapos I choose system administration or magaling sa MIS.. Management information systems.. Or kaya magaling ako sa programming.. Malamang, dapat alam mo ding maghack! The first thing to do is try to hack financial institutions! hehe Trip lang. Eh sa call center/bpo nagagawa yun, paano pa kaya yun mga outside hackers. Kaunti espionage lang sa company, some loose customer info or kahit sa website and google, then tadah! Pwede na try maghack. I read one article sa isang magazine, na may isang criminal sa states which I forgot the dude's name.. Grabe, ang galing ng ginawa niya!! Sa sobrang galing, eh until now, di siya mahanap.
Paano ba naman, dati siya nagwork sa malaking US brokerage firm, then got the process on how to apply for mortgage ata, then some searching the SSN websites, then has an automatic dialer sa computer, voice changer then some luck.. Syphoned hundreds or even millions of dollars to pensioners, ang malas eh yun military pensioners pa. Grabe, tapos di siyempre siya papayag mahuli. Inayos niya muna paano mag launder ng money which is to tell you the truth, it's a training sa financial institutions. From my experience, we should know how it works. Eh siya, complicated ang trail kaya di siya mahuli. At nung nahuli ang trail and like the transmission nung ginagawa niya, authorities were too late. Until now, I don't know kung nahuli na siya.
How about that I love you virus? Geez pinoy lang gumawa. Eh kung di naman financial institutions.. Games naman ang ihack, or simply the OS! First target, MAC OS in it's mobile devices. Kaya jailbreak agad. Mautak si Android, pagbigay sa other mobile manufacturers, yun main code lang pala.. Tapos the rest of the OS for the phone eh sa manufacturer na, kaya parang walang jailbreak sa mga Samsung, LG, Sony and others. Kaya kumikita pa si Android/Google through apps. By the way, their OS for mobiles are free as they claim. Pero yun MAC, next month, may beta na for jailbreak sa IOS 6. hehe Games din sa console kung matyaga ka maghack, imbes tapusin mo yun laro, may cheat ka na! hehe
Then, yes.. As a hacker, and yes, spying for intel.. Malamang, get other info through web na pwede alam mo na.. To sell, use it to your advantage or worse insider trading. Parang benta din na ikakasaya ng trading players especially in business or stocks.
Or well.. Penetrate the business process through certain programs they use. But that's impossible unless genius ka sa lahat ng computer applications available on earth. God like ka na. hehe Kakabaliw ata yun.
At ang pinakamalakas na trip eh lalo na dito sa pinas.. Just hack a website and nobody will catch you! hehe Evident naman, do that in the US or other countries, sa kulungan ka babagsak.

And sad to say, as much that law is a law but well nastop because of the TRO pero it's just another bland style of justice here. Nasusulat nga, hanggang dun na lang. Paano tayo uunlad? I mean, other laws are existent and binding but not executed properly. Mas maraming ganun kaysa sa working laws.
And this law, eh stagnant to. Kahit walang TRO or even that Libel provision of the law will be modified or removed, none will happen. Hackers will be more aggressive and they will test the limits of the law, and loopholes will be just there and yes.. As much we want to protect property rights, personal abuses, or simply catch cyber criminals, this law won't work. We need to have great hackers that works for the government, great gadgets to catch those suckers, and political will, then apply specific laws na din.
For now, pag nandiyan ang cybercrime law na yan..
