flashbacks: RETAIL

Noong tumititig lang ako sa stante ko, naka tanga at tinitignan ko yun mga paninda ko, naisip ko talagang may plan ako magnegosyo dati pa...

I mean, naalala ko lang. Nung bata pa kasi ako, may isang summer yun, parang GS ata ako. Di ko lang maalala kung bakit maraming mani, banana chips, butong pakwan na nakabalot sa maliit na plastic tapos naka stapler sa karton. Yun parang tingi tingi na huhugutin na lang pag may bumili.

I'm puzzled how those thing displayed in our project 7 house. Well, biglang naisip ko nung bata na magbenta! Di ko nga lang alam kung bakit ko naisip yun samantala, tamad naman ako nung bata. hehe

Bigla din naisip ko na sa green na gate ako pwesto ng shop. Kakamiss din yun gate na yun, lumalambitin kasi ako dun eh. hehe Pero dun sa araw na yun, maliit na tindahan muna ng mga candy at banana chips, at mga mani.

Parang mali pa ata yun strategy ko nun araw na yun, kasi parang hapon lang ako nagbukas, tapos siyempre wala naman papansin sa tindahan. Hehe May bumili naman, mga dalawa siguro tapos 3 piso lang ang benta. Ang galing naman ng salesman, accountant, manager, parang may pambayad pwesto ha.

Ayun pagkatapos ng araw na yun, napagod na ko. Parang wala lang tapos yun tatlong piso, parang pinambili ko na din kila Mang Doms (yun tindahan sa basketball court). Yun mga paninda, di ko na binalikan, iniwan ko na sa sala.

Wala na sumunod, batugan na naman ako. hehe Pero bata pa naman ako nun.

Di ko akalain paglaki ko, yun pala kahit papano bubuhay sa kin. Lalo na last year. Aba, pag wala yun, baka sa kangkungan ako pupulitin. hehe

Tapos ngayon isang taon na pala ang shop. Parang naisip, maybe I was born to be a retailer. Or handle a business. Siyempre, not act like what I did when I was a kid. hehe

Kahit ako nagulat, di ko akalain na magbebenta pala ako. Kahit tahimik naman ako. hehe

Di ko akalain na hahawak ako ng sarili kong shop. Kahit may kulang pa ko sa shop, balang araw, o sana this year, complete na ko sa shop. I mean, asset na lahat for me, kahit sa huling gamit na pangbenta diyan. Akin.

Mahirap din pinagdaanan, di yun mula nun bata, yun last year.

Sa negosyo pala kailangan di lang sipag at tiyaga, kundi maraming sipag at tiyaga. hehe Sipag na bumenta, magayos ng tindahan, magisip ng promo, tignan kung may kulang sa paninda saka siyempre pondo. Tiyaga na maghintay lumakas ng benta, maghintay na may mga araw na talagang wala, at may araw naman na sobrang lakas. hehe Tiyaga makisama di lang sa customer, pati na din sa empleyado kahit isa lang. Aba, kahit isa lang kailangan maganda naman ang pakikitungo di ba.

Tiyaga din na marating ang plano mo sa negosyo. Maghintay kung baga at mararating din yan.

Nung naisip ko nun bata hanggang ngayon, siguro eto sa mga isang nasa plano ko na sa buhay, kahit di naman talaga nakaplano dati. Kakatuwa. hehe

Lalo na ang tinapos ko sa college? Business Admin. Wow. hahaha

At least, di naman banana chips o mani ang binebenta ko..

Ah, likas na talaga sa Pilipino ata o talagang malas lang o di kaya planado na, nagkakaproblema ang mga bagay bago gawin. O di kaya ipabukas ang dapat gawin.

Hay, sabi ko nga sa kausap ko kanina na associate, di na ko magugulat kung magkakagulo sa Lunes. Ayos. hehe

Akalain mo, yan ang napapala pag di naman sigurado yun mga machine na binayaran ng gobyerno, di pa natest at naloloko pa. Natest pero di naman matagal yun testing.

Problema pa, yun mga machine, di pala kayang basahin lahat ng balota!

Naman, yan ang problema pag kulang sa planning ang comelec. Dati pa lang kung kahit may chance na papalpak, dapat may plan B na sila, o plan C. Kaso mukhang wala. Kahit yun manual counting, di nila iconsider. Diyos ko. hehe

Ano na gagawin natin pag naletche na ang automated election?

I see chaos upfront. Definitely chaos, more than what happened sa bagyong Ondoy.

And I feel everybody doesn't want to see that. It's like the end of times. Only in our country.

Di ko alam kung paano maayos ng comelec. Di naman ako tiwala kahit ireformat pa yun mga machines, change memory cards or even testing it again or whatever plan they have. Kasi sobrang late na, ilan araw na lang, kailangan na bumoto. Huli na para ayusin mga gusto.

We just pray and hope na smooth ang voting this coming Monday.

We all need it. We need to vote for a change and avoid this happening in the future. Not only for this election glitch. But for the progress of this beloved country.

And I need to vote so I can eat at Subway for their B.O.T.O promo!!! hehe

Balik na lang sa mano mano kung ganito pala nangyayari. hehe O

How about raise their hands for the vote, like in schools electing their class officers?

At least their is plan B.

500 days of summer

As June approaches and summer months almost done, I do think we can't reach 500 days. hehe

"This is a story of boy meets girl, but you should know upfront, this is not a love story. "

This film, is simply good..

That's all I can say. The end. hehe

Wait.. You might ask why it is 500 days of summer? I asked as well myself, damn... That's a long summer!

I did watch this after Yes Man, and I found this film through another referral from Raims. Thanks Raims! hehe

Well later I was surprised, she didn't finish the movie. Clever.

The story is not simple. Simply great but not simple to digest. Especially this is a mixture of love and hate.

The guy Tom as a simple guy who loves The Smiths and watching The Graduate meets a gal named Summer. In their office of course. For Tom, Summer is the love of his life. He deny it at first but as Summer gets close to him, he fell for it.

Summer as she always says to Tom, ah yes, Summer also loves The Smiths but more of a reading type of girl, she says were friends. Friends that hold hands, ah yes you know the romantic things and they're like a couple already. But Summer still feels, they're are just best friends.

As the countdown to reach 500 days passes, the borderline of being friends and lovers are dimishing. For Tom, as he tried to really avoid getting falling in love further or attached to Summer, he wants Summer for his whole life. For Summer, as the story goes by, she can't love Tom. She tried, but for her, they are not meant to be.

Tom destructed himself as he felt Summer is going far away and in the end, he was not the one that Summer loves. Summer in the end, married some guy who just loves reading Dorian Gray. They met at the last time, and left Tom dazed. Confused and moved on. He did meet a new girl, her name is Autumn. Nice.

This movie, seems cruel especially for Tom, but as imdb.com or how about me for example, there are some girls like Summer. That's a fact. hehe But not as extreme like what Summer did.

Even it has a not good ending, the movie is still great. One, the cast is great, Joseph Gordon-Levitt definitely, a great role and it was fit for him. Cool dude, likes The Smiths, hmmm the attitude he has on girls and how he loved Summer. I was surprised he was snubbed by Oscars, like Sam Rockwell in Moon. hehe But damn he was great in the film. I feel sorry for him in the movie, especially in the parts where he is disintegrating because of love for Summer. hehe

Zooey Deschanel, this is where love hate part comes in. I do love her in the film at the sense how she acted Summer. Especially in the romantic and seductive moments which she calls "casual". Hehe Damn, I love casual. hahaha I do hate the character. Simply because Summer is mean. Some moments in the movie, I feel sorry for Tom, that if I can just hurt Summer, but sorry, Summer used Tom and Tom just love Summer. All the time. However, Zooey is damn good. Oscar Snub? Yes for both of them, just a nomination should be given at least. Come on. hehe

The entire cast, great, from Chloe (Hit Girl) Moretz, to the 2 best friends of Tom, good actors. The pacing fine, at first, damn too fast but I like the parts where first it was sweet then another scene was the aftermath. But at the last parts, the film was into serious mood. As the movie approaches to the 500th day, there was suspense on how it happened. What really happened to Summer.

I have many scenes that I love, even the dialogue was great, like the Sid and Nancy dialogue or even elevator scene which they first meet. But the scene that I really like was the Expectation and Reality. What Tom is expecting and what really happened when he visited Summer. I thought of that before. hehe Yeah, it always happen the reality part. Damn, reality bites.

The movie I know it's ended up not that good, but I still love it because love sometimes doesn't really end in a happy tone, it's hard to move on from a position which you still love the person. It happens. It happened already.

What I like in the movie as well, of course, the soundtrack. When you put sound of The Smiths in the right mood, then the movie is already good. Add to up some songs which are quite serious yet light rhythm. hehe Maybe I should get the OST of it.

I like even the dance scene, I thought the movie will be a musical. hehe

Anyway, indeed the days of getting in love shouldn't be numbered, it should be forever and it should be for both of them. It should be unconditional not casual. hehe

Definitely, a movie to watch, but not as a movie date. hehe

Hmmmm malapit na malaman kung san kangkungan este daan pala ang mararating ng bansang to.

Election. Eleksyon. Ika nga sa eskwela, pipili na tayo ng class president hanggang sgt. at arms, o kagawad ng kalinisan, o kahit katahimikan. Diyos ko. Kadami naman atang posisyon. hehe

Sa ngayon, malamang sure na ko sa President at VP, pero yun sa 12 alipores, wala pa ko naiisip..

Natanto ko lang, ayun sa mahiwagang surbey, may mga sigurado na, pero yun iba nakakagulat. Lalo na yun mga nakakulong. Sa totoo lang, dati bumuto ako sa isang nakukulong dati, parang naisip ko, naloko ata ako. hehehe

Dapat talaga naman, wag na iboto yun ibang di naman makikita sa session hall. Please lang.

Oh pano naman yun iba, na naku, style talaga.. Dahil may apelido na, takbo agad na senador, o kahit may experience sa tong este congressman eh senador na agad. Ayos.. Ewan ko ba.. Sana ginawa ni Sir Lopez na iraid yun batasan at barilin yun mga hayop na yan. hehe May rebulto na malamang sa UST yun pag nagawa niya. hehe

Well, natawa ako dati na may nagbabalak magtayo ang party list ng mga sabungero. hehe Pero may point sila. At least, they have colorum o association..

Yun iba, takot lang lumaban sa current congressman, ang escape route? Tayo ng party list. Ayos di ba? Wow. At ang pinaka nakakainis eh yun mga party list na may A lang sa una, o number na lang. Naman, magisip naman tayo ha.

Grabe talaga yun mga yun, sabi nga ni dating Justice Gonzalez, na yun mga ganun party list, dapat iaudit. San naman kasi napupunta yun pork barrel, pangrally? Wow.. hehe

O eto pa, nakalimutan ako kung alin partylist yun.. Represents mga magsasaka pero yun congressman, naka land cruiser ata. Ayos, parang gusto ko din magtayo ng Party List!!! hehe

However, comelec is not good. Naman, yun website nila palpak, tumawag pa ko sa comelec para iverify na registered pa ba ako.

Kakabanas, tapos nung tinanong ko kung pwede humingi ng proof na nakaregister ako, sabi ba naman, depende kung busy sila.

Bwisit.. Ganyan na lang ba ang gobyerno natin, ni simpleng inquiry pahirapan pa. Kung sumagot pa, sila ang galit.

Dapat sila icalibrate eh. Meaning sa call center ops, retraining ang mga govt employees.

Hay, mahaba ito pag inisa ko pa yun kapalpakan ng gobyerno natin. Pano pa kaya yun mga kandidato natin?

Kaya sana lang.. Lahat tayo ay bumoto ng tama. I won't endorse somebody, kasi siyempre we have freedom to choose the one we like..

Pero ngayon, di lang yun gusto natin ang kailangan piliin natin, kundi yun mga lider na magbubuklod sa atin lahat at dalin sa tamang direksyon.

Di ko naman hinihingi na maging maayos agad in the next 3-6 years, pero may pagbabago, at tamang pagbabago..

akalain mo, nakatatlo ako sa isang araw. hehe Maiksi lang kasi.

Anyway, ano ba. Wala naman bago. Same me, but new scenery ha. I mean, bago ayos ang kalsada. Makulay ang kapaligiran, bago pintura ang lahat.

Yan pala nagagawa pag malapit na ang eleksyon. Magaling. hehe Kailangan ba lagi may eleksyon para may nagagawa yun mga magagaling na alipores este opisyales natin?

Hay naku, hahanapin ko pa nga yun slip nun nagparesgister ako para makavote ako next week. Letche talaga yun comelec, yun iba nakakuha ng voters ID, samantala ako hindi! Kakatamad bumoto. hehe Kaso kung tutuloy ako bumuto, sino iboboto ko?

Malalaman yan sa susunod na kabanata. At sa mga nagsasabing kamukha ko si Noy, naman, di ko iboboto sarili ko. hehe Yun ang sigurado!!

I am watching TV again, well kasi sa playoffs na. hehe Mabuti naman pasok na Cavs, PHX sa 2nd round. Yun OKC, masyado na silat ng Lakers. hehe Bad trip naman. Pero, ang matindi, Lebron MVP!!! Kobe, 13 yrs almost in the league, 1 MVP well may championships naman siya kaso si Lebron, 7 years, 2 MVPs, magkakaroon na din siya ng championship. hehe Sana manalo na siya at gagawin niya yun in expense of Kobe. Bwahaha

This month kailangan masunod na ang routine. Hmmm driving perhaps? hehe Or even budgeting. Sa shop pala, congrats!!! Anniversary na. hehe Akalain mo, one year na yun shop. Wow, time really flies fast. The 1 movie per day? Di ko pa nasusunod at dumadami na ang mga movies ko. Damn.

Well, sana maglaban na sila Mayweather and Pacman!!! Sayang si Mosley, di umubra. hehe

Bad trip naman, di ko mahanap yun registration ko sa comelec. Damn. I have no choice to visit their office. Their website sucks. I can't verify if I'm still a voter. hehe
