Yes, you are reading it right. I'm a transporter film fan, even I did not watch the short TV series. hehe Well at the first news they said that a new actor will act for the transporter, I was skeptic who will act this one. They also planned that to reboot the story. I don't what Besson is doing for his past films, even they were produced by him. I think the only one I can say successful film he produced, was Lucy. But that was not really good film, story wise.
Anyway, months later and while I'm doing my collection for transporter film, I said that I should get this film and add it. Thanks for the more free time, I kinda experiment this film, watch it right away.
One hour and a half later, I was blown away! Blown away how bad it was. Easily the worst film from the series. I can't believe they still shown this in theaters and saved me wasting couple of hundred bucks for this fantastic crap!
Many things made this film bad. First thing, sloppy action scenes! Except for that airport car scenes, everything was bad. It's almost watching a b movie action flick. The sound editing or effects for this film were bad. I don't know if the punches thrown were strong or what. It's kinda lame and choreography which you would expect great or at least, good in a transporter film, absent. The one I hate was that shot when the transporter was walking while his car was just rolling without hand brake.
I cannot understand why they added that scene. Unbelievable waste of time. Another thing, very bad screenplay. Although it was saved due to the twist in the story, but the dialog and the story, how it was presented, I was almost lost and slept. Even the film was only like short. Combined with poor action scenes then bad screenplay, this happened to me. hahaha Third thing, bad supporting cast, besides with Ed Skrein and Ray Stevenson, the whole supporting cast was poor. Never mind that I don't know the cast but I hope they kinda made an effort to improve acting. How bad it is? I thought the policeman was a villain. I don't know if he was with the bad guys, or a good police. Plus the main villains, I don't know, they were not that scary and at the same time, they also don't know what to do in the film. Geez. Ah yes, sorry, the girls, they look good and that's it. Acting wise, poor.
Lastly, the direction of the film, I don't know if Besson looked at it while shooting the film. I don't know, if this was an action flick or suspense. It was more like kidnapping film. Especially what happened to Ray Stevenson's character. Damn, even he was quite unlucky, he doesn't look like worried. He was having fun, too much fun. Weird right? He was having fun getting kidnapped by lovely ladies. hehe
Well, not all things were bad. 2 factors that served as bright spots. First, was the good cinematography. It was bright enough and balanced, film looks good, just good enough. Another thing, Ed Skein and Ray Stevenson. I was surprised that dude was too good looking as the transporter but I accept that. I have no questions about this action skills as he did that simply in Deadpool. I just hoped that the action choreo did in this film was different. Stat's transporter was fast paced and frentic. This one, if they want it slow, like taken.. Slow yet effective, they should do it properly. With a good script and action plan, Ed's transporter will be good because he's more great looking and young. Ray Stevenson as Frank's father, he was good! He did bring not only the fun but at least the sense in this film. I hope he'll be there always if they will go through. Another good thing, cost cutting! hahaha With that face paced making this film and bunch of unknown actors and tight setting.. They saved a lot of money.
It has been a long time I haven't bashed a film, so it's a good thing for me. hehe Yes, because of this bad film.. I did not put this in my collection. No need.
Unfortunately, I have other films, more films that I just saved but did not watch it like this. These films, I can say, just a waste in my HDD memory.

Tagalog naman. hahaha Saka ibang style naman for this film para madali. Grabe kapapanood ko lang ng Yakuza Apocalypse, eto naman.. Gritty yet crappy film! haha Nung first trailer na lumabas ito, grabe naexcite ako! Siyempre Triendl Reina running for her life tapos other chicks and Sion Sono film? Why not! Mahintay nga. hahaha Naisip ko sana ipalabas dito.
89 mins later. WTF! Di ako makapaniwala na ganun pala.. Ganun kalala yun film. hahaha Ok na yun first 20 mins pero nung bumabagal na at ano ano na sinasabi nung mga characters... Bwisit, ano na naman ito? hahaha I don't know what Sion Sono thought of making the film confusing na pwede naman simplehan di ba. The worst part of the film talaga was the screenplay. Grabe, as you want to know why all these things happen, eh lalo lumalayo ka at napapatanong kung bakit ko pa pinanood ito. hehe Dialogue doesn't make sense, ang may silbi lang eh yun sinasabi ni Triendl Reina.
Another thing, sayang yun ibang stars na nasa film, namely Saito Takumi and Shinoda Mariko. Si Mano Erina, forget it. hehe Sana di na nagpalit si Triendl Reina ng face at the succeding scenes. Bwisit talaga. Sayang yun effort nila at sana ibang role na lang sila. Another thing that made the film bad, some scenes, just did not work. Lalo na as the ending comes, I thought, I just want to end it. Not interesting or exciting unlike the first minutes.
Well not all bad naman yun film. Ok yun setting na ginawa ni Sono dito. Give credit to editing na kahit sobrang gulo at nakakabad trip yun story, galing pa din na di nakakahilo yun pagkaedit. Maganda yun mga running shots dito, mafeeel mo din yun rush at yun pagod. hehe At ang pinakagusto ko part, yun first minutes talaga, the shock, gore and thrill factor all in one. Lalo na yun part na nagwawala na yun mga teachers. hehe Ah don't forget the skin shots. hahaha Yes, give credit to Triendl Reina. Galing niya dito saka she can act. Hirap yun ginawa niya dito, lalo na yun first scenes. Magaling siya at may future!
I think Sion Sono really fast paced making this film. I mean kung may target ka naman na 6 films to release this year, malamang may films ka paspasan mo na! hehe Lesson learned, ok yun may target pero sana naman, make all those films kung di kaya maganda, make it memorable.
This one, not memorable, kukunin ko lang kasi it's Sion Sono. I hope this film is only one of his bad films done in a bad time.
Yakuza Apocalypse or TAG? Hard to answer. Almost fail pareho eh.
Hard to decide. hahaha I learned, I still continue to play TAG.

Well, Dad loved it because of the luscious scenery all throughout the film. For me, I hope I could have used the free ticket to watch Popoy and Basha. hehe I'll tell you why, it's not what I hoped for.
Everybody has high expectations for the film, after the very successful Skyfall, they or we expect if not better, a good follow up Bond film.
After 2 and a half hours, I thought I almost watched a Quantum of Solace part 2. The better version of it yet a lot of lack. First miss of the film, or should I say, the weakest part... The dialogue/plot of this film. I mean, I hope the plot is at least half good of Skyfall or Casino Royale but it seems they rushed it. After Sam Mendes declared first that he'll back out of this film then changed mind, that affected this film. I'm not 100% correct but I felt that swift decision to go back did not help. Next time, producers shouldn't insist if the director doesn't want to do it again. It's like I'm watching Moonraker or Octopussy in a more visually appealing way.
Another major flaw, Short times. Short time that menacing Batista screen time. Christoph Waltz as a major villain, even he done his best to act out, but I felt he came short. Short time for Belucci which it shouldn't be. hehe Short time for a marvelous aston martin car, one of the great looking cars shown in a bond film or any film. So, for short. They fell short.
Enough of the short.. Third flaw, or last flaw, the last arc of the film, although it's good looking, I fell flat. I mean, I felt that when they went to this place, I knew I'm going to watch those Bond films like I mentioned above, the streotype bond flick that he visits the villain's HQ and bomb the place. Jeez, I knew it right. Even with good actors and effects, it became predictable and yes, until the last action scene, became Mission Impossible. Good job!
Of course, these are the factors why this film kinda saved it from being Quantum, by an inch. First, give credit to the editor and photographer who really made this film very fun to watch. The night chase, the first action scene and the film did not give me a feeling that is dragging. Although with the biggest flaws, the editing and photography, it's a saving grace. It's nice to watch this film. Another credit goes to the technically possible action scenes. You'll see why Daniel Craig kinda want to give up his role. Geez, he done a lot of action and running and driving and swimming. hahaha Swimming to ehem. Anyway, yeah the action scenes were great, like the one on one by bond and assassin. That was tight and good.
Lastly, the cast ensembled for this film, despite the big flaws, they still done a wonderful job to make this film enjoy to watch unlike Quantum. Christoph Waltz is a great actor, I hope and I know he might be back because of what happened to him. I hope next time, he'll be back better for his character. I love how he deliver the lines and how he shows up every scene, except for that last scene.
Ralph Fiennes is good, Naomi Harris this time has a short part but still good, fit as moneypenny. Batista's character I hoped that will show up at the final action scene. hehe Ben as Q, he got it, just don't change the dude, he's perfect for Q! I mean the main MI 6 characters really fit for their roles.
Of course, Daniel Craig who despite less dramatic scenes this time, but he pushed a lot of action scenes for the whole film. Most of his scenes made sense and some of the time, it's thrilling, like the first scene. It's sad that how this film was made, it looks like and feels that indeed, Daniel made this film, as his final Bond film. I hope he'll do another one, just last one. But if not, that's fine, I'll put him in top 3 as James Bond.
Lastly, the most important part... When the news broke out that Belucci and Seydoux will be one bond film, the first thing I said, Daniel Craig is the luckiest James Bond actor ever. I mean he got all the beautiful bond girls ever! He beat the crap out of Roger Moore and Sean Connery. Geez. Monica Belucci should have been a bond girl before but well, great thing she catched the last bus for being one. hahaha What a legendary beauty.
Then you add Lea Seydoux who I can say, helped the film moving forward, looks stunning especially in that grey dress she wore. She looked like those classy women in black and white films. Very sophisticated and beautiful with those blue eyes. Another great thing, neither of them did not die! Good thing indeed. One of the best bond girls assembled in a bond film.
I should stop right there. hehe Anyway, hmmmm after this film, I don't know what they will do again for James Bond. Strong speculations they may go to a black Bond or very young Bond. I mean Casino Royale is enough for a backstory right?
If I'm the writer or director for Bond, I want Bond to be in a die hard situation. You know like he's doing a mission but he end up like doing other mission because of the situation. I don't know if they done that but that will be interesting. A young Bond will be fine as well. Black Bond, hmmm I don't see Bond as black, not because of the race, but he might end up like Black Dynamite. hahaha
Well, kudos for Daniel Craig for giving us a great montage of present Bond.
By the way, that dude who said this film is a different beast to Skyfall. It is a different beast.

Great thing, I have a free ticket for this film. 250 bucks was quite much for this film.
I thought my experience with Lupin III last year will be the last. I mean that not good experience with live action adaptations coming from Japan themselves. Maybe this movie will change that.. Despite the spoilers and a lot of negative reviews! I thought of saving 200 pesos to watch this, instead of eating out with my wave mates.
Anyway, enough of that intro and lets go straight to the movie.. Sad to say, it has only few good points! First, only one actress stand out and it's Hans by Ishihara Satomi, fully wrapped character, a crazy character. Suprisingly, did not do any of that flying moves but she was energetic and I felt that energy in her character. However, she did not do really much. But great thing, she still looks good despite with that outfit. Second, the last hmmmmm 20 mins of the film, kinda like it because it's almost the copy of the anime I saw last year. Good job on that and actually that's it. Ah yes, I forgot another good one, the blood and gore. hehe
Ok! Bad parts, I know I might sound biased or well, very disappointed because I saw this, ehem in a streaming site. However, with this film, it kinda save me some time and money going to the theater and watch this again. Not a chance!
First bad part, I felt, this film was made in a hurry. When I saw the announcement last year or I guess this year and the set will be used for the film, I knew... Despite they have a big budget (for a japanese film), it will look like not good. Months later, it only not look good but also, doesn't look like they really used the budget right. I thought there will be action from the first scene, as the manga and anime suggest, it was not.. First scene was all about carnage and seeing humanity very helpless. The set was just one town and no other towns or stages shown but it's just one stage. That's really a tight budget.
Second part, the special effects used, although it's quite promising but not neat, except for the blood and gore parts! And of course, how the titans eat the humans, I thought they will kinda cut that off due to general audiences. But they kept it yet not polished. Sorry for the spoiler, the very big titan only showed up for minutes and the one I like, the armor Titan was not even there. The breaking wall sequences was also not polished. How about the flying sequences? Hmmmm not that great because it's few and yeah, not detailed. Titans look scary but it's just you know its CGI. If they used like the effects in the recent Godzilla, or WETA type of effects, then that will really help the film. Add to that bad shots at night! Oh my... It's so dark (maybe because it's bootleg. hehe) and it's confusing.
Lastly, the cast! Lupin III suffered greatly because of the story and the pace but not really the actors. This film, the rest of the characters were not fit for the roles. Except for Takeda Rina who I thought she will do most of the action stuff because of her background but suprisingly she done a dramatic role and sorry, died! What! The next characters I liked, Mikasa and the Captain of the Squad, sorry that's the 2 members of the attack squad! hahaha Geez, cost cutting. Can't believe it!
Oh I forgot, I do understand they made the changes so they can fit the story into film and well.. Budget reasons? The changes they made, did not really help the film. I mean I hope they kept Levi's character instead of Armin who only shows like thrice in this film.. Mikasa's story became also surprising! And of course, from the first scene until how Eren became a soldier, also confused me and thought, they should have really planned for those changes. Eren by the way, I'm disappointed on how they put him in this story. I just liked him at the end.
By the way, thanks to dramanice.tv for the view! You really saved me 200 plus bucks.. hahaha I thought, great thing, I spent time and a little money to eat with my wave mates and no drinking. Few food but more laughs.. I enjoyed. Also, there was one scene that I could say, not only I laughed but kinda intrigued! Hmmmm that was hot. Almost but not quite to save the film. hehe Never that scene!
Will I watch the prequel TV series? Maybe... It's because of Ishihara, Takeda, Sakuraba and that another hot character.. hehe I'll just wait for them to load it up!
This film, I can say.. One of the worst adaptations. I hope US version will do justice for this which I think, they'll do right because the setting is more western. I did not know how this film became a japanese setting. I'll just wait for this to be available for keeps, with Lupin III because I kept the bad ones like Black Butler and Gatchaman. It was Gouriki's fault anyway. hahaha
I hope, they'll do good in the last part which is next month! Will I give them a chance?

Hmmmm siyempre di naman lahat napapanood ko eh maganda. There were some, let's say just watchable. hahaha Story was simple, Tokyo Metro Police was kinda hurt about a comment that their office has no female top official and they need a good PR for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
They created a new team, NS department, pagkakatanda ko New Service ata ibig sabihin nun, headed by a veteran detective Izumi and assembled her team leading by An (their somewhat called muse pero ok na detective din) with others. So, ayun na, solving crimes kahit natatapakan nila ang first division and there, in the end capturing the real criminal.
9 episodes of somewhat fun and action episodes. Wala naman sobrang galing dito except siguro yun last episode saka yun episode na about sa fast food employee na napatay. Yun lang natripan ko and others just ok or not good enough. Pero it's not all bad because the cast made their presence felt kahit yun chief na nagbuo ng team, ok yun role niya even his episode. Two characters stand out, one was Munesuke (played by Namase Katsuhisa, damn great supporting actor, mapa principal sa gokusen hanggang ngayon sa Doctor's affairs, galing! Veteran actor great!) at siyempre, may one of the new, ehem crushes An (played by Mizukawa Asami). I think first time niya magplay ng detective in a jdorama. I don't know. hehe Kahit di naman sobrang stand out yun acting niya, eh ok naman siya as lead and maganda talaga siya. Yun lang. hahaha Nag back track kasi ako ng mga series na naglead siya, at nakataon isa to at marami pang iba.
Well, sana naimprove nila yun mga cases dito, kung sana simple cases pero dapat matindi yun mga criminal pero parang hindi naman. Lalo na yun episode na manga writer na gusto lumipat ng city, weird story and bad ending. Geez. Kung fun story pala, sana medyo todo comedy na lang, not half comedy/fun then less action. One example na todo comedy, Kid's police! Bad trip, first episode pa lang nakita ko at nahanap, nakakatawa na! Kahit well, deadly yun mga criminal.
Sana ganun na lang ang route pero well, they did not do it. Tama lang na 6.8% ang rating niya, not suprising, pero nakakagulat eh after episode 9, aba tapos na! hehe Abrupt ending. Siguro low ratings and tight budget, tinigil na agad.
Anyway, still I'm gushed over Asami! Dating niya parang Red Scarlet, I don't know, just a beauty to watch. Ah bakit pala tokyo scarlet, hmmm nasa first episode. Nothing important kung bakit ganun ang title.
Not good. Almost a waste of time. Pero if fan ni Asami, not bad. =)
Too late for a review, 19 days later after last month. For the past weeks, eh just be loose at eto, back to normality. At least. Anyway, to sum up last month, it was chaotic for me. Tiring at higit sa lahat, I was shocked. All of the sudden, parang biglang ayoko na.
I can say, it's one of the dumbest moves pero after taking that leap, eh ok naman. I'll just think of other ways. More ways and better ways siguro. I was wrong all the time. However, it's my fault. Pagkakamali ko din.
Of course, I did hurt some people due to this pero I had no other choice as everybody around me or even me, starting to crumble. Naisip at naramdaman ko din na talagang may mali, at worse, after ko umalis eh parang may after effects pa. I don't know, that's what I felt.
Natapos na at ngayon, kaunti lang options ko just to survive. But thanks to some support eh motivated ako to do work pa. I just need to work fast and enough of being NEET for sometime. hehehe
Anyway, sa ibang post na lang yun. Sa ngayon, masarap makahinga na maluwag. Kahit may takot, eh nakapahinga naman pagkatapos na lahat. It's time to go back to the real work.
April, was really, let's say, searching month. Searching for the right path, or even sa crisis eh time to think how to survive and live the right way.
Failure was hard. Pero di ko naman ako makakaluwag if I did not fail.. I accept it and well...

Before I go to work, actually dapat this weekend.. I just can't believe what happened. All my good plans for the weekend went to naught. I'm quite upset.. You saw it right, upset.
Worse.. What a way to start the year.. Broke. hahaha I don't know.. This month, ok na but I was stuck by let's say bad luck. Damn luck. Sabon dito, kusot doon.. haay... Once I finished these hurdles, back to the original pace, for a while.
This month, actually sorry na di ko napost to agad sa January pero nareach ko naman yun target ko. Talagang something bad happened this weekend. Actually, ruined my rest sana. Anxiety raised up!
Dagdag pa ang pressure this year, well, I'll say more pressure. Later. Geez, kung kailan! Ergh.... After this cold month, sana medyo uminit naman sa Feb. Mahirap maligo ng sobrang lamig! hahaha I admit some days, I just don't want to take a cold bath. Kakatamad naman kung papainit pa ng tubig.
Well, I almost can say that I had a good month but January has 31 days, and those 30th and 31st days ruined it. Talking about last minute happening.
Oh, that's not all.. Mukhang basta. Let's say, savor the moment. That is an appropriate expression. It is. It will be.
Nahirapan din ako magsulat this month kasi siyempre di sanay but nung matatapos ko na ang target, aba, the feeling of finishing such crappy works excites me. hehe Sense of achievement kung baga. I just don't want to elaborate what happened this month more.
Next month, well.. I hope I won't write the same thing again. I want some improvement, better path, and yes..

DOTA! Para bumalik ang mga reflexes ko sa DOTA. Hehe Lalo na sa mga heroes na alam ko baka makalimutan ko na. Awa ng Diyos eh mukhang di naman. Naalala ko pa naman ang mga hero.
Surfing the net, as much gusto ko manood ng flicks ko, di ko nagawa kasi bubuksan ko pa computer and tapat pa sa kin, siyempre hahanapin ko sa HDD. So, ayun surf ng net na lang ginagawa ko, going to the usual sites.
Matulog at magisip. Not bad to do just to ease the freaking pain. Haha Actually, lahat na naplano ko for the present were the result of this combo. Siyempre, cannot move that much and do much. The good thing eh kahit papano, nakaramdam ako ng normal na pahinga at tulog in a short span of time.
Going somewhere, punta sa mall, pasyal dito, pasyal doon. Tambay with CRAP, going out with friends and well, usual places pala at siyempre churches. Nagawa ko lang to like I said, a month after I got well, operated. Pero yun mga unang lakad ko, grabe, di ako pwede tumawa! Hahaha Pain in the arse!!!!
Nood ng TV. Not really much but sometime eh no choice, napapanood ako ng Eat Bulaga, at yun ibang shows na di ko akalain, nasurvive ko panoorin. Hahaha Bad trip, wala pang masyadong basketball napanood. Nanood na lang ng iba.
Jdrama! Eto yun pinaka naaddict. Hahaha Siyempre, nakadiscover ako ng ilang site and some research on which shows to watch, ayun na. Di na natigil that time. Minsan, sa umaga na ko natutulog kasi sa iksi ng jdrama series, pwede isang pasadahan na to! Haha Dumami tuloy ang crush ko sa Japan. Hehe Mostly, nah same age ko, not those idols.. Oh please.. It is fun, and kinda enjoying it. =)
I know these things well, kinda normal sa nagpapahinga, pero pag sobra, malamang hindi. Instead of well, watching 9 straight hours ng jdrama or 5 hours of playing, or 4 hours of surfing the net, eh yun ibang oras nagawa ko sana in the other productive things. Productive activity such as well, exercise na dapat ginagawa ko na pero malamang delay because of this I need ko na magawa at di ko pa din ginawa nung pagaling na ko. Hahaha
Geez.. How about reading a lot of books? Kahit memorize books! Di ko din ginagawa kasi well, naaddict sa mga ibang bagay. Hehe Yikes..
Other chores such as cleaning or fixing things na may time nakalimutan ko na kasi sa katamaran at ibang bagay na ginawa ko. I admit, well kinda regret did not use my rest time wisely but I enjoyed it. Sabagay that year was kinda chaotic and hectic so I thought ok lang pala.
You need to have time for yourself and rest, do things that you can enjoy and well, maging masaya. Nangyari naman yun. Kaya kahit may pagsisisi, ok lang.. Masaya naman ako that time. Feel refreshed and determined to make things straight.
Well, now eh sa mga nilista ko sa taas eh talagang moderation na or at least controlled. Di lang new year’s resolution but it’s a must for me this year, due to I have things to prioritize than these things. Di naman sila mawawala at di ako masyado magfocus on them. I cannot delay or ipabukas ang learning, developing, reaching goals. Time to change..

Story is simple, eh etong si Lupin at iba pa, members pala sila ng the works, headed by a billionaire Brit na parang Robin Hood ang creed whatever, ends up dead noong naraid sila ng group ni Michael, si Jerry Yan ng F4. Tapos, ayun na, Lupin at Jigen, at well Fujiko, hinahanap nila si Michael para makaganti. Then, sinusundan pa sila ni ICPO inspector Zenigata. At habang naghahabulan sila at hinahanap yun kwintas ni Cleopatra, they discovered from the very start, kung sino talaga may pakana ng lahat na ito. At ako eh nagulat bakit ganun? hahaha
After more than 2 hours, I must say, it almost epic failed. Almost. Geez, parang Dragon Ball Z movie but nah, di naman ganun level. hehe What did Ryuhei Kitamura do good sa film? By the way, siya director ng Versus, hmmm Azumi not sure, ah Midnight train and recently, No One Lives. Ah, first of all the looks of the actors, mahirap siyempre kumuha na sobrang payat yet mabilis na Lupin, Shun Oguri, pwede na. hehe Si Asano as Zenigata is having a crazy time playing a matabang Zenigata. In the anime, payat rin siya mukhang malaki coz of the coat but here malaki naman si Asano, pero masaya siya at makulit as Zenigata. Pero pinakakuha si Jigen, at Goemon. Inside and Out, perfect sila sa casting hanggang dialogue. hehe Eto, Meisa Kuroki sa Fujiko, hmmm her face may angle na oo nga Fujiko, pero the whole movie, I call her conservative Fujiko. You know what I mean if you do watch yun anime, voluptous, vixen, dangerous, deceptive and loves guns. Wala siya yun first 2. hehe Sorry but ok lang siya. But still not satisfied. Hindi dahil mahirap maghanap ng ganun babae na Japanese. Well, sad to say, there is and the casting crew should have gone look further, marami at madali lang. hehe If the first 3 pwede madala sa acting and some costume, Fujiko should be eye candy, head turner at later yun acting. hehe
Ang isa pang nagustuhan ko, action scenes, not top notch pero enjoyable. Lalo na yun car chases and yun last part na kahit weird and almost like b movie, pero masaya. Ryuhei is indeed an action director. Oh I love the 2 women fighting. hehe How about Jigen vs. Goemon. Fun!
The sad parts almost made this film failed. Kaya pala ang una sabi ni direk when he got interviewed, he hope fans of the material will appreciate the film, pag may ganun senyales pala, medyo magingat na. hahaha
First, dialogue! I mean almost poor written, and mixed language?! Kaya pala sila nacast because they can speak some clear english. Weird but lalo na yun una, grabe nahilo ako kung ito ba talaga, japanese flick, english flick, chinese or international flick. I don't know.
Second, plot changed well lalo na yun una na may origin agad si Lupin which I think sa series rarely discussed or ang alam ko, magnanakaw agad ito si Lupin. Well, that changed sa film at may group siya. What? hehe I hope they just really followed sa anime na sila na apat, stealing and looting then sumabit type of story. Oh don't forget, yun mga twist and turns that well, not fun. A waste of time, especially yun main villain after what all he did, he is kinda lucky at the end. Erghh..
Third, unneccessary characters. Despite Jerry Yan eh scary siya dito at nagulat ako sa role niya, he is damn unneccessary. hahaha Nagpagulo from the original source. How about yun general friend ni Zenigata and that annoying hacker, and even the main villain. There are many di naman kailangan na character. I preferred Jerry Yan to be the main villain kasi sa una nakakatakot siya pero pagtagal, parang change of heart? Eh?
Lastly, well.. When you watch Lupin, any one episode, or anime movie, you get slapstick comedy, mystery, and action. All balanced, may sobrang kakatawa, tapos mapapaisip ka din, tapos may parts na serious at siyempre action din. This film, very very few comedic shots, mystery is not that challenging or well, twist din. Action is a lot, sa simula hanggang wakas ata, grabe, pero not top notch. So, yun ang nagkaproblem sa film. Lupin should be at least half fun/comedy/action piece, not more action, less fun and more serious. Geez.. Talagang kaunti pa nakakatawa at natawa pa ko sa unexpected character, Goemon?! hehe
Actually Lupin is more filmable and should be enjoyable unlike the other adaptations pero ito it's just did not work. I hope the next one, well iba gumawa at please spend more time watching Lupin the anime to really get what I mean or most of the fans, that's it's a fun film. Please kahit yun OST makuha man lang or how about make it hmmm 70's setting. Basta ayusin na lang next time. Not too comedic or action packed film, outrageous is a better word. hehe
And yes, please change the actress of Fujiko. She's a good actress though pero eye candy? Nah. Try for example, Asana Mamouru, wow. hahaha All you need to do is train her to act. Possible. At least yun eye candy effect, sure na. hahaha

I can't believe that as much I want to give at least good credit for this flick, it seems, it earned big. It fooled a lot of people as the box office reports says and the long line I saw here at SM.. Everybody was kinda ecstatic about it. Geez, anyway, I should have watched End of Watch instead.
Of course, everybody loves the first Taken, like me.. Can't deny the surprising action role by Liam Neeson about saving his daughter from human trafickers.. I thought, well a second one should be done, at least it's either Brian is into something in trouble again through a different situation or discover how he learned those "skills" from his past missions. Sort of a prequel..
Sad to say, none of them happened in this sequel. I am surprised that they claim it has a bigger budget which I felt not, it doesn't look like one.. Except maybe for those grenades, and a lot of car crashes and one explosion.
Well, destination was Turkey which I thought cheaper doing a flick there than in Paris.
The sad part was the plot itself, Brian and exwife was taken this time by the father of those kidnappers in the first taken and thinking of brining their corpse in their son's graves! For short, they somewhat want revenge. Oh well, another sad part as much Maggie Grace looks better this time, quite hot frankly, all she did was to run, get some clothes and drive like hell.. Then Famke Jansen, she did was scream, breathe, more breathing, fake dead and yeah, alive. Such beautiful women and good actresses wasted their well talents in this flick. I hope the writing and screenplay allowed them to do more.
Poor directing, as a good name shows as Olivier Megaton, it has a bad reputation of making bad flicks. Transporter 3, Columbiana and this one.. Luc Besson shouldn't give anymore damn scripts or projects for the mean time to this director. Let's say, Luc should go back into directing, action ones, not drama ones. Poor pace, less gore or not even blood, and yes, action scenes were fuzzy.. Even the car chase as well, maybe since the cars and SUV were high end brands, even the cab was a benz, the budget went to those cars.
Anyway, the only saving grace of this film was Brian, give credit to Liam Neeson. His moves still stands, going from the first Taken and I love what he said in the end, it made me laugh. It's like he is letting the main villain live, go home and stop the nonsense anyway since he can beat the hell out of them. If not, he will go on killing and he's tired of it. That was top notch acting with a poor script.
Well, I can't cry over that 180php was gone into thin air, not really that much. I rather watch well, the first one all over again and enjoy every scene at that flick. Not in this one.
Yes, sad to say, they are now thinking for a third one..
What will be this time? Maybe Brian's buddies will be taken this time and needs his help.

Yes, you are reading it right. I'm a transporter film fan, even I did not watch the short TV series. hehe Well at the first news they said that a new actor will act for the transporter, I was skeptic who will act this one. They also planned that to reboot the story. I don't what Besson is doing for his past films, even they were produced by him. I think the only one I can say successful film he produced, was Lucy. But that was not really good film, story wise.
