Hay, medyo inaalat ata as we move forward..
April - Hmmmm kala aalatin na ko sa work, pero buenas pa! hahaha Although something happened which at first kala ko mukhang kaya naman.. Hindi pala.. Mukhang kalbaryo pala. Naman. Nothing much at that month or well, nothing serious yet.
May - The end of the trial period, the question of getting regularized answered. I was! hehe Ako pa, iba talaga pag medyo effort ng kaunti sa work. Hehe At kung di naman buenas, last month of that freaking mid sh*t or midshift pala. hehe Last month na din for being in a team lead by no comment. hahaha Sobrang saya this month and maganda momentum towards June. Well, almost.
June - Marks my 30th year of damn existence. I enjoyed it at the most modest way, siyempre nandiyan ang CRAP with the help of Man of Steel! Which for me, one of the best of the year.. Tapos of course, all happiness comes with sadness.. Kaya pala medyo weird ang movement ng tiyan eh something is there.. Geez, mabuti na lang it found out not serious, however, that polyp thing needs to be removed.
It was short yet fun quarter but well, worse comes to worse.. Indeed.

flashbacks: The Last Boy Scout
Definitely, di ito film ni bruce willis which I haven't watch it. hehe Sa lahat ng pangaasar ng CRAP, ito yun nahihiya ako. hahaha Paano ba naman, the only reason sumali ako ng boy scout in HS was to avoid pathetic CAT. Patay ako kay Doc nito. hehe
pero nung sumali naman ako, di lang naman yun ang nakuha ko sa pagiging boy scout, marami pa. Una na dun siyempre ang respeto, siyempre respeto sa bawat miyembro ng squad, mapa maliit, or malaki, mabagal or magaling, eh sa squad pantay pantay dapat. Sunod eh loyalty, for the whole 3 years eh there were times na suko na lang ako or ayoko ko na, pero dahil na din sa turo ng boy scout at yun mga events na naenjoy ko, naging loyal naman ako hanggang sa last day namin. hehe Third is yeah, the people, yun team namin. I mean di ko akalain na magiging close ko some of my classmates at sa ibang sections pa. At makikilala ko yun isang PE teacher na akalain mo scout master. hehe A lot of interesting people lalo na yun mga higher level sa min, grabe yun, scary but fun.
Lastly, siguro leadership experience, I almost forgot, this is the first team I led ng squad, tapos ako naglead in some days ng flag raising saka ayun treasurer! hehe Narealize ko na dito pala ako nagstart ng ganun, lead the scouts to do stuff, order them tapos utos dito utos dun at marami pang iba pa. At talaga role model sa squad, with everything na dapat proper in front sa squad.
Marami ako di makakalimutan dito, kala niyo walang bugbugan dito.. Mayroon! Squats, push ups at naku, walang late sa morning assembly kung di exercise sa harap ng quadrangle. hahaha At di pa kasama yun sabon ng scout leader. Naku.. At nung camping, todo kain ng matipid, matulog sa bangko kahit yun iba may tent. Next night sa kahoy na mesa naman. hehe Tapos camping sa makiling at kahit sa skul din.. Yun types ng knots na nakalimutan ko na! hehe Even yun boy scout code and history crap..
Ang di ko nakalimutan eh that red neckerchief at ang tatlong daliring saludo. =) at naku, ang two words na tatak boyscout, Laging Handa! hehe

How did I end up here? Way down south of Metro Manila... hehe Maybe new scenery, fresh place or a breathe of fresh air or environment or how about better pay! It was indeed..
These were the times that I kinda lived care free attitude, financially and the whole being.. These were also the times that kinda chaotic. hehe Moving forward, after 6-7 years, this place became beautiful of sorts. Trees around the walkway in Northgate, then at the middle of it, circle of shops which are mostly food and one 711. There is a walkway with roof on it so if you're in a hurry before 5 mins of your shift under the rain, you can still make it! hehe
Traffic is way better due to the underpass.. The look of northgate way became better unlike those years before. So if you're looking for work and you're living near at these places well, don't look far. Here it is! hehe
Ah of course, this is one of my favorite places to work with, comes with some caution. Well, the only thing I can think of is if you're going to work at night or going home at night.. Please, just be careful showing off some valuable things especially riding in a jeepney. Great thing for me, I was able to avoid any mugging or mishap but others kinda unlucky. The whole Alabang Zapote Rd is kinda dangerous at the wee hours of night/morning, especially at the end of the road, near south station. Geez, don't go there especially at that market stop. Despite police visiblity, this road is very long, and there are a lot of spots where evil lurks. Just that, be careful unless you have a car. hehe
CVG (Alabang and now famous Nuvali)- Convergys houses at Alabang, Direct TV account which I don't know if its still there.. hehe Ah like Dish Network, this one is simply hell of a account. Pain in the arse, stressful, toxic and you kinda name it all. Well, another controversial account there is Optus, why? It came from a call center which is quite very familiar to me. It houses Optus LAD and prepaid service which you can speak in vernacular. If I got it right. hehe Of course, CVG is known for housing the toxic accounts, strict business code and conduct and sorts.. More of them when we go to Makati. By the way, Nuvali is at Laguna, and it houses suprisingly a lot of BPO offices, a new site.. CVG has one there and according to a previous employee there, it houses kinda premium accounts. Of course, stress is premium as well. hehe One account there, is kinda weird but clever, market research company, which give clients some information about a certain company for the purpose of acquisition or merger. Quite interesting.
Firstsource- I tried to apply for this company because I had a plan to come back at my sister's house if I did not pass my applications to other companies. Great thing it did not go through. hehe This is a new company situated at Northgate, it's an UK company doing outsourcing or Australian but you can check it at their website. Definitely, they are just a outsource company like CVG. CVG is located at the front of northgate while this one, way back, near Stream.
Stream - As they have centers in Shaw, Makati or in QC, well, this site I'm not sure if it still exist but definitely a lot left when it transitioned from eTel to Stream. Like some of my friends or former team mates. Geez. Anyway, I'll bash them when this one reaches my home turf at QC. hehe I have no idea what they have, well, one thing is for sure, pay is definitely lower than when they were Etel. hehe
GENPACT - This center is near Stream and yeah at the back of northgate. They sound another outsource company but they handle mostly GE accounts ranging from GE bank up to other GE accounts, I'm not sure if they handle a bulb account. hehe They used to be really a GE company but I think they were sold to become an outsource company. It used to house wachovia but due to financial meltdown in the US, they were gone. They still standing at northgate, they have a branch here at QC. I only know one batchmate used to work there, it was good but due to some management decision, she did not like it and left. If I were asked to apply here, hmmm there are many other centers out there. hehe
EGS - By the way, sounds new? Nope, they are the suprisingly old, coming from a merger between APAC and NCO/RMH callcenter which are both long standing call centers in Manila. Neither they've grown nor shrink, and decided to become one which is not very usual in the BPO industry. Maybe I'll explain it further when this one come to QC. Anyway, the account they have here is a medical insurance, which until now, not disclosed by my CG mate. hehe Anyway, what I heard from other people about this company, very messy because of the merger. Many are leaving, yet they recruit more. Very normal in this industry. But better find other centers.
Capital One - the most intriguing center in Northgate coz it used to be HSBC Alabang before. hehe Before, when they heard you came from this center, you're damn good! It is! hehe But due to financial crisis in the US and HSBC was slapped billions of fine due to laundering violations which was very embarassing due to the fact, we were always trained to be complaint against money laundering by the trainings and courses but well.. HSBC is kinda compromised that. They sold this site to Cap One. hehe I wrote a lot about this site and I told that it was the worst but time passed by, I heard they improved. hehe I discovered worse than them.. Cap One officially has one in house center here, but I'm not sure if they are really good especially they have US account, you know how hard it is! hehe
Well, these are some call centers to apply here at Alabang and yes there are some in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa which has Teletech and that directory KGB, I'm not sure.. Nuvali has CVG and soon IBM, not sure about that. Funny thing, until now, Northgate has the only BPO centers here, there are some in insular life building near Filinvest Mall, one notably a korean online teaching school. Oh, the AIG office which was formerly Philam Life subsidiary. As you can see, the only gate that has the most BPO offices are in Northgate, so I hope, in the future time, they will have all gates occupied with these kind of offices, not just Condos or specialty shops or restos..
What I love here is the proximity although traffic is sick especially in Christmas season.. hehe But most of the time, traffic is quite manageable as long you live house early.. Proximity from LP going to Alabang is only one jeep away. Then all the malls or restos you want to go is also here.. SM Southmall will be your second home. hehe Or choose from that all class Alabang Town Center, or if you want something different Filinvest Mall. Not to count that Molito part and the classy Ayala alabang village and other places sa south. Madrigal up to that Filinvest City is quite serene coz it has few tall buildings unlike in Makati or other CBD. You can run or breathe some air of it. Northgate itself is good by having some stores and yes, even Bellevue Hotel which I puked a lot. hehe
Schools, churches, hospitals are near and yeah everything you want to go is here. Of course I'm more connected at QC but because of these features of the city, I kinda love here. The people here? Damn fantastic.. And yes, south is beautiful. Many beautiful people! hehehe
I used to dream that if I want to have a family and be away? One of the locations I consider if I become successful, definitely here at the south. Yeah just avoid Paranaque due to flooding and more chaotic traffic, and weird roadways. Geez.. Even in LP, just don't be near Cavite part at Coastal because of traffic and quite far to Alabang or SLEX.
Don't forget if you're run out of funds and want to have a simple fun strooling time, there is Times, Metropolis and Starmall! =)

Kung Ako'y Isang..

Isang comment sa kin na natutuwa ako kahit papano sa boses ko eh pwede daw ako DJ or better voice actor. hahaha Every center napupuntahan ko, ganun ang comment sa kin. No training itong voice ko. hahaha Yabang!
Seriously, in the first place, in all God's gifts to me, why my voice is very low and bass type thing. Pinagkakamalan akong 40 pag nagsalita na ko. hehe Naalala ko, while I'm pursuing number 8, kala daw niya, this was first year college ha, tito daw niya. Wow.. Ganun na ko katanders!
Lalo naman pag bumibili sa tindahan, eh pwede daw ako announcer or something.. Ayos. Wag lang talaga sa kantahan, talagang kahit ano pitch, strategy or what, I'm a failure in singing. Kaya hanggang music fan lang ako. hehe
Siguro pag DJ ako, gusto ko yun medyo kinky na radio show, yun pang gabi. Not that papa Jack style. hehe I mean, yun style BNO or Brew rats but more intellectual, can be more sensual at some nights. hahaha Balance kung baga or one day puro kalokohan na lang.
Yun nga, siguro itong boses ko naging ganito kasi naman Joy Division ang number one band ko tapos ang lead singer nila, ganito ang boses, sobrang low and bass. Eh nung HS days, panay kinig ko ng substance CD, kaya yun.. Nagaya na.. At nung bata ako, sa sobrang kapapanood ng Anime, at Sentai shows, or even US cartoons, ginagawa ko yun dialogue o sigaw, naku lalo na sa laro sa arcade. Ginagawa ko yun special move na sigaw. hehe Lalo na pag magisa ko, yun lang ginagawa ko nung bata lalo pag walang laruan.. Di ko naman kaya babae na boses no. hehe
Well, pag DJ na, more on current events, opinions but let it be in a lighter way, wag naman yun very serious like in AM na kulang na lang eh magrebolusyon na! hahaha Or yun Tulfo style na kulang na lang sapakan na lang oh!! Yeah discuss everyday news, kahit sports pwede lalo na pag yun mga teams ko sa basketball ang pinaguusapan.
Tapos kung may films, or pop culture or kahit chismax sige! Di ako mauubusan niyan. hehe
At usually 5 days a week ang program ng DJ if you're kinda famous... Siguro one day na love topic or more than that. hahaha Then one day, nonsense stuff, jokes, green jokes, laglagan or asaran, yun lang. Maganda ito pag may guest! hehe Naisip ko nga, unlike other shows, gusto ko random guest. Yun ang guest ko di ko alam tapos ako yun magiinterview, spontaneous kung baga. Gulatan! hehe Trip lang but yeah that will be fun and challenging. Sana magamit ko kahit papano yun kaunting brit accent. hehe Kung maiintindihan nila ako.
Siguro ang panget lang sa work na to despite all the events, partying, meeting people and a bit famous at your own right eh pay na lang. I believe they only get paid by the hour and yeah it won't increase unless may part time ka. Gaya nung iba ginagawa they host in other shows, events or be a tv personality or sorts, be part of a scandal or make some noise by spreading gossip, yun lang basta yun nagpapasikat ka pa din.
Kaya yun trainer ko dati, di rin tumagal despite medyo sikat siya ayun trainer siya sa call center. By the way, I owe this accent from him.hahahaha I'm sure he's in a better corporate place now.
Anyway, yeah, you'll meet a lot of beautiful people. Men and women.. Kala niyo ha! Pero siyempre, wag din kakalimutan..

End of 1st Quarter
Quite surprised, whole year round, I missed this kind of posts! hehe Medyo makakalimutin ako pero ok lang.. Medyo natatandaan ko pa naman ang nangyari for the first quarter of this year. Let's look back, oh God I hope I'm right. hehe
January - start of the rule na 10 posts lang per month which is working wonders for me. Not really stressed of making rushed posts. hehe Pero yeah nakapunta kay Ate tapos maganda takbo ng OKC, tapos kakabad trip na shift di dahil sa tasks, alam mo na kung ano yun. hahaha Well, this one was better than last year but still not a good start.
February - Birthdays came and siyempre ingat pa din in a night shift. Better than January and maraming delay at nakakapanood na ng film fest every week.. Marami pa akong ginawang mga errands pero yeah, that time not health conscious. Hoped a better month coming after this.
March - It was her birthday siyempre. hehe Pero more than anything, maaga ang holy week at ok naman sa work. Decided to really make the Ring! posts every other month. Kapagod talaga hanggang ngayon.. Ok naman pa ang MIA nun, wala pang talo noon. hehe Started to buy equipments for that excercise routine and meeting friends, di naman malungkot ang month na to, except of course some struggles pero wala naman major. Yeah, still hoping for that new computer.
This quarter was not really bad, I can say steady and blessed.. I'm happy na going to the next quarter ok na sa working side ko or myself but some circumstances seems to happen for a reason..

January - start of the rule na 10 posts lang per month which is working wonders for me. Iron Maiden
No more electric fan focusing in my CPU. No more wishes that my CPU will run. At higit sa lahat, wala ng freezing windows. hehe Well, after a tedious installation, pero may problema pa... I feel relieved that after 7 long years, I have now a new computer! It doesn't look Iron pa, pero Maiden naman na sa specs. hehe
It is built around i5 3330, 4gb of RAM with heat spreader, 500GB black WD HDD, Gigabyte motherboard which is very suprisingly performer ha despite mura. hehe 1GB of video card which makes gaming or watching movies a breeze and addictive. No more floppy drive.. At isang dvd writer from HP which does at least basic task. hehe
A case na medyo maasahan at ang power supply which maasahan pa for now. hahaha In the next months, I'll buy a more stable power supply. 20 inch LED monitor na ngayon ko narealize pwede na pala, or the max is 21, kasi pag 23 na.. Sayang lang. hehe
I'm very happy with this pero siyempre may letdown, my problem with the HDD, which sana maayos ng aking reliable friends. hehe What I really love in this computer? USB 3.0, na eto ang rason kung bakit natagalan ako magdecide.
Imagine, almost 200 dvd's of well, movies and stuff transferred to my external 1TB in a matter of 1 week lang. I mean 1 to 2 hours a day of transferring tapos bago mag 1 week, tapos na!!! hahaha 4GB of data transfer is only 5 mins, unlike sa 2.0 na around 20 mins yun. 700MB or 1GB matter only for 1-2 mins.. hehe Grabe, talagang panalo ito. Kahit di 3.0 yun transfer ko, napakabilis, siguro add 1 min from 1-2 mins, ok na.. Next build, lahat ng port 3.0! hehe
As much I want to go for i7, tight budget and yeah kailangan ko na maglipat ng file. hehe But that's fine, i5 3330 eh sulit, lalo na sa kuryente.. Maganda talaga sa intel kung bibili ka ng mas updated na processor kaysa yun dating i5 na malakas sa kuryente, according sa mga tests ha. I can say, better talaga yun mga bago labas. Parang smartphone lang.
Nakakatawa, pag kuha ko ng computer, sobrang natagalan ako sa pag install kasi iba na pala ang start up ng system ngayon. Install lahat ng drivers muna tapos OS, tapos etong warcraft 3 na sakit sa ulo na sa huli, tapos na! hehe
Ah I want to thank first of all, PCNET Miles, na di lang accommodating, kung di very helpful at marami ako natutunan with such a low price. Value talaga all through out despite no repair. hehe Ok lang, software repair naman kailangan pero quality service and binebenta at maganda free delivery pa! Malapit pa samin. Ayos! hehe Next built and upgrades definitely sa kanila na..
Ah all the websites that involves reviews ng mobo and processors, bit-tech.com and cpuboss.com, ah cnet.com or even simply product websites! As much I want Asus kaso mahal.. Gigabyte way to go, next build kayo ulit! hehe Muntikan na ko mag AMD but due to it's hungry for power, eh intel talaga. For speed and efficiency, Intel talaga, i5 for sure multitask and sorts.. i7 kung may pera ka for high end computing and stuff, i3 eh budget ka talaga. Sa wakas, feeling ko yun SAP na trial program na mayroon ako dati, mukhang running smooth na dito. hehe At yun migration ko of my blog to a better site is easier and now realizing na kaya na unlike sa dating computer na naghang na pag nacopy paste pa lang. hehe
Pero AMD is for really budget conscious people, kung AMD ako, malamang yun budget ko pang 8 core na nila. hehe Ang tanong lang handa ka na ba sa bill mo sa meralco? hehe At more fans, madaling uminit pero I still refer AMD kung graphics wise lalo na pag walang video card, AMD can fill that gap, in a much cheaper price. Yun nga lang, medyo antay antay na lang sa pagload! hehe Pag may patience, go with AMD.
Saka yeah, next one and a half year or 2 years, another build will come. Maybe I will not call it Iron Maiden, a different one. hehe May gagamit naman nito pag tagal lalo na lumabas na yun haswell processors, drooling with more efficient processors and powerful din!

Well, say goodbye to my punishing fire.. Despite a lot of help na ginawa ng punishing fire, these past days, ayun, pang film viewing na lang. hehe Sad but true.. Time to let go of that one.
In this computer, like a Maiden, once you're in.. Can't get out especially with Yui Koike staring at you! =)
