End of 1st Quarter

January - ano ba, maganda pasok ng taon. hehe Ok ang stats ko pero di sa team. hehe Sorry. Dapat makapag excercise na ko kaso may nangyari. Bad trip. Nadelay na naman. Mahirap mag alaga. hahaha Tapos, wala naman kakapanibago pero biglang may invitation to do something about the company's paper. Wow. I don't know what to do. First time eh. hehe Nothing notable or great thing, wala naman masama nangyari until...

February - Hay, ewan ko kung ano nangyari sa kin. Work, bahay, even my internet! Malas, di buenas, lahat na! Anak ng tinapa. Of course, isama mo pa yun medyo hectic schedule. Well, di ko alam kung ano dapat gawin pero mabuti eh buhay pa. hahaha Kinda hate this month and need to move on. Well hope for the best. 

March - Kinda suprising month, hectic sa work, OT crap and study time. Speaking of study time, ayun nasubsob na ko. Parang college lang at mas mahirap pa. Bwisit na accounting! Kailangan pag aralan ulit at ang mahirap na mga modules ulit. Ano pa ba? Hmmm nakabawi sa stats, kaunti lang. Tapos kinda decided to make drastic changes.. Well, due to outside factors, well need to move. Mabuti na lang mabait si TL. hehe Of course, may inaalagaan pa din at eto.. Searching.. Well, tapos na din ang iron Maiden at complete na. Wala nang patayan to. hahaha

Despite delay sa excercise, ay may maganda naman nangyari this first quarter. Next quarter will be kinda serious.

It's not done yet!

I can say, 50% na mga gusto ko makuha na flicks nakuha ko na. Dumami lang kasi sa kakavisit sa mga trusted movie sites. hehehe Imdb.com addict. hahaha

Siyempre wag kalimutan ang mga reliable sites. Ehem alam na.

Still 10-15%  pa din ang number kung sa lahat na nakuha ko eh napanood ko na. Wala pang sa one third. Lalo ngayon busy sa ibang bahay and errands. Nadelay na din ang mga film fest ko. 

Pero, pag nabawas bawas na ang mga pest.. Kailangan makita na yun mga flicks. hehe 

Toshiba na yun target ko na external HDD, 500gb muna. Tight budget. Pero pagtagal, malamang kukuhan ako backup na HDD, 3TB na para matapos na yun backup sa DVD. hehe Mahirap kasi magayos ng mga DVD na files. Marami at magulo. 

WD is kinda good, as reviewed pero one news came out na Toshiba HDD na ang most reliable and stable due to the report na less instance na magcrash na HDD. WD eh nasa gitna at mabuti di na ko Seagate fan. hahaha

Well, I'll keep getting the films I want to watch, more classics, indies, world or art or indie flicks around the globe, pinoy flicks which are always hard, controversial ones which kinda gives you a thrill. hehe Memorable siyempre at ngayon, Anime siyempre, classic series, OVA and movies! Japan flicks, kinda drawn to it which I'll explain later. =)

My library is still one file, thanks sa excel, naayos yun problem ko sa classifying. hehe

Para pag may humingi, pili na lang ha.

Kung Ako'y Isang..

(DOTA hero)

Kakalaro ko lang ng DOTA, apatan na to. hahaha 

Naisip ko, well sa mga di alam ang DOTA. Defense of the Ancients. Isang mod sa warcraft 3 na puro hero lang. Actually nakakaadik kasi sa daming hero at siyempre team play. Dinaig pa ang counter, battle realms, kahit Ragna. Kahit ngayon ata, may mga MMORPG, at diablo III or kahit ano pa, eto na ang panalo. 
Naisip ko paano kung nasa DOTA talaga ako? Sinong hero ako! hahaha Or pwedeng gumawa ng isa.
Sa dami ng gusto kong hero, or yun nagamit ko na, kulang ang isang post na to. 
Deretcho na nga, siyempre ang pinakagusto ko na gagamitin.. Although mas marami pang malakas dito, eh nasanay na ko at kampante na ko eh.

Terrorblade! Bulag kasi siya, parang ako. hahaha

Hindi dun, gusto ko kasi sa abilities niya. May zeal na self healing at higit sa lahat since gusto ko nagmamadali, increased attack speed din.. Tapos metamorphosis, kasi kala mo mahina, pagnatransform eh lintek napakalakas! Kahit sandali. Deceptive kung baga. One of my hmmmm personalities. hehe Refraction, parang may pampagulo lagi na mga shadows. Ako hmmmm pampagulo lang naman ako lagi. hahaha 

At higit sa lahat, pinakamadaya na level 6, sunder, pagmatetegi na, lapit sa kalaban, palit tayo life! hehe Siya ang talo, ako buhay na buhay. Sa real life, hmmmm parang kabaligtaran. hehe Nanghihina ako eh.

Siyempre sugod ako lagi as usual tapos pag medyo alanganin, edi siya din mabilis tumakbo, minsan medya medya din. hahaha Minsan pwede din maduwag. Takbo, palakas, sugod ulit at may mga items na pampalakas. Kung pwede Sange and Yasha, tapos basher na agad, at ang fave ko, manta style! Para kahit 3 pang kalaban sumugod, kaya ko. 5 shadow ako eh. hehe No match! Bad trip, peste kasi ang liit ng buhay kaya sa una, medyo suntok sabay takbo muna! hahaha

Saka gusto ko yun mga dialogue niya, isa dun eh "No challenge" "How Dare to face me?" Kung tama rinig ko. hehe

Gusto ko din yun sa pagkabilis niya, nakakahabol din. Parang ako, gusto ko habulin yun mga gusto ko. Kaso minsan nakatakas pa ang kalaban. hahaha

Sa daming hero na gusto ko gamitin. 

Dito na sa favorite ko. Astig pa naman yun dating niya, long wings tapos weird dangerous blades.

Pero mas gusto ko pag nag metamorphosis pa. Black, dark, deadly!

almost gone: Typewriter

Wala na yun isang tindahan dito ng typewriter... At ang nagiisang lugar na nakakita ko may typewriter eh yun sa office ng Dad ko. hehe Manual at electric typewriter! 

It's not only almost gone, goner na talaga ang typewriter. I won't be surprised kung wala na sa schools ito unlike my days. Old days.. Tuwing iniisip ko yun mga typing class dati, sobrang natatawa ako sa excercises. Nakatakip yun typewriter ng folder. We were trained to type without looking sa typewriter. Kaya ganun, sobrang sakit sa una, lalo nung HS na kasamang nakaabang na pamalo ng titser. hehe Di naman pinapalo, pampagulat kung baga.

Pero dahil sa excercises and typing classes, at matindi ang effect sa batch ko ha, marami sa min mabilis magtype without looking at the keyboard/typewriter. Lalo naman sa kin, for example etong blog na to, di ko tinitignan kahit backspace, alam ko mag edit. At yun words per minute, from 45, 55 tapos ang last test, eh 65wpm na. Ewan ko kung accurate yun typing test pero yun ang lumalabas. hahaha 

Laking tulong yun excercise sa pagiging CSR ko, sa AHT and stuff, kung di ako marunong magtype, ang taas siguro ng AHT. Sa blogging, kung di ako marunong magtype, aba, napaka kaunti siguro nagawa ko posts or worst, di na ko magblog. Wala na kayong mababasa ngayon. 

Marami naman reason kung bakit nagdown ang typewriter pero ang pinakamatindi sa lahat.. Technology. With tablets, desktop computers, or kahit laptop, dun palang parang nawala na silbi ang typewriter. Siyempre sino ba naman ungas ang magdadala ng malaki at mabigat ng typewriter sa coffee shop para magtype ng paper at magdadala ng eraser or worse yun nagkakalat na pambura na tawag eh liquid paper!  hehe 

Unlike sa computers or lalo na laptop, na di lang pangtype, kung hindi maglaro, manood and magsurf! Less maintenance pa, di nagstuck ang computer unless hardware or software na sira.

Pero kahit ganun ang sinapit ng typewriter, the best pa din siya pangtrain sa typing, kasi sa computer comfort na eh. Di mo mararanasan na magdiin ng pindot kasi kung hindi, di lalabas yun sulat. Sa computer kahit di madiin lalabas na sinusulat mo. Saka yun pagbilis ng type, yun lipat ng daliri from one letter to another in the most fastest way, mas natuto ako sa typewriter. Sa DOTA, kaya walang hot keys dito. Memorize ang short keys. hehe Saka may silbi pa din ito sa mga notaryo sa tabi tabi. hehe At if no electricity, aba lahat balik typewriter na lang kung mangyayari yun! hahaha

Well, I just hope kahit pang museum na lang, typewriter still exist. 

Besides, this was one of the things that skill wise sa typing and writing stuff.. 

Made me better, this thing that I'm very grateful having in life. =)

Sa wakas, nakakasulat na ko ulit. hehe 

Ngayon, medyo naghahabol na ko sa accounting subject. Mahirap pala ang mag self study. hahaha Sabagay di naman madali yun accounting classes ko wayback college.

I need to go back of course sa excercises sa SAP para masanay na. Di muna ko mag certify kasi mahirap pala, kailangan mag OJT sa course ng isang project. Pro bono. hahaha Pero that might change.
Summer is coming pero umuulan, I don't know why.

NBA season is coming to close, pa playoffs na.. Makakaabante kaya ang teams ko? 

Ah, at last, Iron Maiden is complete. Looking tough! Kahit isang linggo naka on, walang problema. hahaha
Bad trip ang PBA, Alaska malaska, tapos yun ROS in a loss, parang di pa nakakamove on sa talo. Bwiset!!! Ok lang, basta malas din ang Ginebra. hahahaha

All I can say, for the next weeks, mukhang I'll be more busy and decisive. I hope it works.. =)
Hmmmm yun excercise di ko matuloy pa, tuwing gagawin ko, lagi may sisingit na gagawin or something.. Bad trip! 

Can't wait for Sin City 2! Pero after watching 300 Rise of an Empire, mukhang babaan lang ang  expectations. Pero feeling ko mukhang maganda pa din.. Kaya siguro si Robert Rodriguez eh medyo palpak in the past flicks, eh baka dito sa makabawi with Frank Miller. 

Matagal na din ako di pa nagkakapost sa FB, well, di talaga ako ganun. Bihira, just staring those messages, pictures, and news, chismax. hehe Envious, or somewhat happen to see most of them na dati eh medyo di pinalad but as time goes by, everybody is moved on and became successful.

(Part Three)

Well, I think I'm not seeing the end point of this part.. This city is such a big place.
CVG One - Convergys has a lot of sites, actually after acquiring Stream/eTelecare, they became the largest call center in this country. Rivals won't even think matching their number, just the centers alone, this company outnumbered everybody. Like combining the next 3 big call centers alone, it won't match Convergys number of sites. I only took their entrance exam once, after I graduated in 2004, they have computer tests, and I did not even reach their initial interview. Good grief, great thing I was not able to be in this company due to some reasons. I'll tell them in a later time. 

This biggest site they have well, one of the two sites they have in Makati, I don't know what accounts they have here. Definitely an US Account they have, and life is alive in this place at night. I have rumors that one of their accounts is Citibank collections, such as loans. Ironically, Citi has an inhouse call center here which I'll explain later.  Like I said in the previous posts, for beginners, go for this company as a first job, and as you go along and for veterans as well, get away from this company and find a better one. You will find a better one after this. 

PBCOM tower - Before you get here, you'll pass the buildings of Security bank, Standard chartered, PLDT and another rundown building which houses an A Store and informatics. This is a short list which companies are in this kinda very tall building. First one is Citibank has an inhouse center here which holds US accounts and their Australian accounts. Beware for those who has bad debts with Citi, they can't apply easy here unless you agreed to have a payment plan to pay up your debt. hehe Their offer is good, but as usual, toxic work. So if you want to have a big offer and you can bear a toxic environment, then go to JP Morgan instead.

Stream ah became Convergys due to the buyout. Well, here houses I don't know tech support account, and definitely their recruitment will be changed because of the consolidation. I remember, one of the accounts they have before was dell outbound sales. I don't know if they continue scamming ah hmmm selling. hehe 
Daksh/IBM that will be Concentrix, if the rumors are true. hehe Daskh is an indian company which IBM bought it. IBM recently agreed to sell all it's call center sites to Concentrix. It's weird but it may be true. Concentrix, as I know, Dish Network is their account. I heard they offer 17500 as basic pay, which is way above 13000 in ePLDT wayback 2005. However, you will be the customer service representative for all their queues, so you will do sales, tech support, billing and crap. No way! hehe

Robinson's summit tower -  Around 3 buildings after PBCOM, you will pass this good looking building. I'm not sure how many centers/BPO residing there but 2 centers are prominent.
Sykes Asia that now houses an US dental account, I forgot it's name but definitely that's their account. I was laughing from a story of my former team mate, trainers having a hard time training trainees? hehe Poor facilites and crappy pay scale. However, one shocking story.. I did apply in this center once, the former Sykes site at Quezon Ave. I went through a very strict security check like scanning in a terminal. I don't know why but there was a story about this reason.

I got this story from a former trainee, the reason that this center is very strict nowadays was that new year eve's incident. There was a shooting incident in this site. The reason for the shooting? Crime of passion.. The one who got shot they say was a mistress or a dude. An aldulterous one. So, yeah right at the spot, assilant shot the rep. I don't know if the victim was alive or what, but very tragic. That was the reason making Sykes kinda placed a very tight security. Very weird or unsetlling how a gun went through Robinson's guards and what more in the floor. Geez..

HP solution services, HP known as a computer builder leader, and server, printers and some IT products. Yet having a solution services is one of their top money making ventures. HP has also a controversial inhouse call center, which is in Mckinley. I'll tell why controversial. hehe Although if you are a professional, especially a SAP/accountant user, try applying here. They have good benefits, but due to the high management ruckus like falling revenue and wrong decisions, and some downsizing, don't go here, unless you want a first work experience. hehe

flashbacks: hey, Chill!

Weird ito, natandaan ko lang ito noong isang araw.. Listening to the song party at 802, and biglang naisip ko.. How's Chill? hehe I don't know bakit siya naisip ko but anyway..

Chill is a pinay rapper which ngayon nakita ko sa google, umitim siya ha.. Pero feeling ko pinay pa din. haha May fil am accent eh.

One of the fondest moments in high school, I don't know if my batchmates still remember, actually di ko sure kung second year or third year ito, pero never forget such event. hahaha Such innocence awaken.. 
Sayang, natapon ko yun card or invite for the show, parang nagbayad pa ata kami.. But wala kami alam or sorts about the singer, hell with rap at those days. No clue..

The day came at sa class no idea what will happen but parang may feeling kami na ok ito! Show started then Chill came in, as she was introduced. Nakacap tapos wearing a jacket then some sort jogging pants, basta usual rap girl get up without the bling. 

Then she sang one song which I don't know what it was. hahaha Then another one kung mayroon, pero after that, eto na. The last song eh ang title eh the same name ng post na to. Then, Chill started to remove her cap tapos revealing some of her, ehem assets.. hahahaha It's like a sheep feeding to a pack of wolves.  Namulat ang pagiging manyak ng mga innocent HS boys!

Yun audi sobrang nayanig sa sigaw ng all boys! Kulang na lang lahat pumunta sa stage. hahaha Parang after that show, naban si Chill sa LSQC. hehe

Well, for me, my eyes kinda stared long enough at such beautiful sight.. 

Lahat ng taga audience after that day, sobrang saya at ayun, namulat. 

Through the years, well, nasundan ko pa siya sa FHM. Nakakagulat nga, at least in FHM she kinda displayed her figure. I can't believe she is down right beautiful and hot. hahaha

Well, suprising fact na naging ehem, part siya sa company ni Andrew E, kaya pala rap ang music niya plus she kinda show up in some Andrew E's flicks. Thanks to Viva Cinema. haha Payat pa siya noon.

About her music, well, she can rap and sing well, now wow she's self proclaimed queen of rap and yeah, she became dark. 

Yun lang, until now and finished writing this post, I still clueless why I remember her.

Fade in a Decade

As my resume says, March 25, 2004 was the day I graduated in school. That was the day I started learning the hardest lesson.. Living Life!

Looking for a job, planning what to do best in my life, things to do to enjoy it.. All of those circumstances, always going through my head. 

10 years later, I'm kinda started all over again.

Well, however I don't regret or really frown whatever happened in the first 10 years of after graduation. I did stupid and pathetic things financially. I missed some important things getting done. I only had a complicated relationship which ended sour. I quite transferred a lot of companies as health deteriorates due to frentic work schedule. I only got the things I liked recently, hmmm around years later! A lot of events happened in my family that were kinda difficult. Friends also dealt some losses which were harsh but able to recover. My family is still healthy, loving and supportive.  

Despite all these letdowns, what I am grateful for those lessons, as I moving forward at those failures or mistakes. For the past 3 years, well, when I became closer to God, not rushing into things, more time to decide for important decisions, and most importantly, knowing the truth in life. Don't forget of course, I know I have a lot of friends but after graduation, I lost contact for a lot of friends, yet I've known who are my real and close friends are.

People around me changed.. Some changed for the bad or worse.. Some changed for simply the best for them. One former classmate of mine has already 4 kids. hahaha Most of my closest friends remain single like me. Great thing I did not marry as I originally planned before. 

Life simply changed so fast that I still remember things in the past so clear, like it happened yesterday. Even living a simple life, I'm quite relieved that I'm still here, family, friends and of course Him. Nevertheless, I encountered some health problems, I'm now going into healthy living. I'm now sober for quite a long time. Now, let's make a change or let's say transformation for the course of the year, inside and out. 

I love this life! Definitely, even I'm having struggles, but I'm not dishearted, or demotivated. Nothing will hold me back, especially at this coming of age. 

I know success might be far fetched, but what is important.. 

Life should be enjoyed with happiness!

Success is achieved not only by having a lot of everything.. 

But having a lot of healthy relationships with everybody.

A determined me is starting to rise. I can't wait to meet him. 

In the next decade, I know, some things might happen again.

New events might come and go. New challenges arise.

New difficulties passing by.

New opportunities just passing through.

Some irreversible life changes might happen.

But one thing is for sure..

Life never fades even decades past.

300: Rise of an Empire

What happened when the bravest 300 spartans led by the great King Leonidas sacrificed their lives to save Greece from tyranny and slavery?

This might be the answer. Don't forget how Xerxes became or proclaimed himself God King. Who led Greeks to fight over this conquering empire? 

I was in a mad rush to really watch this sequel despite not so good reviews or previews. I also decided to use my globe points to have the price of ticket low. 

Hour and a half later, I'm relieved because of two things. I used the discount wisely to lessen the agony, and the reviews were right. hehe
It's a pre/sequel at the same time. Simple story, it shows the first invasion of persian empire and how Themistocles rose to the occassion, defeated the invasion. It also shows how Xerxes was deceived by his lead naval commander, the beautiful and cunning Artemisia to charge the empire of conquering countries and attack Greece again. It also shows, unfortunately with an abrupt ending how all Greeks unite and start to defeat the Persian Empire. 

That's it. The story is much more wider unlike the famed predeccessor, however nothing notable about it. 
The great things about this film? First the visuals, this is more detailed than the first film. From the flashes of war torn Greece, the first scene of attack running through mud, the naval war attack scenes despite enormous amount of CGI used for water.  Slow motion scenes were used correct in some scenes. Another great thing, hmmmm despite 7 plus years from the first film, actors from the first film did not look old or I don't know how they done it but they look indeed just happened yesterday. Point of example, Xerxes. 

Last great thing, Eva Green stole the film. Her character was made perfect as the backstory worked and of course, the actress gave life to a very very mad woman. That's why despite her beautiful stature, no men dare to take advantage of her because they know what will happen for such defiance. hehe Wow, I can't wait to see her at Sin City 2!

Not so good things at this film. The director tried to really have a sequel or copy what Zack Snyder did, but he failed. Actions scenes were not clear, too much use of CGI blood, and most of all, you want to see how Greeks stand together soon to finish off the empire, but like I said, it was abrupt. To be continued. 

It has also too much dialogue and character devolpment was kinda lame for the lead athenian army or most of the characters. Themosticles is somewhere between brave and stupid. Brave charging forward but when one small thing fails, he's confused and his acting or his character has that one expression for the whole film. He's tired and exasperated. Although what I like about him, he's quite very very lucky. 
Editing was kinda poor as you what to see more of previous 300, they deviated that and it focuses more of the development of the empire as the title suggest yet indeed not really interested of that. 

I really also found lack of depth in the distressed state of the lead army. I mean the feeling of soldiers from the start, they just want to fight and not brave enough unlike the first 300. Despite they will die, but you know the feeling they will do this for the many.
In this film, I don't feel that. Sad indeed.

One thing, but it's not the films fault. MTRCB's fault. They cut two scenes, one of them is important, and that scene I knew when you have Eva Green in the film. Not because a trademark but it's just most of her films has this. hehehe

R-16 then cut that scene? What for? 

Well, I thought this film is best when this was included in the first film and that first film make it like 3 hours. Editing will be hard but for me, that will be better like in one scene spartans are fighting then athenians are fighting at one side. Then there might be a scene Artemisia and Leonidas meet. hehe Naval scenes back to back with the hot gates fighting scene, then Zack is the director of that one epic, that will be awesome. That is a full grand story then the sequel will be like the fall of the empire. 
Simple right? But well..

They went to the money making route.

Bad route. 

It's like blood flowing in the Aegean Sea.
