After KCON, at eto sakto eh.. Oh God.

Alam ko naset ko yun alarm but nalate ako nung Monday!! Kung kailan patapos na ang month, dun pa nadale! hehe

Pagpasok ng work, grabe naman ang mga tasks!!! Ano ba to? Bakit matrabaho lahat! =( Edi yun na, at pinakamatindi sa lahat, may auto fail!!! Eh sabi ni Bro. Bo nung last talk niya, accept pain then you will achieve progress, prosperity and others..

Wag naman agad agad Lord! hehe At first, siyempre demotivated pero pagtagal until I finish that day, I just pray that ok lang yun Jesus, bawi na lang sa December. hehe

Painful that Monday passed but that's life. Work and how it went for this month. Ang ganda ng simula but as weeks goes by, it became hard and sometime unlucky. Di na naman ako nakapagstart ng excercise! hehe There were days I can't forget, birthday lang ni Gerro grabe, very eventful. hehe Tapos adjustment na nandito na siya sa amin. Then sa work, pahirap na pahirap pero mabuti talaga magaling TL and mga team mates ko. Nakakasurvive pa kami. hehe

Asikaso sa ganyan, lalo na si Gerro. Tapos nagipit pa! Niyek.. hehe DOTA therapy to ease the stress or other things that bother  me. Siyempre mga times na sobrang hina ka na asking for a lot of rests.

KCON was great this year!!! Empowered! =)

Ah, PBA start na, kaso mukhang alat ang ROS and Alaska, pesteng Ginebra to ang lakas! hehe NBA, well.. Mukhang record si DRose, youngest MVP, after 2 knee injuries, baka youngest MVP to retire na din. hahahaha Buti na lang di ako Bulls fan. Geez, yun ang may kasamang malas.

This month, I can say na spiritually blessed ako despite troubles. Very tiring month, very crazy month. Kulang na lang, ako na nabaliw. hehe Pero thanks to him, tapos na ang month na to.

December will be like more budget. Hehe Marami kasing araw na kailangan gawin at finish important errands. Walang sweldo sa LOA. Tapos eto na yun month na more reading talaga, or studying kasi magstart na ko ng training. Time to finish what I've damn started. hehe

Pero hahanap muna ako ng araw na talagang makakapahinga at makapagplano kasi lahat nag iba na.

I just lift these struggles to Jesus. =)

Sunday, God's day.. Day of worship and celebration! Indeed..

Great thing di masyado matrafic. Great thing may budget pa. hahaha

Anyhow, this time, sobrang aga ko naman sa SMX. Last year, I had a promise that the next KCON, di na sa singles stream or class whatever.

However, this year, parang no choice. hehe Lalo na sa Sunday classes for the day, ala naman pumunta ulit ako sa faith. Inner healing. Or worse married! hehe Or single blessedness, which I don't feel talaga.
No choice eh. Naman..

First class was about how to enjoy life while searching that special someone. Discussed by Sis. Junie Romero from SFC and Bro. Jan Silan, the Makati feast builder from Makati. From a serious start until the kinda fun part. Honestly, parang all they have discussed was not really striking to me. Siguro halos half of the discussed eh nagawa ko na, or nothing new... Anyway, let's pass that part.

Second class was from Ardy Roberto, I thought the same Ardy last year in that great singles stream.. hehe Another speaker was Miriam Quiambao. When I heard yun news or announcement na she's engaged to the guy, I never thought na sila pala magsasalita sa conference. hehe Saktong sakto.

Anyway, Ardy's part was quite short but great thing because at first, quite skeptical who is he and sorts, pero in the end, aba ayos siya! hehe Kaso due to time, he needs to make his part short.

Well, sayang di ko nakuha yun libreng book niya, but I'm planning to buy well, that bestseller of his. The next part was touching. Fellow Thomasian, and let me say, panalo si Miriam ha. hehe Beautiful.. Dating beauty queen talaga. Isipin mo nasa UST lagi ang ganun, ang ganda naman talaga sa UST! hehehe Touching because what she shared despite it's about her life, eh may order naman, great pace at kakagulat yun ibang revelations niya. Lalo na yun part na nadepress pala siya after that divorce. And some mishaps sa showbiz dealings, nascam pa.. Sabi ko, grabe ang nangyari sa kanya.

Jesus saved her thru his words, at naging focus na lang siya to Jesus' promises. =) Indeed, kung ano nawala sa kanya, ayun very fruitful na siya ngayon. Mukhang blooming pa. hehe Kulang na lang talaga eh kasal between her and Ardy. Ok din sana yun story ni Ardy, very interesting lalo na yun part kung bakit siya nasingle ulit. Talagang kung sa kin nangyari yun, parang nawala na lahat sa kin. =( But in God's grace, two broken people, come into one full loving relationship..

After that uplifting class eh wala nang lunch lunch. hehe Pwesto na for the holy mass and the plenary feast session. It's the first time I saw si Cardinal Tagle, and I can say, very youthful and straightforward siya magpreach ha. Magaling nga siya.. No wonder he's the best one we can send and represent for us sa Vatican.

Holy Mass ended then some entertainment came in with UE Chorale which were good, Top Suzara, K5 then worship, tapos another powerful talk from Krish  which was about having a relationship with God in a different way. Actually steps to have that meaningful relationship with Him. Sabi ko, di lang pang business to, evangelist pa. =) Galing talaga!! Then plenary talk by Bro. Bo. All I can say about that talk, despite na scary topic, eh ayun.. Prophetic. Why? Sa ReView. hehe

Then after the talk, yun very solemn worship na sobrang joy and peaceful siguro dahil it's the way I can lift up to him my worries, doubts, troubles, problems and questions. Jesus indeed felt his presence at that time, until of course the last songs which party na! Celebration to the max... I went home, despite tiredness, I'm drained, and kinda broke. hehe I feel relieved.

Empowered!

I said this to my friend and sis sa CG na this is the best KCON for the past 3 years. Dahil na din kahit nakakapagod yun 4 days, maganda yun theme! 2 days for church/community groups, then yun 2 days ang usual streams or topics. On time ang classes, I mean may delay ng 10-15 mins, but not more than that unlike before na 30 mins-45 mins. Naexperience ko lang yun once but most of the time, sakto.  Maganda yun topics that were discussed, best collection of speakers lalo na nung Saturday classes, grabe.. Then worship and reflections were there.

Although when it comes sa entertainment, ok pa yun last year or lalo na yun 2011! All star ha. hehe Saka yun venue talaga kung nasa field lang like 2011, that is way better lalo na pagworship, iba yun aura and presence eh. Pero mas safe naman siyempre sa SMX. hehe

Some suggestions. First, hmmm I hope wag isama sa isang araw yun singles, kasi like what happened this year, looking forward ako maiiwasan ko na, kaso hindi eh. hehe Sana kinalat na lang nila nung other days, not compile it sa isang araw. How about prolonging yun time ng speakers, sayang kung mahaba lang yun time, not like less than 1 hour, sobrang sulit! hehe Another suggestion, yun host, sana wag din speaker, kakapagod kaya yun. hahaha

Sa church series, I hope they'll invite more speakers from other communities, although marami na nga this year. hehe Pero siguro other facets or make topics about church service or evangelism, or missionary works interesting.

Alam ko may magaling na speaker for 2014, sana lalo na for business/career, they'll invite CEO's from big companies. Kung pwede si MVP why not? hehe Or Ayala, or kahit si Jollibee CEO or pagsama nila sila Francis Kong, Anthony Pangilinan and that other Ardy, sorry I forgot his last name. Even sila Larry Gamboa, Colayco or kahit yun Penshoppe CEO hehe Sa religious talks, well sana, hindi claim na!! hehe Pwede naman mangarap kahit isa lang sa kanila, Rick Warren, or Joyce Meyer and that mysterious Joel Osteen.  How about Bill Maher? hehe

Anyway kidding aside, ah nagpapasalamat ako sa servants na kahit haggard na happy to serve pa din! hehe Mukhang next year pag buenas ka nga naman.. Happy to serve na ata ako. hahaha

Well, I also suggest, please they just need yun MOA Arena or Araneta para sa plenary talks. Magastos ang dalawang floor ng SMX ha. At grabe, sardinas paglabasan na. hehe But anyway, suggestion lang.. Mas maayos kasi at para lahat masaya at for the good na din ng production. Less expense and hassle.

To recap, this year I can say eh sobrang blessed and enlightened. Parang retreat talaga except no physical rest. hehe

But in God's grace and Holy Spirit's presence, I'm always at peace.

Jesus always empowers me. Empowers us..  =)

Still shocked and blessed from that very first talk.. Eh wala na kainan ito, deretcho na sa first class for the Saturday Edition. Unfortunately, as much I thrilled sa health talk eh nadelay. The only delay I experienced in this year's KCON. I chose this talk kasi I'm now into healthy living, starting ha. hehe But the diet is there, then excercise na lang, nadelay ulit kasi well for personal reasons. 

Ah, Bro Bo discussed, hmmmm let's say I heard that before, just recently in one series. Forgive me. hehe With some new information lalo na what to drink in breakfast ha, mahirap yun. hehe 28 Kalamansi juice? Really? Ubos oras.. Magawa nga sometime. hehe 

After that simple talk, hmmmm the interesting topic arrived, Neuro Linguistic style whatever, but let me tell you, it helps. The fastest way to get sleep is here or if you have a bad habit or trauma, mukhang nakakatulong. Kaso due to the late start.. =( Well, talk got cut short. Mabuti na lang may book yun friend ko. hehe Makahiram nga!

Well, after that class, I was expecting a lot but I think I'll just read the book at tuloy ang plan for diet and excercise. hehe

The second class well, pinili ko siya baka may other ways to enjoy or have motivation sa career. 

Yun pala, I'm in a treat! hehe

Eto naman sis ko, eh puwesto agad sa second row, middle of the stage, kakahiya baka magtawag ng audience! hehe Grabe.. Sana nabili ko nga yun libro niya. =(

At ngayon ko lang naalala yun amazing race  na sumali sila ng daughter niya, paano kasi iba yun pinapanood ko dun, actually basta maganda yun pair that's for sure. hahaha But anyway.. 

Jhet Van Ruyven should be one of our hidden treasures, I mean di lang international speaker or author but siya yun symbol na pagiging pinoy natin! I mean, mangugulay lang sa batangas becoming entrepeneur sa Canada tapos best selling author pa.. At di lang super serious like most of us in achieving dreams, siya pagkakalog ba at di mahiyain na ishare yun nangyari sa kanya, yun masayahin na tunay nagrepresent na pagiging successful pinoy abroad. 

Despite some tech difficulties, and short time at simple yun topic, powerful si te. hehe Bad trip, nashort pera ko, di tuloy ako nakabili nung libro niya. 

What shocked me most sa huli, noong pupunta siya sa edge ng stage kala ko thankful bow lang pero grabe, tumalon si Jhet with her heels at wala lang, rumampa! hahaha Ayun pumunta sa likod at picture at autograph din.

Well, I hope she'll come back sometime here to inspire again. =)

Until now, I'm suprised, that the last speaker that should have been at that last class eh Rex Mendoza, President and CEO of Philam life, I want to know his experience or his journey. I kinda read his article, seems a good CEO, willing to share to others. 

Nasan siya? I don't know..

Pero yun kapalit, sulit!! Sobrang sulit! hahahaha

Surprise replacement, well, one of the 2 students of the great Zig Ziglar, which until now iniisip ko pa din kung sino yun isa. hehe His name is Krish Dhanam, and wow.. Fortunate to see a speaker that not only passionate but motivating talaga. Tamang tama, selling pa naman yun theme, pag sales man ka, after hearing this piece, motivate na bumenta ka. hehe Ako, naisip ko kala ko magaling na ko bumenta dati pero kulang pa. 

Selling is not only just sell something but more into building relationship sa client or customer. And it's a process. You never stop at one customer, lalo na pag ayaw, then go to the another one. 

Krish not only discussed selling but some life points din na nakakatuwa and uplifting. Eto talaga, bad trip, bitin. At sana may ibang aspects siya nadiscuss, kahit anong aspect ata sa business pwede na idiscuss. Saka makikita mo talaga sa kanya, trained by Zig. Wow.. I hope, he'll be back kahit di sa KCON, other conferences pa. hehe

Yun talaga, motivational speaking excellence. hehe Galing..

Saturday ended and I felt not only very blessed..

But very motivated. Naks.. hehe

From morning till dawn, can't seem to forget what all those speakers said. =)

When I first heard that KCON this year is 4 days.. I thought, at first.. Paano yun? Mukhang maiipon ata ako ng VL. hehe Take note, forecast na agad kung may Sat Shift, at yes.. Tama, may Sat Shift. I prayed na Lord kahit LOA or VTO na ng Sat shift, basta makapunta. hehe Or maaprove lang yun Thursday and Friday ok na.

Well, due to some events eh biglang napaisip ko magpalit ng earlier sked then have fixed off for good reasons, one is to look at Algerro when I go home at para marami din magawa. Ok naman yun 6am to 3pm pero para matapos na agad, 2pm uwian na!

He made a way, ayun napprove naman ang request ko at no more worrying about the Sat and Sun classes and siyempre grand Feast. Unfortunately, VL na lang, pero he still provide na approve yun VL ko at wala naman hassle.

Got some good seats and all I need to do is wait for these days.
Kaso due to some commitment eh di ako nakapunta ng first day, pero mabuti na lang, my friend sa CG eh nakapagrecord!! hehe

Let's go sa second day.

First talk was about We Chat, discussing about well how to not only talk sa members, but doing more than that. Mentoring, guiding the members and most of all, seeing their spiritual growth pag tagal. You might forget it in the future but malay mo, yun mga naguide mo eh di nakalimutan ang ginawa mo for them. I was touched with the sharing of Kitting Gelano that from her, to her former student tapos from that person to Bro. Velden. Of course, kakatuwa na sa huli nagkita sila and here sa class na yun. Pay it forward, a good one.
Last class ng Friday was about keeping the community's fallout rate low or in business terms or organization terms, eh attrition. Sinong company/org na gustong mataas na attrition? hehe

With Bro. Arun and Bro. Jay discussed simple yet effective ways of keeping your community kung di lang malaki, of course, low fall out rate. It's start with relationship then 3 ways to keep it working. Una na yun small groups, tapos fun activities then events siyempre. Medyo nakalimutan ko pero mabuti nasave ko sa voice recorder. hehe Ito naman inaapply sa lahat ng community it's just the matter how they execute. Kasi mahirap magmaintain ng group especially kung choice pala ng member eh umalis, wala nang choice. Let go.
After that, plenary speaking with I'm surprised Holy Mass, healing mass. Wow, very blessed with Fr. Dave as the lead celebrator ng mass at I can say, that's a priest. I mean akala ko marami na ko nakita at narinig na priest na magaling, iba to.. He's very transparent yet holistic on how he explained yun Gospel and the word of God. Truly inspirational, I hope I can see him again sometime. =)
Tapos ng mass, another talk and very energetic  and long worship. For that day, I can say ah very focused sa church/community building ha. Kahit namiss ko yun unang day, terms they used are more general than it's for sa min. hehe Which is good at maganda marami pumunta na galing ibang community. I hope they enjoyed and importantly, learned a lot from our community. They can bring that back to their own community, used it and make their community grow.

Saturday came and I thought, or let's say I'm thinking of rest.

Kasi naman Thursday whole day of waiting sa doctor tapos late na nakauwi. Friday it was good, blessed yet pagkauwi, sa sobrang pagod, tulog agad.. Di man lang nagayos ng gamit, bad trip pa paguwi. hehe Mapagastos bigla.

Shining bright at SMX and medyo nalate pa ko, Lord napakahaba ng pila. hehe

Eh mabuti na lang may friends ako kasama, madali kumuha ng seats, kaso kakahiya,malapit sa camera! hehe I hate dancing, at si Bro Migs eh pasayaw ng pasayaw ng fireworks. hehe Anyway, after that, ah after a very cool introduction, started with a very, very, I don't know what I can say.. Simply prophetic. Speaker was Adam Comiskey and thank God, he just spoke to my heart. Let's say, in my current weakness, sometimes I gave up on how but still trying to get away from it and most of the time, most methods don't work. He gave a great answer! =) I'll do that, but still I was moved, inspired and it's like when I'm remembering yun talk niya, parang sinisigawan niya na ko. hehe Now, I understand his mercy..

Dahil sa powerful talk na yun, I almost forget the next talk until the end. Pero siyempre ok naman yun plenary talk ni Bro. Bo, but still Adam's talk still echoing in my ears. In my heart. In my soul.

Well, after that long plenary talk and worship..

The day was not over yet..

flashbacks: Kagawad

Medyo maikli lang ito kasi natanto ko lang at natandaan ko lang kasi nakita ko ang barangay eleksyon nung nakaraan.

Halos kinalimutan ko na, tumakbo pala si Mommy ng kagawad sa Project 7! hehe Nakalimutan ko lang kung anong year pero di ko makakalimutan kung ano ano yun pinagawa sa kin noon.. 

Una eh pinagawa kami yun mga streamer kung baga, gamit pa noon eh white tela tapos nakaframe gamit eh kahoy, tapos spray kami parang stamp or yun silkscreen sa tshirt. Vote Gertie Reyes. hehe What a catchy phrase. hahaha Alala ko pa noon, red ata gamit na pintura.

Pangalawa eh pinakamahirap sa lahat, romonda ng bahay bahay sa barangay veterans. Barangay Veterans pala ang tinakbuhan niya, kasi dun naman kami talagang nakatira. Parang naalala ko, hmmmm ako lang ata at nakalimutan ko kung sino kasama ko kapatid pero marami naman kami kasama namimigay, nakalimutan ko lang kung sino sino. Siguro yun mga kaibigan ni Mommy sa barangay o baka yun iba tricycle driver basta ang dami. Malamang kasama pa yun mga kapartido nya. Kakatuwa. hehe Bigay ng flyers, pamphlets siyempre posters, well walang poster si Mommy or kahit tarp kasi di pa uso noon at mahal. Tight budget lang kami. hehe At kahit maint at yun iba ayaw naman makikamay eh sige lang, araw araw yun.. Si Mommy naglakad, nakikamay at nakibati. 

Huli eh pinakamasklap sa lahat, natalo kami. hehe Parang number 8 or 9 ata si Mommy, well di ko alam kung bakit natalo si Mommy pero malaki naman ang Veterans village, so siguro may di kami nalibot at napakaraming tao dun. Kahit ganoon, naalala ko na di naman masyado nasaktan si Mommy, nagpakain pa nga sa lahat ng tumulong, fried chicken at kanin pa ang pinakain. Napagod siya, nalungkot pero pagkatapos noon, ok na.. Nagbabalak pa ngayon ha pero well, di natuloy. hehe

Compare ko naman sa mga tumatakbo sa barangay ngayon, grabe may ibang kandidato, di man lang nagpapakita!!! Pero nananalo! hehe Grabe example na yun dito, ang ingay ingay ng caravan umiikot sa barangay eh wala naman yun mga kandidato dun sa Caravan! yun mga hakot na volunteer lang nandun. Anak ng tinapa, kaya di umuunlad ang barangay. Feeling ko maraming ganitong style sa ibang barangay. At may matindi, may mga nanalo o kahit tumatakbo, di naman taga barangay. Ibang barangay pala! Siguro nakalusot kasi may kamag anak nakatira sa barangay kaya malamang yun ang ginamit na address. Geez.. Ang dadadaya. hehe Kahit di naman malaki ang sweldo ang barangay, pero easy money di ba. Kaunti project, patayo tayo, uwi na at kung may PDAF pa, buenas!! May "pabaon" ka pa. hehehe

Sana lang, kung talagang gusto natin mabago ang sistema ng gobyerno, dapat simulan sa barangay. May mga barangay na maayos ang sistema talagang inaasikaso ang mga nakatira sa barangay mula sa mga papeles, o medical center at ibang projects. Fully functional kung baga. Di dapat ang barangay eh pang papeles lang like barangay clearance o cedula lang tapos wala na silang gagawin. Ni romonda di pa consistent, rumoronda lang pag may nangyari na masama o krimen sa lugar. Di nga nila hinuhuli yun mga ano dito, naku kala mo mga tambay. hahaha Yun lang di nila magawa! 

Kaya ayun.. Kaya ako, kung tatakbo ako, maayos dapat yun simpleng functions ng barangay. Di yun nagtatago lang sa opisina. Geez.. 

Oo nga pala, after natalo si Mommy, nakapaglingkod pa din siya sa veterans village as...

Lupon Tagapayapa? Ang hirap ng spelling, naku simple lang gagawin, pag may nagaaway o gulo sa barangay gaya ng magkapit bahay nagsabunutan, para iwas kaso, sila yun mediator. hehe 

Mukhang mas ok ginawa ni Mommy dun. =)

A Stellar Year!

Ang bilis ng one year, the fastest one in my BPO career. I can't even imagine staying in this company despite it has a quite complicated backoffice work and the lowest salary I had.

Still... 

I was able to buy a lot, new shoes, pants, or even some things I want. hehe O kahit may nababayaran na ko, may natitira pa naman sa kin to buy things. Nakakapahinga ako ng maigi except some months this year kasi sa sobrang busy sa mga inuutos sa kin. Pero masarap magpahinga sa hapon. hehe 

I haven't experienced burnout pa naman unlike sa mga dating work or endeavor. Paano ba naman, pag mahirap ang task eh pahinga muna.. Punta dito o doon! hehe Chismax muna o kung mahirap ang task, tanong din sa support. hehe Stress oo, nakaexperience pero pagpatak ng uwian.. Uwian na, bukas na lang yan task na yan. 

How beautiful magwork sa eastwood ng umaga, malapit na, madali nang pumasok. Mabuti na lang wala pang rush hour ang pasok ko kung hindi, grabe parang Makati na pala ang trapik dito! Kaya ok paguwian na. hehe Kahit medyo matrapik sa Cubao. Mura pa pamasahe.

I'm not tired of getting up, yun parang ba looking forward to just finish the day kasi alam mo di naman matagal. Lalo na pag 5am ang pasok kasi napabilis matapos ang shift, pati yun off. hehe Meaning ni isang araw, walang sakit na katam.. Eh pag may calls to, panay gamit ko siguro ng SL/VL. hehe Eh VL lang nagamit ko dito.

Meaning I had a great year here because sa mga nabanggit ko. Akalain mo na tatagal ako dito. Naisip ko nga sana di na lang ako nagteletech at deretcho na ko dito. Kaso ganun talaga, minsan may dadaanan ka na di mo expected. 

I am happy here, kasama siyempre yun natitira sa batch 12. hehe Siyempre sa team ko din na napakasupportive kahit mabaliw na kami lahat. We have a TL pa na inside and out, maganda ugali. First time in my career. hahaha With other great set of TL's, at dahil sa LOB ko, di routinary pero sana routinary kasi ang hirap ng tasks namin, tapos yun napakadali. Daya! hehe With fun team mates at supportive naman ang upper management despite high targets.. We still work as a team pa din kahit may disagreements or conflicts.. Sa huli basta gawin ang trabaho, malaki ang uwi. hehe

Malaki din pala ang tulong noong over profit, lalo na sa kalagitnaan ng taon, aba, naramdaman ko ang profit!! hehe Kaya nakakabayad na, tapos nakakabili pa. Reward talaga pag may hard work na kasama. hehe 

I admit, eto lang ang center, before 1 year, I received a lot of souvenirs. Most na ito. hehe 3 shirts, 1 lineyard, a bag and lunch box na hanggang ngayon di ko pa binubuksan. Well Dell has really a lot of quality souvenirs pero itong Stellar, mararmi na nabigay. Yun iba diyan, ehem.. Jacket lang binigay kahit matagal na. hehe

They have a good HR, kung anong request, bigay agad. Great sana kaso well, may some chismax. hehe Bad ones, but in my experience, ok lang. Yun iba kasi medyo alat sa HR. Clinic has some problems, not sa kin kasi bihira lang ako pumunta. Pero may magandang puntahan sa clinic pag nandun siya. hehe 

I mean, the clinic has some lack of meds. Lalo na yun ibang cases na mefanamic acid lang ang binibigay nila which is it shouldn't be. Although yun maxicare and medicard coverage is good, kaso mahal pag may dependent. Mabuti tapos na ko sa ganun. hehe Payroll, well, ok naman I just don't like BDO sa payroll at yun time ng payroll nila, gabi na! Ang hirap minsan. I hope they can just switch sa BPI at maaga ang sweldo. hehe At ang tax, grabe, sana may refund!! Yun isang cut off ko, record, ngayon ko lang nakakita na 3K ang awas sa kin tapos mapupunta lang kay Jeane Napoles!! Ok lang. hehe Hindi ok, kung kay Janet Napoles lang, wag na!! Pesteng tax to, parang kung kailan lumiit sahod at makakuha na ok na bonus, dun tumaas! Bwisit na gobyernong ito. hehe 

Nakakatuwa naman dito, now lang sila nagstart to put some RnR events! hahaha Old skul pa.. Unlike sa mga dating companies na nagwork ako, welcome talaga ang employees at maraming events. Dito, medyo budgeted. hehe Pero I understand because sa management style nila which is Open Book Management. 

Sa lahat ng naging work ko eh eto yun pinakatransparent. Lalo na sa targets, eh san ka naman nakakita, araw araw ang monitor ng kita ng LOB. Yun ibang center, walang ganito tapos gulatan pa pag wala na ang LOB. hehe Here we know and confident that we hit targets, keep the client stay and kung may profit, edi alam na.. Saka may time sila to get the points from reps. May say kung baga.

QA here, well, sa simula hirap ako pero nung nagtagal, ayos pala. I mean basta halos lahat ng task ginawa mo tama, papasa ka sa month. Kaso may time talagang may kasamang malas, sa sobrang pagmamadali eh yun may itlog na task. Pero mabuti papalitan nila kasi at least wala na auto fail no. Grabe kasi. hehe 

At first, I thought and I admit naghanap din ako nang lilipatan kasi ang liit ng sahod and weird work. Pero as months goes by, and learned the ropes, aba ayos naman pala dito. Sana ganito yun mga unang work ko. Nice sked, people, bonus and work. Plus environment. =) No wonder, kahit may mga umaalis pero di yun lahat umaalis everyday. It's worth working and staying for a while. 

Thank God, natupad yun wish ko dati pa.. While working pa sa Dell noon, naisip ko sana I can work dito din sa eastwood but in a great morning regular shift.

4 years later with a lot happened in my life, he gave it to me! Despite long tests sa HR and grueling interview and actually I applied sa airline account which turns out high attrition pala..

He put me here. No voice that coming through in my ears everyday.  No irritating voice, accents or even reasons why customer calls. Nothing for a year and it's so pleasing in my ears. = )

At least, may pace na pwedeng pahinga tapos todo ulit.. May sariling sked ng breaks.. At iba pa.. 

Damn, sana after 24/7, dumeretcho na ko dito, maraming Over profit siguro nakuha ko. Nah sana mas marami pa nagawa noon.

For now, I'm enjoying it and staying here. Thank God. =)

The question, will I go for the record of 2 years or more?

The answer... If I still write about them at the same date next year. 

What I can say, some buried plans/dreams some how.

Comes to life again, and it will go through. From there will see..

I haven't quite written this type of unplanned for a very long time. =)

I still feel dizzy from yesterday due to that crampy van ride going home. Not hunger or even that loud headset I have. hehe I vowed never to ride at that spot in a van again!

For the past days, I feel blessed!

I feel stressed as well.. Maybe I should really take a long vacation. As much I want to do it these next weeks, I simply can't.

I thought the net is down but great thing, it's working. At least, I won't wait again 3 days for maintenance then fix it and have it back on.

Starting next week, the time has come to finish what I've started before... Finishing the SAP module, and it's back to square one. hehe I'm still searching for an accounting book but it seems no one can really lend me one, so I might as well buy one. I hope I can find that is quite cheap. 

I'm now have a forsight this December, it will be a simpler or let's say a poor Christmas.. hehe But an intelletually enriching and feel good one. Unlike those years that I'm not really looking forward to these holidays but simply just enjoying it by eating or going to places or shopping perhaps. Worse, getting my inventories up for these days. Very busy..

These past years, I'm not like that anymore. I just need rest. =)

Time is really passing away, after getting this job, I can't believe, it's the fastest one year flew in my work life. Well that will be in my another post. 

My teams in the NBA quite sucks. OKC still finding the right rhythm or offensive plays to really not depend with KD or Russ. MEM just have Gasol out indefinitely due to knee problem. IND and MIA still going good but nothing notable because that's expected with them. GSW, just need to be healthy. hehe

PBA? Hmmmm I'll see if I can watch one later when I go home.

I can't wait to start for next week, despite it will be a busy weekend for me. Thanks to Dad that he supported me, and I'll give my best shot to finish this module and see what future holds for me. I claim that one day, I won't be worried so much, in terms of financially.. I may even support them. hehe Let's see..

Let's see how God will guide me through this. =)

By the way, I kinda miss writing at this type. Geez, that's the effect of not talking to those customers again for more than a year!!! hahahahaha

Actually, it's a good thing. =) Maybe I'm better than this than talking to them..

Part 1

When it comes to business districts here in the Philippines, first comes to mind is this place.. Makati!

As much I want to describe this place, I'll kinda save that part at the next post. For now, I'll just give you some companies or some buildings when thinking of applying for a call center/BPO job.

Despite many people coming from the farthest of places like from the South or North, they still come to work here at Makati. It's all here! From big companies, government agencies, malls or even the stock exchange.

Just a short description of Makati.. Definitely, if your shift is at night, it's easy to come to work, no traffic and less frills. But if your shift is the normal day shift, office type, morning shift well.. Gotta say, give yourself at least one and a half hour in advance coming here. Then if you come home at rush hour, give your at least 2 hours going home. That's at my place, but worse if you're living far. Geez.. Makati is big, a lot of villages and a lot of strict traffic rules, all guards in uniform can apprehend your driver's license and much more.. To make it simple, I advise don't bring a car here unless your earning big time. hehe

If you're coming from Pasay, going to Dian St.. I heard this is a working call center that caters Korean for online english tutorials.

Going forward to Chino Roces/Pasong Tamo extension/Washington, actually there is one building to look out for a job. The much maligned Export Bank Plaza. Maligned because the Export Bank was well, under receivership of central bank, it went kaput.. But the building still stands.

Inside the building, houses the notable..

Headstrong - they are like Accenture in terms of job positions, back office, HR functions, programming then that's it. I tried to apply there thru my friend but it did not work out. Fine. hehe Even my friend left, so I don't know, what good or bad inside there. But important is they still stands. They only have night shift. Definitely smaller than Accenture.

Sutherland - I'm not sure if this one still operates in this building after their closure of their site in one province. They handle mostly US accounts such as, I'm not sure but google or amazon. Between those two.. It's an Indian owned company but what I heard. None that will really notice them. What I do know they just closed their site in one provice way back a year ago. Geez.

WEST contact services - Before, they have a lot ads, even reaching to city buses!!! But now, they kinda spending cuts of recruitment! hahaha I know they have Yahoo account, the YM part which besides at their Manda office.  In this site, they have a tech account, then HR of AT&T, hiring of outsource techs!!! hehe That is the position I wanted! But sad to say, I did not pass. I applied twice, one was after my college graduation, then last one, after my days from 24/7. hehe The tests were not changed, still the same, from typing, reading comprehension, interview, then that's it. I don't know why I'm quite unlucky. One good thing about them, you get paid bi weekly! Every second and last friday of the month. One bad thing about them, if your scorecard or stats are quite low, despite TL's authority to save the agent, they will remove you. No questions ask. Even you're tenured. I just remembered that they do have US cable account, I just forgot the name. But definitely, that's a toxic account! hahaha

After Export Plaza, well, go forth and you'll find Burgundy Plaza. Home of the security guards who shot their counterparts.. Geez. Crazy!

Kidding aside, only call center situated here is Sykes. But I'm not sure if this center still residing because they just opened one in G5.

Anyway, I'll make it short for Sykes because the bash is at their next site, in the same Makati place. hehe But here at this site, I'm sure MCI still stands or what they are called now. Then they have a new account, quite intriguing.. A financial account which the rep cannot disclose to anyone.. I mean even friends. I'm quite curious, I can't even guess if it's US, they say Canadian, but definitely not UK. I have no clue. Well, Sykes has a weird payscale that you can choose, a lot of leaves which you can convert. The bad thing? Next time!

Walk a few minutes, passed the Makati Post Office, the Mercury Drug and Tropical Hut, corner of Ayala Ave. From People Support, now it's Aegis! Then sometime, a new name again! hehe

Proof? Gossips around the office, then my best friend who well got retrenched, as he is working at middle management. There is a way of cost cutting.

Well, this company has ups and a lot of downs. I mean before they were recruiting hard and became one of the best centers.

Unfortunately, some bad things happen. They used to have a lot of accounts, one prominent account Vonage used to be a good one. However, due to the scandal and dropping sales of VOiP, Vonage closed and pulled out. I forgot their US financial account, I'm not sure which but that pulled out as well, then left a lot of non working agents. Others left, others retrenched and others lucky still stayed in different LOB's.

I heard that they have their own gym, a great medical coverage and good food restaurants at the below of their center, with Starbucks. Only accounts I know they still have, the flower delivery that I'm not sure of it, Expedia and a local account of Philam which they cut agents every month..  Then the gossip of another sale of them.

Well, simply avoid this one and there are a lot as you move forward in Ayala Ave or Buendia. hehe

I'm now thinking that this series will be the longest part of this blog series..

At one quiet day, someone came to ruin that day..  Another day and it seems, my days will be like this anyway. hehe

For this month, kung kailan gagalaw na ko ng matino, nabago na naman. Hay.. Gero will stay here for a very, very and a very long time. I won't even need to make a countdown.. Forget it.

Sa work, tanggap ko na talagang napakahirap ng queue, at mabuti naman medyo bawas OT naman. hehe Kapagod, at mabuti umaga. Kung panghapon, naku may mga araw katams na ang sakit. hehe Pero dahil umaga, inspired pumasok at maganda ang araw. Maganda ang team eh.  Kahit puro hinanakit ang mga pinagagawa sa amin...

Very blessed sa community and some, KCON is fast approaching and can't wait to come and experience somewhat a trance of holiness perhaps. We all pray that it will be a successful KCON again this year.

Well, Gero is now here at maraming nangyari na for the first weeks di lang dito, kung hindi sa ibang lugar. Ang hirap, at I admit na stress is a lot higher here at home than sa work. Weird indeed. But thank God, I still feel relieved when the day is done. =)

It will be an eventful month for me. Lalo na ang bilis ng isang taon sa Stellar!! Wohoo! I'm happy, very happy but not really satisfied due to some factors, pero well.. I'm still here. hehe

Kahit di naman masyado ang DOTA nights eh ako may sariling DOTA nights. hehe Medyo binabawasan ko na ang oras, minsan napapasobra! hahaha

NBA is now playing, well.. Maaga pa ang season, wala munang predictions. hehe

PBA sa Sunday na!!!! RoS and Alaska pa din!!! Kahit may Slaughter pa ang Ginebra, Gaynebra pa din mga yan!! hahaha Pero talagang malakas ang Ginebra..

At yun mga bagay na sana, masimulan ko na talaga. Kahit wala na ko space masyado for myself, pipilitin ko pa din!
