Expendables

Well, wag maalala, pafiller lang to. hehe Wala ako masulat pang iba kasi sa sobrang busy, 3 weeks ka ba naman 5:30pm ang uwi, mababaliw na ko. hehe Ok lang kung ang work eh medyo madali but for these past weeks? Sobrang toxic, not because of the role, pero queuing. Akalain mo naman, wala na upuan at station, kinain na ng ibang dept?!

Ayun isa isa kaming log out o VL without pay, diyos ko. Pano na. hehe

Pano pala ako napunta dun, anyway, one night after a long day of despair sa queue, I decided to watch the Expendables. The new film from Sly with an all star action cast, from Jason, Jet, Couture, Dolph, Rourke, with Terry Crews and cameo from Arny and John Mcclaine este Bruce Willis pala. hehe

Well, the story is simple, bunch of retired soldiers became mercenaries tapos may isang mission sila na napagtripan ni Sly kasi naawa siya sa babae. That girl is the general's daughter of a mexico like nation run by a CIA agent/drug lord played by brother of Julia, Eric Roberts. Henchmen siyempre, stone cold Steve Austin tapos ang Kenshiro na Fist of the North Star live version, Gary Daniels na lumaki lalo ang katawan nun tumanda. Pero deadly pa din. hehe

Siyempre, ayaw kasama nila Sly yun expendables kasi it's his mission daw, thanks to the drama acting of Rourke, so he decided to fly back alone. Sumama si Jet Li tapos etong si Dolph nagtraydor ng kaunti, ayun hinabol sila Sly and Jet pero in the end, tumulong na si Dolph. Warfreak kasi si Dolph kaya nung una, tinanggal siya. hehe

Pagboard sa plane, ayun sumama na sila kay Sly because friend silang lahat. hehe

Then they invade Vilena country,blow everything apart, sapakan dun, patayan diyan, VS kuno diyan, then after all those mayhem, the country was saved and they just go back to the tatoo shop for some knives fun.. hehe

The film itself like other film sites or blogs, indeed pang macho ang dating talaga. Lalo na kung nakabuo ka ng ganun cast, grabe, iba yun action. hehe Saka maganda dun, balance naman sila lahat. Unang scene pa lang panalo na di ba, tanggal ang katawan tapos patay lahat, walang kahirap hirap sa kanila. Dapat ganun ang SWAT team natin! hehe

Ok din naman ang roles nila, except for Jet Li, wala masyadong dialogue, parang patas lang siya with Austin and Daniels. hehe Saka maganda action agad, wala na masyado daldalan, lalo naman kung ganun lang ang concept, b-movie with A list stars. hehe

In fairness kay Sly, galing niya bumaril, akalain mo yun 60 na, ganun pa din bumaril? hehe Saka iniba niya papel niya dun kaysa kay Rambo. Kaunti lang.

Siyempre, may downs din. And like all others who has complaints, the number one complain is di masyado violent. Siguro kaya tone down yun film eh parang malaki yun market ng film pero sa quality, medyo bumaba. I still like Rambo 4 kahit si Sly lang ang artista dun. Brutal eh. hehe Dapat dito sana consistent siya, pero well, mas malaki ata kinita nito than Rambo 4, so tama lang din. Pero iba quality pag brutal din to.

Two is short. Mas short pa siya sa Rambo 4 or talagang hanggang dun na lang kaya niya ata, around 93 or 95 mins? Hmmmmm

Pero short talaga kasi after this scene yun agad. Like after yun naambush yun si Sly and Jet, lipad agad sa mansion. Ayos. hehe Action scenes lalo na sa dulo medyo dragging, saka medyo halata na kailangan lahat sila may action move. hehe From Randy to Terry Crews, pati ata sa action kailangan balance eh. hehe Which sana di ganun, sana ginawa niya eh more scenes from Jason, Sly and Jet, pero sa huli, kaunti lang, marami siyempre yun director. hehe Kung pinahaba sana at malamang maganda lalo yun action scenes for each one of them.

Three, siyempre yun story, medyo madali naman. I know yun purpose na b-movie na to pero sana naman, medyo may twist ok? =)

But overall, pwede na. Kakaenjoy saka astig silang lahat. Sila Igz and Doc gusto yun shotgun ni Terry Crews. hehe Ewan ko si Rheg sino trip niya, ako si Jason, astig yun story niya. Silent pero deadly. hehe

Pero mas sulit siya sa 150 at kasama pa ang CRAP. Yun sa Greenbelt 3, 200, di eh. Pero marami naman magagandang tanawin dun. hahahaha

Well, lesson? Ah sometimes, they need to make it free to serve especially for the good of many. Tama?

I can't wait for RED, sila Bruce, Morgan, John Malkovich, Mary louise Parker and my fave Hellen Mirren with a machine gun. Bloody Great!!!!!!

Di ko alam bakit theme ng movies this year is just bunch of guys and girls want to be mercenaries.. Damn.

Love Vs. Right

In all decisions, I just realized, these two aspects in life are the most difficult and nerve wracking choices I'd encounter..

Right, which is a choice you made to please other people or in the society or family, just to say hey he's a good man.

Love, which well, many explanations, but for me, what made me happy. What keeps me going everyday. I love doing these things. And love of course, about relationships to other people.

When I've done the right thing, they are happy.. When I've done what I love, not all of them are happy... Cruel logic. =(

However, as time goes by, and I read some sharings or reflection, God gave us this choice, do what you love most as long you know what you are doing. Or you can also do what is right to feel not only safe but peace in life. Confusing right? =(

But over these years, I felt I always do what is right.. Do this, do that or whatever, and I just follow them.

Some of them, they were perfectly right for me. Even at first, nah I don't like it, but eventually it grows and I love it! =)

However, some of those things, it did not go well with me. It's not right to me, it's not like me.. That kind of feeling..

Loving something gave me a different view in life. I just realized that when I look back and there somethings came in my way that I love doing it..

Unfortunately, some of them even I tried to work it out, it did not work. Some actions I thought I love having it or you thought this is it, it failed..

Eventually, in those failures or trials I faced when I love certain thing or task or whatever, it gave me something to cheer about or put a smile in my face for a while. Meaning, I should do what I love. Maybe I haven't done this before, but it is, for me, doing something you love, gives a certain satisfaction and worse, wants to keep it!!! hehe

Of course not all of it can be done because it's not right. I should choose some of it, it's right but as long you love it, should I care about them? =)

I know it's too late to make up for those choices, but well, I just felt, I will be feeling better if I do what I want, even it's risky or somewhat safe, as long I love that choice, then I should go for it. No matter what!

It is hard to comprehend, but that's love, you just feel it.. I know those two should be together, but not all the time..

It happened before, maybe I should have made the right choice... =)

Risky Vs. Safety

Decisions to be made are not easy. Especially when it comes to some situations. Well, in business, work, or even what's should I eat today, crap pantry or Jollijeep? How about, plans for the day? How much load do I need? Or Should I go for more stock in my shop?

Do I give it all every call, even it's queuing? Or just rush it up but my VOC will be down again...

Should I ride PVP on the way home, or just ride a FX at taft but it will be traffic along the way..

Some those questions are always in my mind, everyday. Yes, some of them. I can't tell the other questions. Sorry. =(

Nevertheless, I do have some decisions in my life that I should have change like at the end of the time, well, go for broke!!!! But some of them, I should have thought of, like.. Oops, I think I could have done it in the right way or just play safe..

It's hard to choose between those two, especially when it involves something you will lose.. Then that thing you will lose it's hard to accept it. But you can't have it all in life..

You can have it all, maybe lose that first then gain it later again. =)

In business, you should take calculated risk, meaning like when you do this, if it fails, then it won't hit hard. But if it wins, then great! Like poker I guess. You win big, you lose big.

In life, you don't want to get hurt but well, sometimes, you will need to take risk. But sometimes, you will need to check yourself, can you do it or not?

For this one, both of them are important aspects in my life. I do have some regrets taking so much risk, but I learned anyway. I do have some regrets playing safe because I want to take less pain or regret but at the end, damn I should have done that. hehe

For this one, it's a damn tie.. Too much risk in life might made a failure for a long time.. Too much safety, well, I might not even enjoy life. Scared too much.

I can't tell, I can't even balance in those two choices..

But whatever it is, it is important to me, and I'm grateful, I do have those two choices always in me.

Time will tell, if I have done the right thing!

Need Vs. Want

We have goals in this life.. It's either what we need to survive or things that we want to satisfy our pleasures or reach our dreams or aspirations.

In my case, I don't even know what's the difference of the two. Maybe I need to survive to finish everything that I started or the need to complete such enormous task every moment.

My need to just finish everyday right. I know I won't be lucky everyday but just to make it right, make the whole day good and safe. After today, then well next day. Tomorrow.

I need to be strong for all of this not only because for myself but also for some who depends on me. I should decide fast and accurate. Or if fails, then make up for it. I need to change for the better. I know it will be a long way but little by little, I'm getting there, even it's tiring but I need it, to change my way a bit.

I need it.. Definitely, or maybe.

Most or some of it.

I want to be pilot when I was a kid because I want to fly with an Airplane, especially fighter jets or valkyrie in Macross. I want to be a lawyer just to serve for the people who can't afford to have one or helpless to present their case at the court.

I want to drive a car so if I want to go somewhere else, alone, then I have my own space.

I want to have a long rest, it's almost 1 and half year of madness and work yet, I don't have so much time for myself, or even to fix my things at the room. Good thing I have my post.

I want to be many more..

Unfortunately, most of them, can't be reach that easy. That is where my need comes in.

I need more time.. For myself, for everything..

To get what I want, I need to realize..

It will be a long journey of survival.

I want some new love..

But I need a new girl in my life. hehe

Needless to say, I need to choose it. =)

Mang Inasal Vs. Chick-boy

Numbers wise, of course, kawawa si Chickboy, isa lang branch niya eh, na alam ko. hehe

Ah according to website, may take out, kaso naman sayang, isa lang talaga yun branch nila na restaurant.

After maka apat na kanin kaninang lunch at kahit yun pa din inorder ko, yun lagi. hehe Grabe, parang di na ko kakain mamaya, ok na siya for the whole day. Lechon Cebu, CB6 ata yun with bottomless ice tea. Wow. Katakam. hehe

Well, when I looked at their menu and everything at that store, I can say, their mission and vision, is to defeat Mang Inasal. hehe

From kangkong na imbes crispy kangkong, they go for adobong kangkong which good. Green yun kangkong tapos masarap yun sauce. Masarap yun ice tea, at sulit!!! Tsansa ko nga, malamang mahina na 3 xtra rice basta yun ang order. hehe Tapos yun halo halo, ayun same price with mang inasal kaso di ko pa natry eh. Sige pag may time. hehe

Well, yun manok daw and other liempo, according to Mhon, my team mate who is malakas din kumain at kapwa PG, (Patay Gutom). hehe Di daw masarap, well, as for Igz suggest din. hehe Pero bawi sa lechon cebu, panalo.

I still remember yun unang invite sa min ni Igz dun, peste kasing whopper yan, di nasulit yun chickboy kain namin. hehe Pero after that, luckily, RCBC lang naman ang work, so isang jeep lang dun. Grabe sila Igz, taxi pa from PS. hehe Ako, kahit malate na ang lunch ko, late log in, makakain lang sa chickboy, ok na!!!!

I like there is fast service, unlike well, the Inasal, grabe, masasawa ka sa tubig at ice tea. At may fried garlic pang kasama. At yun lechon, sorry pork barbeque, talo. At di naman makalat unlike pag kumakain ako sa Inasal, parang sobrang gusgusin ako sa oil. hehe Ang talo lang eh, siyempre, di ko pa nataste lahat, pero don't worry, darating din ako sa lahat ng menu nila, at marami infairness.. Even yun sinigang nila, same price, but I don't know the taste. hehe Masarap din yun soup nila ha. Parang sa pares dito sa retiro. hehe Service? Great!!! Sa dami ng tao nila, bago ka humingi ng Ice tea or kanin, nandiyan agad sila. Ayos di ba, saka yun order, parang yun ang tugatog ng BRB sa UST, mabilis pero masarap. hehe Kaso yun BRB sa UST, di ganun eh, malamig saka kung malas, di pa luto. hehe

Well, yun lang ang minus points nila.. But we'll see in the future, kung hanggang saan yun sarap nila. Pero feeling ko, matatalo na yun kalaban at oo nga pala, partida, isa lang ang resto nila. Isa pa lang......

I think last year ata yun, kuya Alpro invited me to eat with them, siyempre sa Mang Inasal near retiro, tapat ng Mcdo. I did not expect something there, pero siyempre pagkain no, gutom na ko sobra after 7am - 7pm sa suki!!!!

Ayun, umorder sila ng pecho ata yun, tapos crispy kangkong tapos ayun, nasarapan ako. hehe

That time, tatlong kanin ako, meaning 2 extra rice tapos masarap yun chicken ha. It's like poor man's aristocrat. Which until now, di ako makapunta pa. May reyes bbq, hehe Kaso iba pa rin ang Aristocrat. Anyway, masarap yun manok tapos yun halo ng oil, toyo and suka, kahit wala na yun sili, panalo, at siyempre yun oil sa kanin. The best. hehe As time goes by, ayun, pork barbeque na order ko kasi nga gusgusin ako after kumain ng manok. Pork barbeque for me easier and enjoyable. Well, hanggang tatlong kanin din tapos yun lately lang, halo halo. Siyempre chowking masarap yun halo halo nila but come on, 75 pesos for that serving? No way!!!!! Then add 15 for ice cream scoop, sa kanila na yun.

Eh sa Mang Inasal, ayun, 45 lang. hahaha May ice cream pa. hehe After that, di na ko nagcrave sa Chowking halo halo. Panalo, everywhere I go, lalo na pag sobrang drained at gutom ako, punta ako sa Mang Inasal, at busog na. PG na ang dating. hehe

Well, they thought they have the upper hand. They're not.. Some operational flaws. Number 1, ang pinaka bad trip sa lahat, ang tagal ng service. Like one time, I mean sa Saturday shift, ang tabi ng insular building eh yun building with the Sbarro tapos Mang Inasal.. Siyempre, pagorder mo wait pa around 5 minutes or worse 15 minutes. At di pa nagtatapos dun, mahirap humingi ng rice, or even water, yes water. Dahil siyempre sa sobrang dami ng customer, pero kakaunti lang ng tao. Ano ba yun?!

Second of course the menu, well, unfortunately, may lason sa menu. Sisig, di sulit, and I think yun iba din. Nalason na kami ni Kuya Allan sa bangus sisig, 155, kakaunti, parang mas sulit pa bumili ng monterey sisig na 90 pesos pa. hehe At magtiyaga magluto.

Crispy kangkong ayun sulit naman kahit papano, with mayo dip. hehe

Ah pineapple juice pero other than that. Wala na.

Lastly, or course the people. I mean human operations. Kala ko dati, pagnagwork ka sa Jollibee or Mcdo, sobrang toxic na ng work siyempre, sa dami ng tao pumupunta, may tatalo na pala dun, Mang Inasal.

Di lang sa tingin mo malalaman kung gaano katoxic ang work..

I just discovered it with their former employees..

While I'm applying sa epldt welcome, yes I did apply there, baka kasi may night shift tapos balita ko that time, mataas ang pay na sa epldt so try ko..

May nakasama ako 2 applicants galing mang inasal, trying to get a job as a CSR..

Siyempre, ako naman, pahumble effect, kunwari, parang second call center lang ito. hehe Anyway, while waiting for the interviewer, ayun kwentuhan kami tapos siyempre bigay tips sa kanila paano pumasa, tapos kinukwento nila kung gaano kahirap magwork sa Inasal.

Bawal magbreak, actually may break sila, 1 hr lang in a 10 hr shift nila. Grabe noh, kung call center yun, resign na ko. hehe Tapos siyempre, bulk ng trabaho, as the franchise hire less people para siyempre yun profit margin eh dikit, macompromise naman yun service. Like ako, pagkakain dun, may kalat pa, tapos isa lang yun nagliligpit, ayos di ba, siyam siyam ka pa kakain. Parang dun sa victory mall, grabe, di ko malilimutan yun, nandiyan na yun order ko wala pa nagliligpit!!! Anak ng tokwa. hehe

So, ganun daw talaga, tapos delay ang sahod, at ang matindi sa lahat rotating yun, may madaling trabaho naman dun, magihaw kaso yun nagkakasakit. Or the hard one, ligpit, serve and run, oh crap. Tapos araw araw ganun, patay na! hehe

Kaya nakakaawa nga yun dalawang yun. Well, dumating yun interviewer, mukhang nahirapan sila and until now, I don't know, kung pumasa sila, kahit PAL lang yun account. Sana pumasa sila.

Nagulat na lang yun dalawa, na kakwentuhan ko yun interviewer kasi galing din pala ng parlance yun HR. hehe Tapos nagtip na dun ako ilalagay ulit kung gusto ko malaki sahod. Di na!!! Lalo na yun March, nagtanggal sila ng 800 na agents. hahaha Buti na lang di ako bumalik, pero wala ako balak bumalik sa kanila. hehe

Well, tabla ang laban. I go for Inasal because they have anywhere, patient naman ako maghintay whatever, kaysa naman araw araw ako pumunta ng jupiter no!

But for Chickboy, very promising, kung mayrun sa QC nito na resto, malamang every week, ang CRAP nandun.. Maganda yun place, masarap yun food, sulit and the service. However, for now, sa Jupiter lang sila. hehe

How sad. But in due time, if Inasal won't fix those problems at yun Chickboy lumakas, wala na ang Inasal. hehe

Chickboy stands for Chicken and Baboy? How clever naman. hehe

Kala ko parang may kilala akong ganun eh.. Hmmmmm

Hot Vs. Cold

This will be the start of a battle of opposites.. Choices...

Dilemmas.. Decisions..

Siyempre, let's start sa madali. hehe

Malamang ang sagot ko dito eh alam na..

I don't really go for sobrang hot, kasi siyempre napapaso o sobrang nagpapawis agad ko na di malaman.. Di kasi nagexcercise. hehe Saka, iba mood ko pagmainit, alam ko siyempre pag ibang tao mainit ang paligid, mainit din ang ulo. Ako parang iba.. Pagod agad or worse well, tulog na agad na bad trip. hehe

What I like naman sa mainit na panahon or some things hot, well minsan kailangan na mainit to balance, like pag sinipon ako, I need some soup or minsan since di naman ako masyado sa excercise, ayun imbes magjeep or fx, ayun, minsan naglalakad ako.. Lalo na pag sobra daming kinain. hehe

Pero di ko masyado asa sa init, ayun pala, pag maliligo, sometime lang ako maligo ng mainit, paano naman, katamad magpainit ng water. hehe

Oh let's go to the one I like, cold. I like ice.. I mean yelo ha. hehe I like frappe than hot coffee or tea.. Iced tea than usual normal tea.

Ice cream, hmmmm basta something cold.. Kung may winter lang ok na.. Raining as well, kasi masarap ako matulog saka iba yun feeling na malamig for me.

Sagada than the hot beaches. Ah, I like night than morning. Pero pag work, siyempre morning. hehe

Kanin lamig o bahaw kaysa sa kakasaing lang. Basta something cold. Mabuti naman di ako nilalagnat. hehe

But siguro bakit cold gusto ko, siguro sa mood ko din, not that exciting like fire pero calm and steady lang.

Not that aggressive yet pag gumalaw, yun na. hehe Labo no? Parang dry ice.

I know sometimes, kakabad trip pag sobrang lamig, like nangyari sa kin this year, tonsilitis. Tapos brainfreeze din, numbing of parts din.. Parang sa sagada, grabe nun bumaba ako ng bus, nanginginig na ko lahat. hehe Paano, walang jacket. haha

Well, siyempre pag food naman, all hot naman, wag lang yun rice.

Kaya siguro mahina ako sa love, I'm so cold. hehe

Anyway, that's my choice, I don't care I'm slow at love or whatever, I'm happy as long it's so cool and a bit chilly.

Cold beer din, siyempre. Panalo! Kahit maguwak pa ko. =)

I hope I could share that coldness with somebody else. I guess.

God of Gamblers

Another film that is nostalgic, in the sense na napanood ko to sa home cable through the star movies mandarin. Star movies mandarin is the reason why I loved watching mandarin movies, even di naman ako marunong mag chinese. hehe I mean from kung fu films, to drama, comedy and siyempre action!!! And this is one of them.

I can't believe until now, Chow yun Fat and Andy Lau pala yun. hehe I mean that time ang sikat si Fat, si Andy Lau parang F4 lang dati yun tapos nag grow into serious actor na din, like today. Pero in that movie, di serious eh, pero fun naman.

Story? Hmmmm God of gamblers is Fat, as long it's gambling, walang tatalo, kahit sa japanese gambling, yun mga dice, pati ba naman yun, panalo pa. Grabe. hehe Magaling talaga, and even poker, yun ang specialty. He was asked by a japanese friend to fight a gambling lord na tumalo sa kanya dati, so he agreed kasi alam mo naman ang japanese, suicidal, hehe.

Unfortunately, one night, habang naglalakad siya sa daan, nahulog siya parang sa isang hill at tumama ulo niya at dun naman papasok si Andy Lau. I forgot the name of the character. hehe Anyway, ayun, tinulungan niya, gamutin kaso di naman niya maiuwi sa bahay kasi may amnesia. Pero nalaman niya magaling si Fat due to chocolate. Mahilig kasi sa serg's chocolate si Fat, kaya magaling sa sugal. hehe Or I don't know the brand nun chocolate basta, pag kumain siya nun gumagaling.

Ayun laro sila ng laro, hanggang sa may nakakilala kay Fat, yun bodyguard niya kasama bago mahulog sa hill, naiuwi siya.

While that happening, yun kapatid ni Fat na inggit sa kanya ayun, nakaw ng pera tapos pati yun GF ni Fat, inaangkin niya, nagulat na buhay pa si Fat. Ang masama pa, may plano pala siya talunin si Fat with the help yun kalaban ni Fat. Good brother. hehe

Di nakilala ni Fat si Andy nun nakabalik siya, may natatandaan siya pero di yun buo. Pero nasama siya sa final battle with the gambling lord, with the matching xray glasses. hehe

Poker went on tapos ayun, talo si gambling lord, si brother nabaril kasi kala traydor siya which is hindi then panalo si Fat. By the way, ang ending, kilala pa din niya si Andy, isasama sa Las Vegas. hehe

Crap story but good card tricks though. hehe Action? hmmm ganun lang, isang scene parang hard boiled pero crap. hehe Comedy? yun ang ayos kaso kaunti lang. Acting? halatang pilit. hehe Parang comedy na nga din eh. hehe saka si Andy Lau halatang pop star lang ang dating.

What I like sa movie is fun and galing ni Fat, I mean pano siya manalo sa laro saka yun naging amnesiac siya, ok yun. Actually, may mga drama siya napanood ko, kaso di ko alam title hehe, pwede siya sa drama. Comedy din, so versatile siya. Andy Lau, niyek ganun siya dati, pero ayun nga, lately, ok na siya. Kaso ang tagal kung pano siya naging ganun today. hehehe

Anyhow, that's it. Ah my favorite part, nun napanood ko yun, crush ko yun girl ni Andy Lau, lalo na yun scene naka green siya. hehe Sabi ko, wow sana ganyan GF ko. hahaha Well, di siya stunning or headturner pero ang ganda. After long years and one GF passed.

I realized, I mean.. Alam ko kamukha niya si RR around 80%, pero eto, grabe...

Siya na!!! haha Kaw na!!

Nakita ko to nun HS pa ko, bago ako lumipat ng d. tuazon tapos may home cable pa kami. Umaga pa lang may napanood ako nagmumura na pinoy film sa viva cinema. hehe Yun unang scene napanood ko, tumatakbo sila sa GH, nakabrief lang, initiation. hehehe

Ah bago tayo dumako dun, siyempre, simple lang naman ang story. Sid Lucero ay isang bio college student na naghahanap ng trip, ayun sumali sa frat. Sumali siya sa pinakasikat na frat sa campus, Alpha Kappa Omega.

Siyempre may initiation tapos ano ano pinagdaanan niya. Kasama niya pala yun karoom mate niya simple na si Arnie, napasubo sumali sa frat din.

May mga gusto magquit kasi sa mga initiation at pahirap, pahiya lahat na! Tapos eto pala si Arnie may syota, kuya ng syota, Master ng kabilang frat. Ayun, dun na sumabit ang Alpha kappa Omega, lalo na yun napatay si Arnie. Nakaganti sa huli, kahit may mga namatay tapos, ayun tuwang tuwa nagpapaddle si Lucero sa huli. hehe Master na kasi!

Pero siyempre, Mike De Leon yan, dinaan sa panalo na scenes!!! hehe Mike is my fave pinoy director, kahit parang dalawa pa lang napanood ko, ayos na. hehe Yun isa Kisapmata, grabe yun!! Napanood ko yun sa channel 2, semana santa pa. Ayos. hehe Pero galing... Sana may mga katulad siya ngayon..

Speaking of scenes, siyempre very detailed ang scenes. Marami sila, pag inisa isa ko yun, mahaba tong blog na to. hehe

Ah yun screening pa lang, nakakatawa na. Lalo na si bisaya, grabe, akalain mo tatagal siya, saka si Santillian, magaling si Noel Trinidad dun. Di lang comedy ginawa niya dun ha. Tapos gusto ko din yun cameo appearances, like Charito Solis, Armida, Johnny Delgado na payat ha at bagay pala sa kanya ganun. hehe At ang matinding cameo, Chanda Romero!! hahaha Take it easy Pacoy, we have long night ahead of us!!! Ayos!! Paborito ni Al indot. hehe

Di lang naman yun ang nagustuhan ko sa film, kundi yun pace saka emotions ng film. Ibig ko sabihin, kahit parang 80's pa yun, pero nangyayari pa din hanggang ngayon yun eh. Kagaya lang nun isang araw, may balita na may natodas dahil sa hazing, ayun naisip ko, parang sobra ata sila ng panood sa batch 81. hehe

Seriously, marami naman tao or students na sumasali sa frat dahil di lang trip, kundi may ibang rason din di ba? Kagaya ni Santillian, ang tanda na, prof na, sumali pa ng frat, kaw na! hehe Friendship and camaraderie nga naman hanap niya, ewan ko yun bisaya, saling pusa ata yun. hehe

Pero tama naman yun, lalo ngayon may iba sumasali kasi din sa connection di ba? O support din nakukuha sa frat kaya may naeenganyo talaga. Yun nga lang wag lang malasin.. Kaya ako, di ako nahilig sumali diyan, mahirap na, baka wala na nagsusulat dito. hehe

Ah kahit sobrang low budget ng film, ayun may nagagawa pa din na maganda. From soundtrack, hanggang sa set, parang di ata sila gumastos masyado. Siguro sa extra saka yun away sa huli, props. hehe

Mga artista din panalo. Siyempre, Mark Gil, noong nakikita ko siya sa Magkaribal, talagang tumatanda siya pero magaling pa din. Kagaya sa batch 81, bagay sa kanya yun papel. Makikita at maramdaman mo yun kalokohan niya saka yun pursigue na maging master niya. Kahit yun master nila, sila Vince and Gonzalez, astig di ba. Kahit yun GF ni Sid na nanay naman yun Sid Lucero sa tunay na buhay, ok din ha. Ah yes, yun ang nanay niya. hehe Magaling yun papel niya kahit ilan linya lang sinabi niya. Ayoko ko lang yun character ni Sandy Andolong, magaling si Sandy pero character niya lang, bad trip, iniwan si Arnie sa kangkungan. hehe

At maarte pa, parang may kilala akong ganun.. hmmmmm

Yun mga kasama ni Sid panalo din, mula kay bisaya, tapos yun photographer, yun Roxas, si Prof, Pacoy, galing, tama lang sila grupo para sa storya. Lalo na yun scene na birthday ni Gonzalez, galing ng scene na yun, sama sama talaga sila. Kahit isa lang ang beer. =)

Nakakagulat lang, noong napanood ko sa Viva Cinema, ayun may cut. Nalaman namin may cut noong bumili si Al ng VCD noong college, ayun kawawa pala yun gonzalez, ganun pala siya namatay. Pero nakabawi naman siya sa kalabang frat, may dala pa naman itak eh. hehe

Cruel cycle talaga yun frat, well, problema na nila yun at sana, ingat na lang sila at sana wala na masyado gulo. Siguro para makuha nila yun, simulan nila sa initiation, wala naman ungguyan o lokohan di ba. Mahirap yun, lalo na pagnagaaral. Sana baguhin nila yun systema na ganun.

Marami kasi nasasayang na buhay pag nadidisgrasya..

Most of the film pinoy critics, pili nila Himala as the best pinoy film. Napanood ko siya, yes sa channel 2 semana santa. hehe Sabi ko, hmmmmm maganda at magaling, pero iba talaga yun Batch 81.. Iba yun dating eh saka yun pagkakagawa, parang kakamulat sa ganun violence sa tin lipunan saka siyempre masterpiece of acting. Yun tamang acting lang sa ganun situati

I was very tired these past weeks. Wow weeks.. Maybe because of the things na kailangan tapusin, pressure dito and there, it never ends. Pero ngayon nakakahinga naman, thanks to those events na over na. Tapos yun deadline pa, medyo kaunti then eto writing. CRAP na din, very panalo Saturday out tapos yun lang.

Two days ago, or even yesterday, I was so down and quite depressed. Trouble here and there. Well thanks to this song, for at least 4 mins, the frustration is gone. The song is not about emotions either. hehe

The song came from what I heard, is their worst album. Evil Empire. It has like what, 9 songs and I bought the cd for quite expensive at those old times. Damn. hehe I thought that this song is included in the first album but dammit, it's in this album.

It's worth it of course! hehe

One of the rock songs that make me jump or be in the rock mode. I wish I am Tom, god guitarist or even Zack who has powerful lyrics in this song. Perfect..

I saw their MTV for this one, damn great, powerful and it's off the map!!! It shows how Tom does the riffs and rhythm of the song then how Zack peforms, the other two? They've done their parts. hehe

Damn, my fave song from this band, simply amazing. Purely balanced, not much shouting from Zack and the guitar solo from Tom, Godlike! hehe

RATM self titled album I must say one of the best rock albums. The best RATM album.. that album was made circa 1992 and still the sounds of it, timeless.. Way beyond the 1992 sounds time. Well, even Nirvana I guess. hehehe

I saw this vid when I bought the DVD in tower quiapo. Collection of their concerts and MTV's. I love this song even before I watched this video. At first kinda slow and kick in the great Zack's rapping vocals then all of the sudden, Tom's guitar god like skills sets in.. Then yeah the solo is magnificent. When I watched it on video, it's damn real. hehe I think those bands with dj's are trying to immitate it but not equalled. Sorry dudes. hehe

The lyrics, this is a rebel poem. A poem about well, awareness to the powers of society, namely government and corporations. Which I know yeah I'm a corporate slave. hehe But come on, some of them, they just don't know their limitations. Government doesn't do what is right for the people, or how about keeping the funds. Some corporations well, tend to just exhaust you then in the end, they will fire you because they want to. Example? Hmmmm one station and a flying flag. hehe

Anyhow, the bass is at least useful in this song, good bass and drums, just right. Those other two member, they done their part.

I have been thinking, my 4th loved song should be, D generation X? hehe Nah, I have many choices for the 4th place but this one was higher because it was like it's a pop song but a strong song. Of course, I do love US bands. In the US, they have a lot of good bands, some great.. Well, only one for me stands out.. Rage against the machine!!!!

While listening to college days, or even HS days, that was the time, Linkin crap sets in. Getting famous.. But you have Limp Bizkit, Korn and Deftones with so called nu metal. New kind of rock music with a fusion of turntables and old skul hip hop then rock music. Except for Korn of course..

I discovered this damn band wayback high school, as they releasted their 3rd studio album, Battle of Los Angeles, which is damn great! I first look at them and heard at MTV, they're rocking awesome. From well, simple bass of Tim C who went crazy at a MTV awards night. hehe Brad Wilk at drums hmmm simple again but just right for the band. You have a guitar god under Tom Morello, looks simple but hella good at guitars, especially when he does the rifts and standalone in betweens, damn good in live as well. He's damn good and crazy, I love it. hehe He's one of the best lead guitar in rock, history. period. Iconic.

Then another icon is in this band under the name of Zack dela Rocha. The guy with dreadlocks yet with a powerful voice and sense of fight for freedom and patriotism. I guess. hehe But he's serious about it, look at his lyrics and how he say it. I know it's like rap, but damn it just fits right. Well, he is also one of the iconic rock vocals we have in this generation, even not that famous, he should be in the hall of fame as well. The whole band. They are only one of the bands that not only making good music but also awareness politics and social action. If I were the president, I'll invite them here to have a concert, for free. Of course, I'll pay them. hehe

You won't believe that because of them, if there were times I'm angry or down or in a bad mood, I listen to them, until now.. They indeed have a rage in their song. A rage that is for the better... Soothes away the anger or bitter and fear..

Definitely, my favorite US band.. Yes, after JD and New Order, they are next in my list. I do hope that after they united these days, they should go back to studio and do more albums!!!! You sucka!!
