Hell with that cybercrap law whatever!!!!! hehehe Naisip ko lang, what if.. Ang course ko eh Com Sci, tapos I choose system administration or magaling sa MIS.. Management information systems.. Or kaya magaling ako sa programming.. Malamang, dapat alam mo ding maghack! The first thing to do is try to hack financial institutions! hehe Trip lang. Eh sa call center/bpo nagagawa yun, paano pa kaya yun mga outside hackers. Kaunti espionage lang sa company, some loose customer info or kahit sa website and google, then tadah! Pwede na try maghack. I read one article sa isang magazine, na may isang criminal sa states which I forgot the dude's name.. Grabe, ang galing ng ginawa niya!! Sa sobrang galing, eh until now, di siya mahanap.

Paano ba naman, dati siya nagwork sa malaking US brokerage firm, then got the process on how to apply for mortgage ata, then some searching the SSN websites, then has an automatic dialer sa computer, voice changer then some luck.. Syphoned hundreds or even millions of dollars to pensioners, ang malas eh yun military pensioners pa. Grabe, tapos di siyempre siya papayag mahuli. Inayos niya muna paano mag launder ng money which is to tell you the truth, it's a training sa financial institutions. From my experience, we should know how it works. Eh siya, complicated ang trail kaya di siya mahuli. At nung nahuli ang trail and like the transmission nung ginagawa niya, authorities were too late. Until now, I don't know kung nahuli na siya. 

How about that I love you virus? Geez pinoy lang gumawa. Eh kung di naman financial institutions.. Games naman ang ihack, or simply the OS! First target, MAC OS in it's mobile devices. Kaya jailbreak agad. Mautak si Android, pagbigay sa other mobile manufacturers, yun main code lang pala.. Tapos the rest of the OS for the phone eh sa manufacturer na, kaya parang walang jailbreak sa mga Samsung, LG, Sony and others. Kaya kumikita pa si Android/Google through apps. By the way, their OS for mobiles are free as they claim. Pero yun MAC, next month, may beta na for jailbreak sa IOS 6. hehe Games din sa console kung matyaga ka maghack, imbes tapusin mo yun laro, may cheat ka na! hehe

Then, yes.. As a hacker, and yes, spying for intel.. Malamang, get other info through web na pwede alam mo na.. To sell, use it to your advantage or worse insider trading. Parang benta din na ikakasaya ng trading players especially in business or stocks.  

Or well.. Penetrate the business process through certain programs they use. But that's impossible unless genius ka sa lahat ng computer applications available on earth. God like ka na. hehe Kakabaliw ata yun.

At ang pinakamalakas na trip eh  lalo na dito sa pinas.. Just hack a website and nobody will catch you! hehe Evident naman, do that in the US or other countries, sa kulungan ka babagsak.

Dito? They are still interviewed!!!! Ang tindi naman. Nakasuot pa ng Guy Fawkes mask! Ang kapal talaga! hehe Pero tapang di ba. And sad to say, as much that law is a law but well nastop because of the TRO pero it's just another bland style of justice here. Nasusulat nga, hanggang dun na lang. Paano tayo uunlad? I mean, other laws are existent and binding but not executed properly. Mas maraming ganun kaysa sa working laws.

And this law, eh stagnant to. Kahit walang TRO or even that Libel provision of the law will be modified or removed, none will happen. Hackers will be more aggressive and they will test the limits of the law, and loopholes will be just there and yes.. As much we want to protect property rights, personal abuses, or simply catch cyber criminals, this law won't work. We need to have great hackers that works for the government, great gadgets to catch those suckers, and political will, then apply specific laws na din. 

For now, pag nandiyan ang cybercrime law na yan.. 

Hackers will arise! hehe Mabuti nga, di pa ko naging com sci grad pero in the coming years, kailangan na magaral ng gusto ko... 

Pag kaya ko na, ano kayang website ihack ko dito..

(terms and definitions)


Part 1

Ok, this time it's about some terms or definitions, or words that usually used in the BPO industry. It may have some gay lingo because well it is used in this industry, especially when you have them in your team. We use it sometimes as a form of expression especially when you're in operations. It's like a glossary of sorts, and yes, this is just the beginning of my worthwhile and ongoing experience with this industry.  Sorry it's not arranged because I just used random thoughts for this, whatever comes to my head and yes, this might be long. Very long.


Floor - it's the term used for the working area itself, you'll see the cubicles, stations, chairs, computers and the dreaded headset and yes, hardphone itself. This is where you work, you live, and sometimes, almost feel die for the work, especially if the customers are not good to you. It's a pretty noisy place. 

Pantry - the place you eat, other words, it's like your canteen in school or restaurant in work. They sell food, or other stuff, even prepaid call load. Don't expect the concessionaire has good food to serve because it depends in the concessionaire itself. Number one rule there is CLAYGO. After you eat, especially if you're using the pantry's plates or utensils, bring it to the proper disposal for cleaning or well waste management. It's quite tedious sometimes but well, you don't want to be reprimanded by security for not bringing used plates to the wash area. Geez.. Or how about leftover food or boxes from takeouts/deliveries. Just simply follow the pantry's rules. 

Ops - short term for operations. This is where the org chart works, your OM to TL then you, agent, CSR or drone. 

OM/Senior TL/Higher Boss/SAMO - Operations Manager for short. Higher than your TL, makes the final decisions, makes your life miserable if she/he wants to. Approves decisions beyond your TL's limit or yours, and yes, sets goals for the cluster, ways to decrease the number of agents or keep them. Also, if they are available, conducts final interviews before you leave the company.

TL/Boss/AMO(in one center that's the abbreviation) - Team leader, he/she will be your guide, friend or enemy, tormentor or savior. Sets goals for yourself and the team. Makes initial decisions about your calls, sup calls, credits, adjustments, returns, others,  or for yourself. He/she will make your life easier in the floor or living hell if you can stay put. The one will back you up especially if everything fails after you've done all the solution. The one who might leave you in times if he/she doesn't know what to do. Can be your reliable friend or worst enemy as days goes by. It depends in your working relationship with him or how the whole team works with him. That same goes with other TL's in other teams, some of them you don't want to approach or some you'll approach them first before your own TL. 

Team - a group of people under the same ranking or work, under a team leader. For short, slaves of TL's, OM's or even the company itself. It may composed of same attitudes (which never happens) or different ages, attitudes or preferences (which always happens) that working hard achieving the same goal. Passing the stats or if possible, higher scores over the goals. Don't be surprised at the first day you're quiet with your team. As days goes by, you'll work with them, and there are people that don't care. Some guillible, noisy, fun to be with. Some just don't want to go along or well, doesn't mingle even in team meetings. Some just disappear which is pretty normal in this industry. If the team goes well, all of you should be happy, if the scores are down and did not pass the stats... Hope and pray that you'll be working with the team until next month or say goodbye to them. Yes, at those times, there will be heads rolling and finger pointing which sometimes, demoralize the team. Don't forget the never ending coaching and motivation you'll get at those bad times. In good times team morale is sky's the limit, in bad times, everybody is thinking of getting out. 

stats/metrics - it's a measurement how you or your team performs in a certain time. It ranges from daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly for others and yes for yearly appraisal, yearly stats. These numbers composes in each skill you need to perform which I'll discuss later. You'll see it below. Some stats are not numerical wise but more of descriptive format like other companies do but it gives the same affect to the agent. It's either you pass or fail. Yes, don't explain or reason out when it comes of failing performance, the TL or OM will just tell, the stats shows otherwise. They only use those reasons for coaching and feedback purposes to improve your performance. Numbers does show. Just accept these numbers. 

agent/CSR/rep/colleague/team mate - your job, simply customer service representive, inbound customer service representative or simply you're the representative of the client you are working for. Serving customer's needs or wants. 

inbound - customers calling the company. customers calling in for service request, sales, technical support, disputes, complaints, modifying service, general information. It depends what is the client does. Or your company does. Yes, even customers that are lost in a certain place, they call us. 

outbound - agents or representatives of the company calls the customer about the company's services. Usually it's for sales, selling a client's product or services, like sh*t cleaner or credit cards, mobile phones and even membership cards. Anything that your client is selling.. You call customers to follow up disputes, or returns that requested, credits that are promised or broken promises. You also call customers who doesn't pay bills or deliquent customers that sneek out not paying what they ordered. As long you will call the customer from your hardphone, that's outbound. You even call them to check if they are ok with the services you provided. Damn.

In house company - BPO companies that the owner itself is the main office overseas. It's like they did expand their business here even not really giving the services like those in their main office overseas. Good example, JP Morgan chase, they don't have like a local bank here but they do have an extension office here for their financial services from their US clients only. If you are an employee of these companies, meaning you are indeed an employee not a representative or a contractor. However, other companies does have branches here not only for outsourcing work but also expansion of business here in the country. 

3rd party/outsource/contractor - BPO companies that are servicing companies from overseas. Companies that decided to outsource or branch out, move their other business operations or services without putting up an expansion office in the country. These companies has the biggest share working in the BPO industry because not all in house or big companies want to put up branches here due to well big expenses and hassle. These companies earn through what bulk of work they can handle from their clients. A good example of this, well let's go with the biggest, Convergys. They cater a lot clients and most of their clients came from different big US telco companies. You are working as a customer service representative of a US telco company but you are not with that US telco. You work for Convergys and no one else. 

Outsourcing - type of business strategy that moves a function of business in a company's operations from their homeland or mother country to a different country who is qualified to do the work. Example, an US satellite provider decided to pull out the inbound customer service function from Denver, CO to well, here at Makati City, Philippines. Reason? Instead paying around $8-$10 per hour (not sure the hour pay rate) in Colorado, that can be translated here as a one month salary of an agent who has almost the same skills. Cost cutting and savings plays a role in a company's decision to move business elsewhere. Simply saving money. 


For now, that's it.. More terms at the next one. I decided to cut this one because, you might get information overload. =) It's a lot, I got carried away..  I think this part will have more of this kind.. hehe

Damn, wala pang prospect. hehe I knew it like I posted like 10-12 unplanned posts ago, pag dumating pa ko dito at wala pa, next year na lang. Wag naman sa work. I'm preparing na for interview bukas. Sana may prospect na for work. Ah yes, at last I found the gadget that will play for all my movies. Ainol Novo 7 Flame really not only met my expectations but also exceeded it. I'll tell it later. hehe Masasabi ko lang, panis ang galaxy tab wifi 7 inches, or even Ipad 3, or kahit yun lalabas na ipad mini. Mura na, may quality pa! Kahit sa china gawa. hehe

I can't believe I was able to get some rests at buenas these past days. Except siguro sa Taken 2! haha

Napagisip ko na din na mukhang magbabawas ako ng post per month next year. Pero may target pa din, around 10 na lang siguro, the reason behind that is may gagawin pa ko isa pa. hehe I want to thank Him for these past days, going back from that last day sa work. I pray na lang na di yun ang last day ko sa work this year. hehe

What else, ah yeah mukhang tanggap ko na this year, alat talaga. Pero importante eh nakapagpahinga ako, at yes, there is some road map to change and success for the following years. With all those times na idle ako, mabuti pala kahit ganun para maplano ko ng tama ang buhay ko. Although may ilan bago pero definitely, next year, iba na to. At nagsisimula na nga, every small step. 

Never give up on doing good, and have faith.. Love na din, kahit zero lovelife. hehe

Ano pa, ayun sayang baste, imbes na sure champion na, inalat pa. Iba talaga line up ng Letran pero kahit sa kanila ako magcheer sa finals, iba yun play at line up ng Beda. Three peat na ata to. hehe

UST ganun talaga, muntikan na eh, kaso pang 5 peat yun ADMU. Ok lang, next year UST sa finals at ADMU? Lucky if they will go to final four. Lalo wala na silang generous backer like MVP. hehe GO USTe!!!!!!

I don't know kung ok ang kanta ginawa ko, just for fun and yeah why jazz music? I love it kasi lalo na pag gabi tapos may date, then dine in a serene and cool place na romantic, panalo. Hay.... 

Mukhang malakas ang Air 21 ha at lalo naman yun ROS, akalain mo wala pang Tiu at Lee, 2-1 record. Geez, scary team. Others pababa, lalo na yun Alaska. =( Sometime nga makapanood ng live na PBA game. 

Akala ko manonood ako ng nippon cinema without subtitles forever, thanks to one website, that will solve the problem at yun brazilian flick na download ko na wala palang subtitle. hehe Bwisit!

At ano pa? Hmmmmm nakabalik na din ako first session at so far, missed that session at lalo na din ang 3rd session, kakabalik lang kahapon. Thanks!!! 

Yun lang muna, hehe Importante makahanda na for tomorrow for a new work near sa bahay.

Beware eating at, Mang Inasal!!

Note: I was not paid by anyone or enticed by anyone to say those harsh words at those previous resto's.. Including this one. It's my opinion and no one else. Sorry if I haven't include this to the other 2 food business. But sorry na lang kung same din sentiment nung iba. =)


Mabuti nga at dumami na menu nila but sad to say.. Hanggang ganun talaga sila. The last time I ate here was months ago and I felt well deprived not for good food, pero quality food. I ordered yun fave ko dati pa na bbq inasal which nakaka 3-4 na kanin ko. 

When I saw that order nung last time, I asked myself, baka sa ibang table to or mali lang serve nila. I said to myself, holy Sh*t! Bakit naging parang 5 stick na maliliit na lang yun bbq tapos yun tipong pang isaw na laman. Ang liliit! Kahit 2 kanin solve na ko eh. hehe Sunog ang 99 pesos.. No need for extra rice. Well for the chicken it's still the same but nah... They have some problems.

If you read my previous posts about them, don't be surprised that you'll be reading the same words all over the again. Yes, first one, service! Siyempre pag upo namin, aba may kalat pa sa mesa. Then pagdating nung order bawat isa dun lang naglinis.. Good job! Ang tagal pa.. Mabilis sila pag refill ng kanin at nung unli coke. Well, dahil na din sa kaunti lang ang crew at very tight place yun branch nila. Given na yun. 

Sunod, yes quality.. Nalason na ko sa bangus sisig remember nung umorder kami ni Kuya Allan, aba 150 tapos si Kuya lang kaya umubos. Ayos! eh naayos nila through pork sisig 99 pesos unli rice ata.. Well, sad to say, pilit na yun 2 kanin for me pag sa pork sisig. Kakalungkot. Rice is well kundi naman NFA rice, sobrang langkit naman! At pag mainit, parang snowball na mainit ang dating. How sad.. Then the new items sa menu, although promising and yes talagang nathreat sila sa Chicboy, nakita ko na yun ibang order at parang mas malungkot ata yun bago lagay nila. Geez, parang nagsusunog lang ng pera dito. hehe

Lastly, hmmmmm nothing new, menu. Kahit 50 dishes ang nandiyan basta ang quality and style na pagtitipid ang gagawin nila eh iapply sa mga dishes na yan. Ano pa maiimprove dun? Siguro yun unli coke nakatulong pero not for me since di naman ako sa coke lagi. Di naman ako nagsoftdrinks lagi. Kahit ice tea, iwas na ko. hehe Pero yun nga, with what happened sa fave ko bbq order na pinaliit, paano pa yun ibang order? Pero masasabi ko masarap pa din yun halo ng chicken oil, toyo and suka. At sili. Yeah, di nila kaya gayahin yun garlic. hehe Tipid kasi.

What to do to change my mind? Maybe they can start sa quality ng food. Then check which sa menu ang papatok or they can simply go head on with chickboy sa menu, since ganun naman ang labanan, wag na sila mahiya or well, don't put items that trying to sway customers from competitors dahil wala lang sila nun. Eh kung mas panget pala, sayang lang ang budget, kahit si Jollibee pa may-ari. 

At service, please... Proactive service, some greetings and yes cleanliness and some ergonomics perhaps. Lahat ng branches nila masikip except siguro dun sa centris,  pero yun iba, ang sikip. Parang chinese restaurant, grabe, sabagay, chinese naman yun unang may-ari, tapos si Jollibee tsinoy din. Damn, what a dreadful experience with that resto.

Anyway, just beware and eat at your own risk. Better yet, buti sa mini stop sulit kahit yun lang ang menu nila at ok talaga kumain dun, minsan take out pa ok lang sakin!! Take note, they are not even a restaurant at ok na ok sila. =) 

Not Showing: Safety not Guaranteed

Why are you going back in time for? 

That's the lingering question running in every character in this wonderful indie flick.. Damn, until now I don't have a answer to that question. 

Anyway, this film caught my attention from its trailer some months ago. It also says from the producers of Little Miss Sunshine, which is great, so yeah.. It's about a funny ad written in a newspaper, a dude is looking for someone going time travel with him, you need to bring your own weapons, safety not guaranteed and yes, you'll be paid once you get back, he only done this once before. Ah yes, the editor wants to check if this is true, and he is accompanied by 2 interns. Jeff is the editor, then Darius (a girl) and Arnau (indian male) are the interns. So, they went to the person's place and discovered the guy who posted the ad is real, the dude's name is Kenneth. The journey starts as they found his place, Jeff tried to convince Kenneth to be his partner but failed. Then Darius comes over to Kenneth and he likes the attitude of Darius so he let her in with this time travel mission. Jeff also has other things in mind, he also wants to check his high school fling at the present. He also wants to help Arnau to enjoy the trip! They encountered everything as they discovered whether Kenneth is really nuts or telling the truth.. That's it. 

Sorry cannot spoil, it will ruin your viewing pleasure if I tell what happened. Go and watch this film!!! =)

A near perfect fun lovely film has it's flaws. One was even the film is short, there were moments that quite slowed down the pace, some dull dialogue especially at the middle of the film.  Another is, not really a flaw but a suggestion, I hope there was a romantic connection early at the film, maybe at the middle of the film. There was for Jeff, but for Darius, well it's only at the end.. I just want to see how Aubrey Plaza takes on some romantic acting. 

Speaking of her, yes lets go what's really made this film remarkable. Yes, the great casting for this film! Damn, Aubrey Plaza is great, like other critics, this is her film, at last! Now, I'm interested of looking in her other films than Scott Pilgrim.. I want to see Parks and Recreation, hmmm Other flicks she's into. Even she's into deadpan comic but she has great upside for very romantic one. Wow, how about her next flick? To do list. I'm going to wait for that one. She just delivered a fantastic performance, funny, clever and lovely. I love what she did at the second part of the film, as she well have feelings and not doubting Kenneth even at the course of the film, he's damn weird. Of course, don't miss the first part because she's very deadpan funny and quite sexy. =) Ah yeah, I saw some of her other skits, hostings in youtube and can't believe she's really good at deadpan comedy, especially if its about her life. It reminds me of Daria, that MTV cartoon, the snobbish eyeglass chick. Well I hope she'll have more flicks and other than deadpan skill acting. I've seen a lot of interesting actresses this year, not those big names but she stood out for this year.

If you love Jake Johnson at New Girl, he's the slacker friend of Jess there.. You'll definitely laugh and go for him in this film. Brash yet funny guy, think of Bradley Cooper less the great looks. But he's damn funny and crazy especially the scene that he encourage Arnau to dig a chick! I also love what he did at that scene were he met his High School fling and well, sad ending for him. But anyway, he's just damn crazy fun dude there. The indian dude also done his job of being a simple nerd and keeping himself in place until he nails the chick! =) Ah, the boss of Jeff, the former fling, and yes... Don't forget Kenneth played by Mark Duplass, which is utterly convincing at 90% of the film that's he crazy.. I love how he delivered how being nerd and crazy then he's vindicated in the end. So you know already the ending of this film. I love how he really plan anything and yes, even the parts of being frustrated, you feel that emotion that he's been bullied and felt nobody understand him. Kristen Bell also made some effective appearance, so yeah, give credit to screenwriter and director for giving the right script to the right actors. Actors that I don't like in this film, those 2 agents, damn they seem to be lost. hehe

Yes, give credit to both screenwriter and director for the pace of the film, even this flick was quite short, I'm surprised that they plotted the story just the right amount of scenes for the film. I mean, even the scenes were not that many, they were able to show the right pace and proper editing to show the story to the viewer. Couple that with clever, funny and some profane dialogue, you have a fun and great film! And yes, to think most of the props were simple or not elaborate, the film was presented using effective location and clean cinematography. The screenwriting helped to make this film from comedic into a sci fi flick all in one. It's not like Eternal Sunshine that it's scifi love story in one pace, this film it's separate from the first part until the last part of the film. 

Lastly, the music! Although it uses only some songs, the music theme of the film suits for it's story and the pace as well. Nice songs used to enjoy watching the film but since it's short, they only used like 3 songs for the film but I love how it's patterned for the film. 

I can say, yeah I know it's an unusual pair but Kenneth and Darius team seems to have good chemistry, I hope like spill.com says, this film, definitely, they can make a sequel but it should good written. Or a TV series but well they will fix the dialogue or prequel because a lot questions arised especially about Kenneth. But anyhow, if they can pull something off in a good way, as long they have well Jeff, Darius and Kenneth back, Aubrey Plaza is there, so I'm sold. Aubrey is lovely! Oh.. =)

I can say this flick, one of the best of this year, definitely in my top five or top ten.. Or even this one can go with my usual type of flicks, Lost in Translation, 500 Days, Eternal Sunshine, Singles as well.. Alternative, hip and fun, lovely, hearfelt flick. It's short but worth it!

To answer that question above, hmmmmm I want to go back in time maybe just before college. Or a some years back perhaps.. 

Definitely, I'll should have a partner going back in time. 

This is the fave lines I love in the film, I have many but in the end, I thought this was worthless, but Kenneth is damn right. 

Kenneth: To go it alone or to go with a partner. When you choose a partner you have to have compromises and sacrifices, but it's a price you pay. Do i want to follow my every whim and desire as I make my way through time and space, absolutely. But at the end of the day do I need someone when I'm doubting myself and I'm insecure and my heart's failing me? Do I need someone who, when the heat gets hot, has my back? 
Darius: So, do you? 
Kenneth: I do.

Request for credit/refund/adjustment

After multitasking na nasulat ko na before that I learned from being an CSR. Well, isa sa mga natutunan ko din while working as a customer service representative.. Processing credits, or asking for adjustment. In our end, it's quite easy to do it, alamin mo lang kung tama lang ibigay yun adjustment sa customer or not. At kung beyond your limit, ask TL's approval. Pag ayaw ni customer, edi sup call o bahala siya sa buhay niya. hehe

Dito sa atin, unfortunately.. It's not present here. I have few examples to show why.. One time, eh lagi naman bumabagyo pero etong bayantel eh after ng bagyo, ok yun DSL pero walang telephone line. It went on for days at tumawag na ko sa customer service hotline nila.. They were helpful and yes, may tech na umayos agad ha, within half a day. Pero nung tinanong ko about adjustment because it's almost 2 weeks kaming walang telephone line, sabi nila makikita sa next bill yun adjustment. No amount advised to me.

The bill arrived and yes! Wow, I have a 50 pesos adjustment sa telephone bill ko. 50 pesos out of 1400 pesos binabayad ko sa bundle. For almost 2 weeks without phone line. Well, siguro inisip nila phone line lang naman wala, ok na yun 50 pesos. Bad trip! Eh kung sa international account yun, edi dapat bundle price and credit yun apply di ba? Well, mukhang may limit ata ang mga ungas. hehe Bwisit, pero di na ko umasa ng malaki, kasi the impression of our big companies not giving that right adjustment or consideration eh di present. Dinadaan lang sa customer service. Kung may survey lang, bagsak na sila. 

Another thing, aba recently lang.. Well, Kuya made a request for withdrawal sa ATM machine. Tapos wala pala lumabas na money, then of course, nireport niya sa BPI kasi yun machine nila yun ginamit niya.. BDO by the way is yun debit card, aba eh nakita niya yun balance, binawasan pa din kahit no money was given to him! It's a big amount.. So BPI done their part which I understand kasi di naman sa kanila yun debit card, naconfirm na walang pera lumabas. Bale nirefer si Kuya to go to BDO.. Aba, after some discussions and sort, inamin nila na maraming customers nila ang ganun nangyari, they will check about it and yun lang.. Days passed and nothing happened, pagpunta sa branch, eh yun staff tumatawag lang sa hotline ng BDO to report o make follow up sa case, aba wala pa din?

Siyempre, nagalit na si Kuya at naipit na siya sa ganun nangayari. Kahit sa kin mangyayari yun, talagang magagalit ako at kukulitin ko sila. Ok lang kung maliit na amount, eh kaso malaki.. Di pwede palampasin yun. Well, BPI has it's problems din pagdating sa wrong balance o charges pero naayos nila kahit medyo matagal. Etong BDO, mukhang siyam siyam o worse, no money will be returned to you even it's their fault. That's quality customer service for you! hehe Pathetic.. Kahit nagsulat na ko ng demanding letter, they seem don't care. I advised Kuya na BSP or DTI na pagwala pa din yun pera niya. Hay...

Well, kung sa international call center yun like kami, di na pinatatagal ang ganun. Valid ang reason kaya nawala ang pera, edi ask TL approval, make the adj and rest assure the customer, ok na. Balik na yun pera at siyempre don't forget to apologize. 

Sa atin, wala ata nun. Di naman lahat ng companies ganun, pero yun culture ng customer service and especially giving credits or adjustments, o lalo na sa local telco accounts like Globe, number 1 sa dami ng reklamo sa postpaid nila.. Napakabagal at kung malas malas ka, wala na din adjustment o credit man lang sa hassle. We, consumers here left no choice but to hope na ayusin o bigyan ka ng magandang adjustment sa bill because of such mishap.

Kaso mukhang matatagalan pa bago ayusin ng mga companies ang kanilang culture towards adjustments or credits. Well, nangyayari ito mabilis pag airline but come on, bago mo makuha yun dapat eh makikipagaway ka pa.. Cebu Pac is perhaps has the stories to tell pag sa mga ganyan. Kaya sana.. 

For all the companies, lalo na yun may bills, eh sana ayusin naman nila yun process ng credit and adjustment kasi bihira na nga magask ng credit eh pinagdadamot pa. Pag international account nga, kahit di pwede bigyan ng credit yun customer, nabibigyan pa din kasi intindihin dapat. Sa tin kasi, companies don't understand such situation of it's clients, customers.. Yun lang sana, magbago ang process o well.. Proactively, give the right credit o adjustment right to the customer di ba? 

Well, I cannot ask for more than 50 pesos para sa outage ng service naman.

We cannot ask for faster process of solving the problem of my brother kasi siyempre pag nagsumbong pa sa agency, mas matagal pa yun kasi Gov't. hehe Geez, kahit masakit, sinasabi ko na lang kay Kuya, wait na lang. 

Wait something good to happen.

Eh kung sa international center lang yun, kung ako rep, para matapos na sir, 700 pesos adjustment ok na? Para di na maescalate. Good record naman si customer, first time manghingi. hehe

At yun pera niyo sir, sige check muna namin, mga 24-48 business hours, pag ok na investigation ng ibang team namin, credit na agad yun pera with service charge refunded. Di na ulit mangyayari to sir. 

Assurance at fast processing makes good customer service. Naks. Hehe

At my fingertips, the Space Shuttle Endeavour!

There are many ways to enjoy strolling around with my little son. Maybe it's time to go something different. Instead of going to parks, or malls.. Why not go to a place something educational? Museum was a good choice but let's go something special. We were lucky that this Shuttle museum was quite near at our house. We thought, well let's see it through our own eyes!!!

We've decided to go seeing the decomissioned Space Shuttle Endeavour instead. As I thought I can see that shuttle in movies or discovery channel documentaries, it's a special time to see the real thing. A big thing! A very big for an airplance or well, an airline perhaps. 

A great time to go was around the earliest in the morning, however you will not see it right away. As you see in my previous pictures, before it landed to the airstrip, it was accompanied by well, a big airline made for carrying that space shuttle. The shuttle landed safely to the ground and yes, there were a lot of people waiting to see, glimpse of the last space shuttle launched by NASA. I can't wait to really come close, and yes, I don't mind carrying my little son with me.. Before taking pictures, we were able to go around and see it close. Damn, it's really big. I was thinking if this giant airplane can still run! Many were just looking in awe at this marvelous invention. Although it's expensive and it may hurt the countries financial health, well it's worth of every penny. It's worth of building this one after that accident happened before. 

I don't how my son will enjoy this great experience but he seems to be happy, he's all smiles to the crowd and maybe she saw how big this shuttle was. Maybe he's thinking riding it one day. But no matter how he reacted to this special trip of ours, I hope he enjoyed the time seeing this big piece of history. History of mankind that made effort to see wonders beyond our planet or even our imagination. Human beings seems doesn't stop of discovering things, or even thought that maybe we're not alone in this universe. This shuttle kept us updating that we're safe here at earth and although no incident occured of invasion or weird sightings of different race or space ships, well.. 

The importance of this shuttle was we can make a bridge going to the farther side of this universe. Evident today, well we send a pod in Mars. 

But at that time, I did cherish looking this historic shuttle. We should be proud that we were able to make this possible despite the setbacks and what happened before.. I know it's made by NASA and for US alone but well, it's a product for all mankind. I'm thinking since it will be just staying at a museum of sorts, can we still use it for space tourism? I gotta love that kind of tour, but it might be expensive for the tour, definitely I cannot pay that in my lifetime. 

For now, me and my son seemed enjoy staring at this, he was quite bubbly sitting in his stroller. As for me, even it's quite big to touch that shuttle, maybe I can touch it using my fingertips. 

Wondering this thing was small, compare to the whole universe..

Maybe smaller, or smallest. 

But our dreams are bigger than this shuttle, bigger even than our Endeavour.

flashbacks: Sliding Through

Lesson learned, wear dependable shoes when it rains. Lalo na kung ang lalakarin eh bakal. Geez..

Anyway, this happened a week before that unforgettable habagat flood. 

That time, I was in a normal get up, punta lang ako kay Dad para samahan si Gerro the usual labas, kain and laro para malibang siya. Then while on a trip, going there, aba lumakas ang ulan at nakikita ko yun commonwealth eh binabaha pala. Dammit, mabuti may payong ako at gamit ko yun jacket ng 24/7 kasi sa sobrang lamig that time, nakaFX pa ko. 

I wore that time yun aking maasahan banana peel sandals, even for some 2 years ko na ata sa kin yun eh nagagamit ko at kahit medyo natatanggal minsan eh yun nababalik ko din. Great value for money, more less than havs. Anyway, so there, baba na ko sa foot bridge ng Ever then basa na ang paa ko then everybody sa running for their lives kasi walang payong. Yun iba may payong kaso nililipad na. Ako naman, hmmmm yun may butas na yun payong na maliit kaya ako din nababasa na pala. hehe

As I go up sa bridge tapos walking through it siyempre mabagal ako since alam ko na baka madulas ako lalo na sa suot ko. Naisip ko naman, bihira mangyari yun or let's say small chance kasi mabagal ako maglakad at ingat..

Sometimes kahit anong ingat mo eh ganun din pala.. As I go down from that foot bridge, in a split second, it's like home alone 1, I slide through at least 3 steps at narinig ko na lang may sumigaw na ale! 

Whew, mabuti na lang napakapit na lang ako sa rail and take some breaths, assess what happened to my leg or so, wala naman. I stood up and walk away. As much I want to forget it right away, mukhang hindi. Halata naman sa post na to di ba? hehe

There, I went to Dad like nothing happened then samahan si Gerro. We went to SM north and I feel great naman as sinasamahan ko si Gerro at naglalaro kami. Stroll lang sa SM at kain, usual lang.. 

Pero ang masama, pagbalik ko kay Dad at naguusap na kami, ayun parang sumasakit yun bandang right leg ko tapos pataas papunta sa butt then when I look closely, medyo mapula na. Bruises perhaps. Pero as am kinda kaya pa naman, umuwi na ko sa bahay. Hiniga ko at yun bili ng alaxan.. 

Unfortunately, after some tablets of Alaxan, it did not work.. Saturday morning, I can't move my leg and cannot get up unless I breathe and have support. Yes! Di ako papasok sa lintik na yan. hahahaha Pero ang sakit.. Sakit sa sahod and stats but anyway, I want my rest since di pa pwede sa VL at malas malas ka nga naman, wala pang healthcard at that time. 

I called Doc and said what happened, at ayun, may med cert na at the right med na reseta niya sakin. It worked! Di ko na natapos yun reseta kasi parang ilan inom lang ok na ko.. Gustuhin ko 2 days kaso baka di ko kayanin sa sahod. hehe 

Well, after that, I thought of wearing rubber shoes or kahit sandals pero kakapit sa ulan, you know kahit ganun ang flooring. I have that now, then yes may rubber shoes ako di nagagamit pero ok na at yes, pag umuulan, never use that dependable sandals. Siguro kung pupunta lang dito dito ok lang, but not on that place. hehe

Thanks to that bridge which even it doesn't rain, it's really a crampy place. But you have no other way to go kay Dad but, well tawid dun.

Taken 2

I can't believe that as much I want to give at least good credit for this flick, it seems, it earned big. It fooled a lot of people as the box office reports says and the long line I saw here at SM.. Everybody was kinda ecstatic about it. Geez, anyway, I should have watched End of Watch instead.

Of course, everybody loves the first Taken, like me.. Can't deny the surprising action role by Liam Neeson about saving his daughter from human trafickers.. I thought, well a second one should be done, at least it's either Brian is into something in trouble again through a different situation or discover how he learned those "skills" from his past missions. Sort of a prequel..

Sad to say, none of them happened in this sequel. I am surprised that they claim it has a bigger budget which I felt not, it doesn't look like one.. Except maybe for those grenades, and a lot of car crashes and one explosion. 

Well, destination was Turkey which I thought cheaper doing a flick there than in Paris. 

The sad part was the plot itself, Brian and exwife was taken this time by the father of those kidnappers in the first taken and thinking of brining their corpse in their son's graves! For short, they somewhat want revenge. Oh well, another sad part as much Maggie Grace looks better this time, quite hot frankly, all she did was to run, get some clothes and drive like hell.. Then Famke Jansen, she did was scream, breathe, more breathing, fake dead and yeah, alive. Such beautiful women and good actresses wasted their well talents in this flick. I hope the writing and screenplay allowed them to do more. 

Poor directing, as a good name shows as Olivier Megaton, it has a bad reputation of making bad flicks. Transporter 3, Columbiana and this one.. Luc Besson shouldn't give anymore damn scripts or projects for the mean time to this director. Let's say, Luc should go back into directing, action ones, not drama ones. Poor pace, less gore or not even blood, and yes, action scenes were fuzzy.. Even the car chase as well, maybe since the cars and SUV were high end brands, even the cab was a benz, the budget went to those cars.

Anyway, the only saving grace of this film was Brian, give credit to Liam Neeson. His moves still stands, going from the first Taken and I love what he said in the end, it made me laugh. It's like he is letting the main villain live, go home and stop the nonsense anyway since he can beat the hell out of them. If not, he will go on killing and he's tired of it. That was top notch acting with a poor script. 

Well, I can't cry over that 180php was gone into thin air, not really that much. I rather watch well, the first one all over again and enjoy every scene at that flick. Not in this one.

Yes, sad to say, they are now thinking for a third one.. 

What will be this time? Maybe Brian's buddies will be taken this time and needs his help. 

Ah definitely, he will find the villians, he will search for them.

Of course, he will kill them. 

Not Showing: Jiro Dreams of Sushi

 As I love Japanese Culture, from it's place, weather, language or even their media, and yes, even food. However, it doesn't mean I love all their dishes. I only love, their fried foods, rice, ramen, miso soup and teriyaki or sukiyaki perhaps. But not sushi. Geez, I also eat sushi but in the most rare times. The last time I ate one was 1 year ago and I ate one because it's part of the eat all you can menu. I ate a lot, it felt me full and yeah not really enjoyable.


However, after watching this documentary, damn.. I will eat sushi only in that place. =)

Indeed as Jiro admits, he dreams of making new sushi even in his dreams. Damn, that's how passionate in doing his job, even he's 85 years old. Going 86 perhaps this year. 

The story goes as one famous sushi restaurant in Tokyo headed a shokunin great in making Sushi or great itamae (Sushi Chef). His name is Jiro and it shows how his restaurant works, how his relationship with his 2 sons guiding them of operating his Sushi restaurant and how delicious is his menu of Sushi. The pressure of his 2 sons following their famous Father footsteps and how they will continue his legacy if he's gone. 

 Narrated by Jiro himself and his 2 sons, plus a food writer, they narrated the journey of how Jiro started, then how he works until gain recognition of getting 3 star Michelin rating (yes, the wheel brand for cars) for his restaurant. 

Interestingly, his restaurant is under a subway station and it has only 10 chairs. Plus some tables but it's not really big. However, to eat there, you need to make a reseravation for at least a month (now it became 3 months reservation!). The restaurant has no restroom, because that's how small it is. They don't cater or have other dishes than sushi and yes, no appetizers. No soy sauce in other sushi dishes they offer. 

The only flaw I can see in this film, the lack of foreigner recognition of Jiro's greatness. I mean he was recognized by Michelin but no interview from a foreigner, or at least one great foreigner chef. Although they show some pictures of famous chefs eating there, it's just it will add awe or awesomeness to how great this dude done, just serving sushi. 

The great thing about this documentary is Jiro's family. Don't look for their wives or children which I don't know if they have one, but the passion they put in just making sushi. Jiro secret is simple, just do the same thing everyday and find ways on how to improve your craft. He even said that until now, he haven't reached perfection. Damn, 85 years old, already recognized of the best chef and it's restaurant as well, still admits hasn't reached the peak of his creation. His mindset will really inspire people to do their best in what they do. Whatever you do in life and love what you do as Jiro admits, you will not be tired of doing the same thing and continue to improve and perfect the craft. I thought businessmen or empire holders are the best in this earth because of what they earn or hold, or even inspiring people now like artist, actors, or peformers.. This one is special because of the craft he have, simple craft as it looks, just making Sushi. 

There were many great facts I discovered in this film, like sushi is not only with seaweed wrapper and rice plus meat. The mouthwatering sushi that shows in slow motion on how it's done. How apprenticeship works in Japan and how the sushi business works. There were a lot to really fascinated about watching this documentary and yes, I won't be surprised if you want to go there and spend 30,000 yen for a 19 part sushi course. That's around $375, not bad. =)

The sad part of the film, as they admit.. It's getting hard to service quality sushi if the ingredients were difficult to get. As evident in climate change and yes, over fishing, the vendors or fish suppliers were having a hard time to get the best fish for the best sushi. This was evident in one scene there, the shrimp supplier was not able to give the order asked because they were only 3 kilograms available for the whole fish market! 

They were asking if the government can regulate fishing for young fishes or avoid overfishing. Jiro describes in his old times, great tuna is available right away when the market opens at the morning. Now, it's hard to get one, especially companies making sushi available in every single store in Japan. His sons describe sushi was really expensive going back old days. 

I can say, well.. This documentary is a must for food lovers or even those who are not. It's my first time to watch a japanese documentary but well it's produced and directed by an american company, it is still a good documentary to watch. Although not great because it's a specific topic is discussed, not everybody loves sushi, even me. But definitely, if you're hungry for sushi or a food lover, watch this documentary. It will not fail your taste buds. =)

I pray and hope like his son's wish that Jiro can make sushi forever! But if not, I confidently say, Jiro sons will able to continue his legacy, even if it will be not the same as his father's works.

But simply making good sushi that he father taught them. 

Look at his younger son, same sushi and place, just a different atmosphere but same result. Customers coming in.

He's a 2 star Michelin rating restaurant anyway. Not bad. 

Besides, the inspector who ate at the original restaurant tasted the same good sushi without Jiro serving the patron.

That's legacy perhaps. 

Maybe Jiro can just dream sushi all the time. 

Griffith

I'm kinda missing this thing. =) Ah di naman natin paguusapan si Griffith, the manipulative villain ni Guts sa Berserk. This was the name I gave to my Ipod Touch 32GB model. I got this thing out of a deal at yun, why I chose it? Let's say nainggit ako everytime I can see a person playing some apps there and some watching some flicks! Damn I hope I can have that. 

Thanks to that deal, well I got it! Jailbreak agad and put some apps at unang app na addict ako? Plants vs. Zombies! hehe Grabe, until now ata memorize ko pa ang mga strategy ko every level at take note, talagang pinuno ko yun collection ng plants dun. Then another app na naaddict ako, not Angry Birds or even NBA 2K12, hmmmm Ultimate MK 3! Kahit si Rheg nagulat na may ganun game. hehe Damn, this game gave me the nostalgic feeling of playing it since Sega days. Grabe, I can't believe na maaddict pa din ako, lalo na to get all the endings of the characters of the game. Kahit mahirap gamitin yun character, sige gamitin na lang ng smarts. hehe

When I got the thing, I placed right away yun Ishield just to protect it from scratches. Definitely, that Ishield protects the unit, ilan beses ko na kasi nahulog at ayun, parang bago pa din yun Itouch. hehe Saka walang gasgas lalo na kung ilalagay mo sa bulsa yun Itouch. I called it Griffith kasi damn, that thing is tempting. From the apps at definitely, sa sounds! Can't believe na maganda yun tunog niya, at siyempre maganda pa headset ko kaya sulit siya. Crisp and clear sounds kaya pang audiophile pa to, paano pa kaya pag ang headset ko eh westone or Klipsch? Dagdag mo pa yun wifi capability niya kaya naaddict ako sa kakainternet.. Sometimes nga di ko na nabubuksan yun computer ko lalo na kung internet lang hanap ko, aba edi dito na lang ako maginternet! As you see, sa FB or twitter, I use this to tweet or check FB, laking tulong din pala. Better yet to have a smartphone in the future. 

The best thing I loved in this thing, VLC player, TT movie player and movie player apps! Although as much it can play all the movies I have, it can't. Pero masaya manood dun kasi maganda ang quality and pag avi or 800mb yun file, perfect dun. Yun nga lang maliit lang yun screen. Lalo na kung ang file eh 1GB pataas, hang na. hehe I thought that Iphone 4S or IPAD 3 will play these big files pero in this player, proven it won't. It's quite sad but sulit na siya. 

Hay, I kinda miss this thing, sad to say I need to let it go. hehe But in the future, at lalo may bago na Itouch na dual core na with a bigger screen and same nipis, aba yun ang hihintayin ko dito. This time, with cool colors and design, I'll definitely go to the 64GB model. Dito ko na ilalagay yun sounds ko, all of them! hehe I hope it's quite cheap, pero malamang sa unang labas dito, mahal. 

Definitely, around 90%-100% of my movie collection with the same apps I used before, ay magplay na dito. Dapat lang! hehe

The reason I let go of this thing, siyempre, something better will come.. Medyo matagal ko na nga hinihintay to pero they say it will come next week.. Damn, I'm so thrilled to have that. Let's say this one is Ipad Mini in 7inches. Cheaper and it has the features I want lalo na as a movie or media player. Since wala pa ang Ipad mini at galaxy tab 7 inches is kinda expensive, let's go to a cheaper yet dependable brand. 

Can't wait to see that fire.. =)

Ah I'm not worried anymore with Griffith, he's in good hands. hehe Yun susunod na makukuha ko na Ipod touch na bago, I have already a name, since like Griffith, transformed into a monster.

Kuya Alpro

The reason I don't smoke was because of him. =) Very graphic yun nakita ko dati like he's in sick, spitting blood dati especially nung teenage years pa siya.. I saw that and said to myself because of that graphic effect of smoking which na tinigil niya din eh di talaga ako magyoyosi. I still stand that decree until this moment. No regrets about it and kahit peer pressure na matindi coming from work or other people, no way I'm going to smoke. 

But other than that, siyempre idol ko naman si Kuya in other ways. Like his built, addict sa pagpapalaki ng katawan even he still feels maliit pa daw. He's well built already. Another, if there's a great example of coming back in life eh kahit di naman siya tapos ng college, mas malaki pa kinkita niya sa min magkakapatid! hehe It's all due to hard work, smarts and preseverance. Sipag at tiyaga talaga in layman's terms. Even sa dami ng experiences niya from different companies eh or different ventures na pagdaanan niya eh he end up sa kanyang long standing business. Cellphone business. How many times na ako nayaya niya? Around 3 na, pero in the end eh nagsama naman kami for some time, 3 years. I know it's a worthwhile business relationship with him eh ganun talaga, iba yun trip ko saka nagkamali lang ako ng diskarte for the 4th year of running the biz. At nagkataon pa nawala ang great job na gusto ko pa naman. Alat na talaga. 

Saka bilib din ako sa tibay ng loob ni Kuya, with all the misfortunes and losses, he's still standing and doing the same strategy all over again. He just don't quit kasi siyempre inspired to do a living not only for himself but also for his family. =) Kaya talagang I can't rebutt in some things kasi well, he's doing it for his family. I can give him advice all day but he's still the one will decide what's good for his family. Marami ako natutunan sa kanya, from sales, dealings with customers at siyempre sa mga tao mo. Diskarte sa negosyo, financing na din and dealing with suppliers, at san mo hahanapin ang suppliers din, at paano din ang working relationship with them. Ika nga niya, sa negosyo lahat ng aspeto malasin ka na o bad shot na, wag lang ang relationship with your suppliers. Tama nga siya, aba kung bad shot ka sa kasyoso mo o supplier mo, aba wala ka ibebenta. hehe 

Despite some troubles lalo na this year for him, I know he will do a lot for the good decisions for the upcoming times. Sana he can handle the finances well for his family needs at the business needs na din. I know he has a strong faith dahil lourdesian at never questioned God for everything bad happen to him. Kahit kinukulit niya ko magexcercise aba, don't worry tol, I just need some funds at equipment, may video na ko ready, magiging fit na din ako. Wait and see. hehe

Tol, kahit malayo agwat ng edad natin eh nagpapasalamat pa din ako na ginabay mo ko sa buhay. Kahit di mo naman ako nagpapagsabihan like other brothers do, looking over your younger brother, alam ko naman ang reason eh. Lalo na may pamilya ka na, as I always see you naman, I don't need some advices na or sermon siguro. I can handle myself and due to the events that happened to you. Pains and joys that you've experienced and luckily, surviving these hard times. I hope one day, you'll understand that it's really better to live in separate ways. It's not I don't love you or like living here together, but it's better for your family. Peace na din at walang titingin talaga sayo, lalo na si Mommy. hehe

I hope and pray always na magkaayos na kayo, alam mo na kung sino sila. hehe At I pray for the success ang longevity of your business and I hope it will grow kung di naman same venture, other profitable venture. You can always approach me for some help, wag lang siguro talaga sa pera. hehe Sorry tol na din kung I failed you before, lalo na sa mga magkasama tayo sa shop. Kung ano yun nasabi mo sa kin, ok lang yun, di naman ako galit or whatever, tapos na yun. It helped me a lot, at sana coming from you din. 

Continue praying to God at yes, just come close to him and di lang bagay na physical na bibigay niya sayo. The one you really need, peace of mind. Pray everyday and do good na din sa ibang tao, kahit simple tulong sa iba, malaking bagay na yun for him. Jesus will guide you all the way and yes, Holy Spirit will give you strength and wisdom that you need each day. =)

Lourdesian ka at you need to be strong to your faith, hope and love. hehe I always pray naman to Prong na he'll guide you and sila Ate Jen at Jeleane. Speaking about them, aba dont' worry. I love Ate Jen like my Ate at lalo na ang una kong pamangkin si Jeleane, I'll see what I can do to help her in the studies.. I hope jeez iba na ang HS ngayon, sakit sa ulo. hehe At siyempre guiding her as she grows old. 

I don't know if I was able to really come close to you, but what I feel for these past years..

I did come close to you, Kuya Alpro! I'm really proud of you! =)

Dredd 3D

I hope I was able to watch this in 3D! Damn.. Anyway, I can't believe that the first Judge Dredd flick made forgettable because of this one. That flick lead by Sly. Yes, that flick made forgettable, especially with it's story line and dialogue and crappy effects. Great thing, a good director, screenwriter and great cast remade this film into a great action packed one! 

Watching this film made special when Dad came along! Yes! 

To start this, let's go what it can improve or some bad factors for it. One big flaw, I hope that black dude has dialogue or some action when he was taken by Dredd and Anderson, but he's quite shy at those scenes. He's very stagnant and kept me annoyed in some minutes with that dude. Another flaw, well Ma-Ma should have some action scenes how really scary b*tch she was but well.. It lack some action from her. One thing, not really a flaw or bad one, but can't help the coincidence of the story to Raid Redemption ( highly recommended flick! ) but anyway, their are 2 different stories, and Dredd is a high octane scifi action flick! Raid Redemption is a high octane action flick! See the difference? 

Story goes well in the near future which it looks like quite present time except for tall and battle proof buildings. Mega City is at chaos and violent, riots and crimes all around the city. Justice System appointed Judges to execute the law! They are the Judge, Jury and Executioner, all in one person.. They are quite equipped with the lawgiver pistol and fully armed gear. Judge Dredd was tasked to answer a call from a one building who reported 2 dead skinned men dropped from a high floor. Judge Dredd also needs to assess Anderson, a promising Judge needs to pass this test to become a fully woman Judge. She has low grades in tests and exams but well, she has a quite promising ability, psychic ability!

After checking the corpses, they discovered that the building is a factory making SLOMO, a slow moving addicting drug. Unfortunately, it was headed by infamous Ma-Ma and controls the building. Nevertheless, she closed the building and ordered the heads of the Judges.. Judge Dredd and Anderson has no choice but to go up, survive and finish Ma-Ma if possible. 

It's like Die Hard, Raid Redemption with cool action scenes and great 3D effects into one slick film.. As I can say.

First, I give credit to the writer and director of the flick. As they wish this flick will at least do good at the box office to make up for a sequel as they promised. Unfortunately, even in a low budget sci fi flick, they didn't do well in the box office and left us fans, critics hoping with another Dredd flick. The pacing and dialogue was cool, especially what Dredd says, monotone but he's simply a killing machine. Even the Evil Dredds came out, they have good dialogue. The black dude also done his part, and yes, Ma-Ma was really a b*tch. Anderson, yeah she has the touchy and dramatic dialogue, smart too. For the director, give him credit for using the 3D sequences good, especially the slow motion scenes and even the dropping of Ma-Ma. How about the action scenes? Fantastic, gore and violent! Damn that's what I'm looking for in a sci fi flick, not much confusing plot but pure adrenaline action. 

Second, yes the effects team should give credit, like the first scene which Dredd attacked the gang, wow even it's cut at SM cinema in a R-16 rating, that was a good shot.. I was having fun at those dudes who just took SLOMO and they were really stunned that Dredd shows up. The lawgiver! Damn, that's quite possible pistol that we can do now. Voice activated changing bullets and modes. I thought that one shot was flare but it was a scattering molotov bombs!!! You can see that in the trailer. I love how it works if somebody tried to use the lawgiver, ask that black dude. =) Yes, the scene which they used the chaingun to a floor that was scary and pulse setting scene, Dredd and Anderson were kinda lucky. Even the first scene! Damn, it was clever but well.. Sometimes trailers give you the wrong plot. But all I can say, not bad for a low budget flick. The setting was well shown, the future setting and it was not really complicated like Total Recall. 

Lastly, the actors! Karl Urban is really into action flicks, except for pathfinder.. I find him fit in action flicks! Even in RED, he's damn good.. He is definitely fit for Dredd or if there is a sequel, just find him again. All other unknown actors, even that black maniac dude, give credit to them. Ma-Ma (Lena Headey if I got it right) give her credit for being such a villain and b*tch! =) Great thing that Dredd gave her something to bring at her grave. The evil/bribed Dredds! Interesting how they fight each other and how they worked. Ah yes, if V was better with the mask all the time in the movie, definitely, for this flick, it's better to have Dredd wearing that big dark helmet all the time. Although you wish you can see his face at least for few seconds, nah as they are faithful to the comic, they just leave it there. Ah yes, don't forget, smart, yet feisty and hot Olivia Thirlby! Damn.. As much you want her in the sequel in case, she will not be there as the comic suggest. Damn, her portrayal and her psychic skills really shown in the flick, delivered it just right and I hope I can look forward in other films with her in the screen. I just got UNITED 93 and let's see what she did there. =)

Definitely, worth keeping if this is the first and the last. Forget what Sly did. Wow this year even with some crappy action flicks, definitely this year has more good action packed flicks! This is one of them and yes, for a long time, a real violent scifi flick. I'm not sure I'll consider Underworld but this flick, is more sci fi, a different universe.

At last, Yes!!! Wala na.. hehe Nakaalis na ko.. Grabe, geez.. I'll just wait for my back pay. Sad lang, wala pang work. This month, I'll be looking for work na at least malapit. Medyo lie low muna sa Makati place and yeah, at least a safe place. I'm not sure if I can get a job really near sa min, but better to try than nothing. =)

I'm still waiting for the gadget that at last will read any movie file I have!!! And some good features, in a great price. Kahit di sikat ang brand but definitely, panlaban sa big brands. This month, I won't rest that much because I need to work right away due to funds at siyempre ibang binabayaran. Pero talagang susulitin ko na tong pahinga na to, especially my job will be the same, di pa ko nagreach ng point to really get the dream job. Few small steps and more waiting time, I'll be there. 

No more posting at Multiply, bahala na sila!!! hahaha Mukhang maghahabol na lang ako sa pagpost at the end of the month for this. Just giving myself a break. 

UST will win the championship!!!! Sana. hehe Hmmm what else, I just want to start at the right track starting this month. Kung madapa, edi tayo ulit, move on or sort of. For this month, I'll just enjoy the short rest I'll have and take on the challenge.

Nothing will happen to me if I stay just here waiting something to happen, besides he gave it already those simple things I need. I hope next week, I'll work to something will connect me to my dreams.. Naks, at yes, I'll be an old fashioned way. 

Can't wait what will happen by next week, for now..
