3 months parang bula lang this 2015. hehe akala ko nga 2014 pa din. hehe Short recap for the past 3 months.
January - Di ko lam kung good or bad start. So-so perhaps. Kahit kaunti na lang sakit ko eh para nakakaadjust pa din. Pero bumubuti naman sa work pero sa finances, ayun, sobra sa tipid tipid. hahaha Pero grabe pala ang lamig ng January, parang namiss ko nga ngayon yun lamig sa hapon. I can say ok naman January.
February - Love month, same month. Nothing new or surprising. Except siguro ano. hahaha Ok na eh, dapat wala na ko absent kaso ewan ko ba, nahilo lang ko. Pero after that ok na. Ah yes, siyempre ano nga ba naman ang kasal ni Rheg. Very romantic yet painstaking kasi sa suspender na yun. Pag naiisip ko yun, hinahawakan ko yun right shoulder ko. Bwisit. hehe Ah yes, eto pala nagstart writing for another endeavor which I'll explain later. Parang journalist ang dating ko dito. Slight lang. hehe Ah, yes, that was the time na medyo planned na. Basta sundin na lang. Other than that, hmmm Ayun naghabol ako ng blog ko at thank God, natapos ko ang target. Algerro started to stay again here, much better at the same room. Great.. Whew.
March - speaking sa target, eto na ang panghuli for this month at ayos habol na ko. hahaha Kala ko masisilat. Grabe, yun LBM ko last week tiniis ko at thank Lord di naman lumala at di ako SL. Ayoko ko na ng bawas sweldo. hehe Anyway, salamat no absent, ayos ang VL na sana marami pa sa susunod. hehe Yun lang medyo bumagal lang ko this month kasi siyempre mga aayusin here and there at yun pa sakit. Dagdag pa ang chores. Well, I don't know what else to say for this month pero grabe ang init.. Sakto pa talaga sa Holy Week ha. Ah, ano pa, good working naman sa office, paubos na pala ang aking back up. hehe Let's say, getting started na. Oh siyempre, handa na ang sarili sa playoffs mapa NBA at PBA!! At siyempre, handa na ang summer time. Although sana maenjoy ko kaso tipid muna. hahaha This year..
3 months was indeed fast. I hope the next ones will be slow but please wag naman ganito kainit ha!!! I really don't like summer. Pero iwas kati naman. hehe

Pang apat ako sa nakapila dito, parang mga 50 ata nakapila papasok. Mabuti na lang di ako nalate. Hehe Di ako magrush for 5 minutes. Ganda pala kahit papano ang bagong building. Nung tumagal nga lang at dumami na tenants eh di ko maisip.. Bakit yun left side na lang pwede kami sumakay. Anong silbi nung kanan. Parang pangbaba lang ata or sa ibang tenant. Hmph! Sino ba sila.. hehe Ano pa ba. Medyo matagal ha. Sayang ang bagong elevator at building. Kakabanas.
Mabuti na lang, nakikinig ako sa Kings of Convenience. Cool sounds.. Sana pinanood ko sila noong nagperform sila dito. Hehe Anyway, medyo matagal ha, yun kabilang side di naman gumagalaw, at lalo naman kami na sobrang haba na ng pila. Yun dalawang babae nasa harap ko, todo sa chismax. Hahaha Parehong malalaking bulas. Yun nasa harap ko, chill lang si ate. Mukhang di naman nagmamadali. Sabagay, maaga pa naman, quarter to 8 pa. Siguro kung 5-10 mins na lang, yun mga kasama mo aburido na kasi malalate. Hahaha
Yun mga likod ko ok lang din, humaba lang ang pila. Puro mga kafloor ko. Parang wala pa sa ibang center o nagkataon lang. Nakita ko yun isang taga Teletech, grabe parang instant bad trip ang feeling. Hehe Bwisit talaga. See? Ganun agad ang reaction ko sa Teletech. Ayos din yun LED TV nasa harap namin, commercials ng mga shows ng Araneta Colliseum at ads ng kanilang food group, like taco bell and siyempre Pizza Hut. Hehe Parang yun TV na nakita ko, ok na sakin yun. Hahaha Sarap manood ng mkv or mp4 files, blu ray files.. Wow. Wag naman yun 70 inch or the one parang 80 inch ata. That’s just so much kahit marami akong pera. Hahaha it’s either, 32-40 inch LED TV or Projector. Other than that, wag na. I mean luxury TV. Kahit wala na nga net connection. Simply TV will suffice.
Sina ate sa sarap todo chismax pa din at nakita ko na yun isang elevator na pabukas na. Una na kami nakapasok, silang dalawa mukhang maiiwan pa. Eh napansin. Hahaha Pumasok bigla ang mga ate.
Sinara ko na yun elevator at may mga pesteng pumasok pa! Erghh. Ang babagal kasi. Ayun ipit ako sa loob. Mabuti na lang 8th floor lang ako. Hehe Well, agony never stopped there. Tumigil sa 4th floor kasi yun mga sasakay galing mall eh ayun pahiya. Hehe At yun 5th floor na galing 7/11 eh napahiya din. Parang MRT lang to, next train na lang. hahaha 6th floor, isa lang bumaba, galing pa sa likod. 7th floor may bumaba galing din sa likod. At sa wakas, 8th floor, parang ako lang bumaba. Pero ayun, partida kahit naghintay, dami pang oras. Daan sa locker at akalain mo yun kashare ko sa locker nandiya pa siya! 3 hours OTY?

After the death of Roger Ebert, I was surprised to hear a news about his documentary. I mean, it still fresh and I don’t know what parts of his life were covered. Well, after watching it, I am very well surprised and pleased with it! Every movie fan, critic or well, anybody who loves movies should see this documentary. It’s short yet very special and inspiring.
The only flaw I can see in this film, is well, not really a flaw but I’m more interested seeing it. How he was able to do his style of critic. I mean sure you can read his reviews or watch it as well but in the film, due to its narrative pace, it did not dwell on that. He has some inspirations shown there and how he dealt even his own works, but how he was able to do it. I hope it devoted some time at that part, but it was less discussed or shown for this film.
However, that did not dampen really my likeness into this film. I mean despite it could go long, but the director was able to get the important parts and works of Robert and fit it in just the right amount of time. I love the interviews done throughout the industry, such as Martin Scorsese, and the other stars, movie critics who not only his rival but also inspired from him. The other movie directors who were lighten up because of his harsh or constructive criticism or even slightest of praise or even that simple two thumbs up label. I love the scenes showing his TV show with Siskel, darn I hope it had reruns or I hope somebody could do that again. But I saw it already, actually many of them in youtube. But that old time, it’s quite ahead.
I’m also became very educated while watching this film, especially that he actually made a film as a screenwriter. Even written for just one film, that's an achievement. I feel I could do that as well, writing a screenplay in the future. hehe The one scene that I felt sympathy with him is the death of his rival/best friend Siskel. I mean you can feel from the narration of his friends and family that he quite got depressed when Siskel passed away. I mean, after working from ups and downs with someone and all of a sudden, took away. It's very sad. Another very sad moment, Roger's condition before he passed away. It's fun that despite his condition, he wrote until his final breath. it's sad that he got that disease and you saw in the film how he was coping hard on it. But the great thing is he never gave up writing and continue doing it and loving it!
For me, he is the perfect movie critic. I mean I may get a lot of flak but a critic who not only came close with almost all the stars in hollywood is not a bad job. It's a great job and he never stopped and actually I hope he wrote more screenplays. Perfect critic I mean, he pulled no punches because what he felt. I mean some films he gave poor reviews but others gave it great, I still give him credit because that's what he felt. It's not others who like gave me impression, it's what he feels. That is what I did in some films I reviewed. Others views great or bad, for me sometimes it's opposite.
I think every critic should do that. Besides, criticism has its own right, I mean the writer's rights. It's no standard for everybody else unless you have poor eyesight or hearing when watching a film. hehe But definitely, I was inspired by Roger Ebert and he's a legend in a simple work naming movie critic. I'm surprised this film was not nominated at least for best documentary though. Darn.. I still give it,

Morrissey already played here. Hmmmm even the pathetic ones such as 1D and boybands, pop stars or even Taylor Swift and later, Katy Perry again for the nth time. When I’m looking at the posters of concerts and even music festivals, most of them, I don’t know who the hell are they. I don’t know even how they became famous. I admit I should have watch Metric last year! Ergh.. Darn.. Ah, I did not really dreamt going to RHCP concert..
It’s hard to imagine, we can bring from the most famous of stars, and even not really famous ones or even the one hit wonder artists.. Or how about the indie ones and up and coming acts whatever. Well, don’t count out those KPOP crap. How about Rick Astley? Hahaha My sister was like, her life was complete seeing that retired dude here performing, even forgetting his own lyrics.
Well, I could let them pass, but honestly one band that I won’t pass. Even in my lifetime.. Never! I believe Kuya Dong also waiting for this band in his lifetime and many of their legion of fans or die-hard fans… New Order should really perform here!
What if they made a surprise announcement tomorrow that one of their stops will be here, one night only? I don’t need to think about twice. I don’t know how much will that concert ticket be, but definitely, I’ll buy one! Hahaha If I could go to VIP, why not! I don’t know if we will make a big streamer to let them sing our favorites songs, such one I saw in a concert done for Ceremony.
Running in my mind or maybe dreaming, seeing Stephen on drums, Gillian at keyboard and yes, guitars! Lovely couple indeed! Barney in vocals, and sometimes but I hope he’ll pass the guitars. Hooky on bass which it depends if their rift ends. If not, I’ll be fine who will be their bass player is but it will be sad for sure! I don’t care if it will be played in Araneta, MOA or PICC, or even in open fields or in far away in Manila.. As long, they will play here, I’m there!
Sorry, we are there! Hehe Oh yes, even they play in Clark like what RHCP did, no problem. We’ll camp if we needed to. Hahaha Here is the biggest question, what will be their playset? Playlist? Will they go from new ones or recent songs then going to old ones? Will they play some Joy Divison songs?!

I watched of course their concerts in video, and all I can say despite they don’t really do encore and they have shorter sets.. All I can say they sound great at live. You can feel the great vocals of Barney except of his well guitar playing. The magnificent bass of Hooky that defines a new order song or yes, JD songs. How about the other two? Clever synths by Gillian and yes, the ultimate drum machine played by Stephen. I mean he’s my favorite drummer, the only drummer who can play from punk, pop, rock and every single genre. Hahaha Of course, my favorite bass player is Hooky.
Wow, what a band. I can’t believe that only or very few bands going into 2 totally different genres and still became great. From dark and moody but deep sounds of Joy Division transforming to a fun, yet electric sounds of New Order. I can’t believe that I know others love New Order than JD but for me, it’s the opposite. I just wish Ian is still here. I’ll explain it in a different blog about this part. But with New Order, it did give me some Joy. Ironic isn’t? Still they are my favorite band. JD/NO..
For now, well I hope promoters or some of them are fans of New Order so instead bringing c*nts, and tw*ts that masquerade as artists.
How about bringing the real legends here. The ones who created a total New Order in music! I don’t care bloody waiting, even maybe I’m old as well.

Writing, work, and sometimes reading at well these, watching Japanese dramas. hehe Yes, not walking dead, game of thrones or even breaking bad. How about Korean dramas or well worse chinese ones.. Nope.
Why Japanese? Hmmmm maraming factors. But to start off.. I started watching these dramas nung nagrerecover ako. I mean just browsing the net and stuff, at dahil ako di ko naman hilig na sa US series kasi mahaba at bitin at worse, magdodownload pa ko. Korean well, they focus more into romance and some little action series but I just don't like all of them look the same. Magkakamukha silang lahat. hehe So I tried japanese dramas and dahil nagbabasa ako ng japanese news, I'm reading the ratings and some shows at asianwiki, dramawiki ayun na. Na adik na. hahaha At may jdramas.wordpress.com pa pala!
Hahaba pa ang explanation ko pero I'll give some good reasons. First, yun nga, most of the series eh maiksi lang. Ah maximum eh 11 episodes lang. Average eh 8 episodes. May series na 5 episodes lang pang weekends ata nila. May iba 7 episodes na usually panget. Nabiktima na ko. hahaha Parang 3rd episode pa lang, ayaw na nila. Pero yun iba na panget umaabot pa ng 10 episodes. See, with that parang ramen.. Masarap pag nandun na lahat at isang kain lang. Jdorama is like that, pag maganda, yun, sulit ang 11 episodes or less. May disadvantage din na siyempre bitin or parang kulang. Some of them may second season, yun nga lang next year, if tuloy. So, mabilis at ayos. Unlike Korean na mahaba with some of them parang di naman kailangan na episodes. Oh they have asadora, 150 episodes pero 15 mins each episode. Parang soap opera nila. NHK lang gumagawa nun.
Second, it has a variety of themes na pwede gawan na story. From police stories, detectives, hospital, nurses, doctors, farming, countryside, siyempre yun usual love stories, family, action series, or even sci fi. Weird series like restaurant, food, quiz show, or even tourist destinations, or kahit law at yes, even business dealings at banks. Kahit mismong japanese language eh may series din, just finished last week. It means, parang lahat nagagawan nila ng story. hehe Interesting right? I'm surprised even Korean or Chinese dramas eh parang may kinopya sila from these jdoramas. Or vice versa pero parang mas marami ata galing sa Japan. Anyway, sanay naman tayo sa kopyahan. hahaha
Isa pa eh educational, I mean as Japanese culture is quite complicated from the language at gestures, eh matuto ka by watching a lot of this pero siyempre iba yun classroom setting. Pero nakakatuwa lang. Matuto ka din how they behave or even react at siyempre think. Kaya yun. At lalo na yun mga medical and police series, may explanation agad ha. hehe Although of course cool tignan pag sa states pero di naman sila pahuhuli.
Discover other stars, which is very surprising. Kasi siyempre sa Japanese movies eh marami nang sikat or well known, mas marami sa TV! At nakakagulat they rarely do films than TV. Marami sa TV, eh madaya sa edad! hahaha Paano kaya sila nagmumukha bata. I mean, there is one actress, well example Amami Yuki. I can't believe, parang 47 na siya pero di siya mukhang 47! haha May series siya kasama si Takei Emi, di mother and daughter ang dating sa kin. Parang magkapatid lang. hehe Isang example lang yan. Marami pang ganun na artista na guys and ladies that looks very young at their age. Galing! hehe At yes, mashock ka na yun movie stars eh pagdating sa TV mahina ang rating or sometimes, they do support roles. Weird industry but interesting pa din. Pero may ibang stars talaga, mapa TV or movies, grabe ang rating. Ayase Haruka is a great example.
Lastly, the production! I know, most of them overacting or minsan kulang but sa kin, ok lang. Gusto ko lang yun effor nila. To make the drama series interesting or watchable. I mean sure Koreans has good acting ability pero recently sila nagrise for that. Chinese, more into copying na din. Japanese talagang perfectionist. Acting tapos yun cinematography, ibang series kala mo film kasi ibang style or film ginamit nila. Then, yun cast and crew saka design lalo pag may flashback, di ko alam kung paano nila nagagawa yun pag 90's or backward setting, kuha agad nila, hanggang make up. Galing. hehehe Basta yun at siyempre nihonggo.
Of course, may mga flaws naman sila at I know why they are less marketable here. Or kahit sa japan nakakapasok na yun Korean dramas. hehe Well short series won't work sa atin, especially kung ang goal ng network eh the longer the series, more revenue from ads. Unfortunately, most ng series sa japan eh like I said average lang ng 8. Well, average ng isang episode 45 mins, so pwede pa nila ihati sa dalawa, maiksi pa din yun. Usually gusto ng network at least 3 months. Parang malabo ata. Napansin ko lang.
Isa pa, japanese has a lot of rituals which most of us don't do, or unusual. Like bowing. I mean mag bow ka ba pag nag thank you sa tao? hahaha Gawin mo dito, weird ka. Korean or chinese don't really do that. Lalo na pag nag sorry, luluhod at magbow.. No way dito. O kahit kakain, itadakimasu pa muna. Or may scene na papasok lang ng bahay, tanggal sapatos, sabi na tadai ma, then reply okairi, if I heard it right. Daming gagawin di ba? hahaha Kaya well, unlike if you love japanese ok lang but unfortunately, others don't really want to see that. Gusto aksyon agad.
Most of the endings na jdorama are either not good or crap or bakit ganun or ok lang. Bihira lang yun grabe galing! hahaha Or bitin.. Yun napansin ko sa ibang series. Kabad trip nga yun bitin kasi aasa ka sana may second season, taon na bibilangin mo or wala na pagasa. Mga ganun ba. So yun. Yun iba talagang sana kahit kaunti ibahin nila. Mga ganun ba. Ok na tapos sa huli medyo maiiba pa.
Hay, gusto ko pa magsulat pa about it but hahaba lang ito. hahaha Pero I'll give some sites to check about jdorama. Ah by the way, dami ko favorite pero I refer yun mga series na pinapalabas nila ng 12 midnight. Grabe, lahat ng series ko nandun. Dahil siguro sa censor pero di naman censor, medyo mature kasi ang topics pero safe. hahaha Sample na gusto ko last year, Suteki na sen Taxi. Must watch! Cool series, sana may season 2. Ah sample ng midnight drama na una kala ko primetime, Shinya Shokudo. Galing na drama. Napaiyak pa ko ng ilang episodes dun. hehe Except for one series pero panget ang gawa, mosaic japan!Buti na lang 5 episodes lang ang bwisit. Eto na yun mga sites, actually pati chinese at korean fans naku matutuwa dito. Pati films pala kung buenas mayrun din sila.

Japanese Cinema won’t be recognized globally without samurai flicks or chanbara as casually called. The typical story of men and women engaged in the way of samurai. It shows a lot common types of stories such as a wandering swordsman helps someone or a village, swordsman in the middle of political struggle, or simply a swordsman on his way to retirement but called upon to serve one last time. How about a swordsman who is destined to die but yet, want to do one last meaningful job.. There are a lot of stories you can really think of.
While watching this movie, like at the towards of the middle, I thought, what if a story about a simple but great swordsman who becomes a madman because of technique. Sure, most of the villains in other films of this genre are like that, but I think few or none of those films showing the lead character becoming like an anti hero of sorts.
After almost 2 hours of action and dramatic climax, I got what I wanted. This is it! That's why the title itself named like this. I mean, a sword is like other deadly weapon made by man. What if that person, succumbs to that weapon? I mean especially in those old times that a weapon is sometimes the only mean to survive, especially in Feudal Japan. Warring states, clans or even gangs are not really a good and healthy environment to live to.
Anyway, there are 2 minor flaws that I hoped it happened in this film. Of course, it has many plot holes left behind but that's forgivable, and for me forgettable. The first minor flaw was I hoped, Ryunosuke (the main character) fought Toranosuke, the samurai who killed Ryunosuke's squad in front of him. It's the only time of the film that despite Ryunosuke flawless technique was really scary and great, shown fear to an opponent. I hope they fought and maybe the film might end at that scene if happened.
Another flaw that I wanted to see, was the revenge of the younger brother. The first scene involves Ryunosuke was commanded to literally lose a match against his rival just to preserve the clan, but Ryunosuke saw that the opponent will kill him using a banned technique. Ryunosuke killed the opponent and it's one of the reasons how this story went. That opponent has a younger brother practiced hard to get vengeance but unfortunately, it did not reach that point.
Three simple yet great factors I love this film making it a samurai classic to me. I was shocked it left a mark to me, with such a tour de force samurai film.
First factor was the actors played in the film, all the actors played just right even Toranosuke who only appeared like 5 minutes really impressed me. Of course, the actor played Ryunosuke played splendid. I mean, his transformation from being sociopath, pride samurai into a madman really driven this film into a classic. Then don't forget of course the other actors/characters, even the girl who played the grand daughter of the monk, then had a surprised twist at the end. Superb cast indeed.
Another factor was the director and the screenplay worked hard together to make this film, surprise classic. I mean despite a long screen time, it really doesn't felt that way as every scene is important. The last 20-30 minutes seems gave me really the excitement and chills as the climax of the film. It was that good that I watch it many times only that part. Wow, those final minutes almost tops even the other samurai flicks made recently. The dialogue although not really complicated but simple yet meaningful. Less dialogue about honor or pride, they used simple dialogue to make the story meaningful and developing especially when approaching at the end.
Lastly, the action scenes. Wow, as a samurai flick fan I mean, that style of Ryonusuke is clever but deadly. Actually he did not use it at the first parts of the film but at the end of this one, I mean it literally that style kept him going. Despite that abrupt ending, I did not care. What I enjoyed that last part was how he was able to show that his sword and style really succumb into evil. I mean why suddenly kill your comrades right? And yes, when he started to hear those voices who he killed, it just drove him mad. I liked the sword fights and that last minutes of this film, crazy, outrageous, great!
That was really a great ending. I can guess, at the end of course, he should be dead. Or if not, he will face that younger brother of the one he killed before. Or he'll commit sepukku due to the unending guilt or rage.. It's an open ending. I was shocked that it ended that way, I tried to rewind or search in the web if that was it.
Yes, that was it. I can't believe it!
Binabasa ko yun wiki, RMN pala may ari noon. Sayang. hehe Grabe, ngayon ko lang naisip, besides sa betamax, VHS na marami kami noon.. One of the reasons I became a film lover was this channel. Yes, di ko alam para malamang kaunti lang nakakapanood ng channel na to dati. High school ako noon at siyempre adik pa sa TV at wala pang cable.
Tapos siyempre habang naghahanap ka na pinapanood at ang pinakamalayo pang channel noon eh studio 23 pa, at may SBN 21 pa pala, bigla ako napunta sa channel na to. May E! tv shows na pinapalabas at mga trailers na pinapakita. Aba, mapanood nga. Akalain mo in sync pala sa states. Kasi ilan linggo lang yun mga trailers, mapapanood mo na dito sa pinas. Then, hollywood stories, tapos yun talk shows, naalala ko David Letterman, di ko unang nakita. Ngayon ko lang naalala. hahaha
Nung nakita ko yun ibang shows nakalagay sa wiki eh parang di ko nakita. Iskul Bukol may reruns pa noon sa channel 13 ata. At yun game shows, studio 23 at the usual channels.
Pero di ko makakalimutan, dito ko nakita yun my fave flick 2001: a space odyssey. Grabe, static pa yun signal noon, pinagtyagaan ko at yun na, di ko na makalimutan. Dahil dun hinanap ko at now, I have it, I watched it all over again and it's my favorite. Thanks to this station! hehe Not only that, may mga napanood ako na they do movie festival every week. Yun nga, Akira Kurosawa week! Seven Samurai, Rashomon, Ran, yun iba di ko napanood. Grabe in local UHF tv. hehe Galing sabi ko, sana magtagal. Tapos yun ibang hollywood classics napalabas nila, di ko lang sure yun mga titles pero sure ako may hollywood tapos pinoy din na black and white.
Grabe, yun lang sabi due to budget and low ratings which totoo nga, nawala na siya. And lalo na ngayon, may mobile na at cable, malamang malulugi sila lalo. But thanks to this station, I love the movie classics, black and white perhaps napagtyagaan ko. Kurosawa of course and yes, my love, 2001! Naalala ko, one and only time, dito ko napanood yun sequel niya na 2010, kaso di ko na collection ngayon, not worth it. Kahit nung time na yun, di ko siya trip. hehe Naging narrative driven kasi, not unlike the great one.
Wow, talagang flashback to. Grabe, naisip ko nga dati, pagwala ako mapanood na matino sa ibang channel like 2, or 7... Dito na lang ako, hanggang mag sign off.
Ah, those days na wala pang work, just study, study, play and watch tv.

Well, after going to very far view, nope it's Fairview.. Let's go to somewhere near, not so far or so close. New place!
Some years ago, actually around 2-3 years ago, buildings sprouting near Quezon Ave. MRT station. Well, it ended as it was built by ETON properties. Lucio Tan's real estate cash cow business. Anyway, what surprised me was I thought condo will be built but it's all short buildings. There is a park, then small mall with SM Hypermart.
Food restaurants, and stalls which my brother had a stall. Then now, the buildings are BPO buildings. Surprisingly. Let's start! It's only a few offices but many come to this place.
Wipro - They have a very small office but I'm surprised that they are one of the biggest BPO in the world. I don't know what accounts they have, but they are still there. They did not get big. I don't know why.
HP - Yes, the newest center they have. I think they occupy a lot of floors in a building. However, no clue what they are doing there. I can guess services to other companies such as consulting and tech services for HP. I don't think they are serving consumer section like in Mckinley. Well, they have SAP Hana so I feel they do a lot of SAP work. I tried to apply but what a long process online recruitment they have. Besides, I don't like going here anyway. hehe
Bodog -I'm not sure if they are still running. Well the reason I said that is FBI searched this company's boss. Their case is quite scary. Heavy serious case. It involves illegal activities and money laundering. I remember this as they have enticing classified ads but they have strict qualifications. I don't speak Chinese! hahaha They are into gambling.
GENPACT - Yup, the Alabang office has a branch and it is situated here at QC. Their account here I think focus more in collections. Local and international accounts perhaps. They claim as or was a GE subsidiary or former GE company. I know it's confusing but it seems they pay good but not sure if it's great. I think you can easily pass as long you have experience.
EGS - formerly APAC/NCO-RMH company merger. I mean they were separate but after they stroke the deal and became EGS. I'm surprised this one was kinda big. They have sites from QC, Alabang, and Cubao. Oh, I don't know if the one in
SM Sta Mesa still works. The one in ABS CBN transferred in ETON. I only know 2 accounts running here, in Alabang there is health insurance. In QC, Amazon account. Quite chaotic according to one person I know working here. hehe Anyway, not sure if they pay good but free lunch is not bad right? Not sure though if its there.
CVG - Yes, the largest center has even one center here at ETON and the most surprising at all, they displayed the Telstra sign at their building which not existent in other Telstra service providers like 24/7, and Teletech or Teleperformance. I'm not sure why they do that but definitely, maybe they have the highest satisfaction from Telstra. Of course, since it's telstra, they have dayshift and as a former Telstra service provider... Just stay away from them.
Hmmmm I don't think I missed some companies, maybe BMW. hehe But as I know, they are the BPO offices currently there. I know they have a small number but they have many employees there. These centers are well known as well. For me, the location is fine, I mean just one jeep ride from my house but be careful at night. There are many places to go there, just ride one bus or MRT going to SM/Trinoma. The location is ok because it's easy to find. Traffic was worse before but it was fixed due to the uturn slot below the flyover.
However, if you still don't like working at these offices or you feel options are still limited.. Don't worry..
We haven't yet go to the other best and convenient places. =)
