Conversion to Light

Infinite darkness will succumb by a ray of light. Light shows as hope. Hope brings faith.. Faith becomes Love. Weird logic right? I can't imagine I always think that all the time but maybe it's not going inside me. Deeply.

For sure, I should be mature enough but it's just, the hardest obstacles are now here. I need maybe more than those values I mentioned above. Or even sheer will. Or motivational speeches. Or even great readings. 

I know why I'm like this, damn age. I'm becoming more bitter and most of all, envy which I don't really feel before. As you age, wisdom becomes a lot yet, some dark force also grows. Going from the past, or worse, regrets. I know and admit I haven't reach a lot after a decade from graduation, and add to that pressure from my home, I don't know what to do. I also thought, better end up dead. 

But as years goes by, a mysterious force or presence that always come to rescue me. It is always him. Jesus there to save me. Always. But I don't go further than that. Maybe I look back at him after he saves me, like those one of the lepers he healed. Out of the ten he healed, only one returned, the nine just left. I'm one of those who left. Yes, despite that gospel did not really say those nine are selfish, but of course, if you look at that context, well.. I understand that Jesus did not judge those nine, but when those nine left, I knew they felt the guilt of not being grateful or even thank Him. 

It also did not say if they converted as well. I always hear even straight from Him that after he forgives, he says sin no more. That second line really I fail.. It's simply convesion yet I fail. I failed many times. 

Now, I can do is different. Instead of focusing so much on every thought or action I do or even doing promises, what I do.. I'll do something else. What I will do are well.. First, do a lot of things. Maybe, I always think I'm sick which I'm not anymore. Do a lot of things, like what I'm doing now. Another, to refresh other people to refresh one's self. It's weird but despite, I'll get tired, I will do my best to focus maybe or even tiring help the people around me and others. Serving Him, at least paying back his love for me for all this time. I know that not even one person can pay him back what love he gave to us. 

Well, it's better to do it and I know he'll be fine with it up there. 

Now, despite I have an afraid heart, I should convert into a brave one. To embrace change, and most of all, optimistic despite odds. Despite doubt, and even defeat. Always look forward a new day ahead! Don't forget, of course, I have one beside, the one who keeps me going..

Till the end. Whether it's a success or failure. I know the best thing to do, is to give your best. Try as well..

I know this will be a long process of reconciliation, I admit it, going to conversion and the last thing, a bit easier than conversion.. 

Commission. I want to be at that state. =)

(QC part 2)


Well, after going to very far view, nope it's Fairview.. Let's go to somewhere near, not so far or so close. New place! 

Some years ago, actually around 2-3 years ago, buildings sprouting near Quezon Ave. MRT station. Well, it ended as it was built by ETON properties. Lucio Tan's real estate cash cow business. Anyway, what surprised me was I thought condo will be built but it's all short buildings. There is a park, then small mall with SM Hypermart. 

Food restaurants, and stalls which my brother had a stall. Then now, the buildings are BPO buildings. Surprisingly. Let's start! It's only a few offices but many come to this place.

Wipro - They have a very small office but I'm surprised that they are one of the biggest BPO in the world. I don't know what accounts they have, but they are still there. They did not get big. I don't know why.

HP - Yes, the newest center they have. I think they occupy a lot of floors in a building. However, no clue what they are doing there. I can guess services to other companies such as consulting and tech services for HP. I don't think they are serving consumer section like in Mckinley. Well, they have SAP Hana so I feel they do a lot of SAP work. I tried to apply but what a long process online recruitment they have. Besides, I don't like going here anyway. hehe

Bodog -I'm not sure if they are still running. Well the reason I said that is FBI searched this company's boss. Their case is quite scary. Heavy serious case. It involves illegal activities and money laundering. I remember this as they have enticing classified ads but they have strict qualifications. I don't speak Chinese! hahaha They are into gambling.

GENPACT - Yup, the Alabang office has a branch and it is situated here at QC. Their account here I think focus more in collections. Local and international accounts perhaps. They claim as or was a GE subsidiary or former GE company. I know it's confusing but it seems they pay good but not sure if it's great. I think you can easily pass as long you have experience.

EGS - formerly APAC/NCO-RMH company merger. I mean they were separate but after they stroke the deal and became EGS. I'm surprised this one was kinda big. They have sites from QC, Alabang, and Cubao. Oh, I don't know if the one in 
SM Sta Mesa still works. The one in ABS CBN transferred in ETON. I only know 2 accounts running here, in Alabang there is health insurance. In QC, Amazon account. Quite chaotic according to one person I know working here. hehe Anyway, not sure if they pay good but free lunch is not bad right?  Not sure though if its there.

CVG - Yes, the largest center has even one center here at ETON and the most surprising at all, they displayed the Telstra sign at their building which not existent in other Telstra service providers like 24/7, and Teletech or Teleperformance. I'm not sure why they do that but definitely, maybe they have the highest satisfaction from Telstra. Of course, since it's telstra, they have dayshift and as a former Telstra service provider... Just stay away from them. 

Hmmmm I don't think I missed some companies, maybe BMW. hehe But as I know, they are the BPO offices currently there. I know they  have a small number but they have many employees there. These centers are well known as well. For me, the location is fine, I mean just one jeep ride from my house but be careful at night. There are many places to go there, just ride one bus or MRT going to SM/Trinoma. The location is ok because it's easy to find. Traffic was worse before but it was fixed due to the uturn slot below the flyover. 

However, if you still don't like working at these offices or you feel options are still limited.. Don't worry..

We haven't yet go to the other best and convenient places. =)

Be Empowered!

Still shocked and blessed from that very first talk.. Eh wala na kainan ito, deretcho na sa first class for the Saturday Edition. Unfortunately, as much I thrilled sa health talk eh nadelay. The only delay I experienced in this year's KCON. I chose this talk kasi I'm now into healthy living, starting ha. hehe But the diet is there, then excercise na lang, nadelay ulit kasi well for personal reasons. 

Ah, Bro Bo discussed, hmmmm let's say I heard that before, just recently in one series. Forgive me. hehe With some new information lalo na what to drink in breakfast ha, mahirap yun. hehe 28 Kalamansi juice? Really? Ubos oras.. Magawa nga sometime. hehe 

After that simple talk, hmmmm the interesting topic arrived, Neuro Linguistic style whatever, but let me tell you, it helps. The fastest way to get sleep is here or if you have a bad habit or trauma, mukhang nakakatulong. Kaso due to the late start.. =( Well, talk got cut short. Mabuti na lang may book yun friend ko. hehe Makahiram nga!

Well, after that class, I was expecting a lot but I think I'll just read the book at tuloy ang plan for diet and excercise. hehe

The second class well, pinili ko siya baka may other ways to enjoy or have motivation sa career. 

Yun pala, I'm in a treat! hehe

Eto naman sis ko, eh puwesto agad sa second row, middle of the stage, kakahiya baka magtawag ng audience! hehe Grabe.. Sana nabili ko nga yun libro niya. =(

At ngayon ko lang naalala yun amazing race  na sumali sila ng daughter niya, paano kasi iba yun pinapanood ko dun, actually basta maganda yun pair that's for sure. hahaha But anyway.. 

Jhet Van Ruyven should be one of our hidden treasures, I mean di lang international speaker or author but siya yun symbol na pagiging pinoy natin! I mean, mangugulay lang sa batangas becoming entrepeneur sa Canada tapos best selling author pa.. At di lang super serious like most of us in achieving dreams, siya pagkakalog ba at di mahiyain na ishare yun nangyari sa kanya, yun masayahin na tunay nagrepresent na pagiging successful pinoy abroad. 

Despite some tech difficulties, and short time at simple yun topic, powerful si te. hehe Bad trip, nashort pera ko, di tuloy ako nakabili nung libro niya. 

What shocked me most sa huli, noong pupunta siya sa edge ng stage kala ko thankful bow lang pero grabe, tumalon si Jhet with her heels at wala lang, rumampa! hahaha Ayun pumunta sa likod at picture at autograph din.

Well, I hope she'll come back sometime here to inspire again. =)

Until now, I'm suprised, that the last speaker that should have been at that last class eh Rex Mendoza, President and CEO of Philam life, I want to know his experience or his journey. I kinda read his article, seems a good CEO, willing to share to others. 

Nasan siya? I don't know..

Pero yun kapalit, sulit!! Sobrang sulit! hahahaha

Surprise replacement, well, one of the 2 students of the great Zig Ziglar, which until now iniisip ko pa din kung sino yun isa. hehe His name is Krish Dhanam, and wow.. Fortunate to see a speaker that not only passionate but motivating talaga. Tamang tama, selling pa naman yun theme, pag sales man ka, after hearing this piece, motivate na bumenta ka. hehe Ako, naisip ko kala ko magaling na ko bumenta dati pero kulang pa. 

Selling is not only just sell something but more into building relationship sa client or customer. And it's a process. You never stop at one customer, lalo na pag ayaw, then go to the another one. 

Krish not only discussed selling but some life points din na nakakatuwa and uplifting. Eto talaga, bad trip, bitin. At sana may ibang aspects siya nadiscuss, kahit anong aspect ata sa business pwede na idiscuss. Saka makikita mo talaga sa kanya, trained by Zig. Wow.. I hope, he'll be back kahit di sa KCON, other conferences pa. hehe

Yun talaga, motivational speaking excellence. hehe Galing..

Saturday ended and I felt not only very blessed..

But very motivated. Naks.. hehe

From morning till dawn, can't seem to forget what all those speakers said. =)

Eiga Sai 2013

(pangalawang Parte.)

Kasamaang palad, di ako pinalad manood sa UP dahil kay Maring at isama pa ang mga inutos sa kin at kailangan gawin, at mga OT.. Di ako nakasunod sa UP film institute edisyon ng Eiga Sai. 

Bagama't sa ganitong pangyayari eh siyempre, may isa pang paraan, edi hanapin na lang dito sa internet! hehe

Always Sunset on Third Street part 2 - Habang iniscreen ko yun film, nahuli agad ako ng ganda ng cinematograpiya at 60's film setting na sobrang kuhang kuha, hanggang sa mga kotse.. Yun lang drama at maraming mga tauhan na kailangan sundan, pero mukhang maayos naman. Kailangan ko na lang siyang panoorin sa mga susunod na araw. Pero mukhang maganda naman at di sayang pag pinanood sa sine, kahit may bayad pa. hehe Ang tanong ba, kailangan ko ba panoorin yun part 1 at part 3? Ano to, Godfather? hehehe

Confessions - Nagulat ako na sa lahat ng film naka line up, eh eto yun stand out. Ibig ko sabihin dapat siya ang main feature ng festival. Nung subukan ko panoorin sa Shang, akalain mo sa sobrang haba ng pila, di ko na naabutan yun libreng ticket! hehe Mabuti, tama ang hula ko na masasama siya sa Eiga Sai pagkatapos ko siyang panoorin dito sa bahay. May suspense, high school drama at may pagkaduguan. hehe At magaling yun storya at may twist pa din hanggang huli. Hanggang ngayon iniisip ko, kung talagang pinatay ni Teacher ang nanay ng kanyang estudyante dahil sa paghihiganti? Mahirap sagutin pero masarap ulitin na panoorin. Kahit gusto ko yun Departures kasi sobrang dramatic at may puso.. Eto, iba yun thrill at shock value kung baga.. Mas gusto ko ito. hehe

Sana sa susunod na taon, alam ko ng advance yun schedule at wala sana aberya pagmanood na ko ulit. Sana Thermae Romae na palabas nila! hehe Or kung kaya, Saint young men, Ace Attorney, or yun mga bago ni Haruka Ayase. =) Key of Life din!!!
