2 days away or more, sana tapos na nesting and go into production floor na. 

Well, this month was quite pull some surprises but in the end, the only difficult thing to do is to follow yun steps and freaking midshift 5pm-2am due to lack of seats. Pest. hehe

Once I make it, eh alam na gagawin.. I have now prepared a plan for the next 6 months if I got unlucky, a year if I got lucky, 2 years if I really going into it. Then, I hope and I pray na lahat naman naplano eh masundo at dun natin makikita if I will be satisfied. Not only financial, important is career path and health wise. This month was not really pressure packed.

Enjoyed watching movies in a day, tapos fixing some things, keep myself busy at planning na din. Salamat sa punishing fire, I can now see my collection without any glitches. At nakakadiscover pa ko ng mga nadownload ko na palpak! hahaha

Sana lang maayos yun sked ko, kahit may Sat shift. Ok lang Sun off, makakapunta pa din ako ng The Feast and grow. Naks. hehe

Now I'm looking forward after this nesting, even mababa for what I expect eh di naman stressful, like taking calls at malayo pa. Sana lang maayos to. Looking forward to watch more until maaubos ko yun collection ko. hehe Great thing naisip ko yun film fest every week para di ako maguluhan when I choose kung ano papanoorin ko.

I feel right now na and envisioned that how unlucky I am this year, next year will be different and quite fun. I don't know how I became motivated and feel worry free despite what's happened to me or the people around this year. It's sad but God gives life, through his blessings. 

Thanks to him, I feel cared, loved. Through Jesus.. 

For now, yeah, next week will be a special one, I wish all the success for Raims and yes, taon na naman ng St. James, and invade the sosi bazaar. 

A year seems to be like days, that's how fast this time is. Geez.

Honestly, I don't know what to write in this one.. hehe I don't want to spoil naman what happened last weekend. Katamad naman magreview ng movie.

I want to watch a movie pero baka malate naman ako sa work. hehe 

Yun mga ibang naisip ko isulat pang next month pa. Now I'm testing this kingsoft office in my punishing fire, at mukhang maasahan ata. hehe Kahit walang notepad eh pwede naman isave as word file. Pwede na.. hehe Looking forward later eh, after nesting first time na walang headset! Yahoo!!! No more pest customers! hehe

Mukhang I'll use this job to achieve my future short term plans. =) Kagabi, grabe I watched two straight films, mabuti di parehong panget yun dalawa! haha Feeling ko by Wednesday eh tapos na ang film fest ko. I need to buy more blank dvds for alam niyo na, epektos! =) Naisip ko na din to go for an external HDD, kaso wala pang funds.. Pero nakakapagipon na din, isabay na lang with a desktop computer. 

This week, I'll try to make it slow and relax. It was a hectic 2 weeks from work then ito na agad, medyo gagamitin yun analytical skills ko, parang triple move sa RAM ang bawat tasks. Geez. hehe Relax kasi tapos na ang training, I passed na tapos, here KCON is done. No more rushing at least for this time.. I can say I have more days to rest this coming week. Sana lang makuha na namin yun real small pay. hehe

What else? Hmmmmmm I don't have any wishes this xmas season. For myself, nakuha ko naman yun gusto, the intagibles.. =) Siguro wish ko na lang, better life for my family, friends and all of us! Naks. hehe 

Sana naman next year, I reach some drastic improvements in my life. First thing to improve, health! Other things will follow. Yeah!

classics: Being John Malkovich

Have you thought of being in someone's body in 5 minutes and see, feel of that person? 

Me? Nah, because I am contented in what I am or so, but if it's for fun... Why not?

This film well, it caught my attention from the title itself. I mean, you can be Being Tom Cruise, or Being Julia Roberts or Being whatever celebrity they can think of, but they ended up with John Malkovich. I want to know as well at that time, does John Malkovich really show in this film? 

Story goes that Craig a puppeteer, well trying to make ends meet buy doing puppeteering in the streets but ran out of luck. He decided to work with a legal company to sort files thanks to his fast hands. As he doing the job one day, he accidentally discovered a secret room and he went in. He was surprised that it's a portal going to the body of John Malkovich, one of the great character actors in film, then seeing what he's doing or even thinking. He informed this discovery first to one of Craig's acquaintances Maxine, a seductive office worker near at Craig's office. They thought of making this discovery a money making business. After some occassions, Craig said this to Lotte, his wife, and became addicted in going to the portal. One of her visits to the portal, she became in love with Maxine then Maxine also felt the same way with Lotte. As much I want to say the plot, after this, all bizarre, confusion broke lose between Craig, Maxine, Lotte and yes, don't forget John Malkovich.

The only flaw, but it's a minor flaw that easily can look over with is the relationship between Lotte and Maxine. A casual moviegoer may get confused or turned off with that relationship in the movie but for me, it was well written and really helped how the movie going until the end. Of course, in the end they really end up together, suprisingly with a child. 

First I commend the actors who played in this film. Starting with Cameron Diaz, that I hope if she wants a growth in her career, she needs to do a lot of this kind of indie films. I haven't seen a film that she done this kind of roles recently so I hope she can do more. In this film, you can sense that she has a knack for weird or deep roles so I hope she does more. John Cusack, damn... He's previous roles were good but I don't know why in his recent films were kinda lost already. He's great in this film, not only because of his weird puppeteer role but also his feeling towards on what's happening around him. I just hope he can back on track on doing this films. He really took a back seat in his recent films. 

Catherine Keener, wow.. I discovered her in 40 year old virgin as that hot mom dating Steve Carell's character.. Here, damn hot. =) She's one of the 2 main culprits or reasons that made this film memorable to me. I mean, she got an Oscar nomination for this role of seductive, vulnerable and lovely lady who doesn't care what others say. I love the scenes where she was able to seduce John and she was thinking that Lotte is in John's being, so that is quite hard to act. Damn, at the end she got what she wanted. At that film, she doesn't look 40.

John Malkovich! Of course, why if you love him as an actor these times, then you gotta love him in this flick. He's well, 80% percent of the time he's real John Malkovich, then the remaining 20% was how he reacted in the flow in the story. You can say he's quite submissive in this film because 90% of the time, he doesn't know the portal inside of his body. I love his first scenes where he is a casual guy, very calm and thankful what he is. This is the best film for him. Sad to say, yeah, he did not win any award for his role. Geez. 

Give kudos to the supporting cast, the old boss, even some interesting cameos as well, it's a gem that those supporting characters done their parts in an effective way. 

Direction by Spike Jonze should have a credit here, despite the bizarre, crazy idea of the film, he was able to pull it off because of his demand maybe to make the film simple to digest. Even with a lot of things happening, he did not like go into deeper for each character of situation in the film. I loved how he arrange the sequence of the events, well give that credit to editing too, that the viewer is not lost after one thing to another. For instance, how Craig dominated John Malkovich for sometime then shifted until the end.  

Writer Charlie Kaufman made this film a great one. Well, I just watched Adapation, althought it's also a great one, but this one is better. It is also way better than Confessions of a Dangerous mind, he even dissed it because George Clooney made changes of the script. But yeah, this one I don't think any other film tried to really copy or at least imitate what he did in this film. I love the script he done for this film, deep yet simplified. You can hear in his films, he loves poetry and he always put that poetry fit for a film. The only difference of this film to Eternal Sunshine is why Eternal Sunshine is the best film written by him, that film focuses to love, unlike this one, there is love but it shows more of the consequences of being somebody else. But anything else, I can't take away anything what he done for this film, but it's more how he was able to pull off a beautiful bizarre idea into something interesting to watch. 

It's worth for keeps in this film, I wondered if I have that discovery, I wish I could be someone like me with better attributes. 

I'm not into dreaming of somebody else famous. Geez, I don't really like that. =)

I thought one part is enough but it's not. Let's continue! It might go for another post.. 

Headset - it's the thing that is capable of listening to your customer through the ear speakers or what it is and it has a mic to let you speak to the customer. Usually the centres uses platronics or other brands for these headsets. Just be reminded, be careful with them! Be sure to return them or use them in the right way because if not, you'll pay for it. It's pretty expensive. Ah yes, it maybe 2 ear headset and yes, some call centers have 1 ear headset. That one is not easy to use, I better tell you now. Beware of those. 

Phoneset/Hardphone/Avaya - it's the phone handset itself. It's the phone that lets you get the calls, control the volume of the calls and yes, helps you to set the aux (after call and other auxes), and auto-in. It has a timer in handy to check how long you are in the call and it assists to transfer calls to other departments. It can also helps you to make conference calls if needed. Avaya is the number one hardphone used in call centers. Most call centers prefer Avaya, some cisco which I haven't use one and worse but prone friendly, Aspect. I think only one call center uses Aspect, it's quite old you see. It's like a big calculator in a form of a cash register. Ah for these days, they disabled the mute button for the hardphones. Well, for QA reasons perhaps. I can say it's stupid. =)

Softphone - some call centers doesn't have hardphones for cost strategies. Softphones are programs that enables user to use the headset without the physical hardphone. You can transfer, take calls, make calls, conference calls and others, it's like using with a hardphone. It has limitations like no mute button for it. But many call centers are going into this type of managing calls, why not? It's cheaper and space efficient. But for agents, like me, it's crap. 

Auto - in/log-in - these words are the dreaded words that a CSR or any call center agent doesn't want to hear. Even this is the reason why a call center pays us big..  It's like your sacrificing yourself to the wolves. Press that in the hardphone or softphone and you'll take calls. Prepare for the worst and least of the best of your customers. You're lucky if you are idle, avail. But nah, that happens rarely. Poor us.

Avail - it's a span of time that you're doing nothing because no call coming through to you. Agents love to hear this and it's the first word they pray after they auto - in. Hoping for some idle time and relax which of course, not always happen. 

Queuing - second word that a CSR or agent doesn't want to hear. Meaning a lot of callers/customers waiting in queue, waiting to answer their calls, complaints, requests or simply their inquiry. If you see this or hear this from your TL, you need to manage your calls because the centers wants you to eradicate the queue. The reason is well, if we are to answer more customers, centers getting paid for it not for dropped calls. Anyway possible. Yes, anyway possible. For me, I'm fine with the queuing because, I can take some time for a customer's call then have some delays until I reach my breaks or lunch. But yeah, this is draining, adding pressure and stressful. This is one of the factors why our job is not really simple. Consistently serving customers all of them, in the fastest time. 

Breaks - this includes 15 minutes break and lunch. Usually in a 8 hour shift, you have 2 15 minute break and 1 full hour of lunch which is not paid. Be sure to take your breaks not only because of adherence or TL says so. You need to breathe and think of rest. Please..

Adherence - an act of following your schedule of the day, from taking calls in a span of time, following your breaks and lunch and even logging out. 

Log out - another word or happening that a CSR or agent prays. It's the end of the shift, or nearing the end of the shift or even your lunch or break. You're lucky if you're in a long call and approaching your log out time? Good job, you don't have to worry getting overtime. But if you're in avail and have 5 minutes left before logging out, sorry to say.. You need to take one more call and pray it's not a long call. Well, as passage of time, I always do the first one, prolonging the call until I log out. =)

Calls - I almost forgot, yes, there are different types of calls. Inbound which is you are the CSR/Agent, you take a call from a customer/client. Outbound is you call a customer/client for something. Either way, an agent can be good at it. I admit, I'm good at inbound call taking because most of my experiences are in this type. Calls can be also short or long ones. It's self explanatory. 

ACD/ACW/Aftercall - this is a somewhat aux that allows a CSR/agent to finish his notes or what to do in an account. Be sure that if you're in this state, finish your tasks at hand fast and don't be lazy to forget this. If you are in this state for too long, your stats will be affected and get some spankin from your beloved TL. This one really helps if you're nearing break or log out coz it has an allowance of 3-5 minutes. So, after a long call or short call and I have 3-5 minutes before my break or log out, press this one. You're Saved from the wolves! =)

HOLD - this is the part of your call that you put the customer in a musical session or silence spree while you're are doing something to finish the customer's inquiry. Or sometimes, talk first to your team mate about gossip. Even your TL, asking for approval of credit or dispute or have some chit chat first. Or worse, use this to breathe after talking to a naive customer or an irate one. I use this also to prolong my call until I reach my breaks. =) As long you are sure that when you go back to the customer, the call will be finished. There are four steps and rules in putting the customer in hold. Ask permission to the customer, explain why you will put the customer on hold, put the customer on hold then come back and say thanks. Don't forget set expectations how long the hold is. Threshold for hold is 2-3 minutes but it may take longer especially for complicated cases or calls. 

chaka - a gay lingo word usually used, even in the floor about a call which is very bad or worst. It's a form of expression especially for those customers that are quite bad. Or even stupid ones or naive as well. It's like a wasted time talking to them and made your day bad.

Skyfall

Is 4 years worth the wait? It is..

After Quantum of Solace which was not a good Bond movie, I kinda lower my expectations with this film even with a star studded cast and a wonderful director. Those details was announced just last year after filming returned, due to financial hiccups. 

After 2 and a half hours of watching even my Dad fall asleep some parts of the movie, I was amazed how it ran. 

I missed the first 5 minutes of the flick because of the long line outside in the ticketing booth but anyhow.. All I can say, this Bond film is at my top 5 great bond films. Of course my number choice is The Spy who loved me, then next is Goldfinger, and the next 2 are Skyfall and Casino Royale, lastly, maybe Goldeneye, or A view to a kill, but I've not decided yet for that 5th spot.

Story is simple, James Bond is tasked to locate the man who has the HDD from MI6, while catching the dude, he was shot and end up dead as M proclaimed. After sometime, Bond refaces back to MI6, but the terrorist already killing MI6 agents because of the HDD and time is running out to catch the madman. Then, the chase is on to locate the madman and it happens that he knows the past of M. With the help of his associate who shot him, Q and a government offical who try to save MI6 so they can catch this terrorist, James Bond needs to give all to save M and MI6 from destruction even with the blown up headquarters. 

Other parts till the end, you need to watch it!

The parts that I can say well did not help the movie. The dialogue is not bad, or so british, it's just well, the nature of Sam Mendes films are really dialogue driven, so this film almost reached the boundary of a lot of talking and the action scenes. That is the reason Dad fell asleep for sometime due to the long dialogue scenes, except for the scenes that it has Berenice Marlohe. =) Other thing that quite bother the film, the use of CG in that Komodo Dragon or that weird looking croc. It's not polished as it may seem but it looks like they rushed making that animal. I don't know if it's real but definitely they did something on that animal to look like big. Besides, it's hard to locate one of those in reality, how about in a film? I hope they used other animals than that thing. Another one, but just a feedback about Silva's lair, hmmmm I hope they have other places than that. I thought they flew to eastern europe for it. But that's fine for the place, it's pretty logical especially with that flow of the story. Ah yes, I hope it had more blood for those action scenes, but it's not really needed as it is beautiflly directed. 

First what I love of this film, the action and chasing scenes are long and detailed. It's an experience that takes your breath away, like the first chase, my Dad kinda frown that those new beetles were just thrown away. =) But the pace of it, just magnificent until of course Bond got shot. Then the chase going to the committee hearing, that M almost got shot and run away with Bond. I love the last action sequence it's like Die Hard style with a bit of nostalgia, because of the Aston car there. The action scenes made this film not really bourne like but a James Bond flick like Casino Royale. James is vulnerable but calm, clever and quite cold blooded killer. 

Second, I love this flick because of the dialogue and screenplay entails to it. It's been a long time to see a James Bond who has a great story development, with its rise and fall storyline with a great climax at the end. The dialogue, which is not very british, the actors used plain english and great thing no one used like Scottish or Welsh, maybe for Albert Finney's character which is understandable. But the depth of the dialogue of all characters made this film so immense and unlikely for a James Bond film worked. I hope that the screenwriters will go back for the future James Bond flicks. The feeling of each character through it's story really show well and precise to what the story goes. Some surprises also helped the story kept going until the end. 

I should really give credit to Sam Mendes because this film is really beyond his usual film. Mostly well, drama flicks. This one, he put some effort more to action than the drama parts because he believed in his cast. That's a great decision for his part so he can focus more in what the movie should show, than the drama scenes. He had faith to this cast and it delivered effortlessly. Although like I said there were parts that quite almost made me fell asleep, the pacing is just right and gives it all at the end. Give credit to the cinematography and context of the locations as well, how he used those locations to blend with the film. Thanks to him, we have a great Bond film for the ages. 

Lastly, as the director have faith to his cast, give big credit to the actors. Now, Daniel Craig's best performance as James is here. It is, so this one should help him get good roles in the future. His portrayal of James Bond is coming of age, developing into something in his own, and a good looking Bond. Great looking Bond. Judi Dench also for all the James Bond flicks she made, she gave it all for this one. It's sad that this is the last one, you'll see why, but I really commend her for doing consistenly a lady M, her strong will personality shows here and her passion of serving to MI6 shines here. Another one, Javier Bardem, simply one of the baddest villain James faced in the series. Silva's character is kinda psychotic yet calm madman. That blond hair fits him and simply amazing portrayal from him, I love the scene where he is in the glass cell. Quite scary dude, and how he attacked Skyfall and M. 

The supporting characters here are fantastic, from Naomie Harris which we will see her a lot later due to her quirky role. Ah, Ralph Fiennes as a great actor always be, I'm definitely looking forward to see him in the future James Bond flicks, he's quite a copy of those old James Bond bosses. Q is an interesting character to look at it, young, smart and pale looking, very deceiving with those glasses. Albert Finney? Quite suprising character, I am thinking at the end, where is Albert Finney in Skyfall, and realized after a second look, yeah, very clever role for him. Great part for him. Lastly, Berenice Marlohe, well, spoiled milk. What I hate in Daniel Craig's Bond series is all the great looking ladies were killed. Eva Green's character stood the longest screening time but ended up killed. =( Gemma Arterton which I love because I saw her in Quantum of Solace's role, way better looking than Olga, innocently killed. Damn.. Then here, Berenice as I hope she will be saved or lived all throughout like the other Bond girls, was killed abruptly.. Damn, I hope in the next Bond flicks, the better looking lady will live until the end. Please! =) But her role served right for the film, not bad for a first timer actress.

Anyway, for the SkyFall, one of the clever titles for a Bond flick. Interesting to look at James Bond roots and that place is kinda far. Great title for a great film. 

The last 2 flicks for Daniel Craig for James Bond will be quite a big pressure because of this great one. But for me, as long the cast is good, not complicated and dumb plot like Quantum and serious acting, I won't put big expectations for the next 2 flicks. As long they deliver, James Bond will live forever.

A Secret Affair

As much I want to write a review for SkyFall but well.. Lets waste sometime to a film that its such a waste of time. hehe 

The only thing I love in this film, yeah, bonding time with Dad. hehe Eh gusto daw niya makapanood ng sine, edi eto na. Yung the mistress pwede ko na pagbigyan due to acting.. Kung baga, hmmm kahit di naman sulit, di naman sayang ang time. Sige magreview naman ako ng film na pinoy, na medyo di masyado maganda. 

But for this one? Oh please.. 

If there is a refund policy in cinemas, eto, hihingi ako! hehe 

Anyway, ok as the story is simple. Rafa (Anne Curtis) got suprised na maeengage siya with Anton (Derek Ramsey) after 2 months in a relationship. Anton is well, kala mo is the ideal dude eh yun lang, may Sam (Andi Eigenmann) on the side. Side bet. hehe Well, Rafa due to the overwhelming response daw sa ginawa ng fiance eh nagbackout ng wedding. She went away, then siyempre nasaktan naman si pareng Anton, kaya ayun, veteran move si Sam at naging well that's the secret affair. 

Rafa got back and decided to give the relationship another chance with Anton. But may pagkaobsessed si Sam, wanting Anton to leave Rafa for her. Anton doesn't want to, then after some revelations at kaunting spy by Rafa eh nalaman na din ang affair ni Anton kay Sam. 

Then yeah, the bickering, fighting, slapping, cursing, tapunan ng shampoo at yun pangtanggal ng kati, I forgot ano pangalan ng lotion na yun.. hehe Realizing, blaming, basagan, balikan tapos sa huli.. There, wala din napala ang couple, Anton and Rafa gave up. Then Sam, realized she shouldn't "love" daw si Anton because bawal nga.. Ayun, they drove away into bliss. Nice cars by the way.

We went home ni Dad. hehe 

Ah geez, all those things I said were enough proof that the story was bad. By the way, give credit to the special participation of Nina, na after singing eh one liner lang. Tapos Tim Yap, well, talagang party master ha, at yeah, chismoso, good cameo este participation pala. hehe Ah how about Jaycee Parker! Mas ok pa yun ginawa niya sa Asiong kahit sandali lang siya, kaysa dito. Anak ng tinapa, yun famous line Jacklyn Jose dun pala.. I really laughed at that scene. hehe

Its really what can I say, a great marketing movie to sell.. Wow.. Ah there were a lot of holes, or even yes, acting flaws. Ika nga ni Dad, pangsosyal yun movie. Paano ba naman, parang walang mahirap sa buhay nila, sobrang yaman ng lahat ng characters. At yun nga, english halos ang dialogue, isama mo pa si Andi Jose este Andi Eigenmann. hehe Well, I hope she improves her english skills, sayang.. Face, angles and yeah, I like her than Anne in terms of physical prowess. hehe Pero sad to say, eto yun tipong kailangan may dala kang scotch tape pagkasama mo siya. Magtagalog na lang siya at mas mabuti pa sa kanya. I like her character though, but its just shallow.

Well, siyempre don't forget Anne na yeah, kahit mas gusto ko yun figure niya dati na medyo mataba, kaso sa pilates and yoga, sobra naman payat. Pero maganda pa din siya. No doubt about that. Ah yeah, kung nagenglish siya, sana Aussie slang na di ba. Parang nawala na ata yun accent niya. Her acting well, I don't know. It's more of a confused one, confused na character niya, lalo na si Anne. Derek well, like Anne, brit accent na lang sana din, maybe he lost that na din. Sayang yun character niya, but it's not fit for him. Geez, ah.. Give credit to them for being looked nice on screen. Yun lang siguro. Ah so I forgot, I read over some reports na hirap si Andi with this movie. I don't think so, she didn't even show some skin, so I don't know yun kinaiyak niya dito. hehe

Ok, other than giving them credit in some parts, I hope they fixed the..

Casting, since nandiyan naman si Jacklyn Jose, aba sana sila na lang ni Andi ang mag ina tapos yun role ni Andi yun kay Anne, I think medyo ok yun film nun. Anne yeah is the bad girl, kaso ayaw niya ata kahit ganun ata role niya sa No Other Women which I don't have plans to watch it. Derek, hmmmm well, since R13, no choice, more acting and timing sa sad scenes, for the love scenes, hanggang dun lang. hehe Sana naman di sa construction site ang well.. hehe Mayaman naman sila, di kaya sa hotel or well condo. 

The film, if they really want na maganda, aba eh todo na ang murahan or sampalan and yes, love scenes. Viva is known before na alam na! R18. hehe Childhood days.. Kung si Quark or Erik Matti to, malamang maraming action mangyayari sa tatlong to! hehe At yes, dapat aarte naman sila kahit sexy ang flick. But since well you cannot do that sa pampered and protected stars ng film, the rating and with that love triangle concept, they don't care for art or anything will change the view of a simple movie goer. Mabuti pa yun mga veteran supporting cast ng film, dun pa ko natuwa eh. Sinusulit ang screen time. hehe Indie na lang talaga ang hope when it comes to great pinoy flicks. Hay.. 

I'll give credit sa cinematography because of the good close up shots. Except for the slow motion scenes which I don't think needed. 

I can't imagine this flick earned enough that Anne, Derek, and Andi can buy their own cooper, mercedes, and better than mazda 6. Ganun talaga ang tao, madala sa star studded cast, hysterical scenes and don't forget, the lines that I can't forget because I laughed. hehe 

Damn, after makita ko yun trailer nung nandito si Igz, I cannot believe I'll watch this.. 

Sa sobrang bad trip ko ata, di ko akalain mahaba sinulat ko dito. It wasted my time. hahahaha

I thought Dad want also to watch suddenly it's magic ba yun.. Ah may taste si Dad, ayaw niya ng ganun. hehe 

Mabuti naman.

Almost Gone: Post Office

Pumupunta lang ko dito pagkukuha ng Cedula, kasi pwede sa min. At yun postal ID kung pwede in the future. But for packages and snail mail? Di na.. 

Sad to say, wala na ko nakikitang mamang Kartero naglalakad sa araw para magdala ng sulat. Nakakita ako once pero di na yun kagaya dati. Lalo na nung bata ako, may nagiikot lagi sa min.

Due to the advent of mobile phones, smartphones, SMS, internet lalo ang email..  How about remittances? Eh PT&T tapos LBC eh dati may nagdedeliver sa bahay. Ngayon, punta ka na lang sa center tapos kunin mo pera or simply funds transfer na lang sa internet. Text mo ng SMS imbes na telegram, morse code or well kung nagpager ka pa. hehe Courier services like FedEx, UPS, DHL and kahit LBC eh natabunan na talaga yun post offices, not only here but around the world na siguro. 

Last time ako pumunta sa Post office to get something eh kasama ko pa si Ron Marc at para pa sa piyesa ng Magic. hehe But anyway, yeah.. Naaawa lang ako sa situation ng Post Offices, even in the US, they were a lot of cut backs done just to reduce the expenses of the post offices. 

I watched an episode sa news tv, may ibang lugar pa pala sa bansa ang gumagamit pa talaga ng post office. Yun napanood ko, imbes na sms, eh nag telegrama pa. hehe Very  old school. 

Hmmmm I did send snail mail pero di na sa Post office, kasi naman kung di lang sa mabagal eh masama pa mawala yun mga padala mo. Or worse, tinago pa o ninakaw pa! Ayos di ba. Pero mukhang maayos naman sila ngayon, after some cutbacks eh kaunti lang ang tao sa post office pero umaandar pa din. Its sad na dati sobra ang pila sa post office kasi lahat magpapadala ng sulat. Tapos yun feeling na fulfilled mareceive yun sulat mo after a long walk or how many ships o dinaanan na islands just to send the letter. 

Well, those days were gone. For now, as technology grows faster and other means of transporting are getting faster din, eh one day, di na post office ang dating yan. Place for your PO Boxes perhaps. May gumagamit pa ba ng PO Box sa tin? hehe For business yun malamang. Kahit sa abroad, may PO Box pa. Sa atin lalo na personally parang wala kumukuha nun. Siguro di lang alam ng tao may ganun. Hehe

Or may cellphone naman, ok na yun. 

I hope di mawala ang Post office, kasi what if every technology falls tapos back to manual tayo!

Edi kailangan ng post office for your communication needs. =)  Not only the government should take the action na maitain yun post offices. Dapat tayo din, kahit bisitahin siguro ang post office ok lang o kahit paminsan minsan padala ka kahit isang sulat lang para maramdaman nila na may silbi pa ang opisina nila. 

Kasi sayang naman kung di natin gagamitin ang isang paraan ng komunikasyon na kinagisnan natin. Sabagay, kahit sobrang advance na lahat ng means of delivery than post office eh well, wag na natin hintayin na kumonti o mawala na sa bayan ang post office .Kaya yun, sana lang tuloy tuloy pa din ang kanilang operations even it these fast paced times where our planet becomes a smaller place.

Post offices are a must,kasi dahil sa kanila.. May huling paraan pa para mapadala ang mensahe mo sa iyong minamahal.. Kahit san ka man o kahit anong oras pa..

Anyway, bago ako magaral for the exam tomorrow para sa product training eh feeling ko parang RAM ang work ko. Pero it's a lot challenging and yes, may AHT na backoffice. RAM din ang seating, midshift ang sked kasi walang upuan. hehe But ok lang, weekends off and it's a sign na mukhang makakaserve na. Naks.. Thanks!

Basta ang sure eh Sunday off, ok na.. Sana pagpumasa at natrain ako ng ibang queue eh pangumaga naman ang sked. 

Bit by bit I was able to fix some things, but not all of it pa. Due to budget constraints eh mukhang pagiipunan ko pa yun iba. 

Can't believe with the help of my punishing fire, I was able to watch na over 12 films in 2 weeks!!!! Well, I'm planning na pagpatuloy ang sariling film fest since it's time to spoil my treasure.

I thought wala ng cinemanila, but the sad thing eh dahil sa sked ko, parang wala ako aabutan para manood. Sana gawin na lang nila sa Makati or QC kasi kakatamad naman pumunta sa Market! Market!

Well, medyo maya maya na ko magaaral, basta importante eh pumasa ako bukas at yun nesting next week. Kakagulat na si Amalayer, (Am I liar? daw.. hehe) Eh galing pala sa amin, nagtraining pero di umabot ng floor, at ayun tanggal sa nesting, alam na kung bakit. Kitang kita naman sa Video. hehe Poor girl. 

Great thing NBA started na at I wish OKC will go to the finals or MIA, at MEM or sige na nga, LAL pero di ko sila masyado priority. Naaawa lang ako kay Steve Nash at D'Antoni. hehe 

What else? Ahhh.. Xmas is coming and I don't know what are my plans for. Still cold XMAS, and quite flat broke. hehe But yeah, important if I have this job I'll be fine and yeah.. Next year will be a great one and defining. Path to redeem starts next year, basta walang aberya. At masunod lang ang mga plans.. =)

Ano pa? Hmmmmm Yeah, yun susunod na blog ko dito, napakahirap.. Translated kasi into 2! Geez.. Pero kailangan tapusin, wala nga ingay eh, pero ok lang.. Once naisa isa ko na yun mga alam ko, malamang may magbabasa na. From the industry. 

Ah, for now eto lang muna, I'm fine for now and looking forward to my new work once I pass..

Once a catholic priest asked me pagkatapos ko magsuggest na kailangan ng maraming pari sa kumpisal, na bakit di daw ako magpari. Or another instance na pagnasa confession booth ako then after I speak eh tanong ng pari, pari ka ba? 

Of course, I answered no. It's not really my calling.. =)

You can see I'm religious and siyempre di pa spritually matured. hehe Magkaiba yun, at naisip ko din, paano kaya kung nagpari ako. Kahit sila kuya na nagsabi na magpari daw ako para ako daw mangumpisal. hehe But nah, di talaga para sa akin yun pagiging pari. Although I follow or understand yun mga pari, like sa homily na we should pray that na dumami ang mga pari, to claim the harvest of people. The fisherman of the people. 

Besides, pag nagpari ka, medyo maraming perks.. Libre kainan pag may nagimbita. LO pag may ginawa ka for a ceremony of sorts, or special favor like masses, weddings, confessions or pray over, house blessing and etc. Of course, may title ka, FR. Many adore or follow you, considering as a leader ng community. At pagkilala o medyo sikat na, plus media exposure like other priests. =) No taxes din at yes, you'll not be affected for many problems in your life like family or personal problems kasi you'll be more devoted of serving the community and the church itself. 

Well, kahit ganun ang perks pero siyempre may mga bawal din, hmmmm kahit profession siya, eh di ka naman pwede gala ng gala, or gimmick. Kagaya yun nakita ko sa XXX channel 2 show na pari eh nagbeerhouse.. Nasawa na siguro sa mopo lang iniinom. hehe You cannot go like travelling a lot, kasi everytime you travel eh most of the time, missions. Worse, go to the countries that kung hindi war torn, eh hostile pa with other religions, mahigpit. 

Di rin pwede kumita kasi yun mga nakukuha mo donation or LO eh para sa simbahan, di naman lahat para sa iyo. hehe You can't even have a car agad kasi depende sa church yan or well, matagal ka na nagipon. How about putting up a business? Di din pwede, kung mayroon man, malamang bawal isolo mo lahat ng kita. 

Siyempre, wala namang pari na di religious, I mean bihira ka makakita na after mag mass eh alis na tulog agad like what we do professionals. hehe Dami pa gagawin yun. 

At ang mahirap sa lahat, no friendly dates or real dates with women and in the end, the hardest part of all.. You cannot marry. Damn.. =(

Besides all that pros and cons, ang pinakagusto ko naman sa mga Pari eh yun total dedication nila kay God, in the name of Jesus Christ for the service they do. Devoted to serve not only yun usual parishoners but also to reach other people who are lost, confused, depressed or even looking for answers in life. Or how about yun mga katolikong nagsisimba lang pero parang di pa masaya. Priest teaches those people not only to pray or read the bible but also, doing service for God. Loving him unconditionally and serving people without asking for return. Spreading his eternal words to people in the most simplistic yet holistic way. Fearless because of deepen faith. Lovely because of unconditional love to him. Giving hope for those who felt nothing is going their way. 

As a representative of the high above, it's a honor talaga na serving Him and left everything for him. Yun talaga ang tama according to the scriptures, leaving everything behind for him, as you'll be blessed riches in heaven. Naks, but that's their motivation, not the riches here on earth. They are the bridge for the people going closer to him. Kahit mahirap, di sila nagrereklamo. Kaya bilib din naman ako sa kanila, even they have a lonely life, they seem to be not alone kasi sa strong relationship through those in the same faith at lalo naman kay God. 

Sana naisip ko din, pwede din na magpari na lang ako matagal na. Tahimik siguro ang buhay ko ngayon, living without real worries. Pero kaya di ko din kaya kasi gusto ko naman magkapamilya. =) More importantly, loving someone that will live beside you forever. 

I have different reasons pa pero sa ngayon, I know my purpose in life.. I'll make sure na one part of my life or may mga sandali na nakapaglingkod ako sa iba for the glory of God. 

But for priest, the glory of God is always with them.. 

At that day they agreed to give up everything they have, even their own happiness and followed him. =)

CD-R KING

Kulang na lang Ref ang gawin nila o siguro, sariling computer set. hehe I mean the processor, RAM, HDD or even motherboard. Lahat ng  peripherals meron na sila eh. 

I can't believe na around college days eh ang binebenta lang nila ay mga blank CD lang. Then DVD format arrived, nag blank DVD din sila, tapos nagbebenta na sila ng peripherals noong but branded. Still they don't have POS machines. Old school, hardware type payment system. Lista, bayad tapos resibo, yun lang. Kaya talagang matagal ka pag dumaan dito. 

Pero nung tumagal and almost a decade, dumami na branch nila at yes, cannot believe they made their own set of devices, even TV's, LED tv's pa! DVD players, cellphones, modems, other appliances and even generators! Yes, small generators. Geez, nahiya pa sila. hehe Siyempre nandiyan pa din ang mga blank DVD, CDs and other household things. I don't know how they were able to expand their business but siguro talaga its the matter of saving for the future operations. Although may mga nagsara na CDR king like sa Quiapo at UST, even sa DLSU wala na.. They have a lot of branches naman, at dumadami pa!

I can say that this shop or venture eh one of the successful ventures I saw in the recent time. Not super big time pero despite of decreasing price of electronic parts or gadgets at sama mo pa na laging nagbabago ang computer parts and the dawn of mobile computing eh lalo pa ata sila kumikita. At lumalaki pa.. Nakita ko nga yun operations nila just by monitoring them. Prompt service and knowledgeable staff, kahit si ate eh kala mo sa sari sari store lang ang dating o iba kamukha ng mga tindera namin.. hehe Pero yun alam nila ang ano parts ang kailangan, o ano pwede, yun mga technical info alam nila. Hirap siguro ng training nila. hehe Their tech support ok din, test muna bago kunin yun order. Sa dami ko binili sa kanila, bihira lang ako nagkaproblema, I forgot na nga kung ano yun. I want to thank them kasi sa kanila lang ako bumibili ng blank DVDs for my well vast collection. hehe Mura kasi blank DVD at may quality pa. 

Pero definitely, it's an one stop shop for all your IT/computer needs! hehe Si Kuya nga, sa sobrang lakas ng CDR king eh binabase niya na yun presyo ng Memory card or flash drive sa kanila kasi may mga customer talaga dun pa pumupunta para bumili. Kaya kahit maliit tubo niya, no choice eh, kailangan isabay mo yun presyo mo sa kanila.

Panget lang sa kanila, well kasama sa pagtitipid yun old school system nila, kahit matagal pwede na pagtiyagaan pero sana pagisipin nila in the future na maging electronic na di ba. Siguro umiiwas sila sa additional tax! hehe

Naisip ko nga na magfranchise o kahit kami ng family kasi talagang kumikita siya at ang mahirap na part sa operations eh inventory siguro. Lalo na ngayon, ang dami ng gamit na ginagawa nila! Kaya kakaawa siguro na nagiinventory nun. hehe 

Isa pa pala na medyo alanganin.. Eh sa monitor, TVs at LED/LCD tvs.. I'm not sure kung reliable, pero one time may nagpapalit at mukhang galing pa sa malayong lugar yun customer.. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, mukhang magdadalawang isip ako bago bumili ng monitor or LED sa kanila. hehe Eh paano ba naman, sira na TV after 6 years of wear and tear.. Kaso pag sa SM ka tumingin or ibang appliance store, mahal talaga.. Out of budget. Crap.. 

Well, I'll see kung ok sa kanila, hoping it's worth the buy.

I hope they will grow further, and yeah marami pa sila maserve na customer at oo, marami pa silang maemploy na tao...

Sana tuloy lang nila na affordable yun prices for the masses..

I can say that as much for my dedicated sister in the family. Well, to tell you the truth, we only got closer when patapos na ko ng HS until now. Eh those years, I have not really find which sa family that I can ask help or confide with. Mahirap ang mga taon yun sa kin, kasi naman for what happened but important eh at least may isang tao kahit papano nakaintindi sa kin. =)

Well, sana magkalapit kami ng edad pero hindi. Almost a decade ang agwat namin tapos ayun sinasabon pa din kahit ngayon. hehe I still remember those fond days of staying at her clean room with tons of vinyl album covers, namely most of them, Rick Astley! 

But yeah, maraming bagay ang tinulong niya sa kin. Una na diyan eh sa math! I am really slow at math before, lalo na sa multiplication table. Pero siya yun nagtiyaga sa kin magturo every Sundays noon, that was wayback grade 4 pa ko. Sobrang tiyaga niya sa kin at nagbunga naman. Ayun, ok na ko sa math until now except for word problems. hehe

Hmmmm ah siyempre, UST! Ganun to kaloyal sa UST although siyempre ibang batch and courses kami, nabigyan naman ako ng tips about her experiences. Ah, taga gawa din ng project siya lalo na sa mga art project at T.H.E projects. Artist naman kasi. Permanship lang talaga ang di niya natiyagaan sa kin, kasi ako naman ang may problema talaga dun. Until now, crooked writing pa din ang dating ko. hehe

Kahit strict siya, well.. Tama naman siya but not all the time. Especially these years na may mga sinabi siya na kala niya ginawa o ginagawa ko pa din pero di niya alam. I'm done at those things. I learned my lessons and ayun, pinagbibitangan niya pa din ako. Even I want to reply at those things, di na.. Palampasin ko na lang at kalimutan ko na kasi di naman nakakasakit sa kin. Kaasar lang minsan pero sige pagbigyan ko na lang. hehe

I even became close to her noong tumira ako sa kanila in LP for my HSBC years/ex years. hehe Siyempre, may bonus ka pang kasama like Kuya Dong, my wonderful brother in law and the kids sila Pristie and Kathryn.. Sobrang laid back at saya, lalo na sa music and movie lover at one of the funniest guys I've known na si Kuya Dong.. Mga medyo sosyal pero mabait at masipag na mga pamangkin ko. Very active Pristie at sobrang jolly na si Kathryn. Well, minsan nga kakahiya talaga tumira dun kasi siyempre family yun, panggulo ka pa. So, ayun they let me feel na welcome naman ako lagi sa kanila. =)

Ah, as years goes by.. There, they have a very lovely home.. A better living and yeah, I can see na masaya sila. Lalo na si Ate, although ayun there are problems to solve pero gusto ko kay Ate eh malakas pa din loob niya na they will go over what's happening and making ways to make life simpler or easier. 

Even she only cooks some foods and not perfectly.. hehe Pero as a wife, for me, ok na siya at kaya't mahal na mahal siya nila Kuya Dong and nila Pristie and Kathryn. I forgot, yeah thanks to my lovely Ate eh nakakapagregalo ako sa mga nililigawan ko! Siya ko nakuha yun mga tips for gifts for girls. hahahaha

Ate, I know for now you will tell what's best for me and other members of our family. It shows how you love us very much despite of what's happening or so.. At the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for it and don't worry, I hope, as in my case, trust me for my decisions or ano yun gagawin ko for life. With all your advices o kahit dati, ikaw yun taga curfew ko, hehe I learn a lot and I won't do any actions that really ruin my life. I know I've a lot to prove or achieve pero sana just leave me and let me live what I can and wanted to. 

One day, you'll see what I am talking about. =) I have my own plans and I know what to do. Thanks pala sa lahat ng mga tulong ginawa mo, alam mo na yun kung ano. hehe Sobrang dami tinulong mo sa kin, like this computer that I am using now, even it's medyo bibigay na, eh tinulungan mo ko how to get this one before. =) I'm sorry if sometimes pasaway pa ko or failed pa din. 

Kaya, I pray that you remain as you are or improve siguro sa cooking. hehe And be a guide sa mga magagandang pamangkin ko, alam ko kaya ka ganyan kasi you love them but also learn to feel and attach to them in a nice way. At siyempre, be a good wife, I know di mahaba pasensya mo, pero due to your love kay Kuya Dong.. Aba, medyo humaba ang pasensya mo at I can see and feel that you love Kuya Dong always and forever. Naks.. Parang nakita ko yun phrase na yun sa frame niyo. hehe

Be strong and enjoy that you have a close and loving family. Both you and Kuya Alpro are lucky and blessed, you both have a loving and supporting family which I believe one day, success will come.

When I was able to watch Amy Winehouse's concerts, and at last! Nakita ko na din kung gaano kapanget yun EVA na remake.. I was stunned at this piece of gadget that definitely make my film addiction going through, my internet surfing easier at some gaming na din.. It's a well time xmas gift!! Thanks!!!!!!!! hehe

Ah after I sold Griffith at a bargain price, I was able to search for a product to really solve all my concerns especially when it comes to playing all my movies in my very vast library. In a short budget of course. hehe 

First I thought of siyempre S2 or Galaxy Note na kahit second hand since maganda ang review sa gsmarena.com at proven na! Feeling ko din, kaya niya iplay yun large movie files. Kaso kahit 2nd hand, I don't have that much money. hehe 

I thought of waiting for a new computer but the problem eh kailan pa yun? 

My DVD player, eh can play AVI files and some large AVI files but not mp4, mkv, m4v, and all other movie files. Bumigay pa ang TV ko. hehe 

I searched sa google and long and behold! I found what I need. 

I checked the reviews first and almost 90% of the reviews were positive at parang naisip ko, aba ok to ha! Mura at mukhang maasahan pa. Kahit Android OS pa, besides iOS won't be available in any other platform except Apple products. 

This is the Ainol Novo 7 Fire! Yeah as you see, weird name. Actually look at their website at ainol-novo.com kung tama ako, they have a lot weird names sa mga tablet nila and yeah, forgive the wrong spelling and grammar. 

Anyway, after I placed the reservation and waited for almost one and a half months eh nakuha ko na din. Thanks to the help of Rheg. hehe The mean machine I can say, like other says, one heck of a tablet. Kaya pala pagnagpareserve ka dito, siyam siyam ang hihintayin. Overflowing ang orders and yeah, this baby did not disappoint. 

It's a 7 inch full touch IPS screen, corning glass.. Aluminum back and malinaw yun resolution. Partida, di ko pa iniilaw yun kahit madilim. Pwede mo pa siya iset na malinaw! hehe

It is run through Android Jelly Bean, 4.1. Ah has small speakers pero better use your headset na lang. Maganda sound niya ha, crisp like my Nokia X2-00. Ah specs? Dual Core processor with dual core graphics kaya 99% ng movie files ko umandar, yun 1% actually palpak lang yun file nakuha ko. Yun isa mali ang subtitle, yun isa di ko malipat dito from the DVD. hehe Take note, no need for video converter programs!!!! Yeah!!! Just drag and drop na lang. 

At yes, dahil na din sa great free movie players like mx player and my isa pa for subtitle files na di kaya ng mx player, mukhang makakapanood na ko ng collection ko with no worries. I know its from China and you may doubt the quality, pero grabe, this is the only China made tablet that has great built and easy to use. Di mo akakalain na galing sa China. 

Maganda pa, no need to drag and drop using iOS. Plug and play lang with the help of OTG cable through USB at ayun parang naglalagay ka lang sa memory card! hehe I forgot it has 5 megapixel back camera, 2 megapixel front pero I rarely use it. hehe Pero I can say, not bad pictures it can take. 

Ah, yes! It help to decrease the time opening my computer, and do some stuff that I do dito sa computer ko. I can even bank sa online BPI without downloading their app. hehe It has FB, YM, Twitter at my palm na. Minsan eto na lang binubuksan ko other than my computer, lalo na pag katams na. The only thing left na di kaya eh warcraft 3 and other games na mas maganda sa desktop computer. At siyempre other computer applications. I can write blog naman kaso yun app na gusto ko, binibili pa sa android play store. Makapunta nga sa greenhills baka mura yun app at makakuha pa ko ng ibang app na trip ko. hehe Mas mabilis pa ata to kaysa sa computer ko ngayon eh. hehe 

About warranty, well may distributor naman sila dito at wala naman ako narinig na sirain for this one kaya I feel tatagal to. =)

Panget lang? Hmmmm walang Ishield para sa model na ito. May nakita ko, kaso 1thou at walang warranty like Ishield. Bwisit! hehe Mahirap maglinis ng screen nito. At yeah, mahirap hanapan ng accessory nito like cap leather case. Geez ayoko puro gasgas to! I forgot na may HDMI cable ito for playing files in your HDTV, pero wala din naman kwenta sa kin, lalo't wala naman ako TV. 

I forgot, pwede pala lagyan ng memory card ito, micro SD and up to 32 GB. 

Well, the best part of this gadget that really shocks me? I only bought it for around 8300 brand new with some accessories. Warning, wag sa gameline bumili. Panget ng package nila! Mas maganda pa sa sulit.com.ph or other retailers na nagbebenta nito, same warranty at mura pa ng mga 300. Peste kasing OTG cable yun. hehe OTA whatever. Anyway, yeah.. Look at kindle fire, $200 pero no memory card extension. Galaxy Tab which mga pinakamura WIFI version, 13k. Then IPAD which is what? 25k pinakamura although maganda pero well.. You need paid apps to get good movie players at malamang di pa kaya ng subtitle. Like my Itouch 32gb, nah.. Ipad Mini? Malamang nasa 20k yun pinakamababa estimate. 

Eh dito, by the way, di pwede sim card, pero pwede siyempre USB dongle or simply wifi connection na lang, wifi hub pwede sa kanya.

Meaning this thing is a great value for money. Definitely. Period. Kaya tawa ako ng tawa sa mga ibang tablet na mura nga, hirap naman yun touch or well, has single core at malamang di kaya yun lahat ng movie files. Or maliit lang ang memory. 

Dito, sure na, kahit anong file, naplay ko na kaya happy ako na di lang mapapanood lahat ng movie files that I have but also do other things as well. I just need to get those apps at a very cheap price. Peste kasing Android, ayaw sa jailbreak. Mautak. hehe

Punishing Fire, it's named after a magic card na champion years ago sa legacy grand prix dito. Ang ginagawa niya parang bumabalik yun card then 2 damage. Basta may kacombo siyang card na kaya nagchamp ang deck na to. 

Layo no? hehe Pero siguro punished lahat ng movie files ko, kaya niya iplay at siyempre ang mga kalaban niya. hehe I don't care about what brand you have sa tablet. Eh basta ako, lahat nandito na. 

Ah, yeah! They have released a quad core 10 inch tablet for only $200.00 plus shipping mga $20.00. Hero II pangalan, feeling ko dito mga 11k yun kasama patong nung mga retailers dito! hehe Naglabas sila ng same 7 inch but quad core na, Flame 2.

Sa susunod, ok na yun Hero 2! Parang naging mura si Asus transformer dito. Kawawa naman. 

I don't know if I'll sell this one, it's hard to sell kasi natuwa ako sa kaya niyang gawin. Pero pag mura si Hero 2.. 

Aba eh kuha na! The tablet Killer!!!! =) Sana lagyan nila ng slot ng simcard para tapos na ang kalaban. hehehe

flashbacks: Wasaque na Wasaque!

I look at the ceiling and telling myself, here we go again! hehe This time, it's worse, not really.. 

That day was the final day working sa previous team ko at Teletech. Pero siyempre, sabi nga ni TL, work life balance daw, so nagyaya sila na mag inuman, kahit saan daw. Actually naisip na sa timog pero well, biglang naisip sa Ortigas na lang, metrowalk na. At that time, noong una ayoko kasi damn last day at gusto ko na magpahinga! hehe Pero yeah, since wala pa ko nasasalihan na outing with the team kahit once, well I don't count yun Total Recall showing, eh sama na ko. One and done!

Yohoo was the place na pinuntahan namin. I thought barbeque han lang siya, kasi masarap talaga barbeque dun, from chicken, liempo, at kahit isaw. Eh, matindi din pala sa inuman ito! Mura ang bucket lalo na sa patay na oras, which is hapon before night hours. 

Edi yun, actually dapat Jose muna, kaso ishot daw pagdating nung iba. Aba eh ala naman magtiniginan lang kami o kumain, ilabas na ang mga kabayo! 

Of course, mabagal ang pace ko kasi siguro naisip ko lang that time eh mga 10pm nasa bahay na ko. So there, kwentuhan, explain kung bakit ako aalis and sorts, at laglagan din. hehe Aba nung matagal tagal parang after ng 2 bottles eh mga bucket pa dumadating. Si TL umalis sandali, may pinuntahan tapos pagbalik niya, dun daw tatapusin yun Cuervo. Edi siyempre ako naman, di naman ako aalis na di nagpapaalam kay TL, kakahiya naman ata. 

After around 8pm, ayun dumating na yun iba totoma, tapos nakabalik na si TL. Wow, parang naka 5 bote na ko.. Pero parang wala pa ko tama, ibig sabihin kaya pa! Matagal tagal na kasi ako di umiinom ng Red Horse. Anyway, yun na! Inorder na ang Jose Cuervo, at siyempre, may asin at lemon na. Alam na.. Iikot ito. hehe

Eh ang problema, after ng isang round ng shot, aba kumonti yun magshot ng Cuervo! From 8 ata, naging parang lima na lang kami. At ang dami pa!!!! Bad trip naman, mukhang 12am na ko makakauwi. Anyway, yun na.. Edi dahan dahan inubos na namin.. Ako eh, kaunting tubig, CR tapos shot yun lang. Hanggang sa umabot sa huling shot eh gusto I forgot yun term basta ilublob yun shot glass with Jose tapos isama sa Red Horse!!!! Barrel ata ang tawag, anyway.. Wow! After that, parang wala na.. Dun na ko tinamaan.. Parang gusto ko na matulog at makalimutan na to. hehe

Nagpaalam na ko kay TL then say goodbye to my former team mates. I went home riding a cab at nagising na lang ako nasa Retiro ako. Aba, nakatulog na ko, so nakauwi naman ako.. Go straight to my lovely bed then fell asleep!

Before I sleep, naisip ko pa na grabe eto na yun pinakamatinding inom ko na di ako nagkalat! Well, I was wrong..

Around sometime in the morning, I woke up and starting to vomit a lot.. At ayun, tulog ulit. Then some moments later, ayun na ulit!!! Crap! Pagkatapos magkalat, ayun.. Inom ako ng tubig.. Oh God, after some sleeping time, ayun na.. Kahit yun sinuka ko na. I said to myself, pag may suka pa ulit, punta na ko St. Luke's..

Well, after ng tatlong beses na pagpunta sa toilet, di ko na kinaya, I ran and called a cab. ER sa St. Luke's sabi ko sa driver.. I was not able to call sila Kuya o Mom kasi baka maistorbo ko pa sila sa pagtulog. Anyway, yeah.. 

I went there sa St. Luke's very dizzy at parang nanghihina na ko.. Sabi ko na sa Nurse I need help.. Then ayun, after some check up and questions, punta na ko sa ER. Then, yeah.. Staring at that ceiling once more. Praying that I hope this will end. I also made promises to really well tama na siguro 'to. I enjoyed already a lot through drinking, so hinay na talaga.. But while that was happening, eh eto na, doctors coming in, nurse doing the best care possible and ako naman, ayun nagkalat! Nasuka ko pa yun nainom ko atang tequila. Kulay Jose eh. hehe

Then another bad news came, Maxicare won't cover the expenses due to alcohol causes. Company doesn't allow that. Sabi ko lang sa agent, ok and ok. Deep inside, I'm in deep sh*t!

Oh well, wala na ko pera, magkano kaya to? As much I want to follow the doctor's advice na calm down and sorts of things, eh mukhang di ko magawa! 

Then ayun may tinurok sa kin, I was breathing oxygen all the time and yeah.. I'm kinda relaxed. I also thought na this is the price to pay for my binge.. Geez, I'll never going to go back in this place again due to drinking spree.

Mom was very worried, even Dad and siblings and I told them what's going to happen and pay.. Damn.. I can't imagine  how stupid I am. I thought of a lot of things...

Then, around 9am, si Mommy eh nandun na din, giving me something pero di ko pa pwede kainin o uminom... All the result sa blood ko, sabi ng doc ko eh ok naman, nothing to worry. The doctor also told me to avoid some foods and yes, even drinking for a while and reseta tapos go home. 

Billing was the scary part, kasi baka umabot to ng 20k!! St. Luke's eh.. Pero thank God.

Nagulat ako sa bill, aba it's 5k plus lang, sabi ko may budget pa ko, kaya pa to. 

I am blessed afterwards that Maxicare covered the bill. Wow, I stand up, hold Mom and went home. Although hina pa din ako paguwi kasi wala akong tulog at siyempre suka ng suka aba nakapahinga na din ako. 

Hay, thank God for that and yeah, I enjoyed getting the rest, no more going to that work na napakalayo and mahirap due to the opening hour. I'm very grateful that I'm still here.. 

Making amends and doing the right things. 

About drinking, yeah, until now wala pa naman inuman at kahit niyaya ako ng CRAP ng Vodka at nakita ko na naman si Jose eh I declined even kasama si Doc. 

Kahit nakakuha ako tips na dapat talaga hard muna bago beer at pag ganun ulit nangyari which wag na sana, drink Vitwater pala than Gatorade. hehe

Pero the best way na para di na umabot sa ganun, talagang 2 bottles na lang. At kung hard, kaunti lang. Talagang iiwas na ko, and besides may susundin na ko healthy regimen these coming months. 

I want to thank God, and yes my family for the love and understanding. Naks! 

For now, I'm happy na unti unti eh medyo layo na sa inom, taking care of my self and enjoy life in the right way. 

I still can't believe na may mas matindi pa sa Bellevue Scandal! 

This event eh eto na pinakamalala at eto na yun pinakahuli! =)

Beware eating at, Mcdo!!!!!

I don't really eat in this place. I only eat one kung sobrang gutom na ko.. Two! If somebody wants to really eat there, that can be negotiated.. Lastly, because of Super Size Me. hehe 

Pero di lang naman yun ang mga rason kung bakit di ako kumakain sa Mcdo.. Eh there are factors why I don't really eat in this place. 

The value for their menu is not sulit talaga. I mean, ang pinaka sulit sa lahat na serve nila eh una sa lahat yun Hot caramel/hot choco sundae duo. hehe Hmmmm Pwede na din yun mcdo chicken nila kaso di talaga nakakabusog. Or how about burger mcdo meal pero katapat lang kasi nun Angel's burger na dalawang order pa! hehe Lahat dun eh di na masaya, namely McChicken sandwich meal and yes, their expensive utterly, pathetic big mac meal or yun isa na gusto ni Ate na quarter pounder meal. Well, sa kaunti kasi ng order eh parang di ka mabubusog. Their 50 pesos na mcsavers ba yun, ilang minuto lang tapos na. And yes, their meals are very not on budget. If Wendy's are over the top sa mahal ng meals nila, eh Mcdo is catching up. Lalo na yun McChicken na sobrang liit, at yeah, masarap siya but I can get the same goodness sa KFC! Order ka lang nung Chicken Fillet meal nila 80 pesos plus well 20 pesos for larger size and yun na katapat ni McChicken. McChicken at is around 140 ata. Geez, no way!

Tapos yun double cheeseburger nila, I like it but nah.. Parang kulang pa din. Their fries are good, no doubt, pero yun lang kaunti din. They don't serve Sarsi unlike other fastfood restos.. 

Noong kumain kami ni Algerro sa Mcdo, parang siya lang yun masaya, gutom kasi. hehe Pero ako, natuwa lang ako sa dessert. Yun inorder kung burger mcdo meal, nalungkot ako. hehe They became from bad to worse when it comes to pricing. 

Suprisingly, when it comes to service, they're pretty nice at nagagawa naman nila ng tama. Other than Jollibee na mabagal at minsan nakakalimutan ang follow up. Sa Mcdo, mabilis at kahit maraming tao, they work systematically. Delivery din, ok sila, they seem na mabilis, no frills or hassles. Branches? Well, they have more accessible branches than other fastfood chains. Except lang siguro dito sa malapit sa house. hehe 

Sadly, they need to really change their pricing strategy, especially sa meals nila. Masarap pa naman yun burgers nila but it's that well, they need to level their price sa iba. Sa Jollibee, eh ok na ko sa 100 kasi you can order spaghetti meal at yun 49ers or 39ers, busog na ko. Sa Mcdo, 100 bucks is not enough. I know it will be difficult for them, pero they need to really fix that. 

They can also make amends sa menu nila. They can make other dishes perhaps, other than mcspaghetti or mcChicken meal. Or that pathetic chicken fillet meal na parang ginto for 50 pesos! 

Siguro make other dishes since nagawa na nila yun mcspaghetti, why try other meals? Hmmmm Basta look na lang sila sa mga kalaban nila. 

I know they are not really making any efforts to retain na number 1 sila sa market. They rest their laurels of just serving the same menu and yeah, doing clever ads and banking at happy meals but dapat maging conscious sila in the future. Baka matalo pa sila ng ibang establishments, lalo na yun resto type of fastfood. Dati, yun Mcdo dito sa D.Tuazon eh puno lagi, ngayon.. Dahil sa Mang Inasal, Chic-boy at yun ibang dining resto pa malapit sa D.Tuazon, aba madali lang bumili sa Mcdo. Di na masyado mahaba ang pila. hehe

Kaya for now, they need to make a drastic change for their pricing/menu. Mabuti yun lang problema nila, unlike yun iba na ayoko, ang daming problema. hehe 

Pagnagawa nila ng tama, aba baka ipromote ko pa sila.. But never ever part of my food choices or simply..

Not loyal to them. Sorry. hehe 

I'll enjoy their sundae perhaps. That's not going to change...
