Definitely, the best of what this band done... Alam ko marami, pero eto, grabe, kumpleto eh! 18 minutes of full laugh and fun. =) From OPM hits tapos, yun mga love classics, at siyempre my favorite part, yun dalawang poems!!! Sa sobrang fave ko dun sa dalawang poems, eh may tig isang post sila sa FB. hehe

I can't believe na 18 mins plus yun, sa sobrang daming kanta na iniba nila.. Grabe yun trip nila ng panahon na yun.. Way above, and way ahead of time.. Definitely, recommended.. Kahit yun in the navy na banat nila, ayos na eh.

Tapos yun part na kala mo original yun kakantahin nila pero biglang banat ng iba.. Grabe. hehe Like yun Anak at evergreen..

I can't imagine pano nila naisip yun, at actually, di na nila revive yun kantang to kahit yun 4.. They did some dati sa EB pero kaunti lang.. Pano kasi mas sikat talaga yun VST..

Pero for me, mas trip ko yun TVJ, tough hits!!! =)

Masaya, kwela at kakatuwa, sometimes when I listen to them, parang wala yun problema mo at pang chaser kung baga. Pawalang tama sa buhay..

Wala na silang kaparis, kahit the other bands today who are trying to like them or funny like them.. Sorry, failed attempt.

But good for them, at least they tried..

Importante, the trio defined laughter and music comes really together.. Better. =)

Alam ko na sila ay mahilig kina Elvis at malamang sa Beatles.. Kasi marami silang iniba na kanta, like Beatles Dept. for example, kahit isang kanta yun pero in that song, maraming short songs all about Beatles. Kaya nga Beatles Dept di ba.. hehe

Me? Nah, you will be surprised that I am not their fan simply because, well, it's not in my era when I listened to music. I can appreciate siguro pero not in my playlist but indeed, they are pioneers of music whether kung pop, rock or simply, bands are bands today dahil naman sa kanila di ba? =)

Then ayun, kala ko yun Beatles dept ang the best na ginawa nila for well, Beatles.. Hindi pala. hehe

Actually, I don't know the Sgt. Pepper's lonely hearts club band album or even listen to it, pero alam ko may mga hits sila from that album and.. Mukhang may mga kinuha talaga sila dito, galing talaga ng mga mokong. hehe

Ang gusto ko track ginawa nila is yun When I'm Sixty - Four saka yun long and winding road, panalo eh!!! Kahit maiksi, it was fun and quite naughty. hehe Grabe tapos yun ibang kanta nila, di ko inakala, na kinuha sa beatles kasi bagay talaga yun pag lagay nun lyrics dun sa original melody.. Kaya this one tops the other 3 kasi feeling ko, medyo nageffort sila dito ha.. Di madali ibahin yun kanta tapos kalabasan, ayos din.. Kahit di naman orig, pinoy naman ang dating! =)

Boltes V

Siyempre we all know Voltes V is one of the fave anime favorites. Tanong mo pa si Kuya Allan, which well, wayback Marcos days, it was a childhood staple, an awaited fantasy form for kids.. A way that kids at that time imagined how to be a hero driving a big bad mecha/robot!!!

Ako naman, yes, one of the fave din, but not my really fave.. Mas gusto ko yun isang fave anime but I'll reveal that later.. hehe

Sikat naman yun anime due to yun robot of course, the famous and dramatic 3 brothers, the cowboy and simple Jane tapos yun dub din, kakatuwa from english and ayun tagalog.. Tapos ang nagpasikat pa eh yun opening song!!!

Akalain mo, when it was released, yes it was orig japanese then dubbed english then I don't know kung may tagalog pa nun. hehe Ang alam ko kinanta nila Brod Pete sa bubble gang. haha

Until now, I did not understand the song, which is why I want to learn nihonggo in the sense of knowing japan better.. Without the help of subs of course..

One day, while I am listening to TVJ albums, akalain mo, pati eto pinatos nila!! hehe

Yun rhythm, kopya nila tapos kahit yun mood nun kanta, kala mo pang intro talaga ng Voltes V. hehe Kaso sa lyrics na nagkaiba at yes, panalo ang lyrics.. Loko loko din sila, lahat ng space characters di naman lahat basta nasabi nila sa kanta.. Basta masabi lang sa kanta.. Grabe. Great piece of listening wonder.. A fun song. hehe Kahit si Ultraman nasama, grabe na eh..

May pagka double meaning din, di naman yun buong kanta, basta may part dun, grabe.. hehe

Pero anyway, I love this song and indeed better than yun unang dalawa nasabi ko kasi malamang yun ginawa nila ang kanta, hype pa din ng Voltes V!!! =)

Rey Valera, one of the OPM's legendary balad dudes.. Even me, one of my fave ko yan, kinakanta ko yun mga songs niya sa karaoke ha!! hehe

All of his songs are simply pinoy romantic classic.. Malayo pa ang umaga, Maging sino ka man na laging kinakanta sa Music HS exams. hehe O even Ako Si Superman na favorite ko.. Pero isa pang song ang fave ko din, which the title itself, correct me if I'm wrong kung yun nga ang title. hehe

Tapos napakinggan ko yun take ng TVJ nila dito, grabe.. Funny as hell!! hehe

It talks about marriage tapos ayun pag tagal, nawawala na ang love.. In a funny way.. Halatang may ayaw sa biyenan si Joey.. Ayon dito sa kanta. hehe

Kahit yun background ng kanta and yun sounds, kuhang kuha eh, iba lang yun lyrics.. hehe I remember, parang nagvicor si Rey Valera so malamang walang problem yun TVJ to get the rights of the song. hehe

Iskul Bukol

Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, even Erasherheads have well some songs they revived tapos ayun, medyo iniba.. Lalo na yun Parokya na marami silang novelty rock songs or nakakatawang kanta, like Ordertaker, or Buloy.. Kamikazee, marami halos din, kahit revival ok sila, or originals like tsinelas..

But for this band, for me, one of the my favorite.. You know VST and Co. were a great band, lalo na siyempre, from disco hits to love song hits, pero siyempre mas kilala silang dominating in disco or OPM hits..

Little know by many, or even me, they have a second band na sila din.. TVJ is the name at for me, yun mas ok!!! Siyempre kasi nakakatawa talaga at mga banat eh talagang panalo, some of there jokes, are timeless.. Grabe.. =)

Sila ata nagpioneer na ibahin yun mga kanta, lalo na yun ibang OPM hits.. Grabe kahit international hits from Elvis, Beatles at iba pa, kahit oldies, di nila pinalampas!!! Narealize ko na mas masaya silang pakinggan, kaysa sa VST, di naman sa mas magaling pero iba eh..

Mas masaya at grabe.. Timeless talaga, kaya namana siguro ng Parokya or Kamikazee yun style nila sa kanila.. They heard all their 6 volumes of wackyness and fun ng mga kanta ng grupong to.. Grabe, legendary.. Lupit.. From Tito's simplistic voice na pang oldies, at Vic na bossing na kahit dati na at siyempre soothing voice, and Joey na bagay na pangcomedy songs at feeling ko siya halos nag iba ng lyrics pero kasama din yun dalawa..

All of them, for me, one of the best pinoy bands ever!! =)

At ang unang nila ginoyo, english songs pero wag ka, yun mga VST songs din nila, di nakalampas.. hehe

Ah, wag na magtaka kung walang lyrics lahat kasi tinatamad na ko maghanap at please, download niyo na lang sila ha.. =) thanks!

I first heard this song siyempre, from their legendary show sa IBC, tungkol sa Escalera brothers and Victorio Ungasis adventures sa pagaaral sa Wanbol University.. Grabe, in the tune of Jailhouse Rock kung tama ko or mali, basta.. Pagnapangkinggan ang kanta, alam na Iskul Bukol na! hehe

It is Iskul Bukol, sa lyrics pa lang, talagang point out na mga kalokohan sa iskul, absent, gimikan, kalokohan.. Di lang sure ang pagpasa! hehe

Tapos yun epilogue na banat, grabe, ang gusto ko part dun..

Deflections

As of today, it is a simple day.. Day of reflecting, do simple things, some chores and checking some things.. Planning as well.

Well, shop operations today got smooth but not with the sales. =( But that's fine, it's better than low, than nothing.

As I reflected today, of course, I thought of things happened in the past and affected me..

I was hurt, some of them got hurt.. Maybe because of my laziness or shortcomings sometimes. But I will try to change that. Especially at these times, which as I said before, this is my turning point of my life. Besides, I want to straight this one out.. =)

Great I was get some good rest for the past few days and for this next few days, well, I'll be quite busy..

Definitely for the next 2 weeks.. It will be a hectic week! Pay this and that, deadlines to here and there.. And yes, to survive.. For my work and shop.. Geez, I wish I have a replicant. =)

Well, after that, it's all over and not meaning all the problems or struggles are over, I mean the short term problems. hehe

But for the past holy days, thanks to it, I felt energized, inspired and motivated to finish what I started.

To pursue my unfinished actions or plans.

To let go of the painful past and keep those happy memories and move forward..

To forgive..

To reinvent and push myself to whatever I can do to solve these problems..

To keep praying and surviving..

To live this life.. Fully..

To love, maybe.. Again..

To search myself? Geez, that's tiring already. hehe Nah, I don't think I need that in my life.. I just maybe ignored myself sometimes.

I realized that somewhere and it hits me just hard..

Reflections

Even today, they asked for some load.. Geez.. It never stops at least for a day.. =)

Anyway, I was able to sleep good today, get some rest and got some murmuring aside, I mean talking to myself. I do that everyday but for this time, I was really into just all alone and contemplating and reflect.. My life per se.

And of course, the importance of today which is Good Friday. I wondered, why they called it Good Friday.. Even today is the death of Jesus, which I feel, not really good.

However, what good is I believed that He died not only for our religion but the truth is, he died for all of us.. He did not select whom will be saved when he died but he did save us all. Despite we, are all sinners or radical or stubborn, he made one choice and he did this because he loves us all..

In return, of course, we need not to do the same. We need to do the same love he gave to us, to serve, proclaim Good news and yes, indeed love..

It is not easy to do it, especially we have a wide variety of liberty.. But well, in this life, you will find a purpose. You'll ask yourself, why you're here in this damned life or many questions that entails to your dear life.

Even the sufferings or problems you face or you might also ask where is God for all of this?

In my 27 years here, hmmmmm 7 out of those 27 years, I think I was able to find answers to those kind of arguements.. The experiences I went through, the truths that unfold in my lap and the vision I want to be, well, it is far fetched.

However, because of him, I am still standing here.. I am always tired and somewhat displaced in every day grind but yes, due to my faith, hope and love to him, my life goes on..

That goes as well from my loving family, friends and people around that inspire me that in this short life, we should do not only for ourselves, but also to others. Sacrifice is a better word for it.. Yes, as he did it today, we should do it as well.

Not really our life but some parts of our lives.. Time, effort, smiles, frowns or even money or things.. Well, we cannot serve without those factors. But it is, it is important to have those things to show, that you are indeed living with a purpose.. A purpose which you will need to know, with your heart and soul.

I already know mine and I think it will never end unless the end comes to me.. =)

But as I look in my life, I already done half of it, the other half which I think is about my happiness and my goals already, not only my goals for others as well.. I hope I can reach them, and in due time, be happy. =)

Of course, I won't be going into full service to him..

I chose to be a family man instead.. Which until now, and I'm quite pessimist about it. hehe

Well, to achieve that, I guess I should find again a better half.. The problem is, who is she?

The best way to know who will be, is well, let love come to me.. I tried the finding game plan, which it did not work..

I'll just do the one which works.. Yes, even before..

Let it come to me.. The better half..

I asked to him before, and yes, I haven't got the answer until now..

What happened before, did he really give it to me?

I'm just quite curious..

But anyhow, today is simply, I just knelt down and look up to him.. I felt sad and yet, thanking for his sacrifice..

Sacrifice that makes you wonder... He really loves us...
