Almost gone: Home video players

I have a point of thinking pawala na din ang home video players.

Not the food. Started of with Somewhere in Time. hehe

VHS came at naalala ko may SVHS pa.. Dun lalo nag spur or tumaas ang movie fanaticism. Anime, action flicks, and some naughty stuff eh nandun na. At dun na din ako nagsimula magrent. hehe Quality, watchable at those times. hahaha

VCD or SVCD came just to make VHS small and compact yun nga lang, 2 CDs per film. haha Although mas maganda yun quality at nauso na ang piracy that time, mas masaya manood.

Then DVD came, the epitome of real home entertainment. Way better quality, almost near HD.. Affordable and most of all, great quality.

Blu ray has the best quality at siyempre cinema experience with 3D effects and stuff. Mahal lang, you need a good LED TV, a blu ray player na sana mabasa lahat ng file, and 5.1 stereo surround. Sounds costly but wow naman ang panonood.

Recently, pinagusto ko eh projector, remove the blu ray player and get a projector instead then surround. Thanks to Kuya Dong, kinda thought that's my dream set up in the future. Far far time. hahaha Thanks to advent of media players, ewan ko pa kahit anong klaseng media/video file yan, basahin niya.

So going to the future, from now eh ang sure na magsurvive is DVD, blu ray and media players. With advent of mobile phones and tablets, parang hanggang dun na lang ang evolution of watching anything. Of course may pc's pala. hehe Which I prefer sa PC din lalo pag wala ka naman budget for tablets nor home theater. Expensive film ticket pa. Geez.

Definitely here to stay sila despite threat ng TV going into internet TV,parang kaunti pa lang magagawa ng net TV. These gadgets still rule for a long time. Ang mawawala lang feeling ko eh DVD. Lalo pag mura na yun blu ray player and home theater stuff, bye bye to DVD. hehe

Such a waste.

Well at least, you see history on it. hehe
