Alvin, one of my friends in college and of course classmate sa 4BA1 went back here for a short time galing US at di mawawala kung di namin siya imeet.
Place was set sa Pino, which incidentally kabatch mate namin yun one of the owners, a great place to dine, or date. hahaha Or inom na din for those beer lovers.
Many were invited but due to that tight time and day, it was Tuesday ata at night, so malamang marami ang di nakapunta. We started around 8pm as soon siyempre Alvin arrived. Well, di naman suprise na kami nila Ivan, Raims and William were there and Joanne of course, but suprisingly, dumating yun dalawang abogado, Leonid at JP, at after long years, Lorraine was there. hehe At Fofo surprised us, and what was funny, it's like the usual 4BA1 talk. Although sa umpisa siyempre, hours of chismax.
Siyempre, kung ano nasa Pino, dun na lang yun. hahahahaha. Kakatawa yun mga secrets and closures revealed. Ehem. hehe Many changed, such as careers of course, status have moved up and things as well. Apperance, hmmmm parang hindi. hehe Hair style I guess pero siguro ako at si Lorraine lang nagchange ng hairstyle.
What never changed is the atmosphere kami lang eh parang pagpasok mo sa umaga ng 4BA1, kampante, usap usap, tawanan at laglagan din. hehe Kaso sa mga abogado daw, di na pwede kampante, after work na lang. hahaha
While conversing siyempre in different aspects or stuff, etong Pino eh ayos sa food. Wow, kung mag bagnet sila talagang bagnet, try that Kare Kare bagnet, and you'll be full and highblood as well. hehe Memorable yun mga salad nila, at may menu sila for pinoy vegan so galing, and the ambiance is kinda tight, bagay sa night dining. Service is great, I mean waiters serves great and even gives you suggestion in a pinoy way.
Sometime, hmmm parang puntahan ko yun branch nila na mas malapit. I want to try that salad I ate, kinda forgot the name. hahaha Sarap kasi.
Their specialty? Oh, yun flavored beer nila. Which yes, I still did not try it. Ganun na ko lumayo sa beer. Geez. Sober or staying out of it, nagawa ko. Pero sabi nun mga tumikim, sulit, so I don't know when I can taste one. hahaha
Like I said above, fine dining or date, sobrang pwede dito. Price is kinda reasonable, value for money naman. Mahal nga pero sulit.
Enough of the review. But anyway, actually eto lang naman, but we did miss Alvin and we hope he'll come back, longer sana.
I hope, well kung may magyaya ulit from 4BA1 galing overseas or such, marami naman pumunta. Kakatawa nga kasi sa Precom eh record na sa reunion pero kaunti lang naman close ko dun. 4BA1, I have many close friends or almost I know them pero they just don't show up. It's sad but ganun talaga.
Please, di po ko hanapan na mga nawawala. O ano balita sa kanila ha. hahaha
Honestly, I got grilled for some moments that night.
It's fine. Past is damn really past. It's done. =)
Of course, this time, I won't miss the RAM reunion kahit well kahit kaunti pumunta. hehe Nung sinabi sa kin sa December 15 ang meeting namin, aba totally block ang mga gagawin ko for that day. That's how special this team is.. I expected na pupunta halos lahat but due to some commitments ng other members, even si TL eh randomly, kami na lang natira.
Deng with a new hairstyle and same pa din. Marj has a long hair and simple yet looking good as well.. Alecks ehem may dalang S3 na una ko na notice. hehe But still the same, malakas mang kabog. hehe Yet is still beautiful Irish. =) At siyempre, pareng Ted na talagang magaudiophile na talaga. Ibang level na!!! Well, sa sobrang ibang level eh naisip ko di ko na kaya ang level niya. Hanggang S4A na lang or rugged na lang ako pre... hahaha Humabol pa si Mami Mainah with family pa. hehe
Surprisingly, we did not talk about much what happened sa RAM siguro naman kasi tapos na and since half lang pumunta, iba na lang ang pinagusapan. Totoong RAM to kasi, ang mga info na nakalap ko eh kakagulat!!! hehe Mukhang tama lang pala ang pagalis ng iba, kasama na ko dun. =) At eto naman kami, we went sa Krazy Garlik and ordered some 2 bundles and cripy pata, eto naman sila Alecks and Deng, alam na kung sino ang target. hehe Sila Yet and Marj of course, girls talk and chismax. Kami naman ni Ted aba, talagang matagal na kami nagkita, kwentuhan na at siyempre, budget budget din sa pagorder. hehe
Order arrived at napakadami, kala namin hanggang 12am kami matatapos.. Nagsisihan pa! hahaha Pero ganun talaga, we missed each other, and as usual, kain na! Actually, I enjoyed the dishes although mahal kasi naman pala, part sila ng food group ng mga hate kong resto. TGIF and Italianni's. Great thing they have one resto like this, great menu, taste and accomadating staff even it's a hectic time, ang daming customer. Mabuti pala nakarating kami ng maaga.
Anyway, as Ted ranting about the past xmas party and some movie flicks that we watched, siyempre kinamusta namin ang isa't isa, lalo na sa work life. Nakafocus lahat kay Marj at Alecks kasi with their new work. Very interesting at magandang propect. Kaya Marj, dapat don't forget us. hahaha At siyempre di maiwasan ko itanong ang nagFS. Sino mga TL, team mate at ano ano nangyayari sa buhay nila sa FS.
All I can say is, I am surprised na they are still there. Geez, with some surprising moves and new difficult challenges, I won't be surprised, one day, everybody will be running for their escape route. Unbelievable... Simply aghast. I don't know that word. hehe Pero I'm happy for those na napromote at yun mga nagmatapang nag FS once. hehe
Mabuti pala dumating si Mami Mainah at naubos namin na napakadaming order, pero kahit di siya dumating, aba sulit din even with a high price tag. Kahit mahal ang beer, pwede na one bottle lang. Remember, alam niyo naman nangyari, bawal ang makarami. hehe
I can't believe we finished around like 10pm tapos, uwi na kami. Kanyang kanya uwi of course but we vowed we'll meet again lalo na may isa dun na wala sa inuman. Ehem... We'll invade his house sometime. =) At sana next time, hmmmm yeah nandun yun iba at lalo naman si TL.
Indeed those times, we're very active and had a fun time, even in a very short time.
For now, I'll just wait for Ted's reminder..
