Aba, siyempre, ang lalong naglulok sa kin sa paginom dati eh ang mismong CRAP! hehe Well, kakahiya nga lalo na sa bahay nila Chef, dati, panay pagtawag ko ng uwak ang ginawa ko. hehe

Anyway, ang pinakamalakas uminom sa min.. Siyempre, yun Chef! =) Dati, eh di lang masarap magluto si Igz, kundi aba magaling at masarap magpainom si Igz. Siya nagintroduce ng pinakatrip kong gin, Tanqueray tapos may halo pa siyang ginagawa.. Actually, ang usual halo lang naman eh sprite at Tanqueray.. Grabeng gin, yun ata ang gin na pabango. hehe

At, siya din nagintroduce ng German beer na matagal ko na namiss!! hehe Galing germany talaga at grabe pag may uwi si Achi at sakto may German beer, ayun lagok agad namin apat! hehe May time din na grabe, usual na inom eh san mig light tapos may chivas regal on the side.. Wasak ako nun after ng isang shot ng Chivas. hehe Damn I miss those college booze nights.. Parang 7 days a week may inom, lalo na nung precom pa ko.. Naalala ko pa ata, one time, galing ako kay Igz tapos next day ROTC, mabuti na lang silent drill ako, so pag punta lasing tapos magcounterstrike.. hehe

Next eh si Sir Rheg.. Ehem.. Yes.. One of the factors kaya naman siya naging ganyan at inamin naman ni Sir.. Eh grabe naman kasi, DLSU days pa lang, halos kasabay namin.. Party there, party dun.. Tapos paguwi niya, at may nagyaya na kamag anak niya, aba, shot shot lang din.. Napatunayan na talagang mas malakas siya sa min dati lalo na sa beer. Talagang siya tagaubos eh. hehe Lalo na yun isang birthday party niya, which dun ko nakita si number 8.. Aba San Mig Light, may Red horse tapos may lason pa na J&B. hehe Kaya yun, pagkatapos nung, interview ko ng umaga.. Bagsak! Wasak kasi from last night! hehe

Si Doc, eh tahimik din paguminom pero grabe, malakas din, lalo na sa hard.. Kaya eh.. Pano ba naman, eh kung kami sa commerce masaya na pag may hard drinks kasi lagi short sa budget.. Ok na pag gin or beer.. Sa college ni Doc, aba mahina ata johnny walker. hehe Pang mayaman talaga! Kaya yun, mahina sa beer pero sa hard.. Hard si Doc, sila na lang ni Igz ang maginuman. hehe

Ako naman, sabi nila malakas pero ang totoo.. Everytime na uminom ako, lagi ko lang iniisip eh malunok ko to ok na! hehe I don't care magkalat, which in the end nahiya na din ako. Saka siyempre, ako naman si oo kaya yun.. Shot dito, inom doon at kwentuhan lang. Habol ko naman sa inuman dalawang bagay lang, kulitan at inuman mismo. hehe Pagtahimik na ko, yun na, simula na ng amats ko.. Medyo inom inom ng tubig at todo kain sa pulutan para mawala yun pait ng inom.. Kaya yun, uwak talaga minsan or worse, gising na ko nagkalat na.. hehe Ah may isa pa pala kaming kasama, si Mark.. Eh yun talaga nakakahiya, bagong palit ng carpet, grabe ako agad nagkalat!

Pano naman kasi, pesteng ponkana gin yan. hehe Kwatro kantos pa!

Anyway, now.. Yeah occassionally na lang kami uminom. Actually, di na halos.. Igz bawal na due to health.. Same goes with Sir Rheg na lalong kailangan niya. Si Doc, umiiwas na din although well umiinom na din. Me? Last Friday lang pero isang Super Dry at isang shot ng walker na binabad sa ginseng. hehe Pero yun eh bago nun, aba parang 2 months pa ko ang huling inom.

Sa CRAP of course, namiss din ang inom days.. Wag lang yun Tanduay Rhum. hehe Alam niyo na kung bakit.

Eh sa CRAP naman, magkasama lang kami ok na at magpakalasing dahil sa..

At ang pagiging may amats lagi ay di natapos. Natuloy dahil di lang sa min nila 2pel, kundi, sa 2cpm!

Kung mga kaklase mo naman, eh una kagaya ni Jimar. Grabe, kahit di malakas sa beer, eh sa gin bulag naman malakas.. Kahit ako, di ko kakayanin yun eh. hehe Talagang tomahan ito. Si Marlon din na basta di lang bilyar at counter sumasama.. Mas lalo sumasama dati sa inuman! hehe JR pa na kahit mahina sa inuman, aba parang tumatagal at malakas din ang patawa at trip. hehe

Eh sila Juan at Ansam din, although di naman sila malakas, eh nakikisama din.. Wag kalimutan, aba.. Ang 4 pinakamalakas uminom sa 2CPM dati! Una na si Orn, na kahit kagaya ko eh palaging nagkakalat. hehe Di naman umaantras sa inuman, at magaling magtimpla, lalo na sa Gin.. Grabe, swabe naman maghalo except, ehem.. Sa pure powder guyabano at gin.. Grabe, tama na ang isang shot! =)

Si pareng Arman, tahimik pero pag humirit sa inuman.. Aba hanggang pag graduate, lakas uminom.. Sanay na eh.. Parang yun galing niya sa basketball, anak ng tokwa.. Swabe eh, kondisyon lagi.. Lalong lumakas nung 3-4th year, aba, halos araw araw nakikita ko umiinom kasama ng mga barkada niya sa BA2... Pero nung 2cpm, may talent na.

Pareng Dennis, grabe, kahit di masyado nagsasalita, aba grabe naman uminom.. Naalala ko pa dati, nung malapit pa sa UST nakatira, panay yaya din ng inom.. Lalo na sa bahay nila dati dito sa Mayon, grabe Pale Pilesen lagi at papaitan lang!!! Nganga!!! hehe Hay.. Talagang ako nagkalat pa nga sa kanila.. Iba din to, matagal na inuman talaga ang labanan!

At siyempre, ika nga nila.. Kahit si Dennis eh napabilib.. Noni, ang pinakamalakas uminom sa 2CPM.. Kaw na pre!!!! hehe

Kahit san inuman, mapa sa Marikina, kina JP, Dennis o kahit Batangas.. Lalo na nung birthday ko dati.. Aba, walang atrasan, walang katapusan na inuman.. Grabe, lahat nagsuka at may amats na nung birthday ko, siya, gusto pa uminom! hehe Isang institusyon to si Noni.. =) Kaya idol ng 2cpm.. Eh sa Batangas lang, siya lang tumagal nung Gin at Guyabano portion na eh.. hehe

Of course, di naman nagpahuli yun ibang kaklase namin, especially the girls.. Sa Batangas at yun huling inom kina JP, ayun, umiinom pala sila.. hehe Anyway, dahil naman dito eh naenhance ang inom ko dati.

Ngayon eh mga bagong buhay na ata. Lalo na si Noni, naging faithful ha.. Orn got married recently. Dennis ayun happily married, pero umiinom pa din, kaso 2 bottles lang. Kahit sila Ansam or iba.. Ayun, di na hayok kagaya dati na..

Alamat ng Amats!

unang alamat: 2pel's group!

Kagaya na nasabi ko na dati, una talaga ko nakainuman eh sina 2pel, Mags, at JP Torre.. Grabe, ang unang inom ko eh Colt 45.. Pero siyempre di lang naman natapos sa ganun yun.. Maraming times sumunod, at ayun kahit Almar eh nakainom pa kami. Dun ko nalaman yun Almar kasi dun nakatira si Mags.. Grabe ang layo! hehe Pero sulit naman dahil may kotse.. Tapos eto naman kina 2pel, although di naman sa kanila.. Marami siyang tinuro sa min! hehe San pwede inuman.. At ano yun pwedeng inumin..

At siyempre ang pinakacommon na inuman ay kina JP. Pano ba naman malapit sa UST at ilan beses na ata nakitulog sa kanila dahil sa Inom. hehe Grabe, sa sobrang lapit ng bahay nila, talagang ang unang option namin ng inom eh sa kanila agad kasi malapit. 5 mins nandun kana, ewan ko to kay JP, nalalate lagi. hehe

We drunk almost anything, except yun mga mamahalin kasi naman wala naman kaming pera masyado.. Mostly San Mig at kung kinakailangan, Gin at juice, pomelo at pineapple.. Kahit mahirap haluin sige lang!!! Patayan na to! hehe Nagagawa namin yun inuman after magcounter at siyempre after class.. If you have a class sked na 3-7pm at ala naman kakwenta yun mga subject, aba ano pa hinihintay! Inuman na kami!!! Kahit sa binyag nung anak ni Mags, akalain mo inom pa din, sangkatutak na San Mig light. hehe

After those years, lalo na 3rd pa lang, eh nagkahiwalay na kami but around last year ata.. Or 2 years, kaming 3 na lang ni JP, at 2pel, nasama pa pala si Jimar. hehe Pero light na lang yun inom saka yun.. Kamustahan na lang. Si Mags kasi OFW na kaya yun, di na nasasama. Kahit ganun, di pa din nawawala yun kulitan at ang mga kwentong.. 2cpm.. Yun mga crush crush dati.. hehe At laglagan talaga.. Di naman ako lagi wasted dito pero namiss ko lang eh simpleng inuman at pulutan pero masayang kwentuhan naman. Saka yun nga, dito na nagsimula ang aking paginom.. At nagka amats!!!

I don't blame them.. I liked and loved it! hehe Thanks to them.

Prometheus

Ridley Scott well, made films out of his comfort zone, Sci Fi flicks for some time. Started with Gladiator then until lately, a bomb flick.. I did not even watch it, Robin Hood. Great thing, all of the sudden, years of speculation and spoilers.. He created a sci fi flick that I can say, enjoyed it. Not great but I felt enjoyed. Worth watching.. I can't believe it run around 2 and a half hours.. =)

Simple story, a group of explorers discovered that human origin might came outer space, and we were made by aliens out there. They followed the constellation and paths, so they reached an planet like earth. However, what they discovered might be our end.

First of all, I was not really eager to watch it because when I'm reading the trend online about it's progress or sorts.. It's just I'm not drawn to it's story.. I was kinda felt like we do have other stories like that. Second, I heard that it will be like an alien prequel, and the only Alien film I loved was Aliens so, hell I don't care about that story. But if it's Ridley Scott, I should give it a chance.

I love about the film was really visual intoxicating experience. The CGI and effects were neatly done, one of the best of this year! I love the sequence where they were doing the exploration. The ship as well contructed. Then the visuals of the room, the projections and even the enemy ship or tomb. How about the shoots for the alien planet which it was just shot in Iceland. Greatly and nicely done.

I don't like this film, well.. Some parts of it like, they can do better dialogue. It has good dialogue but it was short. Michael Fassbender's character has the most lines but he has the less screen time than well, the lead actress Noomi Rapace. Others, it's just not well used. How about Guy Pearce's character? Even he has really short time there, it does make sense than Charlize's role. Although her presence was just hot!

The actors in this film, well.. I love the cast for this film. Even with less dialogue, but he made it work. Ridley made a cast which work, like what he did in Alien or Blade Runner. Not that super star studded cast but an effective one. I did not like Noomi Rapace in Sherlock Holmes 2, but this one.. I love her and yes, my man Michael Fassbender!! Perfect role for an android, I thought Lance Henrikssen was good, Michael can replace him now. Especially in the last scenes, that was hard to do, acting only with your head. Ben Foster was good, just unlucky for him.. Idris Elba great role for him, got lucky with Charlize even it was not shown. =) Speaking of Charlize Theron, damn.. Even she come of age, she is still hot and I just hate how she died. I thought she will live.

Another flaw, was the pace of the story. I don't know if they are trying to be a space odyssey but for me, it just did not work. The first scene confused me, and yes, at the end.. I wanted more. But I hope Ridley just ended in one film. I don't know how they will make a sequel out of it, but for me, all they need to answer is who's that alien, look like us.. Very much like us without a female human type. Also the black liquid, come on, one or two minutes of explanation will be enough. Yes, the alien part, indeed it might answer a question where they came from but nah.. I won't buy that. The fact that the exploration was made Weyland himself, it's just well.. They can do better than that.

I love the graphic violence and pace, especially the final scenes.. That was exhilarating ride, and the scene which Noomi Rapace used the med pod, wow.. That was some scary sh*t. =) Better than the famous belly buster in Alien 1. I want to have that kind of pod. The running was effective, the attack scenes of the alien and yes, even the last scene where they face the last alien.. How about the alien himself self.. Look like us with ripped abs but has weird eyes. How about that alien octo crap monster, nicely done. =)

Oh, I shouldn't forget to put a good film, you should have a great director. That's is Ridley Scott, and how he made this watchable and interesting, he set this up in the right pace and detailed show.

Hunger games I hope done what this film made good.. No restraints and fully an experience. But not that great as I experienced from Chronicle, or Avengers.. But it's worth the time, effort and yes, another addition to my collection. However, I still put Blade Runner as his best. I think Ridley should get a great writer, that's all.. That's I'm looking forward on what he will do in the new Blade Runner!

For this one, another sequel is enough but many of this.. Nah.. Please end it.

I think we shouldn't need to find our origins through films.. We have many resources about it.. It's just how you will accept such fact or fiction.

Important is now.. We're here to evolve our interesting race and we should not stop doing it. =)

Getting Older

How?

- Damn, I can't eat much as much I want to. Labo noh. hehe Pero I mean, mabilis na ko mabusog and satisfy sa food in a smaller quantity. Dati gusto ko isang bowl ng kanin kaya ko ubusin! Now, I full sa one and a half or two, busog na ko. Except sa chic-boy siguro. hehe

- Kahit naglilinis naman ako ng ears, eh nabibingi na ko sometimes.. Not all the time, may scenario lang. Damn that's why I want to switch industries.

- My stamina is getting weaker, that's why, kailangan magexcercise na. At tuloy ang vitamins at vaccine whatever. hehe

- Di naman nagbago yun grado, pero my eyes getting weak, kaya I need more glasses. Kahit malapit lang pupuntahan ko, eh mukhang I need extra pair. Unless pag pwede lasik, kaso, do I have funds?

- I need to change most of my clothes, I realized I need to change sizes, pero saka na yun pag fit na. =)

- Dati, talagang pag inuman, patayan na to! Hanggang may tumawak ng uwak. hehe Now, well, 2 bottles is damn enough.

- Wow, getting married and raising a family is a way for most of my friends. Grabe.. Dati gimik gimik lang sa HS and college, now, settling down. hehe

- Time really flies fast, my computer is 6 years old. =)

- For the past couple of years, I can't believe those are the years na nagkaroon ako ng direction or goals to set. Planning is my fave past time but it should more than that. I need to lead my way to something.

- I tend to really save more and tight budget. Contentment muna sa mayroon ako, daanin na lang sa ibang gagawin, at having great friends. At kung makalibre sa iba, salamat!

- Looking back and laughing about the past, whether it's a success or such a failure. Important was I learned something and moving forward.

- I know what are my favorite things to do, important things to do.. What should I do for myself and to others. May limitations pala dapat. Learning to say no sometimes..

- I also thought of keeping the things that I cherish and throw away that were just a clutter in my life.

- I learned to have more faith to Him.. Love and hope will follow.

- I also believed, that change is inevitable, lalo na if its for your own good.

- I know, some of my goals na kala ko lipas na.. Baka kaya ko pa mareach, even I'm getting older.

- As I add some years, I became wiser, calm, more forgiving, patient and most of all.. Simply older.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

The long title it has, the short this blog is. Well, I haven't wrote a review for a bad film for a long time. hehe Anyway, yeah.. I can't believe I spent money for this film. Although the one to blame is me, I just love the character from the comics. I even watched the first film before. But as other comic adaptations go, some of them just ended up this bad.

Story is simple, Johnny Blaze is in eastern europe to help himself get away from a curse then suddenly he was approached help by some monk to help him save a kid. That kid is due to be the next coming of the evil one.. Then the story moves until the child and his mom was saved. He also discovered that the spirit of Ghost Rider came from a angel who was tortured here at earth, a very long time ago.

Hell, after some 1 and a half hour later.. I was damn sad. =( The only good thing I saw in that film, it has better effects than the first one! I liked how Ghost Rider used different vehicles to release his power. It has also great details of Ghost Rider, the look is more dark even in very high sunlight. It also show his other powers than swinging his chains.

That's all for the price of an expensive ticket. Almost like legion. hehe Damn..

A lot of flaws, one is acting.. They have a better cast than the first one, like they have Christopher Lambert.. Wow, I haven't seen him a long time. But yes, acting not a good one, I feel sorry for Nicholas Cage and even that kid who was cursed. Even Idris Elba, and yes, Ciaran Hinds.. Damn.. They joined here for the money and big budget. Geez.. There acting is just they are always in a rush and especially the last parts, wow, the only person who made me watch it more is Ghost Rider came back.

Another one, yes, it has worse plot than the first one. I hope they just go to the Ghost Rider, if there is, a graphic novel of it. Or put Zack Snider, or Frank Miller to direct this but well.. These directors, who has a credit of doing Crank movie, that's it. I mean, Frank Miller's The Spirit movie, although it's not that good as well, but hell I enjoyed it because of the great cast except for the lead. This one, it's just story wise, crap.. And directing wise, they are the ones got walked out with a tons of cash.. No complexity, just straight forward crap.. Well, I'll give this one better rating than battleship. hehe But both of them, it's just worse of this year.

Yeah, I hope.. Like the Punisher, they just make it straight it out, they need to make these characters work. I mean, I know Marvel is more a light theme than dark horse or DC, Vertigo.. Marvel is less gore or graphic. But these charaters, like Ghost Rider, they should make it graphic and yes, violent or if they can't just make it a dark themed movie. Why? Because they simply fit in that style. Punisher got punished already twice, two films just don't work. Although I like Ray Stevenson or Dolph Lundgren for the role but it's not working out. Nicholas Cage is a good fit but well.. If you have a director like that, for two films already.. I think you need to get out of the role..

I know Spidey will be released and I saw some reviews that it's better than Spiderman 3 but that's it. hehe I hope Marvel if they did go dark themed or scary or gory.. Then go all the way. Don't care about the Ratings or well, sales.. If the film is good, many will watch. Look at Blade series, and Blade is not even a famous Marvel Character.. It earned, it worked!

I hope, they will do the same for these characters.

I hope they start with the Ghost Rider!
