Before I sleep, it was a great series again from the Feast. Hehe Anyway, eto palapit na ang mga huling araw sa solitary.. Damn I felt I was in a solitary confinement for some months at ayun delikado na. Malayo pa. Geez sana malapit lapit sila but tapos na to.. I won't be back anyway in that place. Hehe

This month, all of the sudden my plans has changed lalo na kasi sa nature of work ko. Eh, dagdag mo pa ang therapy na it helped me a lot because now I know kung bakit weird ang lakad ko. Hehe

It was not really a bad month pero maayos naman kasi there were things na I can start na. Yun iba delay lang, i'll start next month. Ano pa, basta di naman bad trip this month. Pero thanks pa din sa lahat, especially for him.

Ah yeah sana makuha ko na this week ang kapalit kay Griffith. Ang aga nga kaso yun talaga, nakakita ako at feeling ko panalo tong bagong itouch. Other than well the most overhyped phone, iphone 5. Hehe

I'll enjoy for a short rest at sana makatsamba na malapit na work. Di ko muna aaplyan yun mga trip ko talaga, ang layo naman lasi. Hehe Umay na ko sa Makati end to end. Baka makatsamba ako ng malapit at ayos din. Oh God, just give me this work. =)

This month was kinda not too bad or too good. I hope great things will happen naman kahit last quarter na ng year. I still believe it. He will make it happen. Naks.. =)

Let's hope that UST ay sa finals na!! Go USTe!!!

End of 3rd Quarter

In the basketball game well dapat dito nakakahabol ka na sa kalaban. Kaso mukhang alat ata. Hehe

July - Hmmmmmm wala naman masyado kaso as much gusto ko tumakas eh mukhang alat. Hehe I watched some flicks, sana ok ang french film fest next year ha. I bought some things and yeah nothing changed except for UST na nananalo kahit sino kalaban except FEU. Hehe

August - for film addict or buff or anyone who just loves watching films eh masaya ako this month. From cinemalaya last month until this month, Eiga Sai naman. Saya!! Next year ulit!!! Hai! Hehe medyo alat ako sa work at nahirapan din. At yes unforgetable din talaga ulan na yun, akalain mo ilan araw ang ulan tapos panay linis at naku, grabe yun baha. First and I hole last time ko makita na baha ang halos lahat papunta ng work. Geez. At yes, damn Eiga Sai and japancinema.net, dumami collection ko lalo. Hahaha thanks to them!!

September - I want to change for what I said about last month, kahit papano masaya naman ako. Even that realization I need to get out from solitary as early kahit maaga pa sa plano ko, nagenjoy naman ako this month. A fun movie date with Dad, getting some rest na din at yeah UST goes number 2 sa final four!!! Di nga ko makakapanood ng final four sa Saturday, pero I know they will win! =)

At yes, may outing ang CG. At still waiting for that fire.

It was a steady quarter kahit may drastic decision I need to make. Kinapos eh.. Hehe

Time just flies away, tapos na ang 9 months.. I just hope na something better will happen sa last quarter. Hehe

At sana sa 4th quarter maka pantay na sa kalaban. =)

Got addicted to nippon cinema.. Hehe Anyway di lang dun siyempre nakuha ko na din yun ibang napanood ko na sulit this year. Pero siyempre nalason din sa kakapanood ng mga sayang sa oras. Bourne, at kung malas malas ka nga naman, pinoy version ng Legion, Amorosa (I had to painstaking watch it coz of Gerro) and yes Total Recall. Yes, that poor attempt to change Arnie's original sci fi flick. Looking forward! Hehe

Salamat at makakaleave ako this month.. Kala ko pati yun pagkait pa ng company, di bale malapit lapit na din ang pinakakahintay ko. Hehe Pero kailangan maganda din ang stats ko para may p4p. Habang nandito pa sa solitary.. Haha

Great at magchange na din ng time for work. Safer and easier going to work.. Hmmm USTe mukhang napagod sa kakahabol nung mga last games pero ok lang, importante makapasok sa final four!! O kung pwede top 2 sana. Pero after all the hopes, wala din pala.. Same freaking sked!!!

Grabe naman nangyari kay LA, akalain mo pagkatapos mag MVP sa jones cup eh ilalagay lang siya sa Ginebra? Baka pamalit lang siya kay benta este Mike Cortez, backup lang.. Bwiset. Hehe

Sad lang ako dahil sa sked na yun mga bagay na malabo ko gawin for now. But that's fine baka sabi ni God in due time.. Sana po soon!! Hehe

What else? Bilis ng panahon, BER months na agad! Pasko na agad in 3 months tops.. Geez di bale wala pa ko panregalo!! Hehe

I hope magfinals, manalo matalo GO USTe!! Hehe Good news nakabalik na si Igz at ok yun pasalubong.. Gandang idisplay..

Great that I found a new tool to write my piece.. Kulang na lang eh yun android type naman. Hehe Ano pa kaya. Hmmmmm

Beware eating at, Chowking!!

After seeing that pao sandwich worth 39 pesos.. I felt pity, sad and I hope sa iba ko na lang ginamit yun pera na yun. But it's too late na.. No turning back.. Kainin na lang!! Hehe

Well, pagkatapos nun eh parang months na din ako di na kumakain dun. Malamang kasi may nahanap na ko iba at halos natikman ko naman lahat sa menu nila except perhaps sa kangkong at yun naicha and yun lugaw ah sorry, congee pala.

Dito ang biggest problem nila is value for their food. Fox example, that sandwich, ok kung 39 pesos, not a bad price.. Pero yun lasa at dami, parang di sulit ha. Compare mo dun sa siomai house, kahit 25 lang isang order eh sulit naman, napapaorder pa ko isa pa. Or simply angel's burger, ang sarap magprito!! Kulang ang isang order dun. Kahit 50 pa nagastos ko, eh sulit naman. Here, kahit yun lauriat nila na marami nga variety, pagnasa harap mo na, nalungkot ka. Great evidence yun dati ko inorder, fish lauriat!! Mukhang marami sa display, pagdating sa harap mo, naku mas marami pa yun laman ng pancit kaysa sa mismong fish fillet!! Hehe nasunog ang 120 ata yun.. Bye bye. Hehe

Another thing yun service. Except dito sa welcome branch, eh halos lahat ng chowking ang bagal ng order. Lalo na sa jam pack na branch!! Grabe paano to fastfood eh may items na matagal iserve! Oh yun iba nakakalimutan. Naman oh. At yes matipid sila magbigay ng chili sauce. Hehe kaya talagang tested ang patience mo dito. Kaya dapat di ka sobrang gutom pag pumunta ka dito.

Last na turn off eh structure ng place nila. Pero mukhang naayos nila. But sa ibang branch ganun pa din. Counter eh nasa baba pero yun lutuan sa taas. Hehe kaya yun minsan ang tagal ng order. Saka yun space na set up nila, parang ang sikip lagi. Grabe parang di ka makagalaw paano pa pag puno yun branch? More chaotic.

Kaya yun, minsan pag nakita mo na sa malayo na mahaba pila at marami na tao, matagal yan at magulo.. Kahit yun Jollibee eh maraming tao, at least maraming counter, eh tong Chowking? Naku marami na pag dalawa. Hehe

Pero not all bad naman dito.. I like ko yun combo kings na noodles with siopao, sulit! Halo halo, kahit nagmahal, eh sulit naman lalo na sa lasa! Tapos lumpia lauriat at chicken supreme din, masarap kahit mahal. Lumpia sulit naman. Sayang naman, since sila lang ang chinese fastfood na sikat, eh dapat ayusin nila yun mga strategy nila lalo na sa service.

Eh parang wala na silang target for improving. Nakakahiya pa naman dahil may foreign branches na tapos ganito ang service? Baka wala pumunta dun. Ayos di ba? Kailangan lang nila magimprove.

Baka wala naman ata silang plano magimprove kasi yun kalaban naman ay nasa isang group of companies kaya mukhang di silang pressure. Hehe sayang naman ang advantage nila. Basta importante, more improvements at action plan dapat!

I hope sometime, there will be indeed the number 1 chinese fastfood chain.

For now, enough for that pao sandwich.. Por pabor..

Eye of the Beholder

A young couple seems to be enjoying their blizzard date.. Sweet as this very tasty blizzard that they love to share. It looks that guy is older than the girl, around early 20's. Girl looks like just graduated from High School. They love the color white as seen in what they are wearing.. They are also fond of big glasses. Even it's really bright here inside. Fashion statement perhaps..

The place was kind of bare, it has only 3 customers.. Including me. Maybe it's the time of the day and the weather may also affect it's sales. It's rainy season then few will buy ice cream at this time. I hope even once in a lifetime, I can eat the ice cream cake besides me.

The cab right across me is closed for renovation. Geez they don't need one unless they will put a real yellow cab in the restaurant.

Even it's already lunch time, few people seems to stroll around. I feel sorry for the fliptop shop near me, I hope they sell a lot this day. Sorry it's a fitflop if I read it right. Damn I need to check my eyesight these days.

An old couple comes in and buy some sweet treats.. Another sweet date?

I see people walking in office clothes, going for lunch or some window shopping to kill time.

A long table quite empty. Nobody wants to each pizza at lunch..

Tasting my rocky road blizzard made me realize that it's almost the same to double dutch!! Less nuts I guess..

One family passed by almost come in but maybe they haven't eaten lunch. They need to eat lunch before eating desserts. 2 med studs just came in and with a smile of their faces they don't yet what to buy. I suggest they choose sweetest blizzard to ease stress in their studying brain.

Then a kid comes to me wih his DS to say good morning. How nostalgic to be a kid like him. Just playing his toy and having fun all day. Mom sits besides the kid.. Pops at my left looking in a dazed state.

Med studs after buying some blizzards, looked lost when they leave the store. Looking for a library..

Nah, wrong guess, the dude left and sitting beside me is a mom and son tandem. Loving mom gave the kid a simple vanilla cone then Mom gets her 6 oz blizzard. 20% battery remaining..

Damn!

That's all I can say.. But wait! Passed by 2 studs from MCU, by the looks of them, they're studying in college. Especially that one, typical innocent college girl.. Hmmm

Time to save some batt!! Arghhh.

Now, I can't believe I've been in a number of companies worked for the past years. Even this is not my dream job, well can't help but still say thank you for it and I'm still here, survived economically then having helped my family in some sorts. I haven't made a post about how my job works and the industry I'm working in.

This is the time to reveal my insights, views or even rantings and yes, some tips. It's not only for me but for others who might looking for a job, and thinking is this job for me? Customer service representative, Customer service agent, Inbound customer service, or it has a lot of titles, whatever you call it. It only does one thing, help the lost customer to meet his needs or sometimes wants.

I may give some tips if this place is good with the companies that stays with it. Locations you can go, or how about how to get there, and yes.. I might give some well, who is the client behind these call centers. The confidentiality agreement? Over.

I can't believe that the Philippines emerged as the number one call center hub in the world. Surpassing the big BPO provider India! Even indian call centers also flock to us to offer jobs. Just look at my previous work, I was surprised that it's an indian call center.

Wayback 2005? Geez, Philippines just starting to pick up and I don't even think we will be able to become the best because the companies that invest in our country were small in number. There were less "in-house" companies stationed here before than now.

Present time, we've become the number one call center hub in the world due to our great skills in speaking English and yes, even our hospitable quality was commended in that success. I'm proud that I was able to see now in the newspapers or news sites, simply amazing for all of us agents. Now, we are now targeting not only the call center industry, but the whole BPO industry as well, getting chunk of the other services to invest in the country.

Well, it's been a journey for me until now that with the experience I got and the fun I've been working in this industry, but I guess it's not really for me. I don't even think I want to be a Team Leader of sorts, especially if the account is quite toxic.

I hope with this series of my walkthrough in my job will guide you or understand that in this industry, it's not easy. You will need a lot of patience, skills to learn and most of all, a voice that shows your finishing the job for your customer. Even it's already beyond your limit. Yes, this work will also test your decisions, even your morals...

Indeed, our voice is the primary tool to survive in this tight industry.

Let's start at a place which is quite far from my place.

Oh that title? Well, that's the signal when you have an interview or worse, an assessment in training or doing a mock call.

classics: Fast times at Ridgemont High

While searching for good ol 80's high school movies, there were a lot. Although my fave was Ferris Buehler's Day off, there were a lot to choose from after that.. John Hughes movies like Pretty in Pink and The breakfast club. My brother's favorite movies like weird science, earth girls are easy and others.. When I checked the list of great 80's high school flicks, well.. I encountered one title that surprised me in those lists.. Fast times at Ridgmont High!

Damn, that movie simply did not disappoint me. =)

Dude, I want to get stoned! Hahaha

But for this film, let's go for the forgivable flaws. The likeable characters like yes, Linda and Jeff should have more screening time. Although all their scenes were fun to watch but yeah.. I hope they had more screen time than those main characters which for me, quite bland characters. Even Forest Whitaker's character should have been given a longer screen time. How about Nicholas Cage and Eric Stoltz? First and the last Nicholas Cage film that he did not even use Nicholas Cage in the credits. How about Mr. Hand? Come on, even he's like the annoying teacher in the film, he's such fun to watch that went crazy over his students, notably against Jeff.

Another was the OST. Let me make myself clear that it has a great OST but I think they are not inclined to brit pop music unlike what John Hughes did for his flicks. Although it has cool sounds and great songs chosen for the film, it just well not on top to other flicks which for me, has a better OST. Dude that's it!!

First great thing about this flick! Damn, that's what HS is all about, crazy fun, some stunts, sex and waves!!! It's plot very simple, story about lives of each student going to finish their HS days, thinking what is right to do and becoming happy, and yes, enjoying HS life. Every single plot in that movie made sense and have fun of it, even the story of the young couple which yeah the woman is kinda eager going all the way.. She did to the wrong guy. Geez.. But in the end, their tender love blossom. How about Linda's case? Damn, she's hot all the time, even she's crying at the prom. =) The scalper dude who just doesn't think really. How about the dude who landed 3 jobs and got lucky at the end! Then yeah, Mr. Hand's class and what studs do in class like having cheat sheets..

It's like every scene matters and really gave you the sense of fun at those HS days. I hope mine was like that perhaps, and yeah everytime Jeff Spicoli is at one scene, cool dude!!!

Speaking of those characters. The second part I loved in the movie, definitely the cast itself. It's hard to believe but even most of them, the main characters did not well famous enough for the long time.. But it was casted correctly for each star. Surprisingly initial roles from actors who are very famous today! You will see who are they. Good acting by the each star, even the very small role like the brother of Forest Whitaker in the movie. Or how about that weird teacher, great one. From cameos of Nicholas Cage, then small role of Eric Stoltz, then yeah Phoebe Cates as a supporting character, Mr. Hand, then the main ones of Ramone, Geek dude, Judge Reinold and revealing Jennifer Jason Leigh. Yeah!!! And of course, the great actor, of all his films I watched, this is the film I loved from him. Sean Penn.. Magnificent and iconic portrayal that all those stoner, rocker, surfer, long haired, clueless, careless, f*$ker dude!! Legendary role that was well, copied already by other actors. That's why there were these kind of dudes in school flicks, it's because of him.. Hmmmm I love his, "that's my skull!" after hitting his sneakers to his head. I was laughing at his first scene with Mr. Hand and another one when he ordered a pizza straight to his class, that was funny!!! What a d*ck! =) Sean Penn really bring this movie to this status, without him, damn this film will be boring.

Lastly, I commend the director for doing a great job of motivating the cast to their roles correctly, and the pace quite right for the film, not long but it's just enough. It's not like Pretty in Pink that you will go only to the story of Molly Ringwald, but in this film, you have many to root for. No need to be like more laughs or mind bending, just simply the right mix of this film. Commend all the crew for making this flick, and yes, don't forget the iconic shots of this film, from the stoner scenes, the date, the football game, how Judge got promoted, that hot scene, and yes, the most iconic scene from Phoebe Cates.. Damn, I hope I did see that in my childhood days then having some wet dreams.. Hahahaha At that dream sequence, that was played correctly by someone who has raging hormones.. Cannot believe still Phoebe has some pinoy blood. Hmmmmmm That scene played with a great guitar OST, perfect!!!! Judge was kinda lucky that time..

Oh well, the only lesson of the story? Damn, enjoy every bit of your HS life and be sure you have a pool at your house.. Whew!

I do wish I've done those. =)
