Ah di ito tungkol dun sa afternoon failed drama ng GMA 7 na lead si Kris Bernal, na may storyang siya ang nawawalang apo ng isang mayamang koreano na di naman marunong mag korean language at siyempre di mukhang koreana. hahahaha Di ko napanood ito.

Eh habang looking forward sa aking orienation, biglang ang nasa katabi ko eh foreigner, Korean! hehe At babae, a great close look kung gaano kaganda ang isang koreana.. Hmmmm I hope japanese sana. hehe
Orientation ongoing is half boring half fun at certain times. 50% focus sa orientation, 50% focus sa Koreana. hehe What is striking about her, magkasing height kami, almost same height and unang tining ko parang Mom or kaunti lang ang agwat namin sa edad, pero nung nag ask yun facilitator kung sino mga fresh grads, aba nagtaas ng kamay! So bata pa to?! Wow fresh! hehe

Well, indeed young siya. I mean no moment na di mo makikita wala sa kamay niya ang Pantech Sky Vega phone na maganda pala smart phone ha. Yun nga lang, walang service center dito. hehe Few moments she listen to the orientation, at higit sa lahat, mukhang bago pa lang sa pinas. Ni di nga bumati dito. In fairness, marunong naman mag english and writes as well. I discovered that Koreans eh mahilig sa FB unlike Japs, Kakao talk of course, with emoticons. Yun sulat nila sa libro as she is reading something sa ipad mini eh normal style, horizontal pala. Unlike Chinese or Japanese na di maalis yun vertical style nila. 

Her looks, hmmm Like I said mature kasi akala ko mas matanda lang ako kaunti eh or mom, but very good looking mom. hahaha At take note, koreans love dying their hair hazelnut brown basta parang ganun shade, like in their TV shows. As much na maganda sila, gaya niya na may bilog na mata, di masyado makapal na kilay, lips na like chinese sexy type and skin, tamang puti lang. Mamula mula. hehe Parang mas gusto ko yun kaysa sa sobrang puti na parang vase or porcelana. Eto yun puti na gusto ko, at di lang naman siya yun nakita ko ganyan. Parang nakakita ako ng TV star ng isang korean soap. Normal lang yun ganun pez. In fariness, walang makeup siya ha, ganun na agad ang beauty. hahaha Wow, pero that won't sway my likeness from Japanese. I'll rank Japanese first, then Chinese and now Korean for east asian beauties. Di ko rin naman gusto language nila na pabalang. Bias no? hehe

What shocked me is this, well, lunch namin at libreng food, kuha siya ng food. May baon siya, parang sayote type fruit whatever.. I chose chickenjoy, siya fish, well in her figure malamang diet. hehe Aba after some bites, di niya ginalaw yun food, at tinapon sa bin! Bwisit to, parang gusto ko sigawan na libre na tinapon pa. Dapat di na lang siya kumuha. Ayun, walang pakialam. Well, dun nabwisit ako..

Hours later, nawala bwisit ko, keep staring at her. hahahaha Her legs, parang runner or volleyball type. Medyo malaki at take note, di nakaheels. Hay, mukhang may attitude ito. I don't know if she will last at her work. Parang bilingual analyst ata work niya. Masearch nga sa intranet namin. hahaha

Anyway, it's my first time siguro na tahimik ako sa isang comany orientation at tahimik na nakatanga lang sa babaeng foreigner. Well, I don't know, judgemental agad ako, di ko kinausap.. Wag na, kung marunong ako koreano, malamang kinausap ko na. hahaha Basta sure ako, bago lang to sa pinas. Sobrang loyal sa korea, aba hanggang inumin eh korean din. Ni di nga kumuha ng juice sa free snack. Ayaw din sa Jollibee. hehe
Well, but fascination is not there. Maganda siya but well, all korean actresses I see on film or TV same face, same figure. Kaya unlike sa Japs or Chinese, may variety. hehe But for them, that face or more dark eyebrows or dark hair, basta walang variety, they have almost the same style. I hope she'll stay and maybe improve sa attitude. hahaha At since mabilis sila matuto, aba magtagalog na din siya. 

I tried to see anong meaning ng name niya, kasi sa Chinese at Japanese, yun name nila associated sa thing or element or another noun. Wala siyang meaning, na try ko sa google translate or other website.

To Koreans, what is Ree Ha stands for? =)

flashbacks: 30 years after

Wow, 30 years and 365th day is coming to a close. Can't imagine that I'll be a year older in after 8 hours. hehehe

Looking back those 30 years, this space won't be enough and I must say that although I'm happy but not satisfied. Oh dear, I haven't reach anything yet. hahaha However, despite the ongoing challenges I have or struggles not only within me but also around me, I can't believe I'm still here. I realized He did give a purpose to live. 

I can't go back to those years which I could avoid mistakes or failures. I can't even go back yesterday, and I don't want even to frown by it. Sometimes, even I done something good or great, I know I'm humble or not really going into it, but I'm not valued or a simple thank you will appreciate it. But sometimes, when everything such in a wrong direction or failure even I did not take part of it, it is my fault. Worse, I'm part of the blame. Its disheartening, or I felt I'm worthless. Worst of all, they brand me, selfish which most of time, I'm not. Especially these past years until present time, I don't know, am I still selfish? It was painful. Very painful. Thank God I'm such a forgiving and loving person.. hahaha

However, if I feel that bad vibes all the time, I won't be here. Mind you, I won't be writing either. But thanks to some close people and of course Him, that I feel valued, important, and most of all, love... =) Even in a small number or sometimes, not really related, that keeps me going thru this ironic life. Willing to fight, willing to share or if it needed, sacrifice. Now, whatever happened in the past, is done. I can't go back or get back or even revenge. 

What I can do for the next many years ahead are to be mature enough to accept mistakes or failure. Learn fast and cope with it. As I think for the best of other's, maybe I should also think for the best for me. Be healthy inside and out, geez less eating perhaps. Change. hahaha Live life that I want to in a honest and stable way. 

I may have current hard responsibilities or mountain of challenges with a bit of good luck going but I won't give up. I feel that by His presence alone, with the help of my family, friends and others, I could endure and win!

Besides, I can say..

Those 30 years past is worth living anyway.

I'm going to make the next years, let's say..

Fruitful.

(part four)


It is near that I can finish this damn place.

Insular Building - One of the oldest building in the country. Built around 1930's besides the airport, or actually it's an airport along Ayala Ave. before, after those years, Ayala Ave. is now one of the leading business districts or premier center in the country. It houses the Insular group of companies which they serve insuraces. 24/7 has a site here which I'm not sure still stands. CVG has also a training center situated here which I'm not sure if they still conduct trainings here. Be careful using the elevator especially going down... It really goes downwards especially at the ground floor. Due to it's old structure, don't be surprised about ghost stories here, like in the chapel and basement.. Let me tell you, it is damn scary. hahahha There are food stalls and restos like Jollibee, Chowking, Yellow cab, and Gerry's, not sure about Chicboy here if still runs. 

If you have 5 minutes left before logging in and you are at the bottom, you'll be late for sure! hahaha

After Insular, go accross to it, you'll see BPI building then another big building as well across to it.

Enterprise Center - This good looking building in Ayala houses some of the big companies such as Sun Life, a department of BPI, Macquarie financial, Phillip Morris, a lot of derma clinics, and other companies that I haven't heard of. Well, the food stalls here are quite expensive and the only cheapest you can go is at Jollibee. I'm not sure if Sun Life is still here, CVG used to have a center here but it was transferred already. Great thing about this place? It's just looks beautiful inside and out. 

 MSE - Makati Stock Exchange is what it means, for now they are situated at the heart of Ayala Ave but at the long run, they will transfer to BGC. It houses almost all the stock brokerages, it has a Globe center, and a branch of BPI. It also has the famous Ayala Triangle for eating, running, and sometimes fun events. I'm not sure if Accenture has a service center here but one call center is here, Credit Corp.

I did not pass in Credit Corp which I don't know why but I thought it was fine. They do is Skip Tracing for clients who has bad debt customers. You'll need to trace and contact these deliquent customers to any means necessary such as internet, FB, blogs if they write one, paying bills, moving to a different address or even recent purchases they did under their name. If you found them, call them in any means, and collect as high you can be. They are inhouse company which I do heard Credit Corp when I worked as financial services rep. What's the good thing here? If we celebrate Philippine holiday, they don't have work. If Australia has a holiday, take a leave as well. All of those holidays are paid. It means, one month of a whole year, you accumulated easy paid leave. Also, they only have one schedule, 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Hiring was difficult I mean, first test is a phone interview with work simulation then final was an interview with an Australian National. Geez, I did a poor job in the interview and did not pass. Sad but true. I thought it is a hard work but great thing I did not pass. 


Hay, at least, I'll make sure this place is done at part five.

ReView

This past month was really frentic. Biglaan lahat hanggang kahapon. hahaha Pero mabuti maayos din naman for now. Importante last May eh nangyari yun di ko inaasahan na blessing. Kala ko I'll just stick to other things na itry ko gustuhin, pero Lord just gave me a chance. Yeah, just hope and gave me somewhat a miracle.

Di na kagulat gulat ang nangyari sa IND. hehe Walang PG na matino at di pwede George or Lance lang gagawa. Siyempre kakalungkot na MEM, GSW at recently, OKC folded pero iba talaga ang Tanders Spurs, mukhang may panalo sila this year. 

I might shy away sa DOTA, I mean tama na muna sa 20/104 or 110 ata sa new version. hehe Iba naman pagaaralan ko sa following months, time to get serious and enriching. 

Next months, kailangan ibalik na ang dating gawi sa blog at kailangan iupdate na din ang wordpress. hahaha I need to consult this to a specialist. Or study perhaps pero sa design talaga, wala ako maisip. hahaha I'm good at appreciating arts but doing one, I'm such a clumsy dude. Di man lang talaga ako namanahan nila Dad at Kuya sa galing ng drawing. 

First things first, eh kailangan mabalik ko yun SAP ko sa computer, di ko mahanap ang tech ko! Erghhh.. Ah, ano pa ba.. Bilis naman ng PBA, talagang bakbakan na. hahaha Ginebra mukhang tumino kay Cariaso ha. 

Well, sa ngayon, yun lang muna. Unforgettable and uplifting month at least. A lot of hope.. =)

Oh well, next month, a month of happiness. Literally..

X-Men: Days of the Future Past

Of course, a real fact that once you are in the future, you cannot change the past unless you have such power or ability. However, if we are talking about saving the mankind from such desolate future, the only way you can do, change the past. All means..

As much I want to give the story away, this spot won't be enough to cover basic premise. But what can I say, the story they did for this X-Men flick is the best. Despite complex story arc, they gave so much effort to tell a simple story and not going anywhere as the movie goes along.

First of all, what I did not like about the film, but it's a minor flaws which are forgivable. Very forgivable.. Hmmm first the quicksilver role was cut short! They got the rights for the life of Magneto and Quicksilver, why cut short? Geez, maybe they can have him in Xmen for a while. Besides, he joined I forgot which group, either Xfactor, Xcalibur, or Xforce. I don't know. But the actor was great as quicksilver especially in that fun sequence and how his power shown in this film. Another flaw but this was due to that time travelling arc, I can say, Cyclops or Jean Grey should be really included in this line up. Even Iceman and Angel, they were the first Xmen so they did not make an effort to really include them. Cable can be included in the future or even Forge. There were characters that fans know it should be there in the major plot but nah, it's not there. This had some great cameos anyway in the end. 

Give the first credit to Bryan Singer, despite those bad publicity.. He was able to assemble not only a large cast, but able to put the story right, and the effects, effective. No need for 3D effects. That's why after Matthew Vaughn, Bryan Singer is indeed the next fit director. I was thinking, while watching the film, as much I want Matt Vaughn directing this flick, I thought he's directing the future due to the graphic action and visuals of the setting. Bryan is the one doing the past, 70's period which is not bad although it has the less action. But still, give credit to him. I love that first scene twist! 

Second thing the effects used in this flick is fantastic! Especially the powers used in the future, wow, if it added some gore, that is Xmen! But it's fine, from powers of pyro, Iceman, Bishop, that teleporting chinese lady, hmm Kitty as that mind teleport and even Magneto despite of Ian's old age. Wow, and the sentinels of course! Even they don't look like one showing in the comics or that cartoons, with a little explanation, I'm convinced those are mean Sentinels. 

Third, screenplay, the right talent and logic used in this film. I mean it has flaws, all time travelling flicks has that flaw of environment or setting flaws, but this one like my friend said, erased Last Stand. They were able to connect to important storylines into a great ride. I hope they just include the first part of the film in first class and make the second part of this film longer with a lot of thrills and action but well, that's my suggestion. However, the pace is not a single boring at all. The longest Xmen flick indeed and I was not bored at all, despite switching time scenes. I loved a lot of scenes, like how Professor X regained his hope through talking his future self. I love that scene. How about that scene where Wolverine lost his future self and talking his 70's self then switch it back, that's not easy to do. There were a lot of scenes I want to share with but just watch this!!! 

Last and the biggest factor why this Xmen flick worked great? The ensemble of actors. At first, when they announced they will combine the past and present Xmen actors, I was liked this might flop. But hey, with the great factors I mentioned above, then add the great cast from First Class and the great cast from the previous Xmen, the interactions showing and Wolverine really well done a great job setting this film in the right path, despite, Bishop is the one used in the comics. I'm sold, stoked and breathless as this film going. I was surprised that Mystique gave the lead of this flick, then how the relationship of Prof X and Magneto really works on and off, give credit to James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. No small characters went to waste, even Nixon's look alike is great. All the characters despite small screen time, made prescence felt. As much, we want more, then they should make a TV series instead like others do, such as Walking Dead or Game of Thrones. 

There are a lot of great films this summer, except for Spidey 2, but for now, this one really stands out! Can't wait for the next one, which as you saw, the Apocalypse. That would be massive arc and they should not omit important characters. Please!!!

Now, hmmmm after this film, I was more satisfied after watching Maleficent free. =) 

Faithful Thee

Wow, just celebrated earlier 4th of the Feast PICC seems made me old. Hehe Ah kahit namis ko around 4 months na di makapunta ng feast and CG due to some errands and trainings, parang wala ako namiss. =)

For the past 3 years I never thought na ill be move into joining a community, more so participating events. Hahaha Serving as well. Like in my previous posts, marami na nagawa sa kin ang LOJ and it seems nagiging close pa ko kay Jesus. I still consider myself an infant into growing in faith. However, as I grow or the relationship with Him, there were things happening that I didn't expect na good or bad coming soon and yet I still feel blessed. Kahit minsan eh nagiinggit or I feel down myself na di ko naachieve eto or bakit ako di ganun, parang after sometime, ok na ko. I'm fine and weel through reflection, prayer and works.

In those 3 years, nalaman ko na din yun pasikot sikot in the community even the topics discussed whether its modified, rehashed or reinstated. Minsan nga one talk eh naisip ko, parang nasabi na yun sometime eh. Hehe O paranag narinig ko na yan somewhere. But hey, God's love is always constant. His word can be interpreted in so may ways but it will be always has the same meaning. =) Do not be afraid, continue to believe, and love life!

Kamiss na din magCG. Hehe Ah kahit ako eh head na, mukhang di pa ko ready. Haha well sometimes Jesus delays some task to give time na prepare. Ika nga its your availability, not ability. Eh sakto nga kasi this time of the year, may mga changes mangyayari sa kin kaya salamat delay muna. Pero I don't like delaying too long. Let me serve. =)

I can proudly say I haven't reach full renewal yet. Yes gaya ng sabi ko, infant pa lang ang journey ko as I grow in my faith, but Im very grateful that I really enjoying such road to conversion and renewal. Mahirap talaga lalo maraming challenges and temptations, even worries.. Nevertheless, that doesn't stop me to change my path.

I know that in this journey, I am with my savior, redeemer and shepherd.. Why stop now?

It's only the beginning. =) I won't be this firm sa faith if I missed that invitation 3 years ago. Now, I'm very grateful to be part in this ministry and looking forward in the future for greater glory that God prepared not only for me or even close people o kahit sa community, but for all of us!

Thank you to LOJ, ah from builders, preachers, ministries and all the servants. May we always be the Light to others by being like Jesus perhaps. =) We hope we can achieve the mission of a thousand feasts. Hehe From glory to glory...

One suggestion, I think in the PICC feast, hmmm we need a bigger place. A lot bigger. Haha
