One Same Solemn Affair: Two Weddings in Three Days!

(Our Love Story Unfolds..)

No special title nakalagay sa invitation nila. Siyempre, as December 16 approaches, I don’t know what to expect. Well, alam mo naman siyempre how the wedding works. Church then reception plus some programs and a lot of photos. Of course, iba yun kay Igz at yun ibang wedding na napuntahan ko. Nafeel ko parang umay na ko. Hahaha Maybe, I should take my turn. =)

However, si Doc muna at eto pa naka abang si Rheg sa Feb. Mabuti February si Rheg, talagang masasawa na ko sa kasal pag sumabay pa siya ng December. Hehe I frankly asked Doc kung bakit sa dami ng date sa December eh sa 16 pa. Sabi niya anniv daw kasi nila ni Tin. Sabagay, madaling tandaan pag tagal. Hehe

Monday night wala naman ako special na ginawa, I did was sleep early kasi alam mo naman si Doc, bawal malate sa call time na set niya. Mahirap na. hahaha Tuesday morning, everything is set at hinihintay ko na lang si Igz. Himala si Rheg di pa late or maarte, kasi si Doc na ikakasal, mahirap na madelay o malate, alam niya kasi mangyayari. Yari siya. Hahaha Igz and Shayne are available, then Khaye, later na makasabay sa church na kasi sa umaga may event ang company niya.

We went sa Sulo hotel in QC. At last, a wedding that so near at my place. A first! Hahaha Ah, ayun na, mabuti pala eh ayos ang coat ko, at may libreng tie pa pala bigay si Doc. Pink color pala ha. Surprisingly, naiwan ko naman ang invitation. Bwiset. Hahaha Pero mabuti na lang entourage ako. So, another surprise na marunong na ko magtali ng tie. Di nga lang perfect triangle pero tama naman. Aba ako agad nag tie sa Groom. Hahaha At kay Sir Rheg, si Igz ok na.

Si Doc relax lang pero medyo stress kasi naman, naiwan yun susuotin niya sa kasal! Di pa kami makapagpicture because of the delay, pero chill pa din si Doc. Kami naman, kwentuhan kasama yun ibang friends ni Doc. Sa baba pala ng hotel yun ladies entourage although di naman namin nakita until sa church. After some hour, dumating na at last ang damit ni Doc at kita naman kay Doc ang excitement and well, happiness. Never had an anxious moment, ah meron pala later.

Aba, bilis magbihis ni Doc at ayun na, simula na ng mga picture at kaunting presentation. May “game over” post pa nalalaman to si Doc ha. Hahaha Geez.. Then pinahirapan namin si Doc na entrance vid niya, pinatalo namin siya eh. Hehe Pero game naman si Doc. At ang nakakatawa sa lahat, aba may shot pa kailangan gawin. Black Label miniature pa! Mukhang masisira na ang 2 taong di umiinom. Hahaha Well, may posing kuno at nung game na at binuksan yun black label, amoy pa lang alam kong malakas to at di ko kaya. Hahaha Dumaan lang sa dila ko, ok na. Pero lintek si Doc, inubos! Hahaha Siya na mismo nagsabi kahit di ishot ok lang, aba siya pala uubos! Hahaha Kahit may coke na kasama, di na!  May survival kit pa pala bigay si Doc, mineral water at maraming matamis. Makakain din yan. Haha

Dumeretcho na kami sa church, sa may St. Joseph ata sa greenhills, parang napuntahan ko na siya na wedding din pero nakalimutan ko lang kanino. Anyway, ayun, sa galing magdrive ni Igz, nauna kami sa place at kami pa tinanong ni Doc saan ang daan namin. Grabe naman kasi sa EDSA, basta EDSA hanggang Pasay ata ang trapik that time! Diyos miyo. Hahaha Pero grabe ang trapik, yun mga shortcut dinaanan namin, ganun din, paano greenhills, pag December, no choice kung hindi mag tiis sa lintek na traffic.

Dagdag mo pa ang ulan pero paambon-ambon lang naman at may surprise guest pa na si Corps Commander, este JC pala. Hahaha Akalain mo bibisita lang siya sa wedding, naging ring bearer pa! hahaha Para kasi magoopera pa din so malabo makarating on time, si JC bigla kinuha. No choice siya. Haha

Dumating sila Doc and other guests kasi iba dinaanan nila at nung malapit na magstart yun wedding. Mukhang di nagiging calm si Doc, aba kailangan na namin pakalmahin ng kaunti si Doc. Paano yun convoy ni Tin eh sa EDSA ata dumaan. Hahaha Kaya ayun, sobrang traffic. Nagiinit na si Doc nung nasa aisle na siya and most of the entourage. Sabi naman, darating din yan Doc! Ano ka ba. Hehe

Few minutes later, may signal na yun coordinator na pwede na magstart. Despite, well yun iba nasa entourage eh natrapik, we proceed. Eto, sa tagal namin friend si Doc eh ngayon ko lang nakita na buong araw eh naka ngiti siya ha! Kahit stress or medyo confusing, aba kalmado lang at relax. This is indeed the happiest day of his life! Si Tin eh pag lakad ng aisle, teary eyed na. hehe Pero wala na din yun stress from the past days and now, blooming! Wow. Hehe Then, the wedding started. As usual same routine but this time different! Aba, after ng Gospel, deretcho vows na! Feel the rush ata si Father.

Pero, sa dating ng vows, si Doc eh talagang sundalo, always ready. May speech na inahanda at higit sa lahat, composed. Hahaha Very lovely at creative ha. Swak si Doc! Si Tin, as all the time na kasama namin eh mas matapang kay Doc minsan. Hahaha Dito, wow, lady ang dating and yeah, cried for joy as she is giving her lovely speech! Good job for both of them. Si Doc, abot tenga yun ngiti eh. Hahaha

Dahil sa sobrang bilis ng ceremony eh pati kami nagulat at pagkapicture with the group sa church, nauna na kami. Nakalimutan pa pala namin yun picture taking sa labas! Hahaha Kaya tumawag pa si Doc at hinanap kung nasan kami. Si JC, ayun kahit yayain namin siya sa kainan eh may pupuntahan pa daw na party sa office niya kaya di nakasabay. =(

Anyway, papunta sa Gazebo Royal was a lot easier, siyempre ibang daan pinuntahan namin and of course, una na naman kami! Hahaha

Sa sobrang una kami at atat, ginugulo yun starbucks booth kasi nakakuha kami ng libre frappe! Unfortunately, 3 lang sa min meron, yun  dalawang kasama namin, others. Hahaha Pero bumawi naman sa crackers at sweets na nakahanda agad para di mainip ang bisita. Ok yun gimik na yun ha. Hehe

Well, dahil medyo matagal pa ang bagong kasal, ano ano na pinaguusapan namin on top pa sa mga booths available. One sad thing, that photo booth failed! =( Natawa na lang kami kung ilan beses kami nagpapicture, waley naman. Hahaha

Other than that, ok naman, service is great despite, ehem, around 270 guests! Second largest number of guests napuntahan ko in a wedding. Great thing, unang table kami. Bwahaha Well, after ilang plato na biscuits at ilan baso ng tea ininom namin, aba sa wakas, nandito na ang newly wed couple!

Of course, as usual, the routine except no doves pero kakatuwa yun first dance ha. Parang si Doc di naman dancer nung HS/college ha, biglang napasayaw na sa wedding?! Hahaha Si Tin effort din kaso iba ata nagpractice si Doc. Of course, don’t forget the speeches ng respective families at guests, kahit si Igz eh napasalita. Hahaha Mabuti di si Rheg. Hahaha

Then, always, the last part… Eto eh paghipan ng lobo, grabe, nanghina ako tapos ayun, mabuti mabilis yun laro at wala na. haha Talo talaga. Ok lang, eh di talaga ako pang singles game. Pero di ibig sabihin puro talo ako. Nanalo na ko isang beses dun sa singles game, dun pa kay Arman ata na wedding niya, kaso di ako makadiskarte, nakabantay ang parents ng girl. HS pa ata eh. Hahaha Anyway…

Ah, wag siyempre kalimutan ang fuds!!! Masarap ang fish fillet at yun inihaw na angus beef! Bwisit, di na ko nakabalik. Hahaha Di nga ko umabot sa dessert. Nakakatawa nga, yun waiter nagaalok ng fundador, tumatanda na talaga tayo. Hahaha Tapos in the end, heart warming message ng couple and thankful to make the event happen fruitfully. Noong nakita ko mga ninong, mukhang mga general, eh medyo ingat na. Mahirap na masemento. Hehe

It was a fast and fun wedding. Fast kasi from the wedding sa church hanggang sa program, eh dami nangyari yet not really dragging. Nagulat nga kami, yun time na pauwi na kami, aba nauna natapos yun wedding. Haha

We went home safely and easily kasi madali lang naman ang traffic.

Hay, how fast the time flies na kasama kay Doc. Dati nagaaral lang ng Med tapos yun pumasa siya and nag practice na, aba di siya nagbago. Sa CRAP, siya yun pinakasimple. Although they might not agree but I still feel he is simple and humble. Naks. At palatawa. Hahaha I mean, from the times na sa grupo na kailangan niya ng tulong, hanggang sa times na kami na humihingi ng tulong at may times pa na siya pa magooffer ng tulong eh iba na talagang to Doc. Kaya dapat talaga, I mean that’s the reason why na tumagal sila ni Tin, siya na mismo magbibigay. =)

Pero siyempre kailangan pa niya magimprove sa ibang bagay, lalo na sa pagpapasaya ha. Hehe Saka we hope he’ll find the best speciality. Eh medyo alat ata siya pero with the support ni Tin eh makakamtan di lang yun gusto niya, naku para yan sa kanila ni Tin. For Tin, just continue have faith kay Doc, siyempre love, di naman mawawala yun at hope na lagi binibigay ni Doc. Parang DOTA lang yan, di pa tapos ang laban pag sira na ang world tree! Hahaha

At most of all, both of you should well, learn to give way for each other. That’s the reason why they lasted for 8 long years! I know sa marriage, malaking key yan and they will need more being level or humble for each other. =)

For both of you, your love will bring you to the Moon and back…

I don’t know what that means. Hehe

Well, next is the R sa CRAP, sa Feb pa naman. Hay mabuti naman. Hahahaha Wag kaya ako pumunta, alam ko naman mangyayari, yun vows at yun pagiging John Lloyd na hayop na to este ng best friend kong to. Hehe

Everytime I stare those couples at the altar, or seeing them dance or just drinking wine together.. I felt mixed emotions. Jealous of course but when I think my situation.. Wala na inggit. Hehe Very happy as I can see them full of love and grace. Kung baga, like the other weddings na napuntahan ko, they can survive whatever trials or struggles they’ll face. It’s like once you have each other, it’s a good start to move forward.

It’s sad na siyempre, a lot times na di naman pwede lagi kami magkasama na, or less frequent those days of playing DOTA, or get together sa bahay na kaming apat lang or kahit going out, unless they want to. I bet that will happen less. Kaya naman masasabi  ko time well spent nung mga days or events na magkakasama kaming apat. Haha Although may mga bagay or places na di pa namin napupuntahan kaming apat eh mangyayari pa din, yun nga lang may mga ehem.. Guwardiya Sibil. Hehe Unless they trust us. Hahaha

See, how mixed my emotions are? More time for me to be alone or go to my other close circle of friends. Damn, I’m lucky to have a lot of friends. But CRAP is unreplacable, irrevocable and most of all, unseparable. =) Come to think of it, what the hell we became close? Hahaha

Love for me, quite elusive. Indeed, I tried to search one these past years. Kung di naman pwede, inaalat naman. Busy, or worse nawala pa. Darn.. Hay, but they thought it’s always my “standards”.. Nah, these past years, preference na lang. hahaha More balance with to think and to feel love. Siguro I don’t believe in love at first sight. That was proven after someone refers to me. Hehe Saka these past years, priorities and goals change but siyempre di naman dapat mawala yun ang pagkaroon ng sarili kong pamilya. It’s one of my dreams… Kahit tumanda na yun mga pamangkin ko. Hahaha I’ll have my own family and yes, girlfriend muna. Chill lang. =)

I believe love should not only involves attraction but also evolution for both you. Whatever you want to grow between both of you is up to decide.

Importante naman pagtagal eh kung nararamdaman mo na pag yun kabiyak mo na nagpapaligaya sayo kahit sa maliit na bagay o sa simpleng bagay na may pagmamahal, yun na ang oras na magisip na mag asawa. Tama nga na pag aasawa eh di lang sarap, kung hindi maraming hirap pero ang importante ang masaya eh paano niyo nalalagpasan ang hirap tungo ginahawa. Madaling sabihin, mahirap gawin..

Kaya ako, siguro I’ll enjoy being single the best I can then at the same time, find someone again who will simply love me as I am. Always.

Actually, I already have a dream wedding.. Naisip ko na, kaso that will change if my future wife has other plans. Darn. Hahaha

I just want a scene, walking in a long winding road, holding her hand, and never let go.

One Same Solemn Affair: Two Weddings in Three Days!

(A Union of Seven and Sixes)

It’s a long explanation kung bakit ganun ang title ng kasal ni Igz, according to their invitation. Hehe But anyhow naintindihan ko lang eh July 6^th ang birthday nila. Tama nga naman, seventh month of the year, 6^th of July. Hmmmm

Oh, yun na nga, imbes na 4:00 pm kami nakaalis eh etong si Rheg mukhang may sabit pa ang suit niya. So, I need to wait more and of course si Doc. Basta that time, maghintay na lang kaysa kulitin pa si Doc. Hehe Naisip ko kung iwan na lang kaya namin si Rheg tapos sunod na lang siya sa Sabado. Hahahaha

Anyway, well, naghintay na lang kami ni Doc at mabuti naman naayos na yun gusot ni Rheg about his suit. Kahit 5pm na kami umalis eh ok na yun kaysa iwan si Rheg. Hahaha Papunta naman ng Tagaytay eh medyo madali, kaunti trapik sa Osmeña Highway tapos deretcho na. Di ko matandaan when ang huli punta ko dito, pero parang mashock ako mamaya pag nalaman ko na. hehe Malamig pa din at grabe, dami na talagang tinayo na lugar dito.

Nahirapan kami hanapin yun Inn na tutulugan namin. Muntikan pa kami mapuntang Cavite kung di kami tinawagan nung contact naming sa Inn. Hehe 3 hours later, nasa Inn na kami.

Sobrang lamig, at sana nagdala kami ng jacket. I mean ako pala. Maganda yun Inn, lalo na sa price na pang 6 na tao for one night? Not bad. Of course, after a long journey, at di naman kami kumain masyado on the way, malamang kakain na kami. Gutom na kami. Haha

So, as suggested ni Doc eh doon sa dati namin kinainan. Yun bulalohan na kinain namin nung nasa HSBC pa ko. After shift noon, nag road trip kami ng Tagaytay tapos yun bagsak namin. May isang resto na puro hut at maganda sa view ng Tagaytay, malamig pa at masarap ang bulalo! Hahaha

Well habang hinahanap namin yun, aba, ano ano ang mayroon dito. Madaming hotel, may condo na SMDC, starbucks na di lang isa at higit sa lahat, Skyranch with the big ferris wheel. Maraming pa din tao kahit gabi na! Well, we don’t have time na mamasyal that time. Maybe next time perhaps. Kala ko nawawala kami pero magaling si Doc, aba narating namin yun resto.

Wow! Sa labas pa lang, eto yun dati namin kinainan nung nasa HSBC pa ko. Pero naglevel up na. hahaha Natandaan ko yun ang resto kasi yun sa gitna parang kubo style tapos pag pasok mo eh yun mga dwaves na figures with Snow white eh nasa hagdanan pa din. Pero yun baba, di na puro kubo, parang building/resto type na! Aba matindi! Hehe Pag akyat namin, eh yun waiter, todo gara ha. Naisip ko dati, parang di naman ganun. Yun mga waiter eh simple tshirt and pants. Now, wow, waiter ang suit. Hehe Eto ang nakakaloko, aba dati, kahit saan kahit yun malapit dun sa view ng tagaytay na kubo pwede umupo.. Pero ngayon, aba akalain mo may price na kailangan gastusin bago ka makaupo sa gusto mong view. Yun maganda view, grabe, 2500 kailangan mo iorder! Haha Yun pwesto namin 1250 lang, carry naman, 5 kami. Kahit yun loob nagbago, maliwanag at maayos, at may malaking menu na sila. Di na lang, bulalo lang ang order. Hehe May iba’t iba klaseng bulalo at iba pang order, which gaya ng krispy pata at iba pang ulam.

Well, kailangan naming umorder ng aabot sa 1250, so mabuti si Tin eh naisip agad kung ano iorder, so ayun na. Special Bulalo tapos crispy pata, one plate ng rice, tawilis at coke. Si Rheg di makapaniwala na well, Green ATS na pala ang name ng resto na ito at medyo class na. Akalain mo, after 8 years, medyo high end na dating nila. Hehe

Dumating na yun fuds at masarap yun bulalo! Sulitin na to. Hahaha Bihira na ko kumain pa at what’s more sa malamig na Tagaytay! Kaya sulit! Yun crispy pata, di nga lang cripy. Hahaha Nalamigan siguro dahil sa weather. But, overall sulit naman binayad namin, at dagdag pa yun view na san kami kumain. Mabalikan nga sa susunod! Hehe

Hanggang sa pag alis naming sa resto, si Rheg eh di pa din makapaniwala. Kahit kami naman ata. Hahaha

Pagbalik namin sa Inn, ako eh nahiga na. Sarap matulog sa ganun eh. Hehe Si Rheg at Khaye aba eh kwentuhan pa din, si Doc at Tin, ehem, preparing for their near wedding! Hahaha Toxic sila. Makikita mo talaga.

Surprisingly, I fell asleep and yeah, woke up early!!!!

Ahhhh, masarap ang may water heater sa banyo! Hehe Call time ata sa hotel was round 7am para daw sa pic with Igz. So kaming boys eh kailangan magayos ng maaga at pumunta na sa Hotel Kimberly. Ah yes, dun ang reception ni Igz.

Of course, medyo ligaw kami pero thanks sa google maps at kaunting tanong sa locals eh nakarating kami maayos. Pagbaba namin ng kotse at papunta sa entrance ng hotel, aba eto si Igz sakto start na pictorial pero mukhang galit. Hahaha Parang intro sa WWE. Hehe Wala naman siyang kaaway. He should be happy or maybe the happiest person in the world that day. =)

Well, habang hinihintay namin matapos yun solo pictorials niya, marami na palang guests na nandun, kasama sa entourage. I’m just looking around sa hotel at not bad for hotel located in a residential area ha. Yun laki niya di naman kakalula pero fresh tignan, maybe it’s just yun area na di nakalibot sa malalaking buildings unlike here.

So, kaya pala kami invite ni Igz na maaga, aba magpicture pala kami with him para sa AVP. Ang shot daw eh nagkakatuwaan kaming apat tapos kulitin daw si Igz. Edi batukan natin. Hahahaha Sorry Igz.. It went well naman.

After that, balik kami ng Inn tapos sinundo namin yun girls and went off sa Lourdes Church. Yes, Lourdes Church sa tagaytay na first time ko makikita at makapagsimba despite, well Lourdesian ako here. Hahaha Maganda pala ang church ng Lourdes sa Tagaytay! Bigger than here and maganda sa umaga. Parang fresh ang feeling pagnagsimba dito. I don’t know, that’s my view of it. Pero naisip ko parang sa dami ng marriage bans nakalagay dito, dami nga talaga nagpapakasal because of that fresh feeling. Kahit malayo pa to, malamang ito din isa sa mga pipiliin ko lugar para ikasal. Haha

After some preparations, eh eto na nagstart na yun kasal. Sa sobrang excited ni Igz, nasa half pa lang ng aisle si Shayne, aba sinundo na! hahaha Oh first time, akalain mo nasa entourage na ko! After a number of weddings na napunta ko, aba kasama na talaga ako sa entourage. Hehe Bible bearer pa.

The wedding started and of course, mass na din, as usual, it is long yet well, lovely. Just staring the couple fronting the altar. Both excited, both in love in front of all. =) Love is indeed a many splendid thing. Of course, may mga fun and lovely parts naman sa wedding.

First of all, of course yun speech ni Igz na hanggang ngayon or even after the AVP, he needs it with subtitles. Hehe Pero that shows how honest and sincere feeling he has for Shayne with love. Aiyee!!! Hahahaha Another one, bago lumakad si Igz, aba grabe mangasar si Rheg kay Igz, ikakasal na nga, may inalaglag pa. hahaha Isa pa, eh well, yun ring vows eh another moment ni Igz, pero more understable at siyempre si Shayne, lovely din yun mga sinabi niya. It’s weird and funny kasi maganda naman ang sinabi ni Shayne, very lovely and sincere at makikita mo yun Joy and Love. Kay Igz, tears of Joy and Love. Ang sweet nila.. Siyempre, don’t forget yun last part, they kissed together! =)

After all yun pictures and yun flying balloons part eh deretcho na siyempre sa favorite kong part, reception!!!! Eat na to! Hahaha Siyempre, alam na naming ang shortcut at di na kami maliligaw. Hahaha Pag gutom eh siyempre palalampasin pa namin to. Hehe

Reception is great, the place itself looks grand at di naman crowded although marami pa din ang approx. of 150 guest pero di naman dikitan. Sandali lang ang delay before magstart ang program, at yun na. Start na ng program hosted by two of Igz’s friends. Good MC’s by the way.. As usual, the wedding reception routine, cut the cake, drinking of wine, well walang dove flying but… Yun part na pinalipad ang butterfly is kinda sweet and yun speech ni Igz dun nakakatouch kasi of course as close friends, dami nila pinagdaanan and as much they want to invite all the special people, they can’t come sa very special occasion na ito. Very well thought speech..

Anyway, siyempre, bago kumain picture muna with the lovely couple! Tapos, kainan na!!! Yahoo!!! Wala na diet diet! Hehe Sira na diet ko nito. Ang sarap lahat, well, except for some desserts, pero yun mga dishes, panalo!! From pasta, rice, yun beef dish, tapos may kaunting seafood, actually natikman ko lahat kasama pa yun lechon. Hahaha At least, dito, crispy yun lechon. Nakakatawa pa eh nandun pa yun isang batch naming from HS si Mark, nagkwentuhan kami about ano ginagawa niya and well, living in the south. Maganda yun suggestion niya ha. Hahaha

Of course, di mawawala ang hate kong part, singles game. Hahaha The only way I could get out of those games, well I should get married as well. Hahaha Simple lang yun game, but anyway, despite such result eh ok lang yun, darn I just want to end and go home and rest. =) Sakto eh habang patapos yun program, nakapagpicture pa kami sa booth and maganda yun mga kuha.. Sana may kopya nga ko! Hehe Kaso until now, tinamad na ko kumuha ng copy.

Nakapagpaalam na kami with the lovely couple and went home.. A big sigh in our end. Tapos na at what important is, Iggie is now happily married with Shayne. Sabi nga ni Rheg, sabi ni Igz before, simple lang yun wedding at di magiging mahirap for guests to visit or witness the wedding. Well, time’s change and priorities change. Hahaha Despite the difficulties we need to face, or even some sacrifices eh worth it naman, especially Igz is like a brother to us, a very close brother to us. Yun lang sakripisyo niya to prepare a place for us in bad times and good times, eh lagi siya available. Hahaha Kahit walang handa, basta yun lugar niya available, ok lang sa kanila tambay. Tapos don’t forget the infinite times he’ll drive for us, especially in get together ng CRAP, siya gumagawa at dagdag mo pa yun times na he gives effort to help us, lalo na in dire times. Hahaha At don’t forget, times he needs to cook great food to us, even with less preparations! Hehe Oh kahit advise lang na pupunta kami, iisip na yan na iluluto. Haha

Marami pang beses na nagawa si Igz for us, of course di naman siya perfect, I mean he has own weaknesses or faults pero that’s understandable. Important is, he’s done a lot for us and there will be no P in CRAP right? =) At least di na siya architect! Hahaha

Yun advise ko for the couple? Well, nasa card na pinafill out nila sa amin. Hahaha For Igz and Shayne, I know you heard all kinds of messages sa wedding kaya I’ll make this simple as it is.

Just like the butterflies we saw, fly together with love! =)

After that, ayun, we went back sa inn fast at nagbiyahe na kami agad. Well, it’s December at ayun, traffic! Lalo na sa pesteng Sta. Rosa at SLEX. Peste talaga. Hahaha Napakain pa kami pauwi. Pero thanks to Doc, Tin, Rheg at Khaye, this journey together went smoothly despite some odds. =)

How time flies fast? Hmmmmm Eto, sa bilis ng panahon, two of my closest friends get married at sa di ko ma-explain na dahilan, dikit ang kasal nila! Parang pinagusapan pa nila! Hahaha. But well, special kasi sa kanila yun dates kaya malamang yun pinili nila for the wedding.

I haven’t got yun long sleeves and coat. Much worse, black, white or pink ang Motif kay Igz, strictly Black and White daw kami kay Doc kasi sa entourage. Good Lord! Haha So, after a week of preparing and thinking, eh nakabili na ko ng coat and a new white long sleeves. I swear that tama na to, magastos eh. Hehe

Within the week, as much I’m prepared, eh unfortunately may sakit pa ko, weird that I’m getting coughs and colds non-stop at matagal pa! Grabe.. I even ended up, resting for the whole week. After getting my med cert, aba pinauwi ako kasi kailangan ko pa daw kumpletuhin ang rest and antibiotic! Bawas sweldo! Erghh.. Sagad na kasi yun SL ko for this year. =(

Anyway, I took this chance to take a rest and well, reminiscing those days of CRAP. From the days we first like get together, booze nights or even poker nights, saan saan na kami pumunta, movie nights na nakakatawa or nakakatuwa. Kain lang ng kain hanggang walang katapusan. Hehe Or even, simpleng kwentuhan lang, mapatambay sa min, kina Rheg or kay Doc, eh lalo na kina Igz na official CRAP tambayan. Hahaha

Well, I took this time to really rest, as I had really stress for the past months and worrying a lot about my health, other stuff and of course work, dagdag pa to. Hehe I don’t know, it’s just me who will kinda left behind. Alone. A long time.

Sa dami ko iniisip or even doing something na to prepare and just killing time.. I’m happy that may nahanap na silang path to have their own family. It’s not easy to decide on that. I mean kay Chef Igz, after all the ruckus happened, eh akalain mong siya ang una mag aasawa! Hehe Preparations for him seems to be undaunted, chill lang. hehe As long nasa plano, ok na at ayun nga, di naman siya nagkaproblema. Seeing him with Shayne and see him that much happiness is enough for me to say that he’ll be fine that it will be a new life for him and her of course.

For Doc naman, what can I say?! For the longest time, naghiwalayan na ang mga gf naming tatlo, sila ni Tin hindi! Hahaha That speaks a lot! No joke that they were able, I mean withstand everything in well 8 years lang naman. Hehe Through those years, we saw them grow together, or sometimes fight together. Hahaha Of course, siyempre, love together. =) Si Doc, talagang pinakita niyang mahal niya si Tin all throughout as he changed a lot for her. One great example, eh yun palabiro, nagpapatawa na si Doc! Ah sorry, wrong example. Very patient na si Doc! Hehe Dati kaunting mali or delay, medyo mainitin na, ngayon, akalain mo patience na ha. I mean siguro in his profession pero may mga doctor ako nakita, kung hindi nagmamadali, eh aba galit pa. Or worse, nakasimangot.

Si Doc eh hindi naman. Another example, aba naging creative ha. Hmmm from birthday hanggang proposal surprise eh si Doc nakaprepare lagi, even for this wedding. Ah.. Well, he had a hard time sa wedding, lalo na yun mga time na parang 50 pesos na lang ang baon niya per day. Hehehe Patay tayo diyan! At laging parang naghahabol siya as the wedding comes near.. Geez, let’s see kung lahat na sakripisyo nila ni Tin eh worth it at the time of their wedding. 

Friday came, at hay naku si Rheg, nadelay pa ang kanyang suit at nung narinig ko boses ni Doc na malakas na, tahimik na ko…

Hiatus series: Reformat

Noong mga panahon eh ok na ko at yun kwarto ko eh kaunti na lang ang tulo pero inaayos pa din.. Nabalik na lahat ang gamit ko and starting again from blogging, at surfing and some things sa computer ko. DOTA nga muntikan ko na makalimutan. hehe At thanks to my external HDD eh mukhang maayos naman.

Well, a problem came.. A simple yet a big problem.. 

Take note, this is the reason why you should really turn off your computer properly. 

A lesson learned in a very hard way! hahahaha Mom well, nakikigamit siya ng computer and Gerro of course, pero nung una ok naman. Kaso noong isang araw, hala.. Pag bukas ko ng computer, nag error na, press this to start windows normally or this para magstart for confirguration! I tried ilagay yun CD napanginstall.. Ayun, paikot ikot na. =(

Hanggang sa may milagro nangyari, nakarating ako ng home page and stuff.. Kaso nung pinatay ko ulit at nag-on.. Naloko na.. Di na makatsamba. hehe Bad trip! Oh well, after some advise galing sa iba, mukhang no choice na ko..

I need to reinstall and reformat again. Hay naku! Well... Bad news is, siyempre yun settings mo ok na, mawawala, files at programs na nakalagay eh malamang wipe out at higit sa lahat yun mga download ko na bago, wala na din. good job. hehe

Great news is.. Dito natest ang back up plan ko! hahaha Well, kuha muna ako ng matinong win7 tapos yun office ko pala eh palpak na din.. At mabuti na lang natago ko yun mga drivers para sa mobo at videocard and usb3 din. At higit sa lahat, yun mga programs na importante like DOTA eh buhay pa. hehe

So, no choice na ko at tanggap ko na kailangan ulitin lahat, kahit yun mga blog ko eh nabura na din kaya ulit na naman ako sa count. Erghh.. Some days later, ok na. Eto na balik na computer ko! At mukhang mas mabilis pa.. 

Parang natetempt ako gawin ulit pag tagal since una sa ibang driver ko naman ilalagay ang mga files ko kaya pag nasira ang C, no problem at may back up pa ko. Drive D is the way! Pangalawa eh yeah may backup. hehe At huli, educational, natuto na ko kahit mag saving point ng system settings and paano mag install ulit. Whew, mabuti talaga may backup. Kaya kayo, mag backup!

At least mga 70% na nawala eh nabalik ko ulit agad. Kailangan mataasan ko pa yun in the future. 

One of the reasonse why for quite a long time, I was on a hiatus. Sometimes, this just happens. 

Always have a back up plan! =)

Nawala pala yun DOTA 2, well download na lang ulit. hehe

Eye of the Beholder

I looked at my wrist band, actually staring at it for a longer time...

Whirlwind of thoughts running into my head, such as "what I'm doing here?" or "How long will I stay here?", "Will there be complications or will I survive?"

"Can I go home and get my long rest?" or "What should I watch later.." "How's the team going without me?" "Darn, how special to be admitted in the hospital for the second time.."

Those thoughts well, they were some but I have more.. Life or death or happy or sad.. Bad or good. Best or worst.

As I continue staring my band, I looked upon the white board which has the name of the nurse on duty and what diet will I follow. Quite informative. The room is quite big, what's more surprising, well it's a lesser package that we as an employee should be getting. Wow, so the real room package is bigger? This room is already huge for me and Mum..

Mum is sleeping, so quietly after doing all she needs to do for just making sure I'm ok and well taken care of. How lovely and sweet is my Mom. Indeed..

She is quite well rested for a while after all that preliminary screening on me and simple rules of my stay. Forms to fill out, buttons to push, how to use the amenities, and who to look for. I kinda love my stay, I don't really feel I'm in a hospital. St. Luke's is becoming my first preferred choice of medical help. Besides, they already saved me many times before this..

Hmmm.. I wonder when that beautiful nurse will come back and check on me. Darn, another reason to have my stay longer. Not only  great looking but accompany that with great service. Prompt, quality and fun service.

I also thinking what to watch in TV. I'm eager to watch since the last time I had cable TV was wayback HS days. I admit that when I watch cable TV, especially at my sister's house, it drains my time due to a lot of information channels, NHK, movie channels and of course, NBA games. Well this time, NBA season is off. I need to wait 'til November. Darn.

Mom wants food network, so yeah just feast my eyes on it. Savor this moment that I could just rest and stay in bed, for a long time.

Although I can rest, but my worries aren't. Of course, who wouldn't worry if your going to be operated in your arse.. Geez, with all those advise that it will be painful and crap, all I do is just sigh.. Oh God, just let this finish.

Despite I worked in a night shift for quite sometime, hmmmm this is the only time that I could really..

Close my eyes where the day close at the same time.

A normal sleep. Night that clams me, not giving stress to me.

Looking forward to the big day.

Notice of Return

Wow, hmmmmm actually.. I almost forgot na may blog pala ako. hahaha

It's almost 3 months from my last post. For those who are following well, if there is any, just wait for my next posts. Let's say simply I got sick. Literally. Grabe ang sakit nadaanan but great thing, it's not really serious.

A lot I've missed noong mga 3 months na yun. I mean, blogging wise. Hmmm I really missed writing, ranting, criticize and wanting. hehe A lot happened despite that condition, good and bad. A lot of realizations, change of plans and most of all, just watching japanese drama. Yes, not Korean or even Walking dead, jdrama. Hai! hehe

I'm sorry I was not able to really complete those missed months, well pahinga din siguro. Sometimes, you need to rest talaga. Even my passion for writing eh nagback track but that's fine. Ok lang pala. I want to write agad after well, that operation but I need really to let's say in hiatus for a while. Set of priorities siguro and lalo na catching up sa work.

For the missed months until this month, eh 15 lang siguro masulat ko. hehe It's sad but well ganun talaga. Bawi na lang ako next year, talagang masunod ang 10 per month. =)

Expect at my next posts are illogical, which I prefer. I'll say yun bago muna then yun luma or vise versa, let's say random series na lang. It is a bore kung talagang I start from the day I stopped then progress until now. Nah.. I don't like that. 

Of course, I won't forget the usual post or usual series.. Siyempre pampadagdag yun sa target. hehe Di naman mawawala yun. Will I tell all? Like always, guess what.. hehe Time flies fast talaga. 3 months is like just a week ago. Geez.. I wonder ganun na ba talaga kabilis ang mga panahon ngayon? 
I miss typing for my blog. Geez, getting tired typing emails or reports.. Statement of accounts. Forget it. hahaha I miss doing this, spontaneous thinking, less to none proofreading and writing at the same time. Even FB, well, parang months na din ako di nakakaconnect. hahaha

Despite I'm online in other apps, not FB. I really missed FB not because of the stuff I put, but the chismax. hehe Yun lang. So, don't worry, I just did not have liking at marami pang nangyari that's why di na ko nag FB. But since nagsusulat na ko and getting my groove back, malamang balik FB. Kahit twitter, eh puro tingin ako, no tweets. hehe

Kung kailan ako gusto mag online sa FB, eto downtime ng DSL. Good job! 

I wonder sana di malakas yun bagyo na yun, at sana di tumama sa xmas party namin. Kala ko naman ngayon pupunta yun bagyo, lintek di pa pala, nadelay pa.

Darn, I should have my weekly movie film fest back. Dumadami na eh. hahaha Time to spoil some treasures. Sorry, I'm not really a Hobbit fan. Or kahit yun hunger games, I think I should watch yun second one first before this new one.

See, I missed a lot. This year is a full of hits and misses. Geez.. Next time I should focus on all those hits!

Lupin III: Live action movie

Noong nakita ko trailer nito sa asianwiki, or kahit yun pictures nila, di ako makapaniwala na gagawin nila talaga to! hehe From Gatchaman, black butler and Hentai Kamen, Kenshin, eto na, Lupin! hehe

Una ko hinanap, not Lupin, or Jigen or Goemon, lalo naman si Zenigata. hahaha But Fujiko, at nalungkot ako. Di hot or kaboom eh. hahaha Will that change after I watch the flick. Let's find out..

Story is simple, eh etong si Lupin at iba pa, members pala sila ng the works, headed by a billionaire Brit na parang Robin Hood ang creed whatever, ends up dead noong naraid sila ng group ni Michael, si Jerry Yan ng F4. Tapos, ayun na, Lupin at Jigen, at well Fujiko, hinahanap nila si Michael para makaganti. Then, sinusundan pa sila ni ICPO inspector Zenigata. At habang naghahabulan sila at hinahanap yun kwintas ni Cleopatra, they discovered from the very start, kung sino talaga may pakana ng lahat na ito. At ako eh nagulat bakit ganun? hahaha 

After more than 2 hours, I must say, it almost epic failed. Almost. Geez, parang Dragon Ball Z movie but nah, di naman ganun level. hehe What did Ryuhei Kitamura do good sa film? By the way, siya director ng Versus, hmmm Azumi not sure, ah Midnight train and recently, No One Lives. Ah, first of all the looks of the actors, mahirap siyempre kumuha na sobrang payat yet mabilis na Lupin, Shun Oguri, pwede na. hehe Si Asano as Zenigata is having a crazy time playing a matabang Zenigata. In the anime, payat rin siya mukhang malaki coz of the coat but here malaki naman si Asano, pero masaya siya at makulit as Zenigata. Pero pinakakuha si Jigen, at Goemon. Inside and Out, perfect sila sa casting hanggang dialogue. hehe Eto, Meisa Kuroki sa Fujiko, hmmm her face may angle na oo nga Fujiko, pero the whole movie, I call her conservative Fujiko. You know what I mean if you do watch yun anime, voluptous, vixen, dangerous, deceptive and loves guns. Wala siya yun first 2. hehe Sorry but ok lang siya. But still not satisfied. Hindi dahil mahirap maghanap ng ganun babae na Japanese. Well, sad to say, there is and the casting crew should have gone look further, marami at madali lang. hehe If the first 3 pwede madala sa acting and some costume, Fujiko should be eye candy, head turner at later yun acting. hehe

Ang isa pang nagustuhan ko, action scenes, not top notch pero enjoyable. Lalo na yun car chases and yun last part na kahit weird and almost like b movie, pero masaya. Ryuhei is indeed an action director. Oh I love the 2 women fighting. hehe How about Jigen vs. Goemon. Fun!

The sad parts almost made this film failed. Kaya pala ang una sabi ni direk when he got interviewed, he hope fans of the material will appreciate the film, pag may ganun senyales pala, medyo magingat na. hahaha

First, dialogue! I mean almost poor written, and mixed language?! Kaya pala sila nacast because they can speak some clear english. Weird but lalo na yun una, grabe nahilo ako kung ito ba talaga, japanese flick, english flick, chinese or international flick. I don't know. 

Second, plot changed well lalo na yun una na may origin agad si Lupin which I think sa series rarely discussed or ang alam ko, magnanakaw agad ito si Lupin. Well, that changed sa film at may group siya. What? hehe I hope they just really followed sa anime na sila na apat, stealing and looting then sumabit type of story. Oh don't forget, yun mga twist and turns that well, not fun. A waste of time, especially yun main villain after what all he did, he is kinda lucky at the end. Erghh.. 

Third, unneccessary characters. Despite Jerry Yan eh scary siya dito at nagulat ako sa role niya, he is damn unneccessary. hahaha Nagpagulo from the original source. How about yun general friend ni Zenigata and that annoying hacker, and  even the main villain. There are many di naman kailangan na character. I preferred Jerry Yan to be the main villain kasi sa una nakakatakot siya pero pagtagal, parang change of heart? Eh?

Lastly, well.. When you watch Lupin, any one episode, or anime movie, you get slapstick comedy, mystery, and action. All balanced, may sobrang kakatawa, tapos mapapaisip ka din, tapos may parts na serious at siyempre action din. This film, very very few comedic shots, mystery is not that challenging or well, twist din. Action is a lot, sa simula hanggang wakas ata, grabe, pero not top notch. So, yun ang nagkaproblem sa film. Lupin should be at least half fun/comedy/action piece, not more action, less fun and more serious. Geez.. Talagang kaunti pa nakakatawa at natawa pa ko sa unexpected character, Goemon?! hehe 

Actually Lupin is more filmable and should be enjoyable unlike the other adaptations pero ito it's just did not work. I hope the next one, well iba gumawa at please spend more time watching Lupin the anime to really get what I mean or most of the fans, that's it's a fun film. Please kahit yun OST makuha man lang or how about make it hmmm 70's setting. Basta ayusin na lang next time. Not too comedic or action packed film, outrageous is a better word. hehe 

And yes, please change the actress of Fujiko. She's a good actress though pero eye candy? Nah. Try for example, Asana Mamouru, wow. hahaha All you need to do is train her to act. Possible. At least yun eye candy effect, sure na. hahaha
