For now, all I can say, sobrang blessed ako for the past two months.
Saka dami ko ginawa in the past weeks. Kasama mo pa ang 4x11 sked ko for the months.. At may ibang pa ako ginawa.. Malinaw na from her operation.
It's sad that I have no news about friends for the past month?! That's how hectic I am. Despite of that not reliant in FB, I think I should check it once a day. hehe Grabe si Steph, 3 point line niya sa half court!!!!!
Well, what else.... I'll just spend the last days at work, being productive! I'll be going into a place
like..
Uncharted.

classics: Amy
"You're wonderin' now, what to do, now you know this is the end
You're wonderin' how, you will pay, for the way you misbehaved"
- a line from a song of Amy Winehouse.
I was going to church earlier and I thought of after hearing some worship songs, I kinda want to listen again to Amy's songs all of the sudden. Why all of the sudden? It's simply because of this epic music documentary. First song I heard from my random play list of Amy's songs, Addicted. Good song before going to church.. =)
Anyway, last night.. After 2 hours of sheer watching this documentary, I kind of teary eyed because of simply, what happened to Amy. I can't believe that all of her time creating songs, the 2 great albums, she has been battling all sorts of demons and struggles. It's a totally unexpected truth shown in this doc about her. I'm shocked, and have more pity to her about what happened and of course, most important thing, the source of her music.. It's mostly on how she deals in her life.
Hmmmm, the only minor flaw I can think of in this documentary was no person, I mean not one scene showing that there was an interview face to face to a person closes to her. Although the style used here was kinda effective and unconventional, I hope at least there was a scene that the director had one on one interview with the people closest to Amy. But like I said, it's a minor flaw and did not really bother me in the whole experience watching this magnificent documentary.
Damn, there were a lot of music documentaries shown, even the Nina Simone's one was kinda great.. But this one, it kinda left a mark on me. First thing why this one I consider a classic. Yes, the unconventional style used in this documentary. Regular or usual style of documentaries were kinda, show scenes of the interviewer and the one who is answering questions, whether it's shown or blurred. Then one question, and the other party answers elaborately then that's it.
Here, none of that happens, although they were but stocked footages and exclusive ones. It's like a montage or abstract style of collecting those answers thru telephone or voice interviews and just synching the pictures or events showing of Amy's life. What an effective way to do documentaries! I hope other directors can follow or at least try it.. Not only for music topics or themes but also in other issues like politics or other themes. Great style and I loved it, and it kept me going and no dull moments.
Another thing, at last, one of the few music documentaries shown how the artist make or create the music. I don't know how the director got these very exclusive footages and material, but damn.. From Frank, to Back to black and the last recording of Tony Bennett, it's all there, although not all songs shown there how she thought of it but the process itself.. It gave a glimpse how she works and the talent she really has. I mean, I can't believe how fast she can think of lyrics while nursing a heart break. Or how about when she was high, still performs that great. I mean, just amazed me how she works and sticks to her principles especially on what she wants to be as an artist.
Third factor, yes, a lot of not only interesting facts showing here but also the whole life of Amy was shown here. I said that because of the dialogues or answers straight from the people close to her. All the people close to her had really a part of her life, like the ex manager, her last manager, then all Amy's past exes, family especially her father.. Then, other artists who first discovered her and some of the important band mates she had. The producers as well like Mark Ronson but he had only a short time in this film. I don't know why.. Even her closest friends with some acquaitances gave the best descriptions.. Don't forget yes, Amy herself gave her answers, unfiltered plus surprising thoughts from her. I was shocked especially her views of living alone in her flat since at age 13 which she was right. hahaha
Last part which I really loved and give this credit to the director and the editor and the whole team, the mood of this film. It has depth and it struck my heart, it's like watching the Taxi of the Dark Side or Gasland.. They were able to have the emotions of Amy reached the viewer. Here how it went, first part of the documentary, it was all fun, crazy and greatness until that Grammy winning scene.. But when the part start showing how Amy was on the verge of self destruction, I was devastated as well. I was shocked to see that at that time, it's like she knew the day will come to end for her. I don't want to spoil what was that scene, but it's easy to identify it once you see this film. I had mixed emotions like scared, pity and sad. That goes on until to her very untimely demise.. One great example, was her last concert appearance in Serbia which she did not do anything and refused to perform.. That scene, I know it's like a waste but you'll see why she did not do it.
After the film and of course, no question about the OST, they used some unreleased songs and raw recordings which were great, I understand now why Amy Winehouse acted like that. Like one of her songs, Help Yourself, she simply did not help herself despite everybody around her done their best to save her. Unfortunately, she had a lot health and emotional issues carrying inside her. Then, add that pressure from the public who wants more of her, or I mean like that enigma they want to see or hear more from her which she doesn't want. That's right, one great fact in this film you'll know that she doesn't want popularity that much. Of course, she wants to earn but the reason she wants to do music was really to show all of her with that very innate strong vocal voice. Until her end, she is still thinking what songs to do or what lyrics or style to do even she was uncontrollable. What struck me the most of all she said in the this film was the last one.. It's like she will exchange everthing just to walk normally outside of her home, she would do it. She just want a normal life and of course, have famous songs in her name. She most focus really in her music, like for instance in that last great recording with Tony Bennett.. I mean that scene, Tony said what they did at the first take was perfect, but Amy said, no, I kinda slipped and want to do it again.. Tony was shocked and yes, after that was the one shown in her music video with Tony. Wow, that's how great she is. Very passionate in her art and everybody really adored for that, not that weird bee hive or tatooes in her body or even the addictions..
It's really the music she did. I mean, the first I heard of her, I was shocked that she looks like that! My vision of her was a very strong black woman.. But no, she looks like a rock gooddess with that very jazzy and soulful voice.
Of all the modern artist of today, she stood out for me because of not only her looks but also the music itself. I mean, despite making only 2 albums... Those were instant classics and indeed, special ones. That's why I have a special playlist under her name in my music player app.. In those two albums, she had songs in all types, pop, some what reggae and ska, rock, dance and yes, some jazz and ballads.. Other artists will take like many albums to be versatile in those genres.. For her, it only took 2 albums. =)
She's a legend indeed. Yeah, same level with Nina perhaps. I know many will disagree but for me, that's how good she is. Making jazz and her distinct voice mixed with her emotions and at the same time.. All those struggles turned into a great music.
Despite what happened to her and after watching this documentary.. I appreciate her music more than ever. I encourage not only for her fans but any music lover or even those who don't know her..
Give Amy a shot and surely, you'll love her.. =)

Deadpool
Wow, after almost 2 hours of watching this flick.. Two things I learned. First, Ryan Reynold's career will be revived. Another thing, it's going to be like Iron Man 1 or Dredd film feeling. So damn right hero flick! hahaha After the first trailer shown last year, I was curious that Marvel will release a foul mouthed, violent hero flick?! Another surprise to me, was this anti-hero, it's a fan favorite which I don't have an idea of. That says, I'm kinda not really into comic book world these days or perhaps years. Although I love how he looks, I almost mistaken this hero to Snake Eyes or Spawn.
Anyway, no idea, but what I know, Ryan Reynolds will be it and he's on the slump for the past years, especially got married so hmmmm he needs a big break. After watching a lot of teasers, commercials, spots and red band trailers.. Long and behold, the time has come.
Although it has some big flaws. Like Iron Man 1, it has really a weak villain. I mean, sorry to spoil but it just after Deadpool met him and got what he wanted, no other clues or whatsoever how the villain done it. Damn.. But I love the actor, gotta watch Transporter Refueled even it's bad. hehe Another big flaw, yes, even it was shown very unconventional hero flick, the last parts were kinda generic. Geez, I hope there were different or unusual but yeah, the setting of the last parts and how the plot went.. Just generic including Gina Carano's character. She's stronger than the main villain! hehe Weird. Anyway.. I forgot the other thing, it has a lot of great action scenes but I felt, it can do more of it.
Don't worry, I haven't told of course, not only good but great parts of the film! First great part, I can't believe how much creative freedom they got by just looking at that opening sequence! I was shocked and can't help wonder, what will I be watching? hehe But believe me, just follow what it says, and it's true. That's all I can say. Another thing, speaking of the opening sequence.. I loved the editing for this film. It's not really the usual hero origin stuff, I mean they shown like a crazy plot sequence so audience won't be like bored or kinda pre emptive the film as it progresses. I loved how it presented the 3/4 parts of the film. Very unusual yet very satisfying! The use of CGI in this film, very sync. I mean, a lot of super hero films where they used CGI very rushed but in this film, it's quite real. Case in point? Colossus! At last, a very great presentation of that hero and I liked his portrayal. I had fun and can't believe that dude was in CG.
Another great thing, the cast of this film. Even Gina Carano is good at this film, even her character was not in form and yes Ed Skrein, that dude, kinda looks and acts good in screen huh. How about the main cast? Deadpool's land owner very caring but high. haha Wade's bar owner best friend, kinda wisecracking and I felt he's really his best friend despite bad mouthing Wade. How about Wade's girl? Without those, ehem scenes, she's just right in the role. Lastly, Ryan Reynolds! I mean, at last, he can stick to this character for a long time and he's like what Robert Downey did in Iron Man. Ryan nailed it and he'll be Deadpool for a very long time!!! I know he followed the script well, but some of it, I felt he improvised those lines. Damn, I can't believe he's a good comedic actor. Well, I knew his roots were comedy but I can say Deadpool is attached to Ryan. No one else. The body, physical skills and the cracking of jokes, definitely nailed it!
Yes, the last thing made this film great, was the screenplay/script! I can't think of a superhero flick, what more of a graphic novel adaptation in a film, that I really laughed out loud! I knew audiences got some great laughs at some of the scenes, but for me, some of the crude jokes or references, I got it right away. Especially one great example, the last scene when Deadpool visited Xavier's school, he spoke the line why he got only those two to help him.. I was laughing. hehe And Deadpool's choice of songs and OST then his jokes not only about the story but the studio, his past ehem roles, even Hugh Jackman! I mean, it's like watching and stand up comedy hero action flick. Damn, Deadpool won't just stop talking! hahaha He gave puns left and right, front and back, every part of the film. Geez. hehe
This film, proves that Marvel can do good when it comes to dark themed or adult themed comics. I mean they were able to do it in Blade then that's it. They tried it in Ghost Rider but they went to the safe route. In Punisher, they can't hold together. They tried it with Spiderman, it went awry.. I mean, I'm not asking they do it in all their characters like what DC's going to do, but some characters, they just need to do it in the most correct way or real way. Look at Daredevil/Jessica Jones, despite I'm not watching those series but with the snippets I'm seeing, they are doing right. So Marvel, I hope they do a lot of these flicks.. I hope Deadpool, won't be their last!
The post credits? Oh, the 80's dudes will love this. I did not get it at first but I just remembered... It came from one of the legendary teen flicks! Yes, this film has a lot of references from old and new flicks.
It's almost a classic but it just fell short due to character development and yes, he's very anti hero. Like the last fight scene, after that serious talk of Colossus, then he just.. Anyway, it's very unconventional and fun. =)
Oh yes, please, do not bring your kids, by any chance or any rate let them peak this film. Please.. Even 16 year olds, do not watch this. Stay away!!!!
"Let's make some f*cking chimichangas!!!"

Biri Gal
All she does, party in a gyaru outfit with her friends and have fun. Very simple girl with not a very bright mind as well.
Let me say, nung nakita ko yun first trailer, di ko trip talaga pero after I started to watch it aba, I got hooked! Very underrated film. First factor eh simple yet very inspiring. By the way, yun goal niya eh makapasok sa Keio Uni.
The actors! Very underrated actress siya. Very ehem.. Surprising. hehe Di halata. Galing niya.. Siyempre ang huli, as Sayaka si Arimura Kasumi. Hmmm honestly, di ko siya type, even lagi ko siya nakikita sa mga jdramas or films. Payat niya, tapos yun face niya, very typical compared sa other stars. Naportray niya ng tama as Sayaka saka yun chemistry nila ni Sensei panalo as student and teacher.
I won't be surprised, baka itagalog pa ito dito or nasa Eiga Sai.. hehe Pero definitely, must see! Kakainspire para sa mga students or people, who lose hope or dreams. Basta importante, may determination at siyempre, kahit ilang support lang.. Pwede na. =)
You'll pass with flying colors in life indeed. hehe

The actors! Very underrated actress siya. Very ehem.. Surprising. hehe Di halata. Galing niya.. Siyempre ang huli, as Sayaka si Arimura Kasumi. Hmmm honestly, di ko siya type, even lagi ko siya nakikita sa mga jdramas or films. Payat niya, tapos yun face niya, very typical compared sa other stars. Naportray niya ng tama as Sayaka saka yun chemistry nila ni Sensei panalo as student and teacher.
I won't be surprised, baka itagalog pa ito dito or nasa Eiga Sai.. hehe Pero definitely, must see! Kakainspire para sa mga students or people, who lose hope or dreams. Basta importante, may determination at siyempre, kahit ilang support lang.. Pwede na. =)
You'll pass with flying colors in life indeed. hehe
flashbacks: #EDSAmayforever
Nauuso na walang forever phrase these days..
Hehe Just want to check it out kasi nag email eh. Edi, try another route..
Good job ang bus. Tapos another 15-20 mins gumagapang yun bus from Aurora, tapos sa Sogo/MRT station hanggang P.Tuazon.
Hahaha I don't want to waste more effort. Anyway, mas mahaba yun abang ko sa Cubao than the meeting itself.
Anyway, umuwi ako thru MRT at siyempre, mas madali.
Or well, another shortcuts avaialble. Good job! hahaha
Well, all not lost sa problem na to at sana yun susunod na presidente natin may concrete solution dito. Sana lang, long term ha.
Ok naman EDSA pag walang trapik, gaya pag Sunday. hehe Kung ganun ba araw araw, aba kahit saan pa work ko at pupunta ako sa south na walang problema, why not di ba?
Kaso for now, parang forever ang trapik dito EDSA. Forever and ever... =(

Shaider V Mask Rider Black!

Sa weapons or fighthing style, talo si Kamen Rider Black! hehe Well, wala naman siya baril like Shaider.. Even a cool motorcyle like Blue Hawk, kahit dalawa kay Black eh di naman lumilipad.
Opening and Ending song, parang tabla. hehe I mean yun opening credits, I mean, mahirap yun kay Shaider dahil yun ending credits niya shooting from above! Tapos yun opening credits may budget. hehe Pero kay Black kahit budget lalo na yun closing credits, eh swak naman yun opening at ending songs sa ginawa nila. So, ok yun!
Kasi di naman siya malakas pero nakakalusot siya di ba? hehe I mean, parang mirror yun story niya sa real life na if there are some struggles inside and you want to save others, then continue to save others until mawala yun struggles mo. Not bad naman.
Kahit I'll go to Kamen Rider Black, pero di naman nagkakalayo yun Shaider. Lalo na yun mga weapons niya saka action sequences mas astig di ba? hehe Si Black naman, yun story saka yun paano siya magchange matching umuusok na palad. hehe Ah yes, avoid RX kasi parang naging pambata talaga. hehe
Two series, bring back those childhood memories that way back then.. Always thinking, how cool are those heroes?! Matching with the poses pa. hahaha

Eye of the Beholder
"Creating a brillant connection for everyone"
- Not the exact phrase, showing in the wall..
As I lean to a wall facing that phrase, I can't believe I'm just staring that wall and looking 2 columns of agents taking calls in a very queing day. What a refreshing feeling. A new role for me even I'm just a stand in for a SME who was on leave.
I still can't believe I was given a role for an interim SME. All of the sudden.. To tell you the truth, I was given this role since, ehem last month. A great blessing. A great start for the year. After all those days that I pushed myself just to survive or just to get more pay due to OT's, maybe my performance shown not only for a surviving CSR but an outstanding one. Wow, after those grueling months, one day my TL told me, I'm nominated to be an interim SME with a great chance to be a full time one.
A week later, I am guiding newbies in the immersion phase. Wow!! First time in my call center life experience that it dawned upon me. But honestly, I did not expect this. I don't know what my TL was thinking about me. Hmmmm maybe I just want to give my best shot at work so I won't be bothered by low scores or DAP's in my files.. I just here to perform and contribute to the team. Even the team was crumbling and the scores were done, I continued to perform and work. Worked hard to be exact.
Despite some troubles I faced after I finished training, I kinda just learned the ropes of the account and process then yes, get the brains out of those SME's which I ended up in the end, same level with them. Not to brag or something, it made my job a bit easier and fast...
I admit I really did not expect this because my scores in December were bad that I only passed one metric, my FCR7. NPS also good but not enough to pass their high NPS passing score. And yeah, when January came, I'm just thinking when can I get out.
However, all of the sudden, when everything was decided.. I got this role. Wow.. Yes, that's really a wow for me. Awesome!!! I thought about it when I was in training and just looking at them how they do the job and role.. I never like applied for it especially when you have those so-so stats. But when I started to teach those newbies some tricks and tips, I felt I can do this for some time right?
Running across the floor and go to somebody who is asking for help. Approving credits. Giving BOH access.. Advising this and that for instructions. Approving Trouble Tickets. Joining with other SME's and chatting each other.. Greeted by OM's or other TL's, even surprised other TL's who were just my TL in training months ago!
Yeah, they were surprised, even my few batchmates left with me.. I also got myself that shocked that I'm doing this. That's how unexpected I am for this position. I'm grateful to him that although, I'll be in a different path soon.. My last days are spent some in this kind of position.
Making sure all CSR's are calibrated on how we deal our customers and how we make sure, they don't freaking call us back!!!!
Yes, soon.. Even my future is kinda promising here, a lot of positions available.. Then add the other office or in house positions available.. Then I heard a gossip that I might be promoted without going into a gruesome interview..
I need to go away. Let's say.. Finishing and putting an end to a career that saved me for the past decade. Yes, I know it's hard but like they say..
I need to get out to this freaking comfort zone..
Oh I'll just go to an agent who is raising her hand!!! Wait!!!!
