Si Cotto ayaw naman kasi mahirap nga naman bumaba ng timbang. Marami pa pwedeng kalabanin wag lang muna Marquez or Mayweather.
Pagtuloy sa April at nanalo ako, siguro magiisip na ko magretire, tama na yun nagawa ko, 8 titles in 8 different divisions, pwede na! hehe Pero siyempre, maganda kung may retirement fund. To have a retirement fund, I'll fight Marquez muna kasi malamang mas mataas na sa $20million na makukuha ko.. Pero siyempre para sa pinoy kaya dapat manalo na ko. hehe At ang huli, si Mayweather, kasi since natalo naman ako malamang papayag na siya lumaban sa kin. Kahit anong tests, condition, kahit sige, sa kanya ang PPV, basta $40-$50 million bayad, ok na! Although of course, medyo mahirap yun kasi susunod na talo ko, pero kung aabot sa ganun ang bayad, why not! hehe But I'll defeat him, I know I can. Naks! Di na ko gagawa ng films, or even TV shows, concerts or even game shows or kahit kumanta. Focus na lang sa boxing. Di na ko makikinig sa iba na di ko gusto at wala akong talent! hehe
Di na ko magcongressman, di kasi ako nakakafocus sa boxing.. Sabagay, tatakbo naman yun kapatid ko at si Jinkee kaya kung gusto nila yun, sila na lang. Magpapahinga na lang ako at isipin na lang kung ano mabuti para sa family at sa iba. Maginvest sa mga tamang business at wag masyado sa gastos, bawas at wala na din ang balato! hehe Aayusin ko na lang yun boxing promotion ko at tayo ako ng boxing gym, at discover ng bagong boxing talent.
Gusto ko yun tahimik na buhay na after boxing or tumulong sa iba thru NGO or sariling foundation. At tuloy na tuloy healthy ang lahat.
Hihintayin ko na lang na malagay ako sa Boxing Hall of Fame, karangalan di lang sa akin, kundi para sa buong Pilipinas! =)

I thought it will be 4 months, but unfortunately, it took me 7 months to get a glimpse of this magnificent part of the series. I just watched the movie with clear home copy with almost accurate subs, but damn before I watched it, I rewind a particular scene and see it all over again many times in a day.
That scene, I know it's not accurate or did not really show in the TV series or Manga, but that I can say, made him my fave anime idol of all, always! =)
Anyway, yeah after that short Golden Arc 1, you'll go of course to part 2 which is Battle for Doldrey. It's longer and I can say better!
There were some not so good parts in the flick. Let's say as a fan of the series, of course, you will see a lot of misses. One, they missed a lot of characters which I know it's not really important but I believe they shouldn't remove it because it's integral to the story. Like Samson which he's not there, the queen b*tch and her cohorts who tried to kill Griffith, and some parts of the story as well, especially the first time that Guts and Caska really have feelings each other. Not there well, it will show at part 3 as trailer suggests.
And yes, as much I love how Guts killed General Boscogne, I missed that real reason why he was able to kill that General. It's not there.
Meaning, those major flaws as much I missed them, really I felt they could have insert those parts or scenes in this flick. For me, they were important because it will show the wholeness of story, it will not only show Guts story but the whole band of hawk story. But for me, after all the action and grotesque scenes, I'm quite happy with the turnout. I accepted that they maybe don't have not only funds even it's produced by Warner Bros. Japan but also, time constraints and yeah, they want to see if this will earn so they will make more of the following arcs.
I hope the following once even they might omit again some characters or side stories, I hope they don't omit the major characters or even entities or maybe the violent scenes or situations. They can lessen the violent and controversial themes but not the whole dark fantasy concept.
Cut the crap, let's go to what I'm saying earlier, why its magnificent? Better than the first one?
One, the animation is more fluid, less choppy sequence which you will determine it's 3D or not. Detailed animation especially those fight scenes and warzone scenes. Even the story is fast paced, the animation is not rushed, although not really good looking because of the mixture of technique but its fun to watch!
Two, voice acting is superb, I mean from the original anime until this movie, never fails. I love the actor who voiced General Boscogne and Governor Gennon, you can sense that they are indeed the bad guys. Gennon is more out in this flick than in the anime. hehe Band of Hawk, King, Charlotte, and even the talkative Adon really shown some voice acting chops. Not bad. Even the script/dialogue, not really great but this one fit for this series.
Three, Music! They emphasis like this is medieval period, some kind of old english period, so the music used in this one, fits with all the classical arrangement they used even to my fave scene, great!
Lastly, great, magnificent, fantastic action scenes that this flick simply put in one of my fave anime movies or any anime. I mean it made the TV series lame! Even I love the series, but this one, since this is a movie, a not constritive rating, hell with censorship.. Blood, gore, dark theme, and action simply in tune for this movie. This is where they did good of having adapting the material in the right way. That's why even they omit some events or characters, as long the major and important parts of the story still there, why would not like this flick? From the scene how Guts became century killer, I love the shot there where he was tired and in slow motion became enraged and sliced them all! Expect a lot of chopped, flying bodies!!! hehe The battle for Doldrey of course, I mean, in detail from the first attack of Midland, until the attack of Band of Hawk, it's really a complete package of war in medieval times especially with war tactics or art of war.
Yes, my fave scene there is Guts vs. General Boscogne, before that it showed how really strong Boscogne is.. From there until he was killed, one glorious sequence! Everytime I remember that, damn I want to watch it again and again. hehe
Bonus one!!! Yeah, it doesn't mean when they omit a lot of characters, they really omit a lot.. I was suprised that there is a scene that shows hmmmm I think they will go all the way if they earn in this flicks. I was shocked that yeah, I'm hoping they do this all the way. Just don't make like the last one will be the 3rd. Damn!!!!!
Yes, the teaser trailer and I saw the whole trailer for Descent which I can say, all will agree, it will be sad, depressing, damned, bloody, scary and most of all, the time we were waiting for, the transformation of both Guts and Griffith. Especially our beloved hero Guts!
Then maybe a glimpse of the real Blackswordsman. Yeah! Ah another thing I was shocked at the trailer, there is one shot that even know I'm thinking, it didn't happen in the Manga or even in the series, although I researched they are really enemies but I don't recall they fought there! hehe Gotta find out.
As batman trilogy closes, Warner Bros. Japan has its own trilogy, this one. Until now, gotta say they've done a wonderful job of recreating even in a fast pace and indeed a bloody one! I hope and pray that Descent, please.. Won't be the last!
Kudos yeah to Studio 4C, Warner Bros. Japan for well, they earned a lot from Kenshin live action, and I hope they did well here.
As much I like the series of Rurouni Kenshin.. or even Himura (actually my fave is his master. hehe)
He can't defeat Guts, even Guts in his band of hawk form, or even a wounded Guts.. Not a chance if Guts in the great blackswordsman form with/without the berserker armor..

Xmas season, even birthdays or any occassions that involves gift giving eh lalo na kung ang bibigyan mo eh bata.. Number one choice is toys! I love toys, who doesn't? Lalo na kung bata.. Naku, lalaruin ng matagal yan o malas lang eh kung masira agad sa sobrang gamit. hehe
But sad thing to see, with the dawn of smartphones, tablets or computer games, PC or console gaming eh parang mahina na o sobrang hina na ng toy sales. Alam ko yun may mga toys eh yun mga collectors, from old toys to new toy editions like Star Wars, superheroes and stuff.
I can see still toy stores but di naman napupuno unlike my childhood years na grabe, everyday when I visit a toy store eh napakadaming bata nagpapakamatay, o minsan nagdradrama ng sobra para lang bilan ng laruan.
Ngayon, mukhang kids want something touchscreen, or worse Ipad. Geez. hehe Paano pa kaya yun board games or traditional games, parang wala na masyado gumagawa. Although yun mga may di kaya, dun na lang nareresort or pc rental na lang kasi mura per hour ngayon. 15 pesos! hehe
Di pa kasama ang FB and the apps, even adults like me drawn to that stuff. hehe Having a toy for me eh malaking tulong sa bata, una sa lahat eh maganda sa toy real yun interaction to his thinking. I mean, yeah apps or computer games can do that as well, pero yun imagination or thinking outside the box, mas nabibigay ng toys kasi nahahawakan at nafeel nung bata. Like for example, eh teddy bear, I mean ipads cannot duplicate the softness and feel the teddy bear. Would you mind holding that dork in your sleep? No! Real one can do that. hehe Or for ladies, Barbie! Sa pamangkin ko, kahit may Ipad4 na eh she prefers doing kikay stuff sa barbie doll. Kahit may mga laro na sa apps to fix yourself, or dress yourself kind of game, in the end.. Mas maganda yun real toy. Dapat nga mura na lang sila ngayon eh, unlike dati, papabili ka pa sa states para sa mga magandang laruan! hehe
Second is yun traditional games or yun games na may kasama ka, foster friendship or competition real time, unlike yun network games, kahit ako naglalaro minsan kakabagot din ha. Kahit may kalaban ka sa kabilang computer di mo naman nakikita or kahit may webcam well.. Iba eh pagnakikita mo yun kalaban mo o team mate sa harap mo, playing against each other and knowing human emotions better than the virtual ones. At excercise din naman siya. Network games, kakaexcercise din, nang daliri at utak. hehe Yun traditional games or sports, lahat! =)
Pero good thing, di naman mawawala ito, I don't think in a lifetime kasi sa infant and childhood years, I prefer them playing real toys than well computer simulated games. Do other activities that can help you a lot and excercise like my Dad always says which di ko lagi sinusunod. hehe
More than that, it excercises responses and it helps the kid move around in the environment unlike sitting for what, an hour?
Toys really give real joy, at least for that kid's playful mind in a mean time. =)
After I finished sending some texts today, I feel quite happy. Friday is really a special day of the week. Sounds like one of the favorite songs from The Cure, which I do, I don't know when I started it but oh well maybe its the end of a stressful week. Other people knows that Friday is the end of a work week, for most work. Its the day that after work, you spend time to enjoy life or simply enjoy rest.
For me, as far I can remember, I enjoy Friday for a variety of reasons. Not only it's the end of a work week but also looking forward of doing my usual stuff, my hobbies after work or simply go around and meet my friends if possible. Friday I think was the day I graduated from College, just tell if I'm wrong. hehe Ah Friday also gives me the rush of love.. I know you should feel love everyday to the people around you, but yeah Friday is quite special. Friday is the day I do most work to avoid piling up work on my restdays, but I'm not feeling tired.
Friday is the day that I play on my playlist all the chillout sounds.. That makes me feel lite and free.. Friday I feel I'm good at work because I want to finish it as soon as possible and get out from it.
Friday is about greeting my family and friends. I feel that Friday is the lightest I have in a week, yeah you can count on Sunday but for me it's Friday. Except if you have bank errands and Friday is a payday, it will be a long day! hehe
Yeah, even I'm quite sad or down in a Friday, I don't feel so. The feeling will go back at weekend but Friday seems I don't have worries. Friday was the day I still remember before, where great parties happened or dates. =) Friday was the day I got an answer from a special someone.
After all the Friday's that I wish it happens everyday, I can't help that yeah the reason why I'm sending these inspirational texts or happy quotes in Friday because I feel love in this day. So blessed and looking optimistic for the following days, weeks or even a month. These days flies so fast that I just count maybe 2 Fridays and I'm shocked that I forget something important to do.

Well, her name is very unique that the only person I know who has the same name, is her. Gertie, hmmmm The only other person or character used this name, one was a animated dinosaur around black and white age. I'll research on that later. hehe Other one, was in the movie Moon but the spelling of that name if I'm not mistaken, Gerty. Not pronounced as well Gertie.
Perceived as others na maganda siya, paano kasi she really takes time to dress herself, kahit sa suki lang siya pupunta. hehe At she chooses the right clothes up to the accessories din. I hope namana ko sana yun kaputian niya. hehe
Most of my friends, siya yun second na kinakamusta after me, maybe because pagpumupunta sa bahay namin, at siya nandoon, very welcome siya at nagaasikaso sa guest. Lalo na pagnapaparty ako sa bahay dati, naku parang di siya napapagod. Eh lalo na sa pagluluto niya, aba yun kanyang mouth watering, ever tasty recipe na russian salad. Nadiscover ko lang yun name sa Conti's with a hefty price tag but they say, Mom's version is better. hahaha Maybe I should that recipe, kahit yun lang alam ko.
Di lang yun, aba marami pa siyang recipes na talagang sabi ko sa kanya she can join the pinoy masterchef contest and try if she can go until the finals. Sa dami niyang alam sa pagluluto, alam niyo naman result nito. 5 overweight and healthy siblings. hehe Sa kanya ko din namana yun very metikuloso sa paglilinis sa bahay. O kahit maayos sa gamit, which di naman lahat naayos ko sa kwarto. hehe Pero well, sometimes she still does the work or even wash clothes kahit sabihan ko na wag na but one day, ayun naglaba na. Of course, di lang naman ako kain ng kain di ba, natuto din ako sa kanya mamalengke at the very young age, around 10 or 11 ba. Basta, dati every morning punta ko sa Muñoz Market para lang mamalengke, kahit ilang kilo pa dalin ko pauwi, ako na! hehe
I can also say, na di siya pwede all the time sa bahay. Very active going out either with friends or relatives or some errands.
On top of that, she's a very loving Mom that I can be proud of. Especially noong nasa skul pa ko, siya yun pumupunta sa meetings or kuhunan ng cards or event na pwede siya. Until I graduated college, she's there smiling and proud na tapos na ko ng skul.
Siyempre di naman nagtatapos dun, after years of working, and yes, difficulties coming left and right, back and forth eh she is still strong despite this broken situation. I honestly say that even she's not the Mom that I thought to be, I still love her. Despite some disagreements o kahit yun tampuhan eh sa huli, kami eh tuloy pa din yun pagsupport at pagtulong sa kanya. Even at times, that I'm alone, which is parang all the time. hehe Naiisip ko yun memories na maliit ako tapos sinasamahan ko siya wherever she goes! I remember noong sinamahan niya ko sa Uncle bob Children's Club show nung maliit pa ko, aba she's cheering out for me at a certain contest tapos after 10 seconds, talo ako! hehe Pero sabi niya after that, ok lang yun.. May next time. We ate outside na after that. I did not feel I lost that game or enjoying that day with that show but important is, Mom is there for me, loving and encouraging me that move on after that.
I know it's impossible for having them together because of such complex issues pero I do understand her part but I hope, she'll learn to forgive and move forward. Think other things that really gives her happiness other than tangible things or money perhaps. Great thing for her, lagi siya nagdadasal at gumagawa ng paraan not only for her, but always kasama kami kahit di na kailangan.
Important is we, the siblings are always here to love her, and give her a feeling that she's our best mom! =)
For me, despite sa mga nagawa niya sa kin o yeah sometimes I can say I was hurt by her.. But now, and how long I'll live.. I always love my Mom. I already forgive her and I want to thank God, for giving us a Mom who is this strong willed and thoughtful as always. Forgive us as well po if we have shortcomings, a lot. hehe Lalo na po sa kin, kaya sana at alam ko na napatawad niyo na ko, at di kayo magsasawa magmahal sa min. Thanks for your love. =) Sorry pala din. hehe
How thoughtful, well hanggang ngayon tinatanong niya kung ano oras pasok ko, san ako and ingat sa paguwi and sorts. hehe Even I thought she can leave me alone but I feel that's how Mom's role to her kids.

QA - Quality Assurance is the meaning of this two letters. It is defined checking quality of your work or call. Of course, the people behind it are called QA specialist, QA supervisor, QA team member or simply QA. They are not your friends when it comes to work. They will be your gatekeepers, your enemies and yes, they will say it's time to go. Although that's the case before, now their responsibility comes down to simply reminding us to keep up the scores. They also assigned to do calibrations of process and coaching to agents. As one of my previous OM says, it's the most boring job in the company. How can't I agree? All you do is to listen to calls of all the agents you are assigned to and evaluate them. Not only that, you will also do some reports and well, scold some agents for poor work. hehe But I love that role, well but the problem is you will not have that many friends in the production floor especially if you're kinda strict. However, as an agent, you need to check this metric.. Because if you don't or you've been careless about your QA scores (some of the centers have QA and NPS seperately), then be worried about staying in your job.
NPS - Net promoter score. A new way of checking how the company really connects to customers by having a scoring system involving promoting the company to others because of the outstanding services they got. Or should I say, for better wording, customer experience! hehe Anyway, this new metric that it used now by almost all big companies are sweeping the industry because of its complexity. I mean, why score people who will say I love this company because of great service, I'll promote this to my family and friends which most of the time not true. Definitely, I believe, this metric won't really convert like those companies believe sales or expanding business to new customers but this. With harsh financial times and competitors doing great marketing strategies other than customer service make this metric simply unbelievable. In fact, for call centers, this metric will be a burden in the future. Remember, this metric is right minus wrong. For example, you get a score a positive 100 in one call but you got a total average of -100 for 3 calls, it's negative score in your NPS and you will need a lot calls to catch up and make it positive. Sad to say for those negative calls even it's not your direct fault why the customer felt that way, unlike QA you can dispute it, this one.. No dispute, it's final. =(

Open door/Open book/transparent policy - Meaning, the center has this policy that you can say whatever you want to say directly to the higher ups. Well, it rarely happens something happened from above doing this as a reaction to a certain problem. But well, because of the diversify nature of this industry and the needed efficiency of the business, they have this.
Higher management - These are the positions that well, manage all down under. Like director, SOM, Call Center manager, Account manager, CEO, CFO, or sounds something executive in the position title, they have authority and they rule. But nice thing about the industry, you can call them just the first name or nickname, or just call them like I do, Boss and then name. hehe
Workforce management/Resource center team - This is the team who responsible checking the headcount of the center. This where all kind of reports are generated from AHT, absenteeism, tardiness, QA, VL, SL and other stuff that the higher ups wants to see. They are also who reminds that if you're in a long call or if you want to set up auxes or meetings and yes, breaks as well. They give you the schedules for your work and determine what schedule you'll be working with.
HR/Human Resources/Employee relations - This is one of the integral parts in a center or any business perhaps. HR department. They are the ones who release payroll, disputes in payroll, plotting of VL which now you need a reason to rest!! SL, sanctions, performance appraisal, parties to set up, rewards and recognition and a lot more they do. Geez, ah I remember if a lot of agents visiting HR everyday, meaning the company is not really good. I just realized that. They also execute policies or mostly admin work, especially processing loans from government or private banks. They can be your helper or worse, tormentors especially if they lack of competent people. hehe Ah don't forget, they also the ones who screen the newbies, like hiring/recruitment.
The Account - Of course, this might be long.hehe But nah I'll give a simple explanation of this. A BPO/call center cannot work without the account. The account meaning it can be a US which is the most stressful kind of customers you'll have.. UK! A great account because of their pleasant accent and intellectual customers. Just be careful how you sound and 2 accents that until now, I can't understand. Scottish and Welsh. Bloody hell. hehe
Australian which for me, the easiest to work with, the understandable accent they have and just as intellectual like the British but can be harsh or if you're lucky, racist. But not all of them of course, around 5%-10% of my calls are quite hard to deal with. But definitely, they're fun to talk with.
The account can be a telecommunications from mobile, landline, internet or even TV services, financial services like banks, IT services like computer after sales service or troubleshooting help, sales of certain products or services, hotel reservations, online reservations, even online gambling and a lot more I can say that can be outsourced here. For a detail account of it, check the next chapters later.
One tip for newbies, just grab an opportunity to work in any account to see if you really feel working in this industry or to the said account. Just enjoy working one and if you feel stagnant or stressed, there is a lot outside. hehe
Tip for veterans, just avoid US accounts. Even the pay is really enticing and huge, but now, the stress and health concerns about working into it are not really rewarding. Better find a dayshift or midshift, and yes, avoid telco accounts. That's a truth! hehe
For now, I know I missed a lot terms to write here but at least I covered around 50% of it according to what I've experienced.
The next ones will show what I've experienced and yes, places/companies that I can recommend or rant as well or even what I heard about them. Just wait for the next chapters, they are quite revealing. =)
January well, after that January in 2011, and yes in 2012, seems to be unlucky. Sana this time, ok na di ba? Di na alat! hehe Anyway, for this month after all the celebrations last year or kahit nung December eh moving forward. Time to act! One by one.
For this month, I'm sure that I have less posts pero more time to other things. hehe Pag sumubra edi ok lang. I think I'll write more creative stuff, I hope if I have time at yeah, I believe 10 will be the last number ng posts. I can't lower it or else wala na to, or more pa kung kaya ko and it depends what goes in my mind.
But for now, I just need to focus siyempre sa work to stay put sa work. hehe At some little things I want to enjoy, lalo na ang tablet na pinaayos na sana wag na magloko. At sana mabalik ko na yun weekly filmfest ko!!!
And yeah, make this month more happy than unlucky unlike those years.
What else, hmmm iba talaga pag limited ang resources, hehe Pero madadaan yan to other things, or work that improves me kung baga. Ah! I hope either ROS or Alaska will go to the finals, at sana makapanood ng live! hehe ROS sana kasi once nagfinals, they can be champs, Alaska well, they need to win 2 more games to go on sa finals but for me, ok na yun run nila, TNT not only relied with their talent and experience, they have also their breaks and good luck. hehe
For this month, I may go into personal stuff or yeah, but I just want to show it. =)
