jdorama: Keizoku 2: SPEC

Oh baka sabi niyo puro bago lang napanood ko.. Let's go a bit old, 2010 naman. hehe Actually, di ito yun buong title nito, check niyo na lang sa google. Paano siya naging part 2? Isa lang ang naging connection niya, yun section chief dito eh siya din yun chief sa part one. The part one was really old, 1999 pa! Watabe Atsuro saka Nakatani Miki pa ang partners. I checked kahit isang episode nun, grabe, di mo akalain sila yun. Anyway...

Fast forward 10 years later, eh eto na sila. Saya and Takeru are now the new members ng special division who solves well, unsolved cases o kung baga weird cases.. Takeru was just assigned dito dahil sa previous mission went wrong na nabaril yun team mate niya kahit di naman siya bumaril. Weird but dun na umiikot yun story niya. Saya eh may matinding IQ kaso very unsociable, kahit boss inaaway niya at grabe, poor hygiene dahil sa kakakain ng gyoza with garlic and other weird combination of foods. Weird tandem pero they solved cases, until they meet their ultimate match. SPEC means for special abilities persons. Lahat kasi nahuhuli nila or yun kaso nila involves persons na may SPEC.

Una nagustuhan ko dito, ah yun ending song! Cool song for a suspense/action series. It's unlikely kasi saka yun visuals ng ending song, galing.. Weird pero maganda, basta bagay sa series. Second thing I liked in the series, I mean, action packed, lalo na pagtagal ng series, nagiging action na.. Kahit di pulido yun action sets, pero bakbakan agad. Unang scene pa lang, ayos na. hehe Hanggang sa huling episode, may thrill saka blood. 

Third factor I liked sa series, eh the mixture of fun and serious dialogue. Kahit yun story talagang may holes and magulo, yun dialogue between the characters eh maayos lalo na between Saya and Takeru. Speaking of dialogue, malamang the next thing I loved eh the cast. From the main cast hanggang guest, galing yun naisip nilang casting at yes, chemistry ni Kase Ryo at Toda Erika really works, even no romance involved I guess.. Kahit puro away ang ginagawa nila but in the end, their team up prevails. Erika is fit as Saya, sobrang di mo akalain wala siyang makeup and natural yun acting niya dun. Wag na siya mag make up, parang mas maganda ata siya na ganun! haha That's what I see. Kase Ryo naman, this dude should do more TV roles! Well, I hope he'll do more in the future saka pwede pala siya sa action ha. Yun chief nila is one of my favorite supporting cast, I mean kahit manyak sa bata, I mean mas bata sa kanya, pero mabibilib ka din sa mga sinasabi niya lalo na in serious situations. Overall cast, galing kahit yun mga kalaban.. Grabe, parang halos all star cast. One funny scene dun, di ko makalimutan, I don't know if Erika ate the melon with mayo! Yuck!!! hahaha Japanese mayo has a weird kick, tapos halo sa melon.. Yada! Saka gusto ko yun sequence pag nagiisip na si Saya, nakakatuwa lang siya tignan.

There were big flaws sa series, una sa lahat! Storyline.. I mean, ok yun suspense and thrill factor kasi yun mga hula mo, magkakamali sa huli. Hehe Pero medyo magulo lalo na may isa silang kalaban na can predict the future. Sorry for the spoil. Saka may isa pang kalaban o I mean dalawa nag papagulo pa, makikita niyo yun sa mga last episodes. Mapapaisip ka nga, paano pa nila tatalunin yun saka bakit nangyari.. Geez, daming pampagulo. Tapos yun may internal affairs na kalaban.. Basta marami nanggugulo. hehe

Isa pa, I can't believe, well.. Nasurvive nila yun mga malalakas na kalaban na yun. hahaha Basta watch the episodes and mabuti talaga, mataas ang IQ ni Saya. hehe Pero kahit ako, di ko maiisip agad. Di lang spec yun, parang mutant na mga kalaban nila. Grabe talaga.. At ang huli, I mean kung may malaking problem dapat involve na yun highest management ng police like yun commissioner or other departments, eh parang wala. Sila sila lang. hehe Weird right? Although makikita yun sa movies pero basta, parang di na lumaki yun police dept dun. 

Ah speaking of the movies, yes, you need to watch the 2 films because dun pakikita yun ending nito pero I'll tell you upfront, watch the SP (tv movies) tapos yun 2 movies at sakit ng ulo. More plot problems. hahaha Lalo na yun final movie, I don't know, bakit ganun. Weird talaga, pero nandun sila lahat plus more, kinda God like SPEC enemies. hehe 

Kaya after, I'll watch yun first series muna kahit luma.. O mabuti tumigil muna ko sa panood ng detective/police jdrama.. Sumakit ulo ko. hahaha Pero I still recommend it kasi kaunti lang naman na jdrama yun action talaga from start to finish saka this great team up, pwede na. 

SPEC talaga sila.
