Eye of the Beholder

As I stare this two people, I wonder... How they will go far? I mean, they seems to be having a connection already. I think of more than connection. The lady, despite the young age, I think she is interesting. I'm too old to call it a crush but maybe yeah, she's interesting. That's all.. The dude, as we were talking about nonsense earlier seems to be comfortable having his hand being pinched or let's say having a massage by my lady wave mate. Then they exchange the favor! But how those touches or those laughs together, I don't think that will be a simple interaction. Something I feel that vibe. Romance perhaps? 

I can't believe that in my college days, I was also in that state. Having fun with a special lady.. Of course, at first, we did not really have that communication. Thanks to that class directory and her birthday date, I sent her a text greeting her a happy birthday and that went off! Not only that, we both have the same liking, interests and that laid back camaraderie. Actually, she's one of the boys.. We became close and yeah, that's it.. It is.. It was.. However, despite the ups and downs we had, we remain close friends and I wonder what she is doing these days? I haven't seen her for years.. Maybe a couple of years. I don't know.. But the last time I heard from her, she's doing great and reaching her dream corporate position. I'm happy for her and I hope she's doing fine! 

And these two souls having these sweet moments together while in class, brings me that feeling. Of course, not in class but after class fun moments.. Just laughing, talking nonsense, advising each other and most of all, billiards and drinking booze! Kidding, simply having a fun time together.

I hope these two ehem, wave mates of mine find each other. Fast! Or I hope they don't end up like me knowing in a later time that  we're not for each other.. Well, a piece of advise? Just be happy together, whatever you have now. 

As for me, enough of that scene for me and get back to my own lonely station. Thinking... I need to pass this training!

My SNS

Social Network System is the long word of it. Nalaman ko lang while reading some japanese news and stuff.. Pero kahit naman dito, mas adik ata tayo kaysa sa kanila. Kaso siyempre ang tawag eh paisa isa, FB, IG, Twitter, Tumblr and a lot of social media apps to choose from. Para sa akin naman, eh wala naman ako paki, dati yun! 

Ngayon, dahil na din sa aayusin ko na yun website ko at siyempre kailangan magspread out or let's say marketing.. Mukhang magsisipag na ko gumamit ng SNS! hehe Sayang yun friendster and multiply, di tumagal, nawala parang bula.. For now, I have my twitter ID as blackswordsmann. Wordpress mayrun din but under, well facelift. hehe FB, ehem, dalawang account! One is for the real me, one is for ehem.. For social use. hahaha Tumblr, I did have one kaso well, di nagtagal.. Gagawa na lang ako ulit. The real one. 

I just hate to have this SNS kasi di naman auto update lahat. But that made sense of no auto update for security purposes. Lalo na sa mga hackers ngayon.. Grabe di ba. Iba na nag iingat. For other social media, hmmmmm Flickr? I'll pass and lalo naman yun Instagram kasi I don't reall take a lot of pics. Kita naman sa blog ko di ba? hehe Pero pagtagal, baka magdagdag ako lalo na kung ok yun phone ko. hehe Dating apps? I gave up. hahaha Simple as that. 

The voice apps or call apps, malaking tulong yan, pero malamang 2 lang itatago ko. hahaha Vibe and Line ok na. Others, I don't care. Messaging apps, I don't really use it unless may nag message sa kin, kaya ok na sa kin yun Vibe at line. 

Kaya sa mga susunod na mga linggo, maayos na nga lahat, blog and SNS so I can set my presence or make my presence felt. It's a must these days for SNS kahit sa business or personal use, it does matter. 

Pero first things first, I'll fix this damn computer. Napasukan ata ng virus crap. =)

Attack on Titan (Live action Movie)

I thought my experience with Lupin III last year will be the last. I mean that not good experience with live action adaptations coming from Japan themselves. Maybe this movie will change that.. Despite the spoilers and a lot of negative reviews! I thought of saving 200 pesos to watch this, instead of eating out with my wave mates. 

Anyway, enough of that intro and lets go straight to the movie.. Sad to say, it has only few good points! First, only one actress stand out and it's Hans by Ishihara Satomi, fully wrapped character, a crazy character. Suprisingly, did not do any of that flying moves but she was energetic and I felt that energy in her character. However, she did not do really much. But great thing, she still looks good despite with that outfit. Second, the last hmmmmm 20 mins of the film, kinda like it because it's almost the copy of the anime I saw last year. Good job on that and actually that's it. Ah yes, I forgot another good one, the blood and gore. hehe

Ok! Bad parts, I know I might sound biased or well, very disappointed because I saw this, ehem in a streaming site. However, with this film, it kinda save me some time and money going to the theater and watch this again. Not a chance!

First bad part, I felt, this film was made in a hurry. When I saw the announcement last year or I guess this year and the set will be used for the film, I knew... Despite they have a big budget (for a japanese film), it will look like not good. Months later, it only not look good but also, doesn't look like they really used the budget right. I thought there will be action from the first scene, as the manga and anime suggest, it was not.. First scene was all about carnage and seeing humanity very helpless. The set was just one town and no other towns or stages shown but it's just one stage. That's really a tight budget. 

Second part, the special effects used, although it's quite promising but not neat, except for the blood and gore parts! And of course, how the titans eat the humans, I thought they will kinda cut that off due to general audiences. But they kept it yet not polished. Sorry for the spoiler, the very big titan only showed up for minutes and the one I like, the armor Titan was not even there. The breaking wall sequences was also not polished. How about the flying sequences? Hmmmm not that great because it's few and yeah, not detailed. Titans look scary but it's just you know its CGI. If they used like the effects in the recent Godzilla, or WETA type of effects, then that will really help the film. Add to that bad shots at night! Oh my... It's so dark (maybe because it's bootleg. hehe) and it's confusing. 

Lastly, the cast! Lupin III suffered greatly because of the story and the pace but not really the actors. This film, the rest of the characters were not fit for the roles. Except for Takeda Rina who I thought she will do most of the action stuff because of her background but suprisingly she done a dramatic role and sorry, died! What! The next characters I liked, Mikasa and the Captain of the Squad, sorry that's the 2 members of the attack squad! hahaha Geez, cost cutting. Can't believe it! 

Oh I forgot, I do understand they made the changes so they can fit the story into film and well.. Budget reasons? The changes they made, did not really help the film. I mean I hope they kept Levi's character instead of Armin who only shows like thrice in this film.. Mikasa's story became also surprising! And of course, from the first scene until how Eren became a soldier, also confused me and thought, they should have really planned for those changes. Eren by the way, I'm disappointed on how they put him in this story. I just liked him at the end. 

By the way, thanks to dramanice.tv for the view! You really saved me 200 plus bucks.. hahaha I thought, great thing, I spent time and a little money to eat with my wave mates and no drinking. Few food but more laughs.. I enjoyed. Also, there was one scene that I could say, not only I laughed but kinda intrigued! Hmmmm that was hot. Almost but not quite to save the film. hehe Never that scene! 

Will I watch the prequel TV series? Maybe... It's because of Ishihara, Takeda, Sakuraba and that another hot character.. hehe I'll just wait for them to load it up!

This film, I can say.. One of the worst adaptations. I hope US version will do justice for this which I think, they'll do right because the setting is more western. I did not know how this film became a japanese setting. I'll just wait for this to be available for keeps, with Lupin III because I kept the bad ones like Black Butler and Gatchaman. It was Gouriki's fault anyway. hahaha

I hope, they'll do good in the last part which is next month! Will I give them a chance? 

Do I have a choice?

Jdorama: Teppan

Eto yun 3rd Asadora napanood ko na. Pinili ko ito ireview kasi medyo madali kaysa sa Gegege no Nyobo. hehe Actually kahit raw episodes from episodes 42-151, di ko no pinansin kung may sub. Ganun ako naadik dito sa asadora na to. 
Well, it has a simple premise.. Si Akari, sa paglaki niya and graduating high school, biglang may pumuntang matandang babae sa bahay nila.. Hinahanap yun anak niya nawawala for 18 years, at yun na.. Nalaman ni Akari, ampon lang siya ng pamilya niya. At yun matandang babae nakausap niya, lola niya pala. Simple story pero it's dramatic premise lalo na pagtagal ng story. 

Siyempre may mga parts na ayoko sa asadora na to.. Dalawa lang naman, una may character na pumasok at the middle of the story na bwisit na bwist ako. I don't know the character's name, dahil Raw nga napanood ko, parang anak siya nung isang katrabaho ni Akari or whatever, annoying character plus the actress as well. hehe Basta ayoko siya. Lalo na yun nangyari sa kanya sa huli, pampagulo. Pangalawa, love life ni Akari magulo. I mean usually sa asadora, it's either ayaw ng love life ng heroine or marami nangliligaw sa kanya at nakakapili naman agad. Like in Mare, grabe siya, may date siya dalawa tapos sa huli, nag asawa agad. hahaha 

Dito, grabe, edi walang love life si Akari sa una, tapos yun may mga gusto sa kanya, mga nakakabad trip na characters. Yun nagustuhan ni Akari, ang angas ng dating. Bwisit din. Basta for short, panget love life niya, walang kilig. hehe 

Yun lang naman problema niya. After 151 episodes, first thing I love sa asadora na to, kahit di siya fun, very dramatic naman siya. May ilang episodes medyo naiyak ako. 2 great examples, one yun part paano sila nagkabati si Akari at Hatsune, yun lola niya, nakakatouch naman yun. Another one, yun nagkita si Akari at yun tunay niyang tatay. It's emotional di yun sa tunay na tatay niya but yun foster family ni Akari. Kasi kaw ba, papayag na lang kunin yun anak mo na biglaan? Siyempre hindi. At naintindihan naman ng true father ni Akari. Actually yun drama scenes marami sa asadora na to kaya masasabi mo drama. Few fun moments pero di naman dull.

Another thing, yun aspect na pagkain, grabe yun nagpapagutom sa kin. hehe Lalo tuloy ako nagcrave sa okonomiyaki sa Osaka at Onomichi styles. Unfortunately, di siya like global dish like tempura or ramen. Wala naman ako makita na ganun dito. Grabe, parang di siya nakakasawa. Hahaha Sulit na agad. Kaya if palarin in the future, I'll eat that in japan. hehe 

Lastly, the cast! I mean, despite low budget which I'll explain later. Magaling yun cast. Kahit at first ayoko ko yun artista, Takimoto Miori, pagtagal, I like her na. hehe Tapos yun supporting cast, they made their parts fit to them. Like yun mga kapatid ni Akari, tapos yun mga friends ni Akari sa Osaka, lalo na si Hatsune, ang galing niya talaga. Hatsune was played by Junko Fuji, at nakita ko na pinagmanahan ni Terajima Shinobu sa acting, kaya pala! hehe Lalo na yun mata, nanay nga siya ni Shinobu. The best supporting cast eh yun family ni Akari, specifically yun parents ni Akari. Grabe, bagay talaga si Endo Kenichi as tatay at mum si Yasuda Narumi. Galing nun dalawa yun not only as parents, but lovers I mean as husband and wife. Grabe, parang icheer mo si Kenichi as tatay and si Narumi naman, despite that deceiving look, galing niya mag act as nanay pero beautiful pa din. hahaha That beauty of hers, I mean she can defeat other actresses now. She is doing modelling for clothing line or if you look sa pictures, grabe, ang ganda niya pa din. Despite her very old age. Not very bad. haha Lalo na yun jdrama na bida si Goriki, it's a long title but that series, galing niya as Goriki's mum kahit mukha lang silang magkapatid. Interesting fact, Yasuda Narumi also lead an asadora, 20 plus years ago. When I looked yun mga luma niyang picture, grabe.. Ngayon pics na lang tignan ko. hahaha

Well, galing nun ginawa ng NHK, very low budget asadora. Makikita mo naman sa setting, sa pinili nilang cast at yun story line, di grand like carnation, or amachan or other asadoras. Ohisama, the asadora after this, eh mukhang maganda, pero pagtagal ko nalang panoorin yun. Speaking of Miori, nagulat ako na there was a band, just a new all girl real band yun lead singer eh hot. hehe Looking back, siya na pala yun. Lagoon! 

Sulit ang pagkaadik ko dito despite watching most of it, no sub. Self translation na lang. hehe 

Sarap talaga nung okonomiyaki na yun, ginugutom tuloy ako! Teppan pala is the stove na ginagamit for cooking okonomiyaki. Yun parang sa burger pero ito, table type siya.. 

Magkaganun ka kaya sa bahay mo no? 

Crushes: Lea Seydoux

Hmmmm first time I saw her was in a film, a kinda weird french film. Roses in rent as I remembered the title. Despite I really hate the film, I enjoyed the time watching it because the lead actress, was definite an eye catcher! Every scene she in, I swear I just daze my eyes on her. Never missed a moment just looking at her.

At that time, I don't know her name, no idea.. However as  I grew more curious or let's say fan of world cinema, and french films are one of the best.. I also know some french stars and luckily, I found her name. Simple french name. But what's interesting about her is she's a relative to a french magnate in films! I forgot that dude's name but I thought why she need to work hard as an actress if she has connections already? I simply answered at the back of my mind, she really love acting. Well, there is one physical feature I don't like about her.. That eyes, it's just simple. It's a typical french or somewhat russian. Anyway, at my first look she looks like Milia Jovovich but bigger so yeah, it's just because of the eyes.

But it doesn't mean, she's out of my top choices. Of course not!! Definitely, wow... One of the beautiful actress now coming from France. It's like second to Eva Green! Even at the screen she looks tall, even she's only around 5'6", but a big lady. Not very thin nor thick figure. Just right hotness.. Haha You can see her as innocent, or no make up or as femme fatale, still very beautiful. I just have a big sigh when I see her.

It doesn't mean, she only looks beautiful, she can also act.. From Inglorious, MI:3, Midnight in Paris even for a short role and mostly french films. The most notable of all, definitely, if you want to see all about her and acting as well.. Blue is the Warmest Color. That's it, see the film and feast your senses. hahaha

It shows despite the weird make up and she looks quite ugly there. At the end, I did not care, she shown talent and indeed, looking forward for her future flicks. Especially the upcoming James Bond film! Daniel Craig holds the bond record for the luckiest bond ever when it comes to leading ladies. hehe

Anyway, I hope for Lea, improve her english so she can be like Eva who can not only be cast in french films but also US or UK films. Maybe, stay away for those art films for a while so the audience can focus on the talent not on the, ehem, her body.. So, there... 

Damn her best look? Emma! Her hair with the blue color fits her..

Wow, dami ko naman napanood na trailers. Very disappointed that well, mukhang I just wait for something happens. hehe Other things, ok naman.. Ilan beses na ko nag system image restore in a week so in the future I'm thinking to get a stable set up ng windows ko. I'm thinking ubuntu pero baka lahat ng apps ko di naman umandar. I'll think of it in the future. 

Bilis naman ng panahon, one month in my new work. Almost 3 years for me to take calls non stop, parang the skill did not leave me. Wow, I can't believe this. hahaha It's like writing, can't go away.  It seems my sked will be weird for sometime so, ok lang, steady lang. I'm making some progress about fixing my site, although draft pa lang, pero naiisip ko na yun design and overall UI. In the coming months, I maybe need some help about it. 

Naisip ko din bumili ng orig windows but I'll wait instead for 10 with the reviews and let's see how it will go along. Nakapagtataka na mura na pala ng windows 8 ngayon. I know 8k is expensive but unlike windows 7 na umaabot dati na 10k right? Wait and see strategy muna. 

Di na ko pumunta ng Eiga Sai this year, it's not because I don't like to, eh nagsimula na ang trend.. I already have most of the films before they show it here. Naisip ko, ganun na pala ako kaddict sa Eiga. Grabe. hahaha Maybe I'm done searching my preference films, or the films for collection. Parang japanese cinema na hinahanap ko na. I even look for japanese box office which this week, number one ang Hero (Kimura Takuya's titular role). Bad trip naman yun film na Mozu, nagshooting sila dito, wala man lang publicity. Nandito pa naman si Maki Yoko!!! Erghh.. hehe 

What else, yeah, I'm giving my computer to start up for 20 mins because of the 2 pesteng notifications para sure di maghang. That intel security thing and the update windows icon. Napansin ko kasi pag wala pa yun dalawang icon na yun, nagloloko agad yun pc ko at worse, restore na. Bwisit talaga. hahaha Pero may naisip na ko ways to improve it and better yet have a great set up. I'll do that pag naayos na yun data management ko ng library. Mahirap na magsimula ulit maginstall. hehe

For now, ano pa ba.. Ah, ano pala gagawin ni Tim Cone sa Ginebra, kakain ng kangkong? hehe Oh baka gusto niya maaliw aliw sa bora every conference. Pwede di ba.. hehe I don't know, Ginebra doesn't really need a great coach to win.. Hay.. Basta may mga players diyan na walang kwenta, same result!

Next week, I'm starting to lessen my internet surfing whatever addiction. hahaha Just need to focus for some skills that I need to improve. Lalo na tipid tipid, I'll do self study. Hay... Can't wait to start this weekend! 

Pero pahinga muna ako, it has been a chaotic week.. But fun!
