The return of easyrock

I almost forgot, for the past weeks, welcome supermart having problems of getting their fave station, 96.3 easyrock. hehe Actually, Wrock sila then naging easyrock when MBC bought them out. Nagulat na lang ako kasi way back parlance days, I'm a wrock listener. Especially there is a show at Saturdays na about love, life or problems. Parang love notes. Hehe Fave ko nga si Cherry, un DJ dun kaso nung nag easy rock, wala na siya. Hehe I forgot the name of the other one, yun katandem niya, Paul ata whatever. Ok kasi yun show na yun. Sayang wala na. Well, it started na isang araw, biglang nagloloko yun speaker ng supermart, eh they tried to change channels but it didn't work. After that day, ayun, they changed channels. Hehe They tried crappy stations, like love or WRR, or yes! Haha After one week, they went to magic, nung una, ayos naman. Kaso may mga shows sila boring tapos yun ibang DJ, may pagkaarte. Heller..

Mabuti pa yun show nila pag 10 pm. Hehe Well, gusto ko sana RT kaso alam niyo naman, mahina sila sa audience. Hehe NU rock gone nowhere na. I am not sure where they are heading to. Hehe

At the time easy rock is missing, medyo namiss namin, of course, their jingle. Hehe Tapos they are playing the single ladies acoustic version always. At first, binabara ko yun kasi wala na siya makanta, bakit naman yun pa? What a way to become famous. hehe Pero nun nakita ko siya sa TV, ayos pala. Haha Gusto ko nga yun version niya ng right now ni Akon.

Di lang naman yun namiss namin, siyempre yun mga 80's and 90's ballad, love songs they play. Ah eto pa, recently lang, radio edit ng nobody. haha

This last Monday, when I heard their jingle sa labas ng supermart, mukhang bumalik na. Ayos! Hehe Soothing sounds are back..

Am I saying this because, it maybe, this is my fave station?

Hmm I can say that, because of the songs they play. Like they always say, less talk, more light rock. That says a lot to me. Besides, pag may hinahanap ako kanta, sa kanila ko nakukuha yun title. Hehe Thanks 96.3..

Ah may honorable mention naman ang RT.. Kaso may mga pop songs eh. I like RT because what they play at weekends and ang wasak trio, the brewrats! Hehe

realizations (part 5)

After UST lost badly to DLSU in double OT, which they are now final four contender. UST won easily to UP and today, well, DLSU lost to ADMU. Sounds great? I don't think so. Masisira yun mga predictions ko. hehe

I am still getting stressed out and hoping for a great week and waiting a miracle to happen in my life, which I don't see it soon.

Let's cut the chase at magsimula na magisip about well, my life.

65. Ah yes, I can say that college days are better than my high school days. Pero yun mga best friends ko are from high school. They are my proud brothers. hehe

66. Pero, mas marami akong friends from college. hehe However, I just love my friends. One reason that keeps me going...

67. Ewan ko kung bakit fan ako ng UST, eh nung college naman, sa kangkungan lagi sila. Siguro, noong 2006 championship run ako naging fan nila. hehe Bago lahat, kahit coach, mas gusto ko si Pido kaysa naman si Aric na wala naman ginawa kundi murahin sila Baguio. hahaha

68. Before, I only use the net for surf, and some research. Now, I can't just live without it. Maybe because of some things. hehe Inclining to be techie even I am not really a techie person, I don't have the gadgets dude. Not yet. hehe

69. Siguro, marami ako nalalaman na sa online ko nakita. Marami talaga. hehe Siyempre, yun mga nadodownload ko pa. hehe Like the number says. hahaha

70. Oo nga pala, since then mahilig na ko sa computer. Dapat pala com sci kinuha, kaso Commerce lang ako pumasa. hehe

71. Why I love Ateneo? Hmmm when I took their entrance exams, ang sarap ng scenery and the surroundings, everything on it. Sabi ko nga sa sarili, pagnakapera ako, kahit MBA, dun na. hehe Kaso for now, wala pa. Bad trip. hehe

72. However, I love UST, kasi siyempre the best, malapit, the people I met, everything on it, yun course lang ang panget. Hahaha They should improve College of Commerce lalo na sa Business Administration!!!!

73. As years go by, hahahahahaha Our house is getting nuts. Inside and out. Oh well, that's what you call family.

75. After I said everything to her these past days/weeks, I felt relieved, free from anxiety, moving on and I just wish her the best of luck. Anything else, sa kin na lang. hahaha

revisiting headaches

while watching shoot 'em up, and after visiting Chard's Dad, well sa burol. Siyempre bago pumunta dun, I am a man of my word, time to pay some dues. hehe Siyempre, pumunta kami sa Mr. Kebab, as part sa pusta namin. Siyempre, alam naman natin talo ang UST ng DLSU, well talo na ko sa regulation eh, OT. I have no choice, talo na ko. hehe

Well, niyaya ko na si Rheg to pay up for him. Hehe We went to Mister Kabab and ate, well for me, shawarma plate. Tapos kay Rheg ang pusta siyempre, keema with eggplant, then 3 breads tapos watermelon shake. Ang sakit matalo sa pusta. hehehe Kaya kailangan manalo na sila against DLSU second round ha. hehehe

Anyway, on the way to Mr. Kabab, yun driver ng jeep, letche magdrive. Pinahilo ako. Kami ni Rheg, kaya pagdating namin sa Mr. Kabab, hilong hilo ako. After eating good, we went kina Igz to wait for Doc tapos kina Chard na. hehehe Wasak. Pero mabuti na lang nandun na si Richard at complete pa kami. hehe Nakapunta naman si Doc. Kasi Wednesday night, nakausap lang namin yun Tita ni Chard. Pero masaya naman, kaso mas masaya pag si Chard na ang kausap. Parang bumalik ang high school days, lalo na yun mga adventures niya. hehehe May mga nagbago sa kanya, pero yun kakulitan, Chard pa din. hehe

After that fun and wacky conversation, siyempre, umuwi na kami, actually naghahanap pa din ako ng paracetamol paguwi. hehe So I slept and Friday came, oh well, headache still came. I tried to rest before I meet Rheg, but well, maingay dito, thanks to the man downstairs. Hay!!!! Bad trip.

Anyway, after that day, there was Friday. Oh, Friday, I don't know what to do. hehe Well, it was good at the start but I need to do something important later. Then ayun, naisip ko to get my COE. Time to return, to Dell for the last time. It was very windy afternoon, I thought aabutin pa ko ng baha. hehe So nakarating naman ako ng libis, mabilis, pero medyo traffic sa Gentex.

Bumaba ako sa Citibank which I am a most wanted person. hehe Tapos bought some blank DVD's for safe keeping of files. I went straight ahead to Dell. Same security, very tight. Iwan ID tapos punta na ko sa second floor. Maganda COE ng Dell ha, hanggang ngayon dala dala ko sa shop. hehe Nakakalimutan ko iwan sa kwarto, but I'll do that later.

I went back agad sa shop, and kala ko pa naman may unit na nabenta, kaso ayun. Olats. hehe However, I still got this freaking headache. Even I drank some paracetamol, ganun pa rin. Siguro stress na to. hahahaha

Ah crap, so many to think...

So many to solve....

Yet no solution..

I just hope, this headache don't get worse..

Sorry medyo magulo ang blog ko, sumakit lang ulo ko. Naman.

This month will be very busy, visiting here and there. Weddings and baptism, and some birthdays.

Another headache.

Downloading

Well, almost 2 months up to now, I got addicted to my DSL. As we know, I used to have cable internet for 2 years, and it was good. the only problem is the speed. I noticed that when I am visiting websites and they are slow to load.

Not only that, I am using bit lord and when I am getting the files or crap, hehe it takes at least a day to get the file. I am talking about, a 700 MB file. Or less. For albums, at least 3 hours.. Kinda slow, and there was a time that I need to do something to kill time just to finish the download. Hehe Or worse, leave the computer all day or night.

Those reasons made me decide to switch a provider. Hmmmm of course the first choice was PLDT.. However, due to the bad experience I had way back at LP, and you will need to have their landline, it's a waste of time. Second choice, bayan DSL. We do have a bayantel landline, for a long time. Well coz of Mom. I checked their plans, and quite cheap, just a small margin. I just don't know how they serve.

Of course with PLDT, you do have good connection, but sometimes not all the time. I heard some horror stories, from friends, and Ron who had a computer shop before getting connection problems for a week?! It happened once but that was a big loss for a business. It did occur again, but only for hours or if you're unlucky, days. Hehe

There was a third choice, Globelines, but since I experienced bad connection and service when I was in LP, I crossed them out. By the way, they charged us for that. Good grief. They are the worst. Hahaha

So, after checking the options, I went to bayan DSL. I heard from my good friend that the service is good and connection as well. The only problem before when I apply, is I need a letter of consent from Dad. I went to bayantel first and check the plans. Asked some tech questions, even the sales agent was kinda rude, and I told her I'll be back to check, funds and arrangement with Kuya Allan.

After we reached some agreement, well I went back right away to bayantel then apply. At first, I thought it was done (the name was under Dad's name yet I used mine, since we're both have the same first and last name) hehe It didn't go through, so they just asked the middle initial of Dad then I just filled out again the form. Hehe

Approved then wait for ehem, 5-6 business days. At first, it disappointed me, but well better to wait than nothing. That was a Sunday afternoon..

Tuesday came, and it was lousy day at the shop. Then, I was thinking at that time to transfer my computer to my room so I can stay and I don't need to come down. Plan changed. Hehehe Mom called and was telling me that a dude will come to our house and install the DSL, at lunch..

I waited then minutes, just 30 mins, the dude is in the house already. Mom called me and told me to get my ass at the house asap. Hahaha

I asked permission from Kuya Alpro, then I rode a trike back to home. I saw 2 dudes, one from meralco which threaten us to pay asap or have our electricity cut. Hehe

Then there is the DSL dude. I opened up my computer, it's password protected that's why. Hehe The tech guy installed the DSL quickly, pop the modem and set up the address, that's it. I checked how it surfs the net.. Fast. Facebook, fast. Youtube streaming, damn fast. Hehe

Well, that's what you call fast install. Hehe At the first week, it has some problems, but when I called them, well, prompt response and quick fix. It took some days to fix the problem coz of my computer, like managing the OS first? No way.. Hehehe Reformat my computer? Oh no. Hehe Anyhow, thanks to Kuya Allan, problem solved. That was the last time it had glitches but now, I am download crazy. Hehe It has some small connection problems but just click disconnect, refresh and connect, ready to go.

I first saw the lola techie commercial and they do as advertised. Ang dali. Hehe

With my new DSL connection, I was able to get the hard to find albums, like is this it? By the strokes. Remastered albums of new order. Hmmmm hard to find films like mad max.. Or my fave film this year, watchmen director's cut. Hehe and some programs and some secret stuff. Haha

To sum it up, it's worth it to have this connection.. In one sleep, I got films and albums downloaded and enjoy it. I don't need to wait for days. Hehe I still wait for days to finish the download but of course, that's bulk downloading. I can't do that at cable. Hehe

I should create a list for that, hmmmm I don't know where to start and what to get. Hehe I wish I can have this connection for the year, as long we are good payers. Hehe

I have some readers already eh. I want to them. I just hope they will continue to read my long, ehem boring blog. hehe To Khaye, I'll work your special request. Hehe

What happened to the meralco guy? Well, we promised we'll pay it the same day, gave him pamerienda and left. Then hours later, we saved from being cut, we paid it of course directly to Meralco. That was so close..

unlucky too

Narinig ko sa homily ni Father kahapon na wag daw maniwala sa swerte. Because God knows best for us. He is damn right. hehe

Well, like what happen this past week. I am so much broke (pero lagi naman eh) I mean when I saw my earning this week, I went out cold. I started the week right then I ended up low. May effort yun ha.. Hehe I tried to let go tarmo and dark confidant but unfortunately it did not work. Hehe I will try it again this week kaso pag di ko pa nabenta. I'll try the other way. Hehe Hay, tapos sa bahay, imbes na makapagpahinga ka eh biglang dumami pa problema.. Anak ng tokwa. From my younger brother and to tito, I think this won't end. Bad trip. Idagdag mo pa yun pagkatalo ng ust kahapon tapos sa pusta pa..

That shows it won't really end. Hehe Sinasabi ko nga kay Rheg, wala bang consolation prize? Hehe Hay.. Maybe, luck wasn't at my side, all the time..

However, is it luck that some good thing comes to you. Or there is a time that you didn't expect to happen and it did happen, great. You can't tell as well if that is luck or bad luck that you lose something right away even you worked hard for it. Or kagaya nangyari ngayon sa bahay, tahimik kahit papano dati, pero ngayon.. Magulo..

Or kagaya ng laro ng UST kahapon. hehehe Bitter loss..

O eto na lang, lahat ng plano ko, ayos na sana kaso wala din nangyari. Hehe

Maybe, the priest is right. A person who had everything he/she needs or wanted came from hard work, or patience/preserverance, well a touch of luck but the most important of all is faith. Not fate ( I hate that word. Hehe)

Faith to yourself which gives you confidence. Faith to the people around you gives you motivation and purpose.. Faith to God gives you a reason to live according to his teaching. To love and to do good and hope for the best.

As the priest says, God gives tangible things, has no problem with that, but the reason Jesus is here, it's the faith he wants from. A strong faith to him, always and he will do what's right.

Tama nga siya. Napansin ko lang yun dahil sa mga nangyari sa buhay ko. Well, di naman lahat, pero yun mga nangyari, made me wiser, when to say no. Nagkaroon ako ng better goals, and never give up. More faith to the Holy Trinity and moving on happy. Trust the people around me more at well, being humble. Hehe Moving on, waking up early morning with full of hope, I guess.

Medyo nagbabasa na ko sa shop. Hehe The Art of War, at last. Bahala na yun sa taas, kung maganda or panget mangyari sa kin this week, or the coming days. Whatever. hehe

Oh, God bless Cory.. I knew that she will pass away since last week, hula ko nga Friday kaso sumubra. Hehe But thanks to her, the essence of freedom is here, every moment of our Filipino life. Thanks to her, kahit ganito yun present natin, we are here, living freely. She also taught us to pray deeply in whatever happens to us. She made us a very christian catholic country.

Feeling ko, maglalabas yun BSP ng special edition ng 500 pesos, magkasama na sila ni Ninoy. Ayos yun, and they deserve it. One of the ways we can honor them. Hehe They deserve it.
