Since college times, the one place I can get my need for good movies and some software stuff is in this place.. Quiapo, even my music collection came from a very small place in Hidalgo, almost all the hard to find sounds.. It's there..
Sa mga films naman, yeah, yun mga sikat na films, alam na mayrun na dun.. Kung art films or hard to find films, kung makatsamba ka.. Dun din. hehe
I still remember, I always go there as long I have 100 bucks and buy some stuff there.. And uwi, nood at tago na agad yun DVD. Sa mp3, convert na agad sa phone.. hehe US TV series na din na dun na lang bumili kaysa manood ng matagal sa youtube.
As time goes by, ayun as I discovered a better way to get those stuff and save more money, eto na ko ngayon.. No more hassle going at Hidalgo and look poor thing kasi iwas holdup or mandurukot. hehe And no more rushing there at least before night to avoid trouble at traffic.. No more going in those hot stalls which really sometimes, gets in your head. Espcially kung may tumitingin na sobrang tagal.
Now, I can just wait and have it almost all.
However, I thanked that place, at least, to give the best choices pagdating sa mga ganun stuff, and yes, it's stealing but you cannot avoid the fact na technology is there and sad to say, it comes free.. So, we cannot blame those people there selling those pirated stuff.. It's cheap, easy to sell.
That's why, nakakaawa naman ang mangyayari sa kanila, malakas ang loob ni Mayor Lim at Ronnie Ricketts to clean up those area.. Actually, galing lang ako dun at may mga pwesto pa din, pero parang kaunti na nga lang.. I don't know what alternative of those 2 powerful men can give to our hardworking brothers and sisters there.. Maybe they can subsidiary selling original stuff instead. hehe I mean, instead selling, pirated copies, why not sell, original ones, pero siyempre mahal, kaya dapat may share ang government sa puhunan.. Kasi yun ang kilala sa street na yun..
Wag naman damit or cellphone accessories na naman, kasi nasa kabilang kanto lang naman.. Kaya I don't know how they will help them.. But I hope they will come up a better plan..
It should be a helpful and better plan. =)
Even now, I haven't go there for some time.. I hope it will be a better place for all those will be affected by the clean up, and sana they will be blessed for something productive than what they use to sell before.
I called it tower Quiapo kasi in accordance with Tower Records, a famous video and music store which sad to say, was first to go closed already. =(
Damn, about piracy? The thing they come up, won't really solve the whole problem, around 30% of the problem will be solved, but how about the remaining one?
I can say, nah.. They will not come up on how to solve the remaining problem.. Sorry, as long I can do it or many others can really do it..

Team went Magical
Wow, after that week, even it was quite busy... Nakapahinga naman ako today, well, quite short of funds. hehe But quite sad due to well, it was not happy than last week. But that's fine, important is I'm getting the rest I need, even in a short notice.
What the hell happened last Saturday? hehe
After the 12am shift on Friday, the schedule for going to EK was Saturday, meaning, I need to wake up early, lalo na if we going to meet at Festi Alabang. Naman. hehe
Well, I woke up at around 8am na, kasi late na din ako nakauwi, which is around 2am. hehe
Anyway, siyempre pag gising ko medyo groggy pa ko.. At the back of my mind, sabi ko, ayaw ko na, wag na lang. Kaso siyempre aawayin naman ako nila TL Jo-anne niyan at ng previous team..
So I jumped right out from bed and well, ayos ng gamit, go to shop and commute na papunta south. TL, advised me na lang to go at Buendia tapos magkita na lang sa EK. Wow, parang madali lang yun ha. hehe
Anyway, after that, madali naman ako nakahanap ng masasakyan. While travelling sa bus, medyo nanghihina na ko.. Nakakaantok, I just want to rest but well, let's see I can have fun..
Great thing madali lang nakapunta dun, the last time I went there, team building sa Dell at nakablog naman yun. That was what, almost 3 years ago. hehe
Then, pagkababa sa Walter Mart, trike agad which is very expensive.. The fastest 36 pesos you'll ever spend. hehe I arrived at EK around 11am, and great day to spend time into kasi sa weather, di ulan ng ulan. Very sunny..
Kaso, mukhang binebuenas ata ako.. Nauna pa ko sa kanila. =) While waiting for it, since di pa ako kumakain, kumain muna ako sa labas. I just remember, mahal pala sa EK. Damn, tama na ang isang sandwich!
After some waiting, at nagkita pa kami ni Calei dun, na kanina pa pala nandun eh dumating na sila TL.. And there is a good surprise.. Di lang ticket ang libre kung hindi, may wizard money pa! Yehey.. Bawas gastos..
Then pasok at it did relive some memories!!! Siyempre nun huli punta ko dun, medyo simple lang kasi after night shift yun, sobrang antok kami. hehe Eto it was different, some sleep and with a fun team..

Of course, first ride was Anchor's away.. I still remember the one I rode nun sa US.. It was way scary at that time, kasi umiikot yun ship.. Here hindi naman, half circle lang. Eh, the thrill is still there, lalo na pag nasa pinakamataas ka na. hehe
Then, sumunod na kami sa other rides, roller coaster... Tapos after some rides, pahinga muna kami. Lalo na ko, geez, init tapos puyat, sobrang pagod na agad ako.. Great thing may wizard money, kain lang ng kain. hehe
Mabuti may DQ dun at other foods na masarap kahit di mura.. After that lunch, siyempre, kwentuhan at tawanan.. Hinihintay pa namin sila Jerome at Mhon.. May mga shift pa kasi sila..
Anyway, after that simple lunch..
Well, go to the rides that changed my day.. Geez.. hehe
After the Elvis show este, yun great American show that includes the canadian Justin Bieber, ah, all of them.. Were impersonators.. However, the only one stand out is Elvis, geez he can sing like Elvis.. Kudos for that dude!
I don't know, I did not enjoy it perhaps.. hehe
Then, ayun na! Space Shuttle reminsce some of my US adventures. It reminds me, well, unfortunately, the Demon ride which really made me nuts. For this one, ayun di naman mahaba, pero nakakathrill yun pabalik na course.. After that, ayun medyo hilo at moving on na.. Tapos while walking, since gusto lahat subukan, eh naisip na mag horror show muna.. Since nadadaanan namin.. Sige lang ng sige!
It's not free though, 50.00php.. As we enter to that horror walk, I was shocked not because of the creepiness, but ako pinauna eh.. Sino ba naman di matatakot dun? hehe Pero well, for the girls, it's a long walk for them. Ayun, si Mhyne medyo kinaya, kaya, pahinga muna sandali and sort of.. After mahismasan ang lahat, at ayun, pila na sa Rio Grande, which I was surprised, the longest line in EK at that day.. Geez, it's hot then let's soak and wet! hehe For me, I think that's a bad idea.. I don't have extra clothes!!!! Damn.. But ayun pila kami and after sometime, I think 20 mins or tops, sakay na sa malaking salbabida. Malaki talaga!!!! Pero motorized. hehe Then, eto si TL, making lusot, di na naman sumama.. Naku, grabe si TL.. hehe
Ride went on and ayun, nababasa na ko, Mhyne, more bad news, the spot na naupuan niya eh spot pala ng maraming tubig, so ayun... Basang basa.. While the father and son na kasama namin, kampante lang eh!
Then, bad news came, may small fall pala sa ride and yes, kami lang naman ang tinamaan... Very wet.. Crap.. The father and son, ayun, buenas, di man lang nabasa.. But it was a good ride indeed! Not physically straining pero may thrill pa din kasi kung di ka mababasa, saka mahaba yun ride. hehe
For me? At that point, I want to sleep or lay down a bit but I can't especially with this group.. hehe Tapos may laser tag na napakahirap at ano pa, sila nag go kart pa eh, kaso ala na ko pera.. Tinira ko yun wizard money ko for the ride that I want to try!
Rialto, well, I don't if it's worth the ride.. Hmmmm at ang matindi, siyempre may mga games na sobrang tiba, na sana nagperya na lang kami. At least sa perya, may chance ka manalo, at di ka gagastos ng malaki. Eh dito, grabe eh.. Tiba tiba sila, ang hirap pa nun mga palaro. hehe
Mabuti na lang isang beses lang ako nagtry at tama na. Di naman talaga sulit, unless well, magaling ka sa game na yun. Like yun basag pinggan contest. hehe
After all of that dizzying and fun walk, ayun balik sa Anchor's away na sobrang, pagod at hilo na.. Oh Lord. hahaha Parang lutang na ko, I don't care what happens, just what to finish all the rides!!!!!
Then yes, at last.. There is a new ride in EK and it's not for free, but I want to try it.. The tower!!! It's like the drop zone I saw when I went in the US, but that was decades ago. hehe
Halos ayaw lahat sumali so, kaming tatlo na lang ang nakasakay, Jhon, Mhyne and yours truly.. I can tell you honestly, I was praying before that tower arises.. hehe Ika nga sa comment ko, kala ko katapusan na namin! hahaha
Yes, for all the rides, yun ang sulit kahit medyo mababa pa siya compare dun sa US pero grabe, yun nakakatakot eh yun unti unti ka inaakyat na mabagal, grabe nakatakot..
Then, pag nasa taas na, yun na.. Oh no, what a great sight around me, but not below me.
As the release pops off, grabe, napasigaw na ko at umangat! Parang slow motion na kung baga.. Then seconds later, as in seconds.. Yun na.. Tapos na!!! hehe Pero ang sakit ng behind ko kasi yun impact na angat at bagsak, di pala biro.
Geez, I was soaked, hang up in the air, drizzle in a whirling air and hanged up and well, mind boggling games.. To sum of it, after the tower, I was drained, dead tired, yet happy! It was fun, lalo na yun mga moments na kwentuhan at kulitan din.. Kakamiss talaga. That's why, pag may team building sila at pwede ako, edi join na! =)
After that, we went to our last ride which is ferris wheel na mabilis kasi marami nakapila.. Kakatakot at first pero yun lang.. Si TL, ayaw sumakay!!! Grabe na oh.. hehe Pero don't worry, at last sumakay na.
We tried the bump car na sobrang iksi as my last ride, yun iba naglibot pa and to cap off the night, may fireworks pa na maganda.. It really gives you some fun to enjoy the whole day stay at EK.
It was a memorable one and eventhough EK needs to improve a lot for it's facilities and rides, sulit naman, free and mabuti may wizard money! hehe

PBA D-League
Di ko napanood yun Semi-finals nila hanggang finals due to the change of sked and well, busy sa work din. But noong normal pa sked ko, at maaga ang uwi, ayun na, may time pa ko mapanood ang D-League.
Like I said before, as long it's basketball, I will watch it, even it's PBL, or NCAA or well, as long it's televised and it involves college stars, pwede na pagtiyagaan. hehe
Sad to say, before it was introduced, amateur basketball was in dire straits. Liga Pilipinas is not well, working consistently, and besides, walang tv coverage unlike it's first outing. Then, PBL had the worst beating. It tried to get at least 6 teams to commit for a conference but unfortunately, kinulang at nun introduce etong D-League ng PBA, dun na sumama ang lahat and a surprisingly, 13 teams joined the league. More than 4 from the PBA itself. Wow. hehe
Then I waited and it happened.. First games, were quite sloppy because of the players na din, not because they are lazy or di nagpractice, it's because of the season na din. Natapat sa summer, kaya ayun like the college players, parang araw araw sila naglalaro kasi sa summer leagues. O masama pa, baka one day, twice sila naglalaro!!! Di kaya nahilo sila nun. hehe
Mahirap yun ha, lalo na sa D-League, yun kalaban mo, biglang kakampi mo pa or vice versa.. Nakakalito. hehe Pero ayun, as the game and conference progresses nagiging masaya na panoorin. PBA rules yet they only play 10 minutes per quarter.
Kahit yun ibang laro tambakan, ok lang, at least nakikita mo kung nakakaadjust sila sa PBA rules. And may games na sobrang dikit, na talo na, nanalo pa bigla! hehe And my favorite, almost fight marred games!!!! hehe Grabe, may isang team which I'll tell later na dapat investigate, well naging maayos naman sila nun playoffs. Pero yun elims ha, every game, may gulo sa side nila. hehe
Pero the main thing or goal ng league na to is the development of players, even homegrown or mixed, at least nafeel na nila kung talagang ok ba sila sa PBA.. Kasi may iba na yes, ok sa amateur leagues pero sa PBA, ayun cheerleader. hehe
Para maexperience nila at matest kung ok ba talaga sila. Or may ibubuga kung baga.
Great hosts and reporters.. Saka yun coaches ha, never heard pero pwede.. Lalo na yun Richard Del Rosario. Kakatawa lalo na paginterview for his winning team. Binabara lagi ng hosts. hehe
Anyway, may mga players na iba na level. I mean pwede na sa PBA, number one example. Paul Lee, which well, magaling at talagang ewan ko kung may babantay sa kanya sa PBA. Kaso he needs to control his temper which cost a surprising upset from Pharex. Speaking of Pharex, mister kabab pala tambayan nila, namely Taylor and Asoro ha. Basta may mga nakakatawa kami banat nila Rheg sa dalawa. hehe Anyway, sayang yun Cobra team na yun, well.. Lee needs to improve his attitude na lang sa game. And change his monicker please.. Cobra commander?
Abueva, ayun, attitude din pero nagchampion naman sila.. Besides that, sobrang galing, pwede na din, parang Espinas siya na kulang lang sa jump shot. Pero yun gulang at depensa, pwede na. Yun nga lang, wag lang sa gulo. hehe
Coach Richard's team, the PC wizards has a very potent backcourt. Naisip niya siguro sana ganun din sa CSB. hehe Lastimosa and Mangahas. Grabe, siguro kung malaki lang si Mangahas, the better one than the other Mangahas in Pharex.. Magaling na PG yun. Si Lastimosa, mana kay tito nga. Pati ang gupit eh. hehe Pero grabe, may future yun dalawa, yun nga lang, wala sila pantapat sa Cebuana Gems.
Which, in question and indeed the team who fired up the league. Every, yes, every elims game they played. Yes, there are rugged teams medyo magulang, like FCA or Pacific pipes, pero di naman umaabot sa gulo. Etong Cebuana, grabe, every game, may away. hahaha Like sa Maynilad, alam ko mainit si Coach Frankie pero nacontrol naman at complain lang, pero yun sobrang galit, sa Cebuana game ko lang siya nakita ganun!!! Thrown out! hehe
Ang matindi sa Max Sumo team, which composes of my Alma Matter and some good veterans, na composed lang si Coach Pido biglang one moment, naninipa na!!! hehe Grabe, ayun dalawang coach pati si Luigi, thrown out! hehe

I believe this league will do better than other Amateur Leagues kasi maganda yun concept, simple.. And for the fil-ams which they need to play 2 conferences before joining the draft is good for them para makita kung talagang pang PBA sila at kung sisikat sila.
May some not good features lang, like sana mahaba yun tourney.. Double round, first round same group, second round crossover, parang NBA ang dating. hehe
Saka age limit, dapat wag na age limit kasi sa daming di na naglalaro sa PBA at umaasa na lang sa ibang leagues, sana pwede pa sila, lalo na yun players na nacut lang because of cap or roster wise. Lalo na ngayon 9 na lang ang teams sa PBA, dapat yun age limit medyo taasan na lang, mas maganda. Besides ang dami teams sa D-League at mukhang dadami pa due to the requirements kasi, owners feel, affordable and good marketing strategy.
Yun lang, sana kahit di ko sila mapanood next conference, hmmm I'll get updates, and ok lang sa channel 13, malinaw naman at kahit ang commercial ay mga IBC crap shows, ok lang din. hehe

Like I said before, as long it's basketball, I will watch it, even it's PBL, or NCAA or well, as long it's televised and it involves college stars, pwede na pagtiyagaan. hehe
Sad to say, before it was introduced, amateur basketball was in dire straits. Liga Pilipinas is not well, working consistently, and besides, walang tv coverage unlike it's first outing. Then, PBL had the worst beating. It tried to get at least 6 teams to commit for a conference but unfortunately, kinulang at nun introduce etong D-League ng PBA, dun na sumama ang lahat and a surprisingly, 13 teams joined the league. More than 4 from the PBA itself. Wow. hehe
Then I waited and it happened.. First games, were quite sloppy because of the players na din, not because they are lazy or di nagpractice, it's because of the season na din. Natapat sa summer, kaya ayun like the college players, parang araw araw sila naglalaro kasi sa summer leagues. O masama pa, baka one day, twice sila naglalaro!!! Di kaya nahilo sila nun. hehe
Mahirap yun ha, lalo na sa D-League, yun kalaban mo, biglang kakampi mo pa or vice versa.. Nakakalito. hehe Pero ayun, as the game and conference progresses nagiging masaya na panoorin. PBA rules yet they only play 10 minutes per quarter.
Kahit yun ibang laro tambakan, ok lang, at least nakikita mo kung nakakaadjust sila sa PBA rules. And may games na sobrang dikit, na talo na, nanalo pa bigla! hehe And my favorite, almost fight marred games!!!! hehe Grabe, may isang team which I'll tell later na dapat investigate, well naging maayos naman sila nun playoffs. Pero yun elims ha, every game, may gulo sa side nila. hehe
Pero the main thing or goal ng league na to is the development of players, even homegrown or mixed, at least nafeel na nila kung talagang ok ba sila sa PBA.. Kasi may iba na yes, ok sa amateur leagues pero sa PBA, ayun cheerleader. hehe
Para maexperience nila at matest kung ok ba talaga sila. Or may ibubuga kung baga.
Great hosts and reporters.. Saka yun coaches ha, never heard pero pwede.. Lalo na yun Richard Del Rosario. Kakatawa lalo na paginterview for his winning team. Binabara lagi ng hosts. hehe
Anyway, may mga players na iba na level. I mean pwede na sa PBA, number one example. Paul Lee, which well, magaling at talagang ewan ko kung may babantay sa kanya sa PBA. Kaso he needs to control his temper which cost a surprising upset from Pharex. Speaking of Pharex, mister kabab pala tambayan nila, namely Taylor and Asoro ha. Basta may mga nakakatawa kami banat nila Rheg sa dalawa. hehe Anyway, sayang yun Cobra team na yun, well.. Lee needs to improve his attitude na lang sa game. And change his monicker please.. Cobra commander?
Abueva, ayun, attitude din pero nagchampion naman sila.. Besides that, sobrang galing, pwede na din, parang Espinas siya na kulang lang sa jump shot. Pero yun gulang at depensa, pwede na. Yun nga lang, wag lang sa gulo. hehe
Coach Richard's team, the PC wizards has a very potent backcourt. Naisip niya siguro sana ganun din sa CSB. hehe Lastimosa and Mangahas. Grabe, siguro kung malaki lang si Mangahas, the better one than the other Mangahas in Pharex.. Magaling na PG yun. Si Lastimosa, mana kay tito nga. Pati ang gupit eh. hehe Pero grabe, may future yun dalawa, yun nga lang, wala sila pantapat sa Cebuana Gems.

Ok, my sentiment for this one is this. It's hard to remember each password I use from office, to my emails and logins, or even my atm.. Well, that's easy. hehe But for my online accts, I can't have one single password for all of them..

REMINDERS:
- Yes, since medyo kulang lang ang notes feature sa phone, I am now using calendar and reminders!
- My good memory is not enough to remember not only the task for the day, but also well, other events or collection perhaps.
- At least, medyo natatantsa ko na ang babayaran ko lalo na pag malapit na. hehe
- Since, medyo nakakalimutan ko basahin yun reliable notebook ko, I check on this to see kung nareach ko na ba yun certain goal. Geez or natapos ko na ba..

End of 2nd Quarter
Dapat nung Thursday pa to but anyway, ayun, crap. hehe Nahuli na naman ako and besides I was so busy that week. Not stressed even tired and burn out. I was not able to get my massage to, due to some bills. =(
Let's round up what happened last 3 months, after March of course.
In April, well, problems and obstacles hit me hard and need to do something drastic to fix everything, from my sked and my small shop. It was not easy but I think that month was a very stressful one than the next 2 months. Geez..
Reality stuck hard, at ayun, nafeel ko na ang mga problema. At siyempre yun mga goals naset ko, di ko naachieve, kaliwa't kanan ba naman ang problema.
But well, di naman ako sobrang nagdig in sa stress, siguro, I let him to decide what to do, and what I needed to do..
Great thing, may holy week at nakapagcontemplate naman. =)
May, was the time to really step up and fix what I needed to fix. It helped me to really set my goals and the same time, reduce spending. Like palakasin ang shop and all the aspects of business. Finances ko was dried up and I needed to give up, one of my fave past times.. Geez, I miss those cards. hehe
But definitely helped me and slowly and surely, even it became hectic, fulfilling naman. It bear at least what I need is consistency naman from my shop and now it's working good. Increase na lang siguro ang kailangan. Unfortunately, sa work side, sobrang down na ko especially sa VOC which spelled my doom.
Almost! Great thing, ayun naoffer sa kin lumipat in a team which I never heard of before. After training for almost 10 days, wow, I'm blessed and lucky! Indeed one of my prayers answered. Thank God! Kaso, sana gawin na regular shift. hehe Pero ok na to, better than nothing. But of course, I missed FS naman so much, lalo na ang TL and my former team mates! Damn.. Sorely missed.
June came, and it's the birthday month. What a way to start June, ayun, gulo! hehe Pero tapos na yun at tuloy ang buhay. It was a good month kasi di lang birthday but also due to what I discovered since and it's still ongoing, parang I got inspired to it. I mean, the Feast. =)
It was a good month, especially sa shop na tuloy tuloy, except of course for the sales pero at least may pambayad naman sa lahat di ba.. Thanks at tapos na ang SSS loan and Black Edge is mine! Yeah boy..
I look back at those months, and I can say it's better than the first quarter. It's just yun lang, di ko nagawa ang kailangan ko gawin kahit nakalista. However, kakatuwa, yun mga nilista ko kahit di ko tignan araw araw.. Iba dun nagawa ko na pala. Without reminders or something to remind me.
I'm looking forward this new quarter, and I hope lang it will be less working or stress. Important is lesser problems or worries. Rely to him always, and have love, faith.. Hope.. More prayers. Commitment and like I say, improve.
I can say, tignan na din lagi ang nilista ko, para motivation. hehe
