As Mike Enriquez thought will happen, it won't happen on Sunday. ADMU is the now the champion! hehe Yesterday, I woke at 4pm even I slept around 12pm, at first I thought I can watch the game later. hehe But I woke up and instantly watched the TV. I missed the awards show but no worries because I knew who are the winners already since Wednesday night. hehe Good thing that the game begin at around 4:30pm and the game started, so the first minutes of the game was lead by DLSU and then later part of the first quarter, ADMU just caught fire and burned DLSU and got a 6 point lead I think. hehe
Pero pagdating ng second quarter, noong una, ayun girian at asaran. Siyempre ano pa ba maeexpect mo sa ADMU vs. DLSU game, kundi ganun, walang katapusan angasan. Pero nung umiinit si Chris Tiu, grabe parang wala na silang magawa, si Baclao walang pinapatawad at si Jobe, si whatever last name, hehe gumawa! All of this happened, with Rabeh on the bench for almost the entire first half. hehe So ayun, natapos ang first half, 41-25 ata, siyempre ADMU lamang. I watched the half time report and of course, the pep squad of ADMU are cheering hard, while DLSU's pep squard are smiling yet the crowd is not even cheering for the team. Which I think, they should motivate the team in that situation.
Eto na ang 3rd quarter at sa una mukhang bumabawi na ang DLSU, 5 points agad ang iniskor at di lang yun, naging maganda yun depensa nila. Kaya nakaabot sila ng 6 na lang ang lamang. Si Rabeh gumawa na rin pero iba yun opensa ng DLSU, puro tres ang ginawa. But in the course of the game, may naamoy akong may bumebenta. hehehe Kilala na ni Rheg yun kung sino sino. hehe At mukhang may mali din sa mga referee ha. Kasama ba sa package yun? hehe At eto pa, nanood ang mga legendary benta boys, lalo na tinatawag ni Rheg na "benta king", dun ata nainspire ang mga ungas. hehe Speaking of the weirdest or questionable calls, at the end of the 3rd quarter, Rico has already 1 technical foul and he was suprisingly called for another one! Whaaaaat!!! It's not I am rooting for DLSU, well kinda. hehe But in that close game, your only best defensive player was thrown out all of the sudden! When I checked the replay, well, it was not clear but I think that dirty finger that the reps claim he shown to Rabeh was there. I guess, but oh well. Bad sign to DLSU. So Rico left and DLSU made the game close to just 3 points against ADMU.
Eh, fourth quarter na. Grabe, parang 5 minutes ata, wala pang umiiskor at parang takbo tira pero walang shoot, hehe hanggang sa ayun, gumawa si Jai at Ryan, tapos sumama pa si Nonoy. hehe At ayun, parang last 3 minutes, sumama na din sa dugout si JV, offensive foul at parang di bad trip ha, parang kumita ata. ooops! hehe So ang line up ay Revilla, Mangahas na mukhang may benta din, Maui, Barua at PJ Walsham! Good line up, no more game 3. Ayun, puro free throw na ginawa at tapos na ang laban. Parang ibinigay na lang sa ADMU ang trophy ng DLSU dahil sa mga nangyari. hehe Celebration begun and the ADMU community were so happy and at last, they won the championship. Good job to them, kudos to Norman Black which almost ousted of being a coach before the start of the season due to some failures in the past.
That's the end of the season in UAAP and later, let's see if San Beda will follow. hehe For ADMU, besides Tiu, it will be also Yuri be leaving the team, so meaning, they still have a formidable line up this coming season. Young and athletic, leading by Rabeh and Baclao which on their final seasons I guess. They are still the team to beat and I hope they can win back to back so they can experience at least in UAAP winning back to back championships. hehe How about DLSU? Their chronic problems in point guard and center positions still surface next year if they don't get somebody good in those positions. Those positions killed them in the finals. Another problem coming to them, Rico is planning not to play his final year in DLSU next year. So, who will be their defensive man? Ferdinand? bwahahahaha! Forget it. How bad is their loss in ADMU yesterday, they even did not show up in the awarding ceremonies, even no representative show up for them. It's embarassing what happened to them in the finals. Si Rheg nga, hinihingi na yun kamote at kangkong sa Morayta, kasi sasama na ang DLSU. hehe Kawawa naman. Sino pa tatalo sa ADMU next year? Malamang, ang FEU pwede makatalo sa kanila kasi maganda din ang lineup at matagal pa ang lineup nila, mantakin mo, 2nd year pa lang yun mga players dun, so may 3 years pa silang chance makakuha ng title.
After watching the TV, I ate dinner, first time for a long time.. hehe And then slept under a very strong rain. But I love my sleep, cold and simple. No nightmares or weird dreams. hehe The sleep is a short one but it's good.
Good thing, UST already won a championship, in the expense of ADMU. hahahahahahahaha! ADMU won game 1, but lost in the series! hehe
I hope, I can still witness that UST wins a championship in my lifetime. Go USTe!
